we signed did say that someone else could be sent. A few weeks before our wedding, I reached out to confirm the number of people that would be with Shannon because we had also booked the Photo Booth with him. He let me know that there would be 2 people total, but still had not told me who it would be and later referred to the individuals as “his staff” and said they would arrive 2 hours before the ceremony. Eventually I received a call from another DJ named Brian who said he would be taking over and I wouldn’t have contact with Shannon any longer. We had decided to spend the money on the Photo Booth rather than favors so people could leave with pictures from the night. The Photo Booth stopped printing within the first hour of the reception (after only 18 of the 2x6 picture strips had been printed) and the new paper Brian had didn’t work in the machine so most of our guests left without any of their pictures. The other issue was that there was a book so that guests could post a picture in the book and write us a message and also take a picture home. This was unsuccessful as well because of the printer not working. We did get a thumb drive after the wedding with the pictures but again, the photo strips with our names and date for the guests were not available. At the end of the night, Brian apologized and said that part of what we paid for was the printed pictures. He said he would print them out when he got home and mail them to us. On October 27th, about 2 and a half weeks after our wedding, we reached out to Brian because the pictures hadn’t arrived. He said he was waiting to hear back from Shannon to get our address. I told him I could give it to him right away so he didn’t have to wait for Shannon. He told me he’d send them in the next couple of days. 2 weeks went by and still no pictures arrived in the mail. I called Brian again and he blamed the mail. He said he would reprint them all that weekend and send them again on the following Monday but this time with UPS instead of USPS and also said he would send me the tracking number so I could keep track of the package. I never received any tracking number. Another month went by and I called him again. He claimed that he had texted me a tracking number, but he must have texted the wrong number or never actually texted at all. He still stuck to his story that the pictures had been sent again and said he would resend me the tracking number as soon as we hung up. Of course that didn’t happen and we still haven’t received the pictures. This all could have been ignored if Brian was an amazing DJ and friendly person however this was not the case. My ceremony started late because he was still setting up his equipment despite all of us in the wedding being ready with plenty of time. He had also told me he’d arrive 2 hours early. He ignored my guests requests for certain songs despite my approval and his own wife who was working the Photo Booth actually mentioned how bad of a DJ he was in front of a bridesmaid and another wedding vendor. I wish things were different but I don’t want anyone else to have to go through the same nonsense that we did for something that should not have been so difficult. I just wanted the pictures that I paid for.

We also got the photo booth as part of the package. It was a really fun addition and a big hit with our guests. At the end we got a cute album with copies of everyone's photos.

We reached out to our other vendors, who were great resources, and we were given Shannon’s name by multiple people. He came highly recommended, and was well known in the wedding community. We discovered he had even worked at our wedding venue before, and with some of our other vendors, which was a huge bonus. Knowing that he was familiar with our reception space, and could work well with everyone else was very reassuring. We (mostly me, being the worrier) were in constant communication, and he was always extremely prompt with responses. Any question I had, he had an answer. If he didn’t know the answer himself, he reached out to his fellow vendors in the wedding community, and found it for us. Even with last minute changes (mere days before our wedding), he rolled with the punches, and was was nothing but accommodating to our change of mind. We had put together a pretty decent list of preferred, do not play, and guest request songs. It turned out OUR preferences weren’t exactly getting our guests excited, and out on the dance floor. But Shannon brings his A-game. He was able to swiftly read our crowd, and switch gears, so that the dance floor was full. And THAT is precisely what we hired him to do; throw a party that all of our guests would enjoy. Our family and friends still come up to us, and say what a fun wedding it was. I firmly believe that things happen for a reason, and this is a perfect example. We came upon Shannon by total chance, and he more than surpassed our hopes, and expectations. We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience, and have no hesitation about saying you can put your full trust, and confidence in Shannon’s services. Do yourself a favor, and get some peace of mind by hiring Digital DJ.

or and I had only seen the venue once, and he helped orchestrate everything the day of and made everything a success. He was so incredible patient with me as I made last minute changes (including providing him ceremony songs and changing the first dance location the NIGHT BEFORE the wedding). Shannon was an excellent DJ and played all of our requests as well as requests made by our guests the night of. He read the room perfectly and everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. We also got the photo booth through Digital DJ and it was such a hit! When people weren't on the dance floor, they were in the photo booth taking pictures. At the end of the night, they gave my husband and I a beautiful book full of copies of ever picture that was taken by our friends and family in the photo booth that night. We had so much fun looking through the photos and it's so nice to have them perfectly displayed in the book. It was such a thoughtful thing to do and so nice to walk away with the photos that night. You don't have to look anywhere else for your wedding DJ needs. Shannon and his team are simply the best!

