Dilven MUA

compliments on my make up. My daughter was the flower girl and Dilven was soooo good with her! I would definitely recommend hiring her for your next make up event!

at I wanted and enhanced my features in a natural yet elevated way.  On top of that, she was so kind and went above and beyond by sharing helpful skincare recommendations tailored to me, which I really appreciated. I can’t recommend her enough - if you’re looking for someone talented, professional, and kind, Dilven is the one!

made the process seamless. I had a great time during my trial, she set the atmosphere with some music to make it fun and we laughed the whole time! I was so happy with the outcome, I received many compliments and it lasted through out the night! my bridesmaids and I are so excited and looking forward to my wedding day , highly recommend!

great listener. She takes in your desires and inspiration to turn it into a work of art. Utilizing both the bride’s wants and also her expertise to what would suit the bride’s complexion and most importantly, their personality. I came to her with ideas on what I wanted and she rolled with it. I’m excited for the wedding day and to see how it’ll all blend together.

keup incredible but she also provided a safe and friendly space, where I felt at ease getting my makeup done. I would/will recommend.

he big day. Not only is she the sweetest person ever, but her makeup skills are amazing! I was balling my eyes out saying my vows to my husband and my makeup did not budge. Dilven lights up the room and makes everyone feel so comfortable, my bridesmaids were taking her information for their future wedding, and even my hair stylists were asking for business cards!! Book Dilven for your wedding, you seriously will not regret it.

t she did such an amazing job. My makeup was flawless and my confidence sky rocketed. Very beautiful human being.

asure to work with. Personally, I’ve always hated getting my make up done from other people because I feel I can’t sit still that easily, but she was patient and knowledgeable and is so easy to have a conversation with and just an overall lovely person. I wish I could take her everywhere with me whenever I need to look nice!!

attitude the whole time. The energy she brought to the process made a world of difference. She gave us helpful tips and was so patient with me bringing my own makeup as I have allergies to certain products. She was more than accommodating and again, such a pleasure to be around!

a combo skin girly, and she knew exactly what products to use for my skin type. I didn't know what look I wanted to go for so I just described what I usually go for and she took it from there. Each step throughout the session, she explained what she was using and also answered any questions I had. I loved the final look, she did a great job at covering what I wanted but also let my natural freckles peak out. I mentioned I wanted a smoky eye look and she delivered! In terms of lasting power, it lasted all day and into the night.

well-prepared, and attentive to my needs. She took the time to understand my vision and provided valuable suggestions that enhanced my look while staying true to my preferences.

he was not only loved by all my friends and family but also showcased an incredible level of talent and diligence. Her artistry went beyond my expectations, making me feel and look stunning. Dilven's attention to detail and her ability to make everyone feel special made her an integral part of our celebration. If you're looking for someone who combines exceptional skill with a heartfelt approach, Dilven is the perfect choice.

reated together and I loved how collaborative the process was. Apart from the makeup, what really made the experience so amazing was how friendly and fun she is! She made me feel so comfortable and it was like one of my best friends doing my makeup. The makeup stayed on all day/night and I am SO excited to have her be a part of my big day!! She was the perfect fit and I can’t recommend her more!!

eautiful and authentic self! Her diversified looks are night and day, I felt like a high fashion model. I highly recommend her for any occasion. I will 110% be booking with her again! Thank you so much, Dilven! You truly have exceptional talent!

hat with and made me feel completely comfortable while she did my makeup - a feat since I can be a bit of a control freak lol

work. She created a beautiful, natural-looking glam makeup look that was exactly what I wanted. From the moment we started, Dilven made me feel completely at ease. She listened carefully to my preferences and paid attention to every detail. The makeup was flawless and lasted all day and night, even through happy tears and lots of dancing! Dilven’s professionalism and warm personality made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I received countless compliments on my makeup and felt incredibly confident throughout the wedding. I highly recommend Dilven to anyone looking for stunning, natural glam makeup. She is a true artist!

un and just made me even more excited for my wedding day! She even gave me some skin care recommendations to help prepare my skin, and I really just cannot say enough nice things! Book Dilven, you won’t regret it!

