DiMare Pastry did an absolutely AMAZING job with our wedding cake & pastries!! The cake was absolutely delicious, and they provided platters of yummy treats like cannolis, tiramsu, and cookies for each table. It was a perfect way to end the night. Highly recommend!

They went above and beyond my expectations of the design of the cake. It was just beautiful! They always have amazing flavors and treats. The biscoff flavored cake was a big hit with everyone at the wedding. We got nothing but complements!

My wife and I could not be happier with our wedding cake!! We spent an afternoon with Sabrina tasting cakes and customizing the look of our wedding cake to our preference. We ended up getting a unique cake, their brand new (at the time) cookie butter flavored cake. We loved a lot of their cakes during the tasting, but the cookie butter cake was the won my wife and I fought over for the last bite (I lost). At the wedding, and after the wedding, we received so many compliments on our cake. At the end of our wedding night we asked the venue if there was extra and they said it was all gone, people loved it! 5 stars!

Choosing DiMare's Pastry Shop for our wedding cake was one of the easiest and best decisions my husband and I made for our wedding day! Working with Sabrina was an absolute pleasure and she helped us define our wedding cake vision. Besides the cake being absolutely delicious and gorgeous (we went with the half tiramisu and half dark chocolate), Sabrina was so helpful and handled working with our reception venue and florist in terms of delivery and decorations. That was an immense help towards the end of the wedding planning process and we can't thank them enough!

Sabrina helped me create a beautiful wedding cake based on 3 different cakes I had seen, and the result was absolutely stunning. It was truly the centerpiece of the room - and since it was a DiMare cannoli cake, it was also DELICIOUS! Thank you!!

We chose DiMare Pastry Shop to do our wedding cake. They are always our go to for cakes and pastries, whatever the occasion. We were able to try any flavor of cake and filling you can imagine. We decided to go with chocolate and vanilla cake, with cannoli cream filling, and it was absolutely delicious. The ladies here listen to the exact design you want, and then bring it to life for your wedding day. Nothing but great things to say!

If you are looking for a vendor who will be super-communicative and fawn all over you, DiMare's is not it. However, their work is unparalleled! A classic Italian bakery experience. The cake came out beautifully and was delicious! (We did alternating layers of strawberry filling and Oreo buttercream, all with their classic sponge cake, and I still think about it.) They also did the Venetian dessert hour at our venue, which our guests STILL talk about! (One cried tears of joy!) You will need to roll yourself out of there. Go visit them in Stamford or Greenwich to try them out!

We thoroughly enjoyed working with the DiMare staff and met with Sabrina for our cake tasting several months before our wedding. The staff was friendly, welcoming and we had the absolute BEST wedding cake which we created during our tasting meeting. We are so pleased with how beautiful the tiered cake looked and was one of the most delicious cakes we have ever tasted. Would highly recommend :)

We were extremely happy with our wedding cake as well as the pastries & cookies for the tables at our reception. To begin the process we set up an appointment for a Sunday morning, after looking through their portfolio to get an idea of shape & concept. We sure didn't expect to be able to test at least 15 different flavors/fillings/cakes that morning! But they sit you down with a nice cup of coffee (plus refills), and let you take your time deciding. When we decided on a square cake, three tiers, they had one there so we were able to see the actual cake, not just a photo. The cake was perfect, and when we decided to add the pastries & cookies, the price was very reasonable. Also, right up front you'll know the cost, the difference for a switch to fondant covering, and that certainly helped with our decision process. You won't go wrong here!

The cake was amazing! We found DiMare through our venue which partners with the bakery and we could not have been happier. My wife and I had a great tasting at the Stamford location where were able to design our cake with three separate flavors and some unique aesthetics that my wife wanted. When the wedding day came, the cake matched her vision spot on and tasted incredible. Highly recommend!

We got our wedding cake for our 150-person wedding from Dimare's, and it was great. We got a strawberry shortcake, and our guests told us it was delicious (we thought so too). It also looked beautiful and simple, just how we wanted it. Finally, it was reasonably priced, and the cake tasting was easy and fun (indeed, almost overwhelming, thanks to all the options!). Highly recommended.

