Dirty Rotten Scoundrels delivered above and beyond on everything my wife and I, as musicians ourselves, wanted in a wedding band. They rocked a setlist of absolute bangers catered exactly to our request, with infectious energy and pro-level skill all night. Nearly all of our wedding guests specifically complimented the band when we talked, and it showed on the dance floor. Mike, the band leader and MC, was extremely communicative and professional throughout the booking process and wedding day. We couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of our marriage. My wife and I booked Mike, Holly and the band to provide music for our ceremony and wedding reception and they knocked it out of the park. Mike was also the emcee for the night. They were very easy to work with and provide a large list of songs to curate a personalized setlist for your event. They are extremely talented musicians and had our dance floor filled all night long. We got rave reviews from all of our guests. We were able to meet them prior to our wedding at multiple gigs they had at bars and festivals, so check their calendar for upcoming events. As a wedding planner, having a strong team of vendors is critical to ensure a smooth wedding day for both the couple and their guests. It was a pleasure working with The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at The Carriage House at Lac La Belle this August. They were exactly what I would've asked for in a DJ/band if I had to make my pick of who to work with. Their professionalism and incredible talent makes them such a well-rounded group. They catered to all audiences and had a large variety of music that kept everyone engaged and bringing the energy! I hope that I have the opportunity to work with them in the future!

I can’t say enough how great the band was from our initial encounter to the wedding day. They were professional, prepared, and most importantly- fun! We have gotten so many comments from our guests about how great they were and how they were the best band that many of our guests have ever seen. They were the highlight of our reception and we will have fond memories because of them for years to come. If you are on the fence about booking a band or DJ, or don’t know which band to book - book the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels immediately! I don’t plan to have another wedding but if I do, the first call I’m making is to DRS.

We hired DRS not for a wedding, but for a private reception-type event in Madison, WI for our non-profit. We wanted live music at our event but wanted to support a local band. I thought DRS sounded great in the promotional videos on their website, so decided to reach out. Mike was easy to work with and we mainly communicated via email. He answered all my questions and was transparent about pricing and fees. The band brought everything they needed to the venue, so we didn't need to worry about handling sound, mics, etc. Plus, they were already set up and practicing before we even arrived to set up ourselves. I'm so glad I went with DRS because all of our guests had a really good time and the band sounded great. They even had a large, passionate group of people going wild on the dance floor! We also requested to make 2 announcements, and the announcements were made on time and their interactions with the crowd throughout the night were amazing. Some of the band members did not seem the warmest when our staff had a few questions for them during setup, but we figured it was due to them being busy and trying to get ready. Overall, my experience with DRS was great and we would hire them again in the future.

Highly recommend DRS! They were great to work with from the start. Mike was professional and flexible. On the day of the event they pumped the guests up. We loved the energy they brought all night. I highly recommend you take the DRS route over the traditional DJ. Our guests had such positive feedback about the band and noted that it really set it apart from other weddings. Book DRS, you won’t regret it!

Best Band Ever!!! I don't even know where to start. We couldn't have been more happy and more impressed with the amount of fun and energy this group of beautiful people put into entertaining our guests and us. We couldn't have asked for a better party at our wedding!!! A live band was my one big ask (the bride) and they delivered!! The value for what we paid was unbelievable. Mike (the main contact/manager and lead vocal + DJ) was outstanding. From the initial phone call we had with him and Holly (lead vocals - and overall badass b*tch) to the walk-through calls, advice and final day-of commitment and showmanship was more than we could have ever imagined. DRS will bring it - I promise! Not only did we utilize DRS for the live band (friggin crushed it) but they also provided audio (mics/speakers) for the ceremony and speeches and managed the music for prior to the ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, grand march, boquet throw - really just everything :) They were outstanding! Mike helped make sure our timing was good and was super helpful in working with photo/video/day-of planner.

The Band and its leader was awesome! We meet with them remotely, working with them to create a great experience was easy and relaxed. On the day We had a Blast! and the day would not have been complete without Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! If you weren’t having fun you were doing it wrong. Everyone we talked to after the big day complimented the Band and the party.

Hiring Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for our wedding was the best thing that we did for our wedding! Communication throughout the planning process was wonderful. They had a planning form, provided feedback on timeline, and helped us pick songs as needed. On wedding day, they took care of all sound needs from ceremony, microphones for speeches, cocktail hour music and reception. They were on time, prepared, and had a beautiful stage set-up. Michael (DJ Mike) helped us move the timeline along and was able to calm any nerves that we had about transitions throughout the day. Their sets were stellar. They came in and maintained such high energy the entire time. They interacted with the crowd and sounded amazing throughout the night. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last song. We loved Dirt Rotten Scoundrels! I can't imagine our reception without them.

We loved Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. They made our wedding memorable for all of our guests. We loved their large set list to allow us to pick our favorite songs. We choice them for their 90s rock songs. They were progressional throughout the planning progress, helped ensure we had a smooth ceremony, and kept the energy going throughout our reception. I would highly recommended DRS.

Mike did a fantastic job coordinating plans with us to pull off a lot of moving parts. He was able to set up his guitar and equipment on a boat for our rehearsal dinner cruise, and was playing live again at our welcome party within minutes of the boat docking. At the welcome party, he brought a second singer who sounded amazing, and the two of them played a wide variety of songs throughout the night. Mike also played live guitar for us during our ceremony, bringing a second guitarist with him so he could play the vocal Melodies to the 3 songs we requested. All of which sounded better than I could have imagined. For cocktail hour, he once again brought out the guitar and played live music for us without skipping a beat. The song selection and sound were fantastic. Once the reception started, Mike did a great job hyping up the crowd and DJing for the rest of the night, including the grand entrance and dancing. Overall, Mike exceeded all expectations and would definitely recommend!

AWESOME band! Professional and talented - we had a blast. We added the live band karaoke and our guests loved it. HIGHLY recommend them and we will be requesting them again in the future.

Mike was our DJ and bandleader for my wedding in December 2021. If I could give 10 stars, I would. We had crazy demands and he accommodated everything. The planning was impeccable. We had total control of our setlist for the ceremony, dinner, band set and DJ sets throughout the night. Mike has a great sense of what will work and is great at steering you in the right direction. Our maid of honor got sick and couldn't attend. Mike rolled with the punches and had her record an MP3 of her speech. He was able to play it crisply and clearly for everyone in the 200 or so audience to tear up to. For this alone we will be forever grateful. The ceremony and dinner went off without a hitch. Songs were perfectly timed and audio was crystal clear for our pastor and all the dinner speeches. The band ROCKED. The dance floor was bumping all night. The set with us and my friends was perfect and truly a highlight of my life. I CAN'T recommend more highly

My husband and I knew we wanted a live band to perform at our and we hired Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Mike Grassman and the entirety of the band exceeded all expectations!!! Mike worked as the DJ and emcee for our ceremony/cocktail and everything went off without a hitch. He was communicative, flexible, and all-around a pleasure to work with. The band absolutely crushed it. They sounded amazing and were full of energy. Our dance floor was packed the whole entire night (on a Sunday evening no less). Even 6 months after the wedding, our guests cannot stop raving about the band! I would HIGHLY recommend Mike and the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed!!