. I reached out to Dilven in Nov '22 about doing the makeup for my wedding (in Sept '23). Everything seemed great, so I signed a contract with her and sent a deposit. I also asked Dilven if she would do my rehearsal dinner makeup. She quickly agreed. From my perspective everything was locked in. When booking my trial, I told her that I do not live in the New England area, but I had a few trips scheduled there. I wanted to do my trial during one of these trips. In May '23 I contacted Dilven and booked a trial for the end of the month. It was challenging to figure out this booking as Dilven has a full-time job, but I was happy to accommodate. As a freelancer, I understand the importance of side hustles and was happy to work around her schedule. However, the DAY BEFORE the trial she canceled. I reminded her that I don't live in the area and wouldn't be able to visit MA again before the wedding. Still, she decided to move forward with the cancellation explaining that she had to work her other job when our trial was scheduled. A few weeks before my wedding Dilven and I were emailing. She said she would need a hotel room for 2 nights (Thursday and Friday). This was never fully outlined in the contract. I knew I would be putting her up on Friday night between the rehearsal dinner and the reception, but wasn't told she'd need a 2nd night until now. However, I happily obliged. My venue could only accommodate guests starting on Fri. Dilven wanted to arrive on Thur for a 2-3pm application on Fri (She lives a 3-hour drive away, so this request really made no sense, but I went with it anyway). I told her I would have to book her in a hotel offsite as we didn't have a hotel block in Maine for Thursday night. Even my fiance and I weren't arriving in Maine until Friday. During our email exchanges, Dilven mentioned that she wanted 2 hours to do my rehearsal makeup and that our time would be used as a "trial" since we never had one. This was contradictory to her earlier emails in which we discussed the option of forgoing the trial, and both agreed to skip it. I kindly told Dilven that on the day before my wedding, I didn't have time for a trial. I just wanted a basic application for dinner. Then Dilven also emailed me an arbitrary number for her travel. I questioned where this number came from. The contract had numbers for travel outlined and the price she was providing me didn't match those. Dilven couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked to speak to her on the phone, but received an email saying that she could no longer work my wedding. Here are some reasons she outlined in email: 1) The contract was not "valid" as I had TBD listed in a few places (such as my day-of schedule, etc.) Why would I know all this a year before the wedding when I originally signed the document? 2) Said I "never" booked her a hotel room. I did. And it's not refundable. 3) I questioned her travel rate. 4) I didn't have a trial... Yet she said not having a trial was fine, and she was the one who canceled my trial. Dilven has yet to answer my phone calls or texts. She's completely ghosted me. I've never encountered someone so unprofessional. Overall booking Dilven was a horrible decision as it caused me an extreme amount of stress on the week leading up to my wedding. I do not recommend this vendor as she was unreliable and gaslit me through the entire process.

le providing a great experience. She was easy to work with and when talking with her I felt like I had known her for years. Highly recommend!

the look I was trying to achieve and made sure I was pleased at every step of her process ! If you are looking for a make up artist for your wedding day or any other special occasion - look no further !

nformative. If you want to look and feel the best hire her immediately

up look that left me speechless. I felt like a glowing goddess. She’s incredibly warm, friendly and so easy to talk to during the entire consult and appointment. I knew we’d hit it off within minutes of first meeting! And the glass of champagne was also a lovely touch and much appreciated.

yond with it -- I wanted a natural radiant look with the slightest bit of glam, and she did just that while also highlighting my Asian features beautifully. Dilven also prepped my skin so well before applying the makeup--it made me feel like I was glowing. Dilven is communicative and honest, which I appreciate. She's a genuine human, and I knew from the moment I met her that she is an artist worth supporting. She is overall welcoming, empowering, passionate and incredibly experienced in what she does!!

I booked with her and I am so glad I did. Dilven is so knowledgeable and organized with her makeup artistry. She is also super strategic with the application of her products! I barely felt that I had makeup on all night; it felt so light. I also did not feel like I had too much makeup on my face. I loved how beautiful it looked on my skin (which is very textured) and looked like my skin. When I looked in the mirror I could not look away because I have quite literally never felt so beautiful in my life! Dilven and I chatted and laughed the whole time she was doing my makeup. She made the whole experience so comfortable for me. I loved her and will book with her again and again.

ng my makeup trial. The day of the wedding she was not only on time, but even a little early! My mother in law at first she was a little hesitant since she never had makeup done before. In the end she was very happy she did and was most excited for her eyelashes. Dilven makes you feel comfortable and is great to sit and chat with. You will not have to worry if you hire with Dilven.

how to hype the room up. Not only was she efficient with her time but she made sure before we all took the aisle that everyone looked fantastic. This day could not have been what is was without her!

levated version of myself. I have combination skin and my makeup lasted really well throughout the day. I got my makeup done at 5 am and it still looked really good by 12 am the next day. She provided a touch up kit which was really nice, the blotting sheets came in handy as well! She is professional and personable, I really enjoyed my session with her. When it's my turn to get married I will definitely reach out to Dilven! ☺️

l even before the makeup. She listened to exactly what I wanted: soft glam and not too “cakey,” and worked really well with managing my skin type (I get oily quickly). She gave us all a gift bag with small goodies in order to touch up our makeup throughout the night which was supper helpful. I highly recommend working with her!

a trial with any other makeup artists! She is a thoughtful listener and takes time to understand and execute on what makeup story you want to tell on your big day. My group and I don’t wear much makeup on a day-to-day, so we opted for natural glam and it was just stunning. I was also so nervous about crying off my makeup and it didn’t budge one bit throughout the entire night. Also! My bridesmaids and I are all from different backgrounds and have a huge range in skin tones. There was never a moment in which anyone felt that she couldn’t work with their complexion, or didn’t have the correct shades for them. It was perfect. Lastly, Dilven is not just a makeup artist, she is a host. She really kept the energy and conversation going the entire time we were getting ready. Book her now for your big day!!

