Discosapian was very easy to work with when planning our wedding and we felt that pricing, given the professionalism and skills of the DJs were very fair. Huge shoutout for our wedding DJ, DJ Gibby (aka Max Kruse) specifically. Everyone had an amazing time dancing the night away! He ensured the ceremony and festivities went smoothly. We truly had so much fun as he continued to mix in great music that kept everyone on the dance floor.

We loved using Discosapien as our DJ and Photo Booth! They got in touch with us very quickly and gave us a custom quote since our venue did not use the standard time length for weddings. Our DJ was amazing at reading the dance floor and playing the songs we requested. Hire them!!

We cannot express enough how incredible Discosapien and DJ Rex were for our wedding day. Every single person at our wedding danced for three straight hours and that was solely because of Rex. We gave him 100% control and just wanted a dance party for the night and he delivered. It has been just about a month since our wedding and our guests are still talking about how great the music was.

We used discosapien for our wedding and 15/10 would recommend DJ Soup!
He was incredibly patient and professional with us. He was super helpful in guiding us in our song selections and made sure they represented us and were also appropriate for the part of the wedding.
Our ceremony site (outside) was about a 10th of a mile from the reception site, and both the ceremony and reception had in incredible sounds quality.
Throughout the night we kept getting compliments from our guests about how great the DJ was. Every time I looked over he was smiling, and his joy was truly contagious. His transitions were seamless and he knew how to keep a party going!
He also set up and seamlessly ran a Photo Booth that was a huge hit with the guests.
We had the pleasure of working with DJ Soup for our wedding, and he did an excellent job. From our initial consultation call to the day of our wedding, he made sure to understand our music preferences and curated a playlist that perfectly matched the vibe of our reception. He arrived early, ensuring everything was set up well before the event started. He got our guests on the dance floor, incorporated our must-play songs, and seamlessly worked with us to include cultural traditions in the timeline. DJ Soup was also incredibly flexible with our requests, whether it was helping with the timing of our first dance, ensuring the audio was perfect for our wedding video, or managing last-minute changes. We highly recommend Discosapien’s services!
Our guests are still RAVING about how fun our dance floor was and about how every song was "so us." When I abruptly told Rex I was ready to move into the faster dance music (after about 2 songs that eased us onto the dance floor) he was immediately on it and launched into the best wedding dance soundtrack I've ever heard. He took our favorite EDM songs and mixed them with pops of funk and rap and added some fun (and dare I say dirty) transitions to the mix as well. Our guests were dancing the whole time and we ended the night sweaty and extremely happy. I highly recommend Rex to anyone who is looking for an incredible and memorable dance floor that is completely catered towards you and your guests. Even my parents who don't know anything about EDM got on the dance floor and exclaimed how fun everything was. Thank you Rex - we loved every minute!!

Discosapien DJ'd our wedding a few weeks ago, and they were phenomenal. Rex and Trevor were just wonderful on the day of, and Rex makes the planning process leading up to your wedding date super easy and stress-free. We told him what kind of music we wanted played, and he delivered. Everyone dancing commented on the music and how good the DJ was. We were very lucky he was available for our wedding!
Choosing Discosapien for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. While planning our wedding, Rex took the time to get to know us and our musical preference and was incredibly responsive to emails.
On our wedding day, Rex arrived early to set up and ensured a seamless experience from start to finish. His ability to gauge the crowd and effortlessly transition between songs kept everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. His remixes were nothing short of exceptional and the sound quality was excellent. Rex even went out of his way to record his set so that we could go back and listen.

Archie and Discosapiens were an incredible addition to our wedding and we cannot encourage people enough to book them. What attracted us to Discosapiens was their real-time mixing of music selections (song, genre, etc) that you work with them on curating, which ultimately provides a more interactive experience for everyone involved. We really wanted to stay away from the typical wedding playlist (sorry Bruno Mars fans!) and curate a playlist that brought a diverse mix, yet high-energy list, and without a doubt - DJ Archie killed it!
Discosapiens are very pleasant to work with, and Dj Archie was extremely attentive to me and my bride on wedding day - making sure we were comfortable with timelines and what came next, asking us (quietly) if we had any tweaks or suggestions last minute, etc. We had a last minute request to shorten some dances and songs, and tweak the flow of things, and Dj Archie handled it flawlessly.
These guys are good, and definitely who I would recommend to those looking for a wedding DJ at a great price point.
We absolutely LOVED using Discosapien for our wedding. We met with our DJ Archie before hand and he was so thorough in covering all of my questions. He came across as a well seasoned pro, which definitely showed through at our wedding. His excitement and announcements kept all our guests engaged, and his music kept all my guests on the dance floor all night. We also purchased the photo booth, which all of our guests LOVED. I definitely would use Discosapien for any event I have in the future and would recommend them for any future weddings.
All staff we interacted with through Discosapien were wonderful- so helpful with our wedding planning process, professional, and responsive to all of our questions we had. Rex was ready for the evening! He was attentive and accommodating to the inevitable changes that happened through our wedding night, and conferred at important times to check in on our big moments. All in all, making sure we gave him a good plan for the night, gave him the preparedness to make it a smooth and enjoyable event. We'd hire him again.
We hired Discosapien for our After Prom party and were very happy! Great DJ (Gibby) and Photo Booth attendant as well (Blythe). The kids had a great experience! We definitely will be calling on Discosapien again next year!

