Dionne was a blast to work with leading up to and throughout the whole process and her level of expertise is unmatched and we're beyond pleased with how everything turned out. She made the whole process so easy for us and we really love her bubbly personality and shooting style. My husband and I wanted a photographer that wouldn't pose us but let us be more organic in photos. Little did we know how awkward we felt when taking professional photos but Dionne quickly made us feel comfortable with subtle directions that made us loosen up and be more natural. Her photography bundle/package we feel we really got our moneys worth and going with a second photographer (her assistant) we really captured every detail and beautiful moment of our special day. Her husband Craig was our DJ (silicon forest entertainment) and put on a killer performance and kept up the dance vibes all night long, which was all our guests could talk about the next day. Another big plus was that her husband Craig offers DJ services on the side through his business (silicon forest entertainment) making it even that more enticing. Needless to say the added DJ service was a huge hit, and Dionne and her assistant we also hired the services of absolutely knocked it out of the park. They captured every funny, beautiful, candid, and memorable moment throughout our special day. Having Dionne photograph our wedding was the best choice we made (other than getting married!). Not only was she a great presence to have on a very hectic day. My husband and I loved working with Dionne as our wedding photographer! Leading up to our wedding day Dionne had a calm, but energetic energy that made us feel comfortable and confident. She communicated often and was very thorough in what to expect in her emails and any information she needed from us. On the day of our wedding working with her was a breeze! A wedding photographer was one of the most important purchases of my wedding. We did a lot of research but after seeing a friends wedding captured by Dionne, no one else compared! Dionne is kind, professional and efficient. It was a pleasure to work with her. She is so personable and makes you feel comfortable from the first impression. She knows how to capture the moment without making the photos seem too posed or scripted. Each time I look back on my wedding photos , I notice something different she captured. She was actually one of the first people I reached out to when I was engaged because I knew she HAD to be the one to capture the big day. She is artsy, and fun and is down for just about anything when it comes to capturing your vision. I would give her 10 stars if I could. We hired Dionne as our wedding photographer and we were very glad we did! From the beginning of the wedding planning process, she was eager to be a part of helping our dream wedding come to fruition. Neither my husband and I consider ourselves photogenic. We were together for a little over 6 years and had probably 4 photos of us together when we got engaged. So finding a photographer we felt comfortable with was really important to both of us. It was also really important to me that I find a photographer that offered packages with an album for a keepsake. So many photographers I spoke with included rights to the photos to make your own album independently but did not offer to help design and create one for you. After receiving our photos back I am so excited to see the final album product. I know it will take up a permanent residence on our coffee table. If you’re looking for a photographer who’s fun, loves candid photos and dreamy lighting look no further. You’ve found her! Our photos look natural and so beautiful. I can truly say she gave me long lasting memories of our day!

Dionne was amazing. She actually came recommended to my husband and I through her husband, amazing DJ Craig (Silicon Forest). We used both of them for our day. I honestly cannot say enough about working with Dionne. She was very communicative from the start and easy to work with. She understood that my husband and I are not creatives or center of attention people, and directed when need be and let us be when need be. The photos are to die for. The only problem is narrowing down how many to print/order because they are all so awesome. The lighting was great. We got married in winter and she had no issues with the weather. When the day was super delayed, she went with it. We had to narrow down the photo list pre-wedding, but it never felt like it in the final product. She was in the thick of it for the dinner/dancing - even getting down on the floor in the middle of our impromptu Sweet Caroline dance circle. She ran with it when we decided to spur of the moment keep the reception open an extra hour. The photos came back to us quickly too - 36 hours for a preview, 3 weeks for a slideshow of selected photos, and 6 weeks for all the photos. We're now in the process of selecting the photos and design for the physical album - which is an amazing extra on her package that I never thought of, but now can't wait to get. My husband and I were concerned slightly about the price of all of this, but I would do it all again hands down - with Dionne (and Craig) being the first vendor(s) we select. I want Dionne to take all our photos from here on out - since we had a winter wedding, and we couldn't necessarily take advantage of Golden Hour lighting, I want her to take a random photo sess of us just for those photos because she's AMAZING!!! Her personality is wonderful, and the first thing I said upon reading her website was that I felt she was my spirit animal. And after working with her, that has just further solidified. You need to book her now.