n my looks for two hours! Dilven made me feel super comfortable immediately and used her expertise when I didn’t have exact directions to get to what I was generally looking for. She explained every new thing going on my face and asked questions that helped both her and I figure out the look. The result was a natural glam which is what I wanted! Application-wise, I always struggle with strip lashes due to me eye shape but the lashes stayed on better than any other time I’ve tried them. Even the corners that usually come off. When I took them off it didn’t take any of my real lashes off either. She was very open to any style adjustments I want to make for wedding day. I’m a people pleaser so I felt bad making any new edits after sitting with it for a while but she makes sure you know it’s your day and wants to give you what you want! Aside from the makeup itself, she was a pleasure to work with and a generous fun helpful person. She also gave me some skincare tips and product recommendations. I’m much more comfortable going into wedding day and definitely recommend, esp to anyone who needs a helping hand in figuring out what look you’re going for and understanding makeup in general!

the whole process. My makeup came out amazing and I can’t wait to have her glam me and my ladies up on my wedding day!

sure to ask about allergies and preferences in terms of colors and amount of coverage. I also appreciated her checking in with what I liked and wanted throughout the process. Dilven is a great choice for brides looking for someone who will listen and laugh with them while giving them a beautiful natural look and glow. Definitely recommend!

ith her again

nviting, I instantly felt comfortable and all the nerves went away. When it came to my look, I let her take the reigns and let me tell you, she did not disappoint! I absolutely LOVED my look and was so happy with my overall experience! 10/10 recommend her!

. She was able to create the exact look I wanted by listening to me and showing me the look as she was creating it. I can’t wait to book her again for my next makeup appointment. You’re a sweetheart Dilven! Thank you for listening to me and making me feel pretty!

for my wedding before I was even engaged. Dilven is kind, caring, attentive and over all extremely professional - She is very quick to respond to emails and made a few great suggestions for the big day that really helped me plan my day better! She confirmed details and reconfirmed details with me when plans had to change slightly on my end. Dilven went above and beyond and made sure everyone was on time and did exactly what the girls wanted even with such a large bridal party. They were even more accommodating when one of my bridesmaids decided last minute, she wanted her makeup done. Throughout the whole process Dilven kept in contact and made my vision come true. I cannot recommend Dilven enough and I’m so grateful I found her on Instagram.

run smoothly. She beat all the expectations I had going into the session. It amazed me how quickly she could adjust the makeup look if we wanted to tweak anything. She has such a keen eye. I wanted a glammed-up, but natural look, and she gave me exactly that. Something that I love about her work is that she tries to bring out one's natural beauty and features they already have. Throughout the entire session, I felt comfortable. Through words of encouragement and through normal conversations, her genuity is evident, which made me trust her and the process. Sometimes, trusting someone to perform beauty services can be nerve-wracking because every artist has their own methods. Dilven is a true artist with expert skills and a true professional. I'm very thankful, and I feel appreciated for the time she took with me to make sure I loved the end look. It was an all-around amazing, fun experience, in which I will certainly be going back to her for future glam sessions.

tist’s ability to match colors to my skin tone while maintaining a natural look. Not only did Dilven make me look amazing, but she also made me feel extremely comfortable and made the whole experience exciting and fun! I left her feeling gorgeous and like a made a new friend! I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

not have originally thought of. Excited for her to be apart of my wedding day!

ing (due to a situation with my original MUA). I was freaking out but then I reached out to Dilven and she was available (THANK GOD). I am so much happier with Dilven so it was clearly meant to be!❤️😍

d a busy schedule. Upon arrival for the trial, she made me feel so comfortable and asking me questions about my skin routine and what I wanted done. All I said was glam but nothing TOO dramatic. She is warm, kind and funny and made the whole experience memorable. She is also a queen of her craft and so knowledgeable! Definitely going to her again.

k every step of the way. Not only is she extremely talented but she is so sweet and funny, just a joy to work with. She made the experience so much fun for me and was super accommodating. I’ve had my makeup done professionally several times and its never looked nearly this good (I’m very picky) and also had another makeup trial with another artist before that left me feeling like I wouldn’t be able to find someone great. I WAS WRONG!!!! I’m so glad I found Dilven and CANNOT WAIT for my wedding day!!!!

Dilven absolutely nailed it! Dilven is a photographer and makeup artist so she knows how to makeup my makeup look amazing on camera & off. On my wedding day, my makeup stayed perfect throughout the entire day/night and my bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law's makeup were equally as stunning. Not only is Dilven a talented makeup artist but is also a pleasure to be around on the day of your wedding! I'm so happy she was my makeup artist! I can't recommend her enough.