DiMare was the bakery that our venue worked with, and therefore was included as part of our wedding package, and all I can say is thank God. I must admit, I'm the last person to get excited for a piece of wedding cake, but I cannot say enough about how fresh and truly remarkable our cake was. We opted for a simple yellow cake with chocolate mousse, hoping that it would be light and appeal to the majority of our guests; we were not mistaken. Our friends and family all raved about it. The only thing better than how delicious the cake was, was how visually stunning it looked in the ballroom, beyond even our wildest dreams. Thank you again to the entire DiMare team for blowing us away!

DiMare's is the BEST bakery and went above and beyond to make our wedding cake perfect! Instead of having a traditional wedding cake and a separate grooms cake, we decided to do a traditional wedding cake look in the front of our cake, and a special batman themed cake in the back, and DiMare's nailed it! It came out amazing, and our guests can't stop talking about it. Sabrina is so sweet, professional and easy to work with and made the process a breeze! We will definitely be using DiMare's for all our future pastry needs.

Best cake I ever had tasted ! the cake came out perfect just as the photo I sent & the personal touches I wanted on there ! sabrina answered every email on time and even called to make sure we were on the same page ! and ribbon on the cake was the perfect color I needed for the wedding ! highly recommended !

Delicious!! DiMare's made our wedding cake and it was amazing!! Our guests still can't stop raving about how delicious it was! People don't expect wedding cakes to taste good and we loved that ours was irresistible! My now husband and I had to cut another piece before freezing the top because it was so good! Thank you!

Sabrina and Maria were both amazing to work with. They made us feel like family. My husband and I went through a few different samples with Sabrina. She helped up create my dream wedding cake. She understood everything that I wanted and was able to make a beautiful cake from a simple picture that I gave her. They decorated our cake stunningly with fresh flowers that our florist gave them. We can't wait have our cake on our year anniversary!

Sabrina was amazing! From the second I stepped into the shop she shoveled sample upon sample at me of wedding cakes. She even gave me take homes for my husband to try. This was particularly challenging because I'm gluten free and she was so accommodating. The cake came out exactly as the picture I had sent her. Everything went so smoothly, the cake was delicious, and she was a delight to work with!

We selected DiMare's Pastry Shop to take care of our wedding cake after attending another family members wedding and loving the results. What a great decision. Not only were they VERY reasonable, but the cake was stunning and tasted phenomenal. They also have a major cake tasting event a few times a year where you can pick up a 10-15% discount on your overall price when you order. We came in for our tasting with a rough idea of what we wanted and were blown away by all the different options! They patiently guided us through our choices, provided numerous samples for us and even sent us home with an entire cake just for us because they had an extra one in the kitchen from a canceled order and didn't want it to go to waste. We decided to go with a Lemon chantilly cake with wild raspberry filling and a whipped cream frosting on the outside. We only had 100 guests, and really only needed 3 tiers, but they gave us an additional 4th tier at no cost because they wanted us to have the grand look we were after within our budget. Our wedding cake had a beautiful blue ombre pattern that started off at the very base in a dark midnight blue to match our tuxedos, then it gradually faded up to white at the very top layer. We decided that rather than just freeze the top layer and wait a year, we will come back to the shop and have them make us a fresh one every year because we loved it so much. Absolutely book with them.

Prices were very reasonable, and it tasted and looked great!! We went to the semi-annual free tasting (which I HIGHLY recommend) and tasted a few more before finally picking chocolate mousse. It was delicious and looked as we had discussed.

My fiance and I met with Maria from DiMare and selected a red velvet three tier cake. It had silver embellished band around each tier and our monogram on the middle tier. The cake was moist and tasty. Our guests loved every crumb. The consult was so easy. I thought that we would be overwhelmed with flavors and frosting but not so. Maria made so easy to design our cake and it was so much better than we expected, Thanks DiMare (Stamford)

We wanted to do something different than a typical wedding cake - so we decided to have one of DiMare's pregnant cannoli after seeing it! It was a HUGH hit. They have the absolute best cannoli around, so even people that don't like cannoli loved it. It was a great non-traditonal alternative to a wedding cake that was a photo op!!