Dionne was such a joy to work with throughout the process, from the initial consultation, the engagement photo shoot, and the big day itself. She has such a bubbly personality and true enthusiasm and passion for photography that shines through in her work. My wife and I were a little bit nervous about doing the engagement shoot, because we're not typically "center of attention" people, and the prospect of having someone spend an hour just taking pictures of us made us uncomfortable. But Dionne really put us at ease and helped us enjoy the day, had great suggestions for photos to take, and we really enjoyed the results. Likewise, on the day of the wedding she was great! Obviously part of the process is that the photographer is hanging out with you and your closest friends and family throughout the day. It's a fine line to walk to get all the photos that we want, and be a part of the day, but not be obtrusive, and Dionne did it fantastically. On the dance floor during the reception she was in the thick of things getting fantastic candid shots that really were some of our favorites. After the wedding she got us a quick preview slideshow of some of the photos within about 3 weeks, which was awesome to have so soon, and really got us excited for the full batch of photos, which did not disappoint! I couldn't recommend Dionne more highly!

After seeing pictures from another couple’s beautiful engagement shoot on the coast, we knew we had to have Dionne as our wedding photographer. When we first saw our engagement photos our jaws dropped, and we’ve been equally impressed with our sneak peek wedding photos! From hopping fences to scaling down a minor cliff to get the perfect shot, we had a blast working with Dionne, and she is truly a talented photographer. From the very beginning we never had any doubts and absolutely knew that we could count on her to perfectly capture our wedding. I fell in love with Dionne even before I saw any of her work. Her blog on "5 Ways to Rock Your Engagement Photo Shoot" really did help us rock our engagement shoot! It took me a long time to find the right photographer for my wedding and I am so thankful that I found Dionne. What I love about her work is how much texture and light she captures in the photos and how much emotion she pulls out of you and your guests. Not only did her work exceed my expectations but the process of working with her from start to finish was a breeze. I could not recommend her enough.

Dionne is a ROCKSTAR!! Not only is she an outstanding photographer, but she is an amazing person who can make even the most awkward and uncomfortable photo takers feel comfortable! You could not ask for a better photographer. I HIGHLY recommend investing in having her do your engagement and wedding photos. Having the experience of our engagement photos really helped us on our big day. It was like meeting up with an old friend opposed to a stranger. Plus she's super amazing and you will spend so much time on your wedding day with your photographer it helps to have one you actually get a long with!! And of course most importantly our photos turned out better than I could have ever dreamed. If you're on the fence about booking her for whatever reason I'm telling you she's worth it and more!!!

If you want a spunky, easy-going, fun photographer, Dionne is your gal. We had so much fun with her, by the end of everything I felt like she was a friend of ours. The pictures turned out beautiful, exceeding my expectations. Would highly recommend and would hands down hire again.

In preparation for our destination wedding on the Oregon Coast, my now-wife took the lead on generating a shortlist of photographers that we’d be interested in using as a vendor for our day-of photography needs. The shortlist ranged from more affordable options to some very expensive options that included “all of the bells and whistles” (whatever that means). While my initial inclination is always to use cost as the driving factor, there was something about Dionne’s gallery which we could not shake. After a particularly convincing conversation with my then-fiancée, we decided that while Dionne was not the most affordable option we considered, her photo galleries were our (especially my wife’s) favorites because of the emotion she was able to capture in her photos. We ultimately felt that the photos were one area we were not willing to compromise on and wanted the best for ourselves. We finally met Dionne in Portland during one of our visits and it confirmed for me that we had made the correct decision. She has a wonderful personality and clearly has been to plenty of rodeos. She was confident in helping out plan out the day in terms of timing and we felt at ease with how easy she made it all seem. Dionne helped immensely during the day and it is some of the little things that really stand out in terms of her service and dedication to our special day – for example, she helped ensure we remembered to eat a little and made sure we were spending time with our guests instead of waiting in line to get a drink. Finally, the resulting product was fantastic and better than we had hoped. The photos really captured our glowing mood that day and the surrounding beauty which was the entire reason we trekked to the Oregon Coast to get married. I am especially impressed because I am a notoriously difficult photography-subject and I can’t help myself from making ridiculous faces – through her own sheer determination, Dionne stuck with it and was able to capture some truly pleasant photos of yours truly. TLDR… I highly recommend Dionne for your wedding photography needs! You will not be disappointed.

Dionne is fun to work with and helps everything so seamlessly on your wedding day. Part of what makes her a good wedding photographer is that she is great with working with large groups of people and going with the flow. She was happy to comply with random photo request made on our wedding day. Additionally, all of our photos have turned out great. She is super busy, but she still cares about each wedding and the couple individually. The photos turned out great, she is very talented at capturing the moment in a perfect way.
