Meghan and Jim are an amazing couple, and they are so laid-back and easy to work with! After our tasting, we were so much more excited because their ice cream bars are literally some of the best we have ever had! Our guests raved about this super cool treat and we loved seeing them enjoy them all night long!

Dipsy Desserts is awesome. Owners Meghan and Jim are professional, sincere and kind - great to work with. Jim showed up with the ice cream cart early, set it up, and our guests raved about the ice cream. We highly recommend the dark chocolate dip and you can pick your toppings and drizzles. I would definitely use them again. Something fun and different that comes with a personal touch.

I’m not huge cake fan and I LOVE ice cream, so I knew I wanted some sort of ice cream at my wedding reception. I was extremely happy when I found Dipsy Desserts! They have multiple flavors (including a few dairy free) and unlimited toppings. Jim and Meghan were so kind and very quick responding to my questions. They were a HUGE hit at the wedding, and everyone loved it! I highly recommend going with dipsy dessert if you want to add something super unique and delicious to your event.

We had Dipsy ice cream bars along with Lou Malnati's pizza for our late night snack at our wedding. The ice cream bars were a huge hit!!! Everyone loved them. Meghan was great to work with. I highly recommend this unique wedding vendor!

Guests absolutely loved having the ice cream cart at the reception and it is definitely something that people say "wow this is amazing" to. It was an absolute delight working with Meghan. She was very responsive and even when we had to change our date (due to Covid) she was still there every step of the way to make sure we still got exactly what we wanted on the new date!

My husband and I wanted to give our wedding guests a unique dessert experience. Dipsy Desserts was highly recommended by our venue manager and she told us they have the best vanilla ice cream. She was not kidding! Dipsy Desserts is a fun and friendly husband/wife team. They are easy to work with, responsive and on-time! Plus their set up is simple - they just need an outlet! Our guests flocked to the cute cart for a hand dipped ice cream bar that takes seconds to make. Dipsy Desserts is a crowd pleaser (they even have dairy free ice cream)!

Super fun, cute, and delicious! We decided to bring the small Dipsy cart to our reception as an added treat and it was a big hit. Our guests really loved the different options and customization. We ended up doing pie instead of cake so the pie and ice cream was a perfect combo. Definitely a fun add on the push the day to the next level.

Hiring Dipsy was one of the easiest decisions we made during wedding planning. We originally planned on getting married with a big reception back in April. Not only did Dipsy change our date for no charge, but they also had no issues with us having a reduced guest count. (Because of COVID rules.) Meghan didn’t bat an eye at our special requests for toppings and Jim was the best attendant. The ice cream is fabulous and we hope to hire them again for a future event.

We used Dipsy Desserts for our daughters wedding reception. The guests loved the unique dessert option and adorable presentation. They offer so many customization options and it was all delicious! Made the party extra special. They were super easy to work with too!

Dipsy was such a highlight of our wedding, and the pricing (cheaper than a sweets table by far) made this a no brainer! The tasting is free (and sooo good), the setup was timely and organized, and the overall effect was completely adorable. Our guests were so excited to see a surprise being set up during dinner, so it gave people something to discuss. It was also a great diversion for guests who were a bit less interested in dancing. It was something to eat/do/scope out. Sweets tables at weddings are often such an afterthought, stocked with bland goodies that look better than they taste. As food was a top priority and area of focus for us when it came to expenses, it was so nice to have a dessert option (besides the cake) that was so high quality, tasty, and whimsical. Go for it!

Dipsy Desserts is a MUST for your wedding or event if you are a dessert lover! Meghan and James were so fun and easy to work with, incredibly responsive and the ice cream is to.die.for. Thank you Dispy for making my wedding dessert dreams come true!!!

Meghan and James are amazing! My husband and I don't really love wedding cake, so when we were planning our wedding we wanted to do something special and unique for our guests. When we found Dipsy Desserts online, we were hooked! Meghan and James were so easy to work with (kind, attentive and quick to respond) and even hosted us for a tasting in their workspace. It was so hard to choose our flavors, drizzles and toppings -- they were all incredible. Night of our wedding, our guests could not stop talking about Dipsy Desserts. The ice cream itself, the adorable ice cream cart, and the service provided onsite was perfect. Meghan and James exceeded all expectations! 5 out of 5 stars.

Dipsy Desserts was amazing in every regard! Meghan was a doll to work with and very accommodating when it came to meeting all of our ALLERGY requests (which was quite a few!). They were on time, polite, professional, fast and efficient. We went with the interactive ice cream bar dippings - guests were allowed to pick their ice cream flavor (we chose 3 flavors due to allergy needs), the dipsy dessert staff then dipped the ice cream in dark chocolate. Our guests chose what toppings they wanted (including personalized white chocolate coins) and what type of drizzle they wanted. The dipsy dessert staff decorated the ice cream bars right in front of our guests. It made for quite the entertainment! Our guests absolutely loved the experience and the ice cream and couldn't stop talking about it how cool it was! I highly recommend Dipsy Dessert and plan on using them for future events!