After coming to this bakery for a long time and always being amazed by their desserts, we knew we wanted Dimare to make our wedding cake in October. They did not disappoint! It was as beautiful as it was delicious, which was very! So moist and flavorful. We cannot wait to dig into the top tier for our 1 year anniversary. Sabrina was a pleasure to work with and very helpful with making decisions on flavor and style. We would not have changes a thing!

Dimare provided me with our wedding cake, as well as a personal birthday cake for a sister that was sharing her special day with us. My fiance and tried 3 other bakery shoppes before choosing on Dimare and I am SO happy with our decision. We went with a red velvet cake and cream cheese frosting, which was so delicious. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was and being that the cake was so big, we were still enjoying it the next day! The best thing about the cake, other than the taste, was the fact that it was a giant heart as opposed to a regular layered cake. In addition to the unique shape, i also wanted a particular design to match my wedding dress, which had layers and a "ribbon"effect. I sent the bakery a picture of my dress and when I saw the cake, I was astounded at how well it all matched and just fell in love with the entire look. They did a fabulous job on the look and the fact that it also tasted divine was literally the icing on the cake!

DiMare did a fabulous job with our wedding cake. While all of their cakes are delicious, we opted for cheesecake served with strawberries and it was amazing! I've been to too many weddings where the cake goes untouched at the end of the night, and I can tell you that all of the guests made room for this dessert and raved about it after! Sabrina was super nice and so easy to work with. In addition to being delicious, the cake looked gorgeous as well. Thank you for a job well done!!

My husband and I are not into cake, but for the sake of tradition we decided to serve an alternative...what DiMare created was sensational! We had a four layer cheesecake (eggnog, oreo, pumpkin, and traditional) that was so perfectly and elegantly iced in whipped cream several of the guests thought it was fake! The cake was gorgeous and so classy, not to mention the layers all tasted amazing. DiMare did a fantastic job and were great to work with from our tasting to our final masterpiece!

Di Mare's did an amazing job on our cake, they listened to everything we said, and delivered a stunning cake, with delicious flavor! We chose the canoli filling! It was raved about by all of our guests, and such a beautiful cake!! We also went to many free tasting before the wedding, which was great to figure out what type of cake we wanted. They also provided some gluten free cupcakes for the guests that were unable to have the cake. I would recommend them to anyone!

You can never go wrong with a DiMare cake for your wedding. We went to DiMare having no idea what we wanted our cake to be or what we wanted it to look like. Sabrina was so patient with us and gave us great ideas about the cake flavor and style. We ended up with a 4-tier cake with the bottom two tiers as "chocolate lobster" (devils food chocolate cake with canoli filling - to die for) and the top two as plain vanilla. It was unbelievable! I also ordered a small grooms cake and small birthday cake for two of our friends. The prices were extremely reasonable for what we ordered and it was some of the best wedding cake we had ever had. Not to mention our guests were blown away. I would highly recommend DiMare if you want a phenomenal cake for your wedding.

We used Di Mare for both our wedding and grooms cake. Both came out beautifully. The grooms cake was a surprise for my husband and they helped to make sure my husband didn't accidentally find out about it.

DiMares Pastry shop not only makes the most gorgeous cakes, they make the best tasting cakes! Tim is so creative and meticulous with his designs. The staff is helpful and treat you like family!

DiMare's is by FAR the best bakery around!! Our family has been going there for years- 30+ years! Service is always great, the cakes/pastries are phenomenal. Their "cake boss" Tim does an incredible job. The Double Temtation- chocolate mousse & cheesecake is my absolute favorite, and who doesn't love their cannoli nachos?! LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!!

