Dick & Jane Letterpress

Dick and Jane was really responsive to our quick timeline. Folks love our save the dates and invites and more importantly I love them! They do great work, have very reasonable rates and tun out a beautiful, handmade product.

I was planning to design some simple invitations and find my own printer to print them, but I actually did a quick search for local letterpress studios and Dick and Jane popped up. After taking a quick look at their website, I scheduled a visit to their studio. I had emailed them an Illustrator file of my invite design and they had made a couple of good tweaks to the spacing and layout that would look better letterpresses. They also design invites and I was definitely impressed with their designs. They showed me how a letterpress works (so cool!) as well as some invitations from past customers. We talked about paper and color and they were really great with recommendations without trying to sell me on the most expensive. They finished my 250 invites (and RSVP cards) in about 3 weeks and I was super impressed with the quality. I thought about ordering invites online, but I'm so glad I could work with great people, support a local business, and have invitations that didn't look like everyone else's.

I can't say enough good things about Dick and Jane Letterpress. They did our save the dates and our invitations and both turned out beautifully and right in our budget (and we were on a budget!). They were very flexible and worked with us to get the cards just right. We had a few ideas about what we wanted, and Brian was able to turn our vague ideas into a beautiful design. If you're looking for letterpress invites - look no further!

This was such a great experience. We were trying to find good quality invites but not with the expensive price tag. We got our idea from the MN Bride magazine and asked to do a Wild theme. Brian was excited to work with our idea and asked for our feedback. If there was something we wanted or didn't want he accomodated to it. Our guests were impressed with our invites.

I was so, so, so thrilled with my invitations from Dick and Janes. I had so many compliments from guests on my unique letterpress invitations and they are still one of my favorite pieces to my wedding. I had a short engagement and needed quick turn around on these. I hit him during a busy time, and he was able to deliver! He stayed late at the shop one night with his son so I could pick up the invites after being stuck in traffic. He was great to work with, I would highly recommend!! You won't find a better price on letterpress in the Twin Cities either :)

I got a recommendation from a friend, and loved working with Dick and Jane Letterpress!!!! The invitations were gorgeous, it was easy, they were faster than expected and we later realized that the price was about what we would have spent making copies on cardstock at Kinkos. Amazing value! We got invitations, place cards, thank you, RSVP cards, and letterpressed envelopes.