Rex was amazing! We picked discosapien for their music style and he did not disappoint. We got a good mix of spanish, line dances, slow and pop for a majority of the reception along with our requested edm hour for our personal favorite music genre!! we had so much fun head banging with our family and friends! Our favorite part of the reception for sure.
Rex and Danielle did a great job asking our taste and requests and made our wedding a absolute blast! They got everyone dancing no matter the age of guests, and it was so much fun! Rex was incredible! I can't say enough good things about him. He kept the dance floor packed, the vibes high, and did an extra two hours at the end for our "after party." I would book him again and again! The haze cannons and the photobooth were also a huge hit!

We chose discosapien for our wedding because he was approved by a DJ friend of ours. I don't have the words to even describe how great the music was, they took our list of songs and mixed them together perfectly. I would give 100/5 stars if I could, everyone was on the dance floor the entire night having a blast.

Discosapiens swept in and saved the day 2.5 weeks before our wedding. We had a different company/DJ that suddenly left leaving us without entertainment literally 2.5 weeks before the big day. DJ Archie took us on and did great! We had quite an eclectic crowd, age-wise, and our wedding was on the smaller side. Many people traveled day of to be there with us, so it was important to keep the energy up. Archie delivered well! We also got the photobooth which was awesome! You could tell overall the products and services at this company are high quality. Thank you Archie and Discosapiens!
I can't in good conscience recommend Discosapien. Prior to our wedding, the communication was lackluster with us and our wedding coordinator. We were assigned our DJ 5 days before the wedding who then asked us to meet on a call 3 days before the event. We were dealing with a family emergency so asked to go over the info via email but never received questions from our assigned DJ.
3 starts because the night of the music was good, and our first dance song was correct.
But how embarrassing to have guests come up to us to point out the DJ's ripped pants and attitude that he didn't want to be there. It didn't ruin our wedding, but this was the only vendor we were unhappy with.
Working with Discosapien and Rex was one of the best investments we made for our wedding and a large part as to why we felt like our wedding was such a success! Music is a top priority for us, and Rex helped pick the perfect DJ with the same music taste as us to help us with our wedding. We had multiple guests after ask for our playlist and many more compliment the DJ for the amazing progressive house and house jams that kept people on the floor and dancing all night! Communication was easy!
Very happy with Rex at DiscoSapien. We gave him quite a task - mixing Texas country, 90’s Hip-Hop, Pop-punk, and lots of Bollywood Pop into a cohesive set. He crushed it. He mixed it all seamlessly and did a great job responding to what the crowd liked and didn’t like.
We also used the photobooth and were extremely happy with that as well.
Rex is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I cannot say enough great things about him! He kept our wedding guests on the dance floor the ENTIRE night. He took our list of song suggestions and made it into the best party and carried our vibe through the entire night. I cannot imagine anyone else in charge of such an important aspect of our wedding. You definitely want Rex as part of your wedding team!
For us, the DJ for our wedding was probably one of the top priorities for us since all we wanted out of our special day was a dance party with all of our people, and Discosapien 100% delivered this for us! We were recommended to them by our day-of-coordinators and what drew us to them was that they had samples of their mixes on their website for us to get a sense of their style and vibe. Through our next conversations with Rex, we felt like they did a lot to make sure they understood what we were looking for and how to set up the day to match our priorities. For our actual wedding, we had DJ Archie, who played all the right songs to keep our dance floor alive for 2 full hours. I got several comments from friends about how fun the music was and how the energy never slowed down. He helped keep everything moving along throughout the night, and even stood firm (and professional) when the groom's father tried to get the mic for an unplanned speech! Would definitely recommend to any brides/grooms who care about keeping a fun dance floor going.

