I had such a great experience with Diem Angie’s Team as a MOH for my best friend’s wedding last September that I booked them for my own wedding this past April.
My lead artists ...
were Amanda (hair) and Nicole (make up). I was glad I did the hair and make up trial with the artists as well. They were punctual! Amanda was excellent at helping me fine tune and curate the vision for my hair based off of a few sample photos and through the process of getting to know me and what makes me feel confident when it comes to my hair styling. Between the trial and the big day, we made the tweaks I wanted/needed - and the hair style lasted me all night (7:45am to 3am).
Nicole’s makeup look for me lasted all day and provided the perfect balance of soft-glam and natural which I felt most comfortable in, and the make up did not run! She was also extremely down-to-earth and easy to work with. Jewels, Karolina, and Jackie did such a great job with the bridal party. Diem and Melissa were easy to work with and create a schedule and contract that best fit the needs for an early ceremony and a larger bridal party. Would definitely recommend!

Melissa and Anna were absolutely wonderful — so personable, easy to talk to, and they made me feel completely comfortable. During my trial, they really listened to what I wanted, and I walked away feeling excited and confident for my wedding day. I was a little nervous because I don’t usually wear much makeup (just eyeliner!) and I’ve been in other weddings where “natural” makeup still felt heavy or overdone. But I asked for soft glam — and they absolutely nailed it. My entire bridal party also requested soft glam, and every single one of us looked and felt beautiful.
Even my mother-in-law, who was hesitant about getting her hair and makeup done, ended up thrilled with how she looked. My mom, who has some thinning at the front of her hairline, was treated with so much care — Melissa took the time to style her hair in a way that covered her balding spots beautifully.
Our bridal party is a diverse group with a range of skin tones, and every single person walked away feeling confident, natural, and radiant. As a curly-haired bride, I was so grateful for how skillfully Melissa worked with my curls — she styled them perfectly without flattening or frizzing them.

When it came to the wedding day Jean executed my vision perfectly, my hair and make-up were exactly what I dreamed of and felt so beautiful! My lashes were not symmetrical on my big day (I didn’t notice right away), and makeup looked cakey within 4 hours. We had requested for airbrush and expected the traditional airbrush style for the wedding day but this was not done, unfortunately. She also did my hair and makeup last, which was expected in the contract, but she also did 5 other ladies’ makeup before me (In the past she had focused on the bride only and this was what we had in mind before booking her) We thought working with the bride last affected how my makeup turned out. There is an early morning and travel fee depending on where you need services but she does not do Chicago proper. She requires cash only too for the day of services.

In a panic and with 3 months to go before my wedding, I reached out to Diem who was very responsive and was able to get creative with her scheduling (I think she already had several other weddings on our date) and offer Nicole and Melissa. My trial with them was fantastic and I felt so much more confident heading into my wedding!
For the day of, Nicole and Melissa got their early and were so efficient with hair and makeup. Even when we ran slightly behind because one of my bridesmaid was late, they were able to move our schedule around to make sure we still got everyone ready on time. I felt so confident in my hair (glam waves) and makeup (felt very me still) and loved my look. For someone who gets shiny throughout the day, I didn't require a lot of refreshing throughout the day.

I got so many compliments about how great I looked and how long it held up, even with removing my veil and two outfit changes (I started hair/makeup at 10am and the reception went until midnight). wanted until I saw what I didn’t want!) After my trial, Diem and Alex both followed up with me regarding what I liked and if there was anything I wanted to do differently. I had a list of things I decided I wanted to do differently from my trial, from the eyeshadow, eyebrows, and type of fake eyelashes that I wanted, to the hairstyle and hairpiece I wanted to use. When I saw the final look on my wedding day, I was in LOVE. Alex incorporated my hairpiece beautifully even though I didn’t have it for her during my trial, and everything honestly was perfection. Even though it was June and I didn’t think it was going to rain, we ended up getting married in a downpour. My hair and makeup stayed absolutely perfect, and my eyeliner didn’t smudge or drip. I was so impressed! I even had guests tell me they didn’t know how my hair still was so perfect during the reception even though I got completely drenched during the ceremony. My bridesmaids also all had only good things to say about how their hair and makeup held up in the rain and throughout the course of the evening. I had six girls needing to get hair AND makeup done, and between Alex, Patricia, and Lesley, they were able to get the entire wedding party ready in 4.5 hours (my first bridesmaid started at 11am, the last one finished at 3:30pm, which is incredible! It was so nice to not have a 7am start time for hair and makeup, and everyone was able to sleep in and wake up well-rested, but also not have their hair and makeup feel rushed) Thank you so much Diem Angie’s team!!!