DiMare's did a fantastic job on my wedding cake. I have a trifecta cake which is 3 layers of white, red, and black velvet with raspberry filing in between. I looked so cool when it was cut. It was also the moistest cake ever! Everyone raved about it! Also the decor was free handed to resemble a Cinderella castle theme. It was stunning. Highly recommend Dimare for anything. They never let down and always please! Cake testing there is a huge help too!!

We got our wedding cake and a grooms cake here for our rehearsal dinner. Both were very different but beautiful and so tastey!

I love this bakery - I grew up getting my Confirmation/Communion/Graduation cakes from here! To me there was really no other option. They are a large bakery so you need to make sure that everything is written down - exactly how you want it. We got the "Trifecta": red velvet, black velvet and white velvet with raspberry jam - it was AMAZING!! The cake was gorgeous, we were very happy!! *The cake was included with our Dolce Norwalk package - added bonus!

We loved our cake! It was included with our venue package, so not sure what it would've cost if we had to pay for it. THey are very experienced &amp; make delicious cakes!

DiMare Pastry did my wedding cake, we chose the carrot cake which tasted so amazing. It was the best tasting wedding cake I've ever had. The cake was much larger than I would have hoped and I sent a photo.

DiMare's pastry shop did an EXCELLENT job on our wedding cake! It came out better than I could ever imagine. It was so gorgeous, and everyone absolutely loved it. Not only did it look beautiful on the outside, but it tasted delicious. They were wonderful to work with, and we were beyond satisfied with the results!

We loved our cake, simple but perfect for what we wanted. The Dulce De Leche cake was delicious! We selected a simple design and then our florist sent additional flowers to the venue and DiMare decorated the cake on site and it was perfect! Everyone loved the taste and at the after party I decided to break out the rest of the cake to eat, it was so good! They also offered to make us a new top of the cake for our 1 year anniversary, we are definitely looking forward to then!

THe cake was beautiful - everythign i could have envisioned. Unfortunately, I personally didn't get a chance to taste the cake, but everyone raved about it!!

I told them what I liked and asked them to use their professional judgment to make our cake and it came out perfect! It was gorgeous and absolutely delicious! They also did the desserts for the Venetian table- amazing! Everybody loved all the treats! DiMare's is the best!

I went for a cake tasting and was disappointed in the quality of the pastries there. They seemed to be tasteless cakes with over sweetened butter creme that was used to mask lack of flavor. A lot of the samples tasted stale as well. The owner was very sweet, gave us coffee and a huge box of free take homes. I felt a little guilty not going with them, but I am glad I didn't.

I highly recommend Dimare Pastry Shop. I called 3 days before the wedding with a change in the design and they had no issues and surpassed my expectations all around. Not only did our wedding cake look gorgeous, but it tasted absolutely amazing!!!! Several of our guests said it was the BEST wedding cake they ever had :) And continued to talk about how great it was even after the wedding.

They made an amazing cheesecake for our wedding cake. When I first called, the people on the phone were not overly friendly; however, my mind was changed after our tasting. They sent us home with extra cheesecake to share with our family. I'm actually looking forward to eating our top layer on our one year wedding anniversary.

I would highly recommend this amazing family run Connecticut bakery! I was married on July 17th and DiMare pastry shop located in Riverside CT made my wedding cake. We received incredible service from the staff, we had an amazing tasting where they prepared over a dozen types of cakes and frosting. When we came back to order the cake they even gave us another slice to try and one to take home. They were friendly, patient and made sure that all of my thoughts and wishes were expressed in the cake! The cake not only looked amazing and fit in perfectly with my nautical themed wedding, but it was the best tasting cake I have ever eaten! I received compliments all evening on how incredibly delicious the chocolate cake with fudge filling was. Friends of ours at our table even at my husband my slices while we dancing because one was just not enough! The wedding was held at a yacht club and the manager of the club told us after the wedding that he had also heard from other brides and grooms that DiMare's cakes are the best in town. Another great thing about DiMare is that their cakes are very fairly priced, we had the cake of our dreams without breaking the bank! Below is the link to their shop...
