About this vendor
DIFY Events is a wedding planning and coordination business operating out of New Orleans, LA, and is run and operated by Destiny Karash-Givens. Destiny has been lightly involved in the event industry for about 2 years on and off but isn't a stranger to event planning. Prior to wedding planning, Destiny was a classroom teacher for six years, so organization and attention to detail come as second nature.
Dify Events is here to help with all planning needs, no matter how minor or extravagant. The ultimate goal is for you to have a stress-free day. In some cases, coordination duties are assigned to family members, the bridal party, or even the bride and groom. Dify Events wants to take the stress off of those parties so they can, well... party! Our assistance begins the moment you choose us and continues even after you walk down the aisle.
Whether you're looking for someone to help you tie up loose ends, or you have no clue where to start, Destiny is there to help you every step of the way. She prides herself on the relationship she builds with her clients throughout the planning process and is there to help you create the wedding of your dreams!
IT'S TIME TO DO IT FOR YOU!

There are almost no words to be said for how amazing Destiny was (but we’re happy to try!). Day-of coordinator doesn’t do justice to how involved she was leading up to our wedding ...
process. She made sure to check in as we got a few months out, and then started to take over scheduling, communications with the vendors, and coordination at the venue before it could even get stressful for us. As a pretty hands-on person, I felt so comfortable just saying “in Destiny we trust” and letting her handle the logistics.
She’s also so knowledgeable about all of the vendors and wedding-related businesses in the area. The random Airbnb my family booked: “That place is great for pictures.” The bakery for our cake (the delicious Bywater Bakery): “Destiny is the best.” Our band, who hadn’t worked with her before: “Your planner is so on top of things, it’s been so easy for us.” Our family and wedding party also kept acknowledging how smoothly the day of went because of her organization.
And beyond just the logistics - Destiny is so funny, and kind, and the sort of person we’d love to be friends with. We enjoyed the time we got to spend with her on video calls, laughing at the rehearsal and even right before walking down the aisle, and especially at the dance party reception. You really can’t do better if you’re in New Orleans or Austin - those couples are so lucky to have her!

iss getting to speak with her so much. We hired her for coordination and had about 135 guests. Though we planned our wedding (and quite well if we do say so), she had brilliant ideas to make it the perfect and seamless day that it was. Her vendor coordination was amazing and she was ON IT all week and the two months leading up to it. She is the reason we slept at night. If you are an anxious person, hire Destiny! She reassured us countless times. We love Destiny and we promise you will as well!

g every speck of a detail. She took our very strange concept idea for a wedding, and made it a beautiful event that our guests loved. During the reception, no one in my wedding party had to lift a finger to help out. In fact, for the entire year people kept asking if we needed any help, and we never did because she had it all handled seamlessly. She also has great ideas, suggestions, and feedback, which I felt made our day even better. If anything went wrong, I certainly didn't know about it! She was very open and accepting to some difficult family dynamics, and our nontraditional ways as a couple. We could not have been luckier than to stumble upon her! Hire DIFY Events, you won't regret it.

idn't have to lift a finger because she made sure everything was in place, vendors were spoken to, flowers were brought to my house, neon sign was set up, every little detail was brought to life without me having to worry. I was able to truly enjoy my day because I knew she was in control of all of the hard stuff. She made a very user-friendly run of show document that we both could edit and respected how much I wanted and liked to be involved. We had a few in-person and phone meetings and that was all she needed to help bring my vision to life. I would recommend Destiny to any bride to make the process lovely and smooth, you can focus on the fun stuff!