ely LOVED my hair and makeup every time. Whether it is Diem herself, or one of her girls, the quality and artistry of both the hair and makeup are impeccable! For each event, my makeup was perfectly blended, not overly heavy and showed up beautifully on camera. My hair stayed curled and place during my entire wedding ceremony and reception. It looked the same as when it was done during the day when I took it down to go to bed, as was the makeup! For my wedding day, we had five bridesmaids and two moms get hair and makeup done. Many of the girls added services like false lashes last minute and Diem and her girls were prepared. We did not go over on time despite the last minute changes. All of the girls are professional, on time, and extremely skilled artists. You will not regret hiring Diem and her team!

liked. So I contacted Diem and she set me up with Michelle and Elisabeth. I ended up having a trial for both myself and my mom which went great. Michelle and Elisabeth were great to have around day of and kept us on or ahead of schedule. They had their work cut out for them with myself, 6 bridesmaids, two moms and a junior bridesmaid but they weren't phased by all the action or the pouring rain they arrived in. Everyone looked beautiful. So far, I only have a couple sneak peek photos but each time I look I think about how my hair was exactly what I wanted (and we made some on the spot tweaks from the trial) and my makeup made me look beautiful but still recognizable as myself. It was perfect. Highly recommend!

rtist/hair stylist in the past, and needless to say, she scarred us bad. but when we reached out the Diem and her team, they sure did made a whole turn over and proved to us that they were on the opposite side of the spectrum compared to the initial make up artist we worked with.
They hands down, made the day go by so smoothly. They had the time management down, the looks we wanted replicated, and the wedding jitters slowly went away because of the laughter we all shared and the getting ready playlist they had going.
Lastly, when I needed someone to change my hairdo at the reception, Diem was quick in accommodating and made me look like the actual star of the night.

These ladies are so talented and it was extremely reassuring knowing that they would make me look like a million bucks for my wedding. The first question I get from Angie was how I would describe my make-up style and to send over a photo of myself, she made sure to pair me up with an artist that suited my style and could work with my complexion/features. Diem was very quick to respond and was even willing to speak with me over the phone and answer any concerns or questions I had. I felt very positive about her team and their services after our conversation and proceeded with setting up a trial.
Diem recommended Abbey for my hair and Patricia for my makeup as she felt they would both achieve the boho/whimsical bridal look I was going for. She was completely right - Both Abbey and Patricia were AMAZING! They were both so friendly and easy to talk to. Throughout my trial, they went step-by-step with my hair and makeup to make sure it was exactly as I envisioned it.
The day of my wedding, Diem sent two additional team members (Bethany and Elisabeth) to ensure all 13 girls would have their hair and makeup done on-time. The team was prompt, professional and extremely friendly/helpful to everyone. They paid close attention to each girl’s hair and makeup “inspiration” photos and made every effort to ensure they were happy with their look step-by-step. Abbey even stayed behind to help each girl put on their flower crown to make sure everything was secure and looked perfect – I really appreciated that! I was so pleased with how everyone’s hair and makeup (including my own) turned out as it was exactly the wedding look I was going for!

at I have never been completely satisfied with the past hair stylists and how they styled my hair. However, Diem did an AMAZING job with my hair!! She was able to create an up-do that was exactly what I wanted and it looked flawless. My hair lasted all day and all night. I didn't have to do any touch ups on my own or add any extra bobby pins to keep things in place. Everything stayed put.
She was extremely easy to work with. Diem always replied to my emails quickly and answered each of my questions. She arrived right on time the day of the wedding and was fully prepared with all of her own tools and products. There was a total of 4 girls (including me) getting their hair done and she did each one by herself. She was very efficient and finished each girls hair earlier than expected.
Diem also had a very positive and upbeat attitude. :) She was genuinely interested in my wedding day and kept asking me questions about my wedding. She made each girl feel comfortable about their hair and was able and willing to do whatever they requested.
About a month after the wedding, she sent a follow-up email asking how everything went and requested to see the wedding photos. I felt that that was very thoughtful and professional of her. To me, this shows that even after the wedding day has passed, she still cares about her clients and their satisfaction with her service.

The three of us did a trial together within a week and I was very impressed with how beautiful her makeup was. I remained impressed with every look she put together throughout my events, each one completely different in colors and style. When I called her on my wedding day, she did admit that she had made a scheduling error, but arrived to my hotel just in time and told me of her experience doing makeup and hair for fashion shows, so I knew she'd be able to make me gorgeous in no time. Because of her mistake, she reduced the price of my package and, even with the added stress, I wouldn't change my decision for one minute. She was able to do my hair to frame my face without a consultation, and my makeup make me look and feel like me. She's very professional, very kind, and just a wonderful artist. I highly recommend her to anyone for any function!
