Brett was so flexible with changing our wedding date (three times) due to COVID, and he was always so reassuring when communicating about updates. Both Brett and Vanessa are so laid back and fun to work with. I felt as if we were best friends even though we only met in person the day of the wedding. They did everything to make us comfortable on camera (we aren't camera people) and made sure we were always enjoying ourselves. They captured everything from our wedding day perfectly! Brett and Vanessa were literally everything-they are such a cool and down to earth couple. I was able to meet with Brett prior to the big day and he was so nice and helpful. He is very good about communicating with you, (text, call, email) as he answered every question I had and reassured me so I had nothing to worry about. They made us feel very comfortable during our wedding day and were such a pleasure to work with. The finished product was beyond amazing. We opted out for the Essentials Plus package and it was well worth every penny. The cinematography was incredible and left us speechless. Our 9:32 film was everything we hoped for and perfectly illustrated who we are as a couple. I've re-watched it over 10x and fall in love with it even more with each turn. Our friends and family also loved the video and were also blown away with it as well. One of my bridesmaids, who is also getting married wishes she booked with Brett and Vanessa, so without saying, we would 100% recommend using Dis Moi Films if you are looking to book a Videographer! At first we were hesitant on having a videographer but after our photographer unfortunately lost 20% of our photos, we are even more ecstatic that we had Brett and Vanessa. Brett and Vanessa are quite literally the most talented people I know. From filming our proposal to shooting our wedding and creating full feature films + a minute teaser for Instagram, it was absolutely the best money spent at our wedding. We have watched these films 100 times and they never get old. Though we LOVED our photographer, having these two film our day helps us relive our most special moments in full effect. Brett and Vanessa are extremely easy to work with, make you feel super comfortable, and are creative/innovative in their shots. We love them and would recommend them to anyone. We originally booked the simplest package and after a full day of filming with those two knew we would kick ourselves if we didn’t upgrade to the 30 minute film - we have never regretted it!! This review is long overdue. Brett and Vanessa did the videography for our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. I spent a lot of time watching other videos from other professionals and the thing that sets the good apart from the great truly lies in the editing. There were many others that can put stuff together but with Dis Moi Oui you will never see a shaky shot or a blurry refocus of the image in their videos. Those details are what make the video either look nice or professional. I went through all of their videos and they all are very well done. For our video we had our suggestions for them and Brett took care of it. We wanted a fun video and to especially focus on a light show we had at our wedding and in just under 5 mins they were able to show the getting ready, ceremony, speeches, pictures, and reception while giving each event of the day it’s show times. My husband and I felt very comfortable with them and the directions they gave were simple but when put together in the video they looked awesome! I would strongly recommend doing a video for a wedding because it really takes you back to the day more than pictures really could and I would recommend Dis Moi Oui to absolutely everyone. Money very well spent!

