Disc Jockeys Now is out of Business All over the USA.
Sadly, tragically, after many years of helping clients save a lot of money on their DJ or videographer by holding down prices, due to a serious medical situation and other circumstances beyond our control, Disc Jockeys Now has had to cease all operations effective immediately. This announcement is an attempt to give as much notice as possible for any clients to make other arrangements. In addition an email has been sent to all clients as well.
Client access to all online planning forms expires March 1, 2023 when Disc Jockeys Now’s subscription to that service runs out. So until then, for any future events, clients can use those planning tools (There is no deadline except March 1, 2023 and the password is still the 6 first digits of the client phone number including area code) but rather than submit any forms, clients can copy and paste them to a Word doc etc for their use. Here is the link that is available for log in until 3/1/23:

Disc Jockeys Now is deeply sorry for what has happened. Deeply sorry that after so many years of helping wonderful clients and working with great DJ’s and videographers, this sudden tragic end will bring disappointment for anyone effected by this. It is simply medically and thus financially impossible to carry on the business. As soon as this occurred all sales and operations ceased immediately. Again it was very sudden, and it cannot be expressed enough the regrets for what has happened.

I see there is a group on fb for people who have been scammed by them and already there are 521 members. My membership is currently pending. Now I have to scramble to hire someone else and honestly don’t know who to trust. Not sure how to get a refund at this time but will start with my bank.

He was mixing in out request along those of our friends and adding a few that kept things going. There was a few minutes where the dance floor was almost empty but it was hot in our hall so that may have had something to do with it. But after everyone cooled off they were all right back out there. I spent most of my time visiting with my older relatives but managed to get out there and dance to a few myself. My new husband, who I adore commented that the DJ seemed to make the night for everyone.

s really nice, kinda funny and super willing to work with our limited budget. The DJ was the same. He guided us through the night and worked hand in hand with our planner to keep the night flowing. We had one hiccup when a member of the banquet staff tripped a circuit and the whole hall went dark and the music stopped. It took about 5 seconds to get the lights back on so we had a little scare but the DJ had music back up and running in about a minute. March 23, 2019 after a 3 year engagement that felt like 100! But it was so worth the wait and all. We both love country music more than anything and both of our families do too so that is what we told the manager of this company when we set all this up about 6 months in advance. The manager told us they had a big list of country songs to choose from and he was right about that! The DJ did a great job playing all our favorites and he followed our instructions all night long. We kept him over time which was only 50 dollars for an extra hour because we just weren’t ready to stop the party. It was a great party. We all had the best times ever. We wish it could have gone on even longer, but after 6 hectic hours of mostly dancing and being in our feet, it was time to go home and start the honeymoon. We loved this service, they are a good vendor to use for music at a reception and would use them again.

h. The guy they eventually sent us turned out to be great, but I think that was a lucky fluke. They did not assign us a videographer until days before the wedding. They did not return our calls. We were unable to set up our stream because we didn't know what sort of equipment the videographer would use. They are definitely the most affordable service out there, but the savings isn't worth the hassle.

I had started all my plans about 8 months in advance then we had to put everything on hold because of my dad's job change but it all worked out. We liked all our vendors including Disc Jockeys Now. Complaints were few and far between with any of them. The serving trays were a little colder than I'd like for our buffet (Those little heaters were not strong enough I guess) but not much else beyond that. I read quite a few disc jockeys now reviews and seem to agree with them as well. We were happy with our choice, my family was happy too and sometimes that takes a lot to keep them all happy. Discjockeysnow.com offered us a better deal than we expected and we definitely saved money. My mom bumped her head and that was a downer (She had to sit down for an hour)but she was OK and has a story to tell about what what to her at our wedding. We got married on June 30, 2013 which was a Sunday so we didn't have a big wild crowd but we had all the fun we could handle. My ring is AMAZING!!

s were a little disorganized; the company was a little hard to get in touch with but would always call you back. They said I’d here from the DJ a week to 10 days ahead of time, I called a little worried when I hadn’t heard from them with less than a week to go, I was told that the DJ’s offered such personal service they didn’t like to call until the week of the event so they could totally focus, this sounds perfectly viable to me & the service was great but then why worry an anxious bride by telling her they’d be in touch before they plan to be!
Pre-planning tools were excellent, full website of music & planning tools with the ability to add special requests & ceremony music.
Overall great service & I would recommend.