DJ Nado was our wedding DJ and he did a great job. The music was excellent! Only hiccup was microphones during the ceremony but that can be solved with a mic check

In terms of the dance floor and music Rex was awesome! We have gotten so many compliments on how fun the dancing was and he did a phenomenal job. We did hear from a few guests that he was a little rude to them and our wedding planner specifically had a lot of difficulties working with him. I was bummed that our private last dance had guests still in the space because he started the song without waiting. Our planner said he said "they only paid me until 10:30" so did not wait for them to leave. There are so many great reviews of him and he was awesome besides the few things I mentioned so maybe he was just having an off night.

e first as many of your guests were. My job is to oversee the special events, ceremony and dances perfectly then rock the party and that’s exactly what I did. As for the last dance I did make an announcement asking for all guests to head outside for a private last dance, but no one listened to the announcement or moved, probably because most were pretty drunk by the end of the night. So on schedule at 10:30 I played your last song as planned. It sounds like everything else went perfectly from an itinerary, MC and DJing perspective which my main goal, so this review seems a bit nit picky, but that’s your choice. Best of luck to you in the future.
Discosapien is THE wedding DJ company if you want to have a good time. End of story. My partner and I had a pretty eclectic mix of genres and DJ Soup pulled it off like it was nothing. So many of my guests have told me it the most fun wedding they'd ever been to and DJ Soup is definitely a major reason.
Stop what you’re doing and book Discosapien right now! Seriously, I mean it! Rex, the owner of Discosapien, was our wedding DJ and was phenomenal. Our ceremony music was spot on, he created a great vibe with music during our cocktail hour and dinner, and he showcased his incredible talent during our reception. My husband and I have been to about three to five weddings per year for several years now (aside from 2020) and we had not experienced a DJ like Rex before. Rex kept the dance floor on fire all night until the very last song played. His song choices and transitions were unparalleled. Our family and friends of all ages were going wild on the dance floor and that credit goes to Rex. We wanted the ultimate party and Rex brought it!

Rex is a gem! He DJed our party of over 500 guests and had the whole crowd going. He is fast with his replies and extremely professional. I have worked with several DJs in the past and he is up there with the best. Thank you again for such a fun event!
DJ Archie was phenomenal. We can’t preach his praises enough, he really went above and beyond. We didn't have a wedding coordinator and he totally stepped up and made some last minute adjustments for us when the weather was a bit bonkers and our timeline changed. Would highly recommend him to anyone!

Where to even begin? To even QUESTION if Rex is the right DJ for your wedding is a huge mistake! If I could book him over and over and over again we would choose him every time! I can’t even tell you how AMAZING he made our wedding. From the ceremony music and timing, to everything that came after that, Rex was such a professional and absolutely made our wedding one to remember. The DJ was the most important thing to us (we like to party) and we 150,000% made the right decision. He listened to our requests, was always professional and communicative leading up to the day, and definitely went above and beyond for us on our special day! If I could give Rex 100 stars that still wouldn’t be enough for how many he deserves! If you want a fun, exciting, knowledgeable, caring, and overall bad ass DJ then Rex is your guy! Thank you again for such an amazing and fun night! The dance floor was PACKED the entire night and I know other weddings can’t say that! His transitions between songs were immaculate, immense organization when it came to our timeline, and always checked in to make sure we were happy. There is a special place in our hearts for Rex and wouldn’t have wanted to do this wedding with anyone else!! Choose Rex every time for your DJ needs!!!

Discosapien Weddings are the best wedding DJs OF. ALL TIME. Music is a big passion of mine and my husband and I always had a vision of what we wanted for our wedding but were always worried we wouldn't be able to find a DJ to bring it to life. But, Rex and his crew were beyond words! They had the perfect mix of music to cater to all my guests. Classics, top 100, EDM, and more. The one comment I heard most from my guests was, "I have never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding!"
They were ON IT. No mess ups, microphones all worked, sound system was great, and most importantly they genuinely listened to what we wanted as the bride and groom. They were reliable, fun, and professional. I cannot recommend them enough!