Shannon was very communicative regarding payment but not so much regarding the day itself. Overall disappointed and our original intuition seemed correct that it wasn’t a good fit.

We loved that the photo strips had our wedding colors on them and they surprised us with this super cute book of everyone's photos with little messages from them. From hooking up a family member to sing during our ceremony, special request cocktail hour music and requests we listed on his website we couldn’t have been more pleased with his services, he rocked the house all night long! Shannon’s wife Michele is something special as well. She took care of the photo booth duties all night and took care of all our guests with props, photos and even a nice little surprise at the end. ple. Shannon sat with me for about 90 minutes that first meeting, really getting to know me and what vibe we were looking for at the reception. He asked a ton of really good questions and answered all my concerns with brutal honesty (not like a salesman). Not only that, but he remembered everything we talked about A YEAR LATER when we reconnected the week before the wedding. That was really impressive. Digital DJ has an amazing website where you put in all the info they could possibly need to make your event go smoothly. You get to pick music you love, like and hate. There are places to input info about your bridal party's names, entrance order, order of events, etc.. We were able to save our work and fill out all the forms over the course of a few months, which helped alleviate the pressure on us. The website was easy to use and extremely helpful in helping us wrap our heads around what the heck we were doing! At no extra charge to us, Shannon brought another DJ to help him out (Randy Mathieu). They were providing us with a couple extra audio accessories for our ceremony, which was held in a different location, and they both took the time to help us learn to use it. We also learned that the projector the location had provided us for the reception didn't have a very good speaker so Shannon quickly figured out how to use some of his own equipment to make our video audible to everyone. When we arrived at the reception Shannon came over to us and said we could ask him for *anything*, from a song change to waving him down to bring us drinks. We had a lot of extra "fun" things we threw in during the reception, and Shannon & Randy rolled with everything, timing their music cues PERFECTLY. Hire these guys, you won't regret it!!

He did stray from our "must play" list some, but people seemed to enjoy themselves for the most part. I do wish I had requested more music to be specifically played during dinner, or added more to the "hate it" list because I was not big on his choices. But all in all Shannon was very professional and great to with.

That's right, he forgot about my wedding! You may be thinking "maybe he wrote it down wrong, honest mistake". NO! The wedding date is used to log into his website, in addition to the contract, so I know for a fact he had the right info. During our cocktail hour we went into the barn for pictures (THANK GOD) and found he wasn't there. We called him at which point he literally told us he FORGOT and by the time he got to the wedding and set up the wedding was half over. The first half of my wedding was "DJed" by Pandora! It took him hours to get to us, and another hour to set up. He showed up red eyed and disheveled. THEN, to make matters worse, he gave us a hard time and refused to give us a full reimbursement! He ended up giving us back about 40% of our money. When we got the refund it came without a note, in a coffee stained envelope, just to add salt to the wound i guess! We paid for 5 hours of DJ time and got about 2.5 hours. He actually had the audacity to say that once he got there he did a good job and deserved to be paid. But he was too unorganized to consider it a good job. He didn't have our intro song downloaded so we had to walk in to something else, he didn't introduce us loud enough to stop the party, and he didn't announce our cake cutting so most of our guests missed them. Truth be told, he may have done okay with the dance music, but I was too upset by his tardiness and attitude to notice.

t. We had a choreographed first dance and he played the two songs to the the exact second. His personality was excellent. He was very flexible and helped us out last minute when the one of the bridal party members had a family emergency and could not play the ceremony music, bringing a speaker over, finding my music two days before the wedding and making sure that everything went smoothly. DJ Bun made the bouquet toss and garter toss a bunch of fun for our quests, helping us navigate through it. At the end of the night he had me come up to his DJ booth and scratch some records for my guests. He had lights that made our outside summer wedding light up with fun. It was overall the best night of our lives and we definitely picked the right DJ service. Digital DJ was very quick to respond when I made my inquiry and/or had questions. I definitely believe I got my money worth and would highly recommend them to anybody else having a North Eastern wedding!!

I don't think you should ignore the bride at her own wedding. If I could get my money back I would. Not overly impressed.
