Everyone loved the cake and it turned out to be exactly how we wanted it. We decided to have a layer that was filled with fresh strawberries to be like a strawberry shortcake and e...
veryone loved it so much my husband and I never got a piece. We were very disappointed because it was the best layer in our cake! We had asked for two characters made out of fondant to be put on the side and she did a wonderful job and the detail was amazing! It was delivered on time and had no issues the day of. It was sometimes hard to get ahold of the owner in the months leading up to the wedding, but nothing major to complain about. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
I was very impressed initially because she had over 15 samples (including nearly 10 vegan samples) of cake. And, they were delicious! My non-vegan family even liked the vegan slice...
s too! But, I felt a little underassured as to the decorative elements and then I saw the cake and it did touch me, it was quite pretty. But then we tasted it and it was far more bland and dense than the sweet, homestyle pieces we tasted in sampling. It was ok.
We tasted so many cakes from so many different bakers in the greater Seattle area for our wedding and I have to say that non of them compare to Wendy's cakes! When we met her she p...
rovided us with TEN different flavors to try! Much more than the standard 4 or so that we were given at all the other places we tried. Her cakes were amazing, so flavorful and fluffy! We ended up picking a beautiful 4 tier cake and a separate sheet cake in three different flavors (black forest, red velvet, and lemon raspberry), all of which were perfect. Wendy was able to take my design vision and make it into a reality! The day of the wedding, she arrived on time and with our perfect cake! We could not have been more happy! Thanks for helping make our wedding day perfect, Wendy!
She was wonderful in person, wonderful in emails, did what we wanted. The only disappointing thing was the purple of our cake wasn't as dark as we had hoped, but in the end that di...
dn't matter at all to us. She made a gluten free top layer while the bottom two tiers were normal. The cake was delicious, the price was good, and the service was great. We loved getting to work with Wendy. She made the design of our cake exactly as we asked her and it turned out beautiful. We would ask her to make a cake for us again, in fact she does birthdays.
I thought that the best part of wedding planning was going to the the cake tasting that we got to do. I tried another cake vendor and it was absolutely horrible. But then the nex...
t weekend, we tried Kingsley's and it was wonderful. I have a sweet tooth and my husband does not, so we had to find something that would work for the both of us. And Kingsley's is definitely it. We had a 3 tiered cake with each tier being a different flavor and they were all good. The only thing that I wasn't totally happy with was the size of the cake. It seemed to be smaller than I would think to feed 125 people. It fed everyone though.
I found Wendy of Kingsley's online and was impressed with the website. I was pleased with the free cake tasting she offered at Starbucks (our fav coffee stop), and she was accommod...
ating and let us bring our parents which was really special for them to join us. It was a fun experience and many of the samples were tasty, we also looked through her many albums of her previous work. We chose a three tier round cake and were able to pick exactly what we wanted for flavors-and a different one for each tier. Wendy encouraged us to use fondant because it was a summer wedding, which I was unsure about but worked out fine. She uses a marshmallow fondant which has a superior taste to other fondant I've tried.
I have to say that her price was excellent for the value. Wendy was prompt in her responses and I only gave a general direction for the design, which turned out well enough. The cake arrived before the delivery time and was ready to go. We cut it easily and successfully, fed it to each other, and then shared with everyone else. We didn't end up eating the top tier at the wedding but took it home to eat it a week later (after our honeymoon) and it was still fresh and delicious. I like that you can have your top tier remade on your anniversary, surely better than a freezer burned year-old one, hah. I would recommend Kingsley for the value and taste.
great cakes. she was on time for the wedding. we had four different flavors in our wedding cake. it was beautiful and affordable
Our cake was not the most important thing to me while I was planning the wedding. However, the cake was amazing, we bought a 4 tier cake for 300 dollars and they delivered for 50 b...
ucks! Great flavor and it was just what we had asked for! Cant wait to order our aniversary tier from them for only 15 bucks!

Our cake turned out better than expected! It was exactly what I wanted and so pretty. I didn't want to cut into it. The fondant was so good as well as it is made with marshmello...
ws. The cake was moist and delicious and I got to use a different flavor for each layer at no additional charge. I booked them 3 weeks before the wedding and they were wonderful to work with. Pricing was GREAT also.
She made the groom's cake for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding cake. Both came out beautiful and were very good. The only issue I had was that our cake was two colors. No one s...

s delicious! I don't like cake but this one was great! We got to choose 5 different types of cake, one for each layer. The husband and wife team were great to work with! Very pleased!
I contacted Wendy about making an elegant "funfetti cake". The bride wanted funfetti, but we wanted it to look beautiful. I sent a drawing to Wendy and she created a gown cake that...
was beautiful (just like the bride: beautiful on the outside but fun on the inside). I have to say we are not a family cake lovers, so I can't really comment on the flavor. We didn't do any cake tastings, but she offers these. The cake was just what we asked for and the price was very reasonable! It was beautiful!
She traveled to a location near us to allow us to taste the cake which was delicious!!She was easy to contact and quickly resonded to calls and emails.;A month before the wedding ...
we asked to change on of the cake flavors. She agreed to do so but the cake we received was the original cake we ordered. When she learned of the mistake; however Wendy quickly offered to make up for the error.