Discosapien (DJ Rex) performed at our wedding reception at the Denver Botanic Gardens and it was an unparalleled experience. From the initial playlist creation, to custom mashup and song requests, to last minute adjustments day of, Rex was responsive to all of our requests and nailed every small detail the day of. All of our guests could not stop complimenting the music and the amazing atmosphere he created: "I’ve never been to a wedding where guests stayed on the dance floor the entire night”, “His song transitions are so smooth!", “This playlist is NON-STOP incredible”. Huge shoutout to Rex, his wife, and the rest of his team for the immersive lighting setup and photobooth both of which were hits throughout the night. A 10/10 experience from start to finish. From the moment I submitted an inquiry to Rex about his services to the day-of our wedding, Discosapien was an excellent company to work with. Rex was extremely organized and communicative, acting as the liaison between his DJs and our wedding coordinator. On-site, DJ Archie was a blast with tons of hype all night while perfectly curating our soundtrack for the evening. We also did the photo-booth, which was probably the highlight of the whole night for our guests. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a fun DJ!
My husband and I are super pleased we went with Discosapien for both our ceremony and reception music. Rex was great during the booking and communicating our needs process. Our DJ was Renaldo. We gave him liberty with the play list, only requesting a few songs and he nailed it. Had a great dance playlist while also getting a few oldies in there for the older crowd. We also booked the photo booth through Rex and everyone loved it! Set up looked great and loved getting a link to all the photos after our wedding.
Our wedding day truly would not have been complete without Rex and his love for the same music as us. Leading up to the wedding, Rex provided support and feedback as to what would be the best music to kick off the day, and then based off of our song requests, he provided a twist on popular music by making it something that my husband, guests, and I would truly enjoy while also mixing in our specific requests. I told Rex that I wanted our wedding to be an absolute party, and he delivered just that. I did not leave the dance floor all night, and I would highly recommend Rex and Discosapien for all your event music needs.
Rex absolutely crushed it at our wedding. Our guests danced for an hour and a half straight and said that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. Rex took our requests and suggestions, and then used his artistic talent to mix the music. It wasn’t the usual wedding music at all but 100% nailed our vibe, our age, and kept everyone dancing. He was also so fun as an MC! So much energy! We are over the moon happy that we had him as our DJ!
Rex was wonderful! He took the time to talk about what we wanted to play during the ceremony and reception, and went above and beyond. He had everyone on the dance floor for the whole night!

We hired DJ Rex for our EDM-themed wedding on August 7th and he absolutely CRUSHED IT! There was not a single lull on the dance floor for over 3 hours. We set up the reception so that the first half catered to general wedding songs for guests of all ages, and the second half was specifically electronic music. DJ Rex listened to all our requests and executed the night flawlessly. He also MC’ed and did a great job announcing our bridal party, gathering people for speeches, etc. If you are thinking of hiring Discosapien for your wedding, just do it!! You will not regret it. Hands down best wedding DJ company out there!
Discosapiens was great. Rex was able to get us set up with Dj Archie. The whole process was very easy. Dj Archie did a phenomenal job on our wedding day and we could not be more happy!