Meghan and James are amazing! We are so happy we went with them for our dessert on our wedding day. Not only is the ice cream amazing, but we also learned throughout this process that they are committed to making your experience easy and perfect! My wife had certain colors in mind for our sprinkles, and what may seem like a small detail, Meghan took that very seriously. I've got emails from her with colors of sprinkles that she found asking if they were the perfect shade of blue. They made sure that this was a perfect experience for us and that everything was exactly what we wanted. I cannot speak highly enough about Dipsy Desserts and would recommend them to anyone!

We found Dipsy Desserts at a local wedding fair and were floored by how tasty the ice cream bars were. We instantly wanted to find a way to get them into our wedding reception as a fun dessert option. Thankfully, Meghan was SO helpful in working with our venue to make sure they could accommodate. And then when were juggling how to offer vegan options for some of our guests, Meghan was there again helping us add that as an option to the menu. Their offerings are delicious, affordable, super flexible (ask them if you have a special request for toppings!), and more than just ice cream. The cart was ADORABLE and added so much whimsy to the space. I'd hire them again for any event and plan to as soon as possible.

we loved dipsy desserts!! they served cute little ice cream bars, served out of a really cool looking cart. best of all, the ice cream was delicious! the toppings were a fun little extra. meghan & jim were wonderful. we had a large group that kept them quite busy, yet they served everyone with joy & a smile. we had so many compliments. i even spied an adult licking his bowl clean :) ice cream - the best dessert! keep it up, best wishes to you.

Instead of a cake cutting, my wife and I wanted an ice cream tasting, and sure enough, Dipsy delivered. They met every need and want we could have asked for. They were easy to communicate with. They were responsive. They arrived on time and they came with a smile on their faces. They treated our guests well and everyone went home talking about our ice cream dessert. They even brought an extra white chocolate dip they had left over from a special order they had for a different event free of charge! I really enjoyed working with these folks and I would highly, highly recommend them for your event.

The Dipsy team (Meghan and Jim) were a delight to have at our wedding. They were extremely easy to work with throughout the planning process. WARNING: If you go for a tasting, you will hire them!! The ice cream bars were capital-d Delicious.  You could see the everyone's eyes get big when they wheeled out their cart after dinner. The guests absolutely loved the whole experience (as did my wife and me).  The bars are the perfect handheld dessert, no plates and silverware required. Highly recommend hiring them for your ceremony!

Dipsy was such a unique addition to our wedding reception dessert. The custom ice cream bars were totally adorable and delicious and our guests raved about them. We're so lucky to have had Dipsy be part of the celebration. And to top it off, Meghan and Jim (Owners) were wonderful to work with!

If you want something unique and fun at your wedding, and will have all your guests talking for months afterwards, please consider booking Dipsy Desserts! From the very beginning, husband and wife duo Meghan and Jim were very friendly, prompt and accommodating. They even showed up at our house to provide ice creams samples for my fiancé since he missed out the first time. As soon as he took a bite of the chocolate covered peice of heaven, he was sold too. :) I was very nervous because my two little nephews are a big part of my life and are allergic to all dairy. How could they miss out on this special treat at the wedding?! Thanks to Meghan and Jim, they didn’t have to...Dipsy was able to provide allergy friendly ice cream bars for them!!! I thought it was impossible. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. One of the best parts of the wedding was getting to see our family and friends’ reactions when seeing the adorable ice cream cart for the first time. Such a cool thing. Thank you Dipsy Desserts for everything, and for being (honestly) one of my favorite parts of our wedding!

My partner and I wanted something other than cake for dessert at our wedding. We discovered Dipsy Desserts at Indie Wed Fest in Chicago and contacted them for a quote the following week. Meghan replied very quickly and provided a quote and additional information. Their pricing was a little more than a wedding cake but included the unique experience for our guests to order customized ice cream treats from their vintage cart. Pricing was based on the number of guests and when our guest list turned out to be smaller than we initially expected, Meghan gladly adjusted the pricing about a month before our wedding. Around that same time, we emailed Meghan our topping choices. When it came to toppings, I knew that I wanted cookie dough as an option. In the email I mentioned that we prefer "soft cookie dough (like Culver's) over hard cookie dough (like Dairy Queen)". More on that in a moment... On the day of the wedding, James showed up early in the day to set-up the cart and worked with our venue to find an appropriate indoor location due to rain. The vintage cart was an exciting hint to our guests about the treats to come. James came back just before the end of dinner as scheduled and was up and ready to serve when we finished our first dances. Our guests enjoyed the ice cream and gave us many compliments. Meghan and James also provided a beautifully handwritten chalkboard menu board. When I went to get my ice cream bar, of course I asked for cookie dough as one of my toppings. James congratulated us and told me that when they received my email with such a specific request about the type of cookie dough, they decided to actually contact Culver's and were able to buy the exact cookie dough we wanted! Overall, working with James and Meghan was easy, the ice cream was delicious, and the experience for our guests and for us was delightful and memorable. We highly recommend Dipsy Desserts for all of your catered ice cream needs, especially if you are looking for a unique addition to your wedding!