Brett and Vanessa filmed my wedding in San Diego in the fall of 2017. We opted for just the highlight video (3-5 minutes) and were so thrilled to receive it and relive the day through their lens! They captured the essence of the wedding day in such a dynamic and creative way, I really couldn't be happier. There were so many dimensions to the day and they managed to represent it so beautifully. WE LOVE OUR VIDEO!! We found Dis Moi Oui on TheKnot website, loved their funky/personable website and prices, and are SO happy with how the video turned out. We hadn't met Brett or Vanessa before our wedding day, but they arrived on time and to the right address (which we gave them only a few hours before haha oops!). Throughout the day they gave us some small directions/pointers (which we needed), but also captured all the candid moments. We cried watching our video and haven't stopped receiving complements from our friends/families on the video. Where do I even begin with Brett and Vanessa! I did more research on videographers than I did on any other vendor- mainly because I had seen one too many tacky wedding videos. We were referred to Dis Moi Oui Films through a friend who had recently used them at her wedding. She had a great review of them and after I watched her beautiful highlight video, I reached out. Not only were Brett and Vanessa very responsive to my email but they also were very persistent, which I appreciated. As a bride there was a lot of juggling going on and having them following up with me really helped out. On the day of the wedding Brett and Vanessa were beyond amazing to work with. They shot things I would never think to shoot (which is probably why I'm not in this profession), gave great direction, made us feel so comfortable, and best of all made us laugh. They were able to work side by side the photographers and showed tremendous teamwork in making sure the day was as perfect as could be. We got the highlight reel in an amount of time I didn't think was possible, and we were absolutely blown away. We read a little bit about their bios, and decided to meet them in person for our wedding. As soon as we met and chatted for a bit, we had already known that they are the people we would like to have captured our moment. Brett and Vanessa are a genuine couple whose passion in films not only show in their work, but in their personalities. They were full of ideas—whether they were thought of ahead of time, or in the spur of the moment, and our wedding party had a great time rolling with them. We can't be any happier with our wedding videos. I called Brett on a Monday asking if he could be there for our wedding on Friday and he said yes! Talk about last minute. The price was unbeatable and the experience with him was seamless. We honestly didn't notice the cameras, and all the nervous feelings about being on camera were gone once we met Brett. My husband was less that thrilled over the idea of being on camera, but he is so happy that we decided to capture our day. Brett's wife was home with their newborn so I didn't get the pleasure of meeting her, but he brought a wonderful guy to fill her spot. Just stop looking at the other overpriced videographers because these guys are seriously amazing! Honestly while getting caught up in the wedding planning I forgot about a videographer. I am so happy I found Brett and Vanessa because they documented all the little details. I was so busy that I booked them without even meeting prior to the wedding. Howver you could never tell from the video that we just met because they captured my husband and my personalities perfectly! We have family that lives on the east coast and a few weren't able to make our wedding but they were so happy they could watch our videos and they felt as if they were part of our day! They stayed the entire day from every detail at the hotel getting ready to our first look to the entire ceremony and reception. They worked amazing with our photographers to make sure we had the best photos and video. I couldn't be more thankful that they captured every little detail!

Not only that, he had it ready for us way faster than we were expected! We are so glad that we not just made the decision to have a video of (just) our ceremony, but that we worked with Dis Moi Oui films as well. Highly recommended!

Spending time with Brett and Vanessa was a true pleasure. I say 'spending time' because I just don't feel like we worked with them; we forged a relationship. Once we decided to film our wedding, we relied upon a family recommendation (Christine and Michael) and spent an hour on Facetime laughing and getting to know Brett and Vanessa. More than friendly, though, they are thorough, and above all, supremely talented. It's for this reason, I think, that they felt more like guests at our wedding--not that they were intrusive. Quite the opposite, it simply felt like they belonged there. It never felt like they were working. Once you spend time with them, you know they trust their instincts and you should too. We booked Brett & Vanessa last minute because we just could not miss out on a fantastic wedding film! I am so so glad we did. I knew I had to have them after watching their posted videos, they seemed to really capture the essence of the weddings they were at. They literally made me want to get up and dance and cry for the couple. I HAD TO HAVE IT. To say I am glad we hired them would be a huge understatement!! They were an absolute pleasure to work with and felt like they were just part of the party during the wedding. I was always worried about having videographers and having them get in the way of the party and seem to overbearing. I hardly noticed them throughout the whole day and the result they came up with is just outstanding. I have literally watched out video 100 times and I never get sick of it, they really "got us" and our friends and family. I could not be happier with the result. Stop looking and just book them!!!

Brett and Vanessa were our wedding videographer's for our wedding in Jan 2015 and we couldn't of been happier with our choice. Not only are they awesome people, they do amazing work at a more than fair price. They were very prompt and attentive throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding, they did a great job of being elusive, and when we got the final product we were both blown away. They covered everything!! I'm not too much of a cry baby, but watching the video once it was complete brought up a lot of emotions. They did a great job editing and it was just awesome! Thanks so much guys!!

I was lucky enough to have Vanessa and Brett film my wedding last September. Their talent and end product is beautiful, and they are the kindest couple to have present on your special day. There is nothing more moving than actually watching moments from your wedding day (even if you are like me and are hesitant about seeing yourself on camera!). Our video brings happy tears to my eyes every time I watch it. It let's me re-live the day, and let's me see moments that I otherwise didn't remember or didn't get to experience with my guests because the day was such a wonderful blur. They compiled a short video, a full video, and videos of the speeches. They also captured clips of guests and family members sending us well wishes. I had no idea they were doing that, and it was such a wonderful surprise to watch on video. What is also really fun and special is that some of our favorite wedding photos stemmed from their creativity while filming us. Brett and Vanessa's fun personalities encouraged our wedding party to interact, make funny faces, jump, and loosen up all together, which made for incredible video and candid photos.