Rex is very professional, enthusiastic and has excellent DJ skills. I was able to send him my music requests and he did a great job of working them in with some of his own selections, making it a great blend of songs we wanted and songs that were new and fun! Rex patiently worked with us to come up with a creative selection that both fit our musical tastes and the vibe we wanted for our wedding. The brainstorming session and general meeting we had with him prior to the wedding was a blast. He came with an outstanding sound system and a great energy on the day of our wedding. I’d recommend him for a wedding or any other event requiring a DJ.
DJ Rex was the best wedding DJ we could ask for! Really people only remember one main thing from weddings, the music and therefore the party. Don't cut corners. Get the best! Rex was spontaneous, fun and kept the party going. When we wanted to party on the deck, he moved the speakers outside. When we wanted to party in the reception room, he moved the speakers back. When he wanted to continue the party in the foyer, he let us blast his playlist while he packed up. He was super adaptable, took requests and read the crowd well. Not to mention he is a REAL DJ who can mash up his own unique music and play more than standard wedding stuff. We left very happy!!
Rex was exactly the kind of DJ we were looking to find for our wedding. He’s knows how to mix, blend and transition songs. He knows how to read the crowd, and kept everyone out on the dance floor all night. Most importantly, he played exactly what we wanted him to play (and didn’t play what we told him not to play). My husband and I love EDM, but we were understanding that not everyone would be into that as much. He did a great job of remixing songs that people knew but to the beats we like to dance to. He also provided an awesome photo booth that our guests loved. He traveled to Vail for our wedding, which was awesome. We had one little hiccup during the ceremony because he played the wrong version of the song I wanted to walk down the isle to, but it wasn’t that big of a deal. It was still an amazing day and I would highly recommend him!
Rex was fantastic! He DJ'd our daughter's wedding in Denver at Bigsby's Folly. He worked closely with my daughter and her fiance to insure a great evening of dancing and celebration!
Rex was the best DJ we could have asked for at our wedding. He ran all of our sound for the ceremony, reception, and dancing - all of which was done professionally and non-intrusively. He read the room well as far as dance music and played a great mix of songs that appealed to all of our guests.
Rex was extremely organized, friendly, and accommodating throughout the entire wedding planning process. He also absolutely blew us away on our wedding day. He made sure the dance floor was the place to be with all the right music. He mixed a lot of our song requests into such a fun dance party that our guests were talking about how much of a blast they had all the next day. He also made sure all of the mics were perfectly placed for our officiant, our own vows, and our friends who played the guitar and sang for a song during the ceremony. He execute the whole timeline of the night perfectly and we could not have asked for a better DJ.
Rex was great to work with! We wanted very non-traditional music with a ton of Persian songs and reggaeton for the reception. We had a lot of control over the songs which was great, because we could add in more obscure songs. He mixed everything very well, and kept the dance floor bumping! He was also right on track with keeping events flowing through the night like the father daughter dance and bouquet toss, and checked in with us just enough but not obtrusively so to make sure everything was on track. I would definitely recommend him as a wedding DJ to anyone!
DJ Chavo was amazing! He did an excellent job, we got so many compliments on the music. Our guests danced the entire night - the dance floor stayed full from the first to the last song he played. Everyone we had contact with at Discosapien was responsive, attentive, fair and thoughtful. We would definitely recommend DJ Chavo and Discosapien to anyone getting married in the Colorado area!
Rex did a stellar job with our wedding! He was prompt, he was fun, and he kept the party going the entire time. When our parents tried to intervene and create a "veto" to our do-not-play list, Rex held resolve and did not budge a millimeter.
Rex was the absolute best to work with leading up and through my wedding in June 2019.
Here are the things that immediately standout about my experience with him:
- Top notch professionalism in both his preparation and execution
- He came prepared after his diligent work with me to play what I wanted him to play (dance-party yea!) and also was accommodating and kind to my Irish friends when they made special requests for Irish dance rock.
- Unlike so many typical "DJs", Rex actually does great mixing, blending tunes one into the other as the pro he is!
- Discosapien had not performed at my venue in Colorado Springs before but no one would have ever known that. Even given challenging traffic from Denver to our venue he was on-schedule and did all the setup for the multiple services (ceremony sound/music, photobooth, etc) with perfect timing.
I fully recommend him and think that going a little farther afield out of Colorado Springs to select him was the best decision and made my entire event super special.
Everything was great! I have nothing but good things to say about DJ Archie. He was so polite and dressed very professionally. He pronounced everyone’s names right and played every special song we wanted. He even looked into obtaining aspecial song we wanted and made sure it was the correct version. I am happy to say the dance floor was never empty which allowed me and my husband have so much fun dancing with everyone. I definitely recommend to my family and friends for future occasions. I am so glad we were able to meet before the wedding because I felt he really took the time to understand what we wanted.

Rex was the DJ for our friend's wedding last summer - once we heard him, we knew we had to request him for ours as well! Rex had great communication with us and you can tell he has an enormous amount of experience. My husband and I had the pleasure of having DJ Ian as our DJ for our wedding reception in September. He was awesome! There were literally people on the dance floor all.night.long! And that is exactly what we wanted. Everything with him and Discosapien was great from start to finish, didn't have to worry about anything! Highly recommend!
Our wedding dance party was awesome thanks to Rex! Our guests just jumped right in and rocked it. No awkward moment at all. We gave him a loooong list of songs in our Spotify playlist but he gauged our party well to keep us going.
We wanted a medley for our first dance and he was very accommodating with our requests.
We availed of his uplighting, photo booth, ceremony music and music throughout our reception.
We had a long phone meeting to talk about our reception timeline and he was pretty thorough. For clueless but type A brides like me, he’s the right guy to work with.
I cannot say enough about DJ Rex. Our wedding was in July and guests are still talking about him by name. He was professional, punctual, and so much fun! Our crowd was pretty rowdy and he kept up more than we could have ever hoped. By the end of the night people were chanting “Rex” and dying for him to play more. He even sent my husband and I playlists for afterwards for us to reminisce! He was worth every penny.
We were so excited to find a Discosapien Weddings to provide the soundtrack for our Wedding Day in Estes Park, CO. Rex was AMAZING!! Being from TX and planning a wedding in CO, he made the process so seamless. Awesome from first communication to the wedding! Rex responded to my inquiry right away and gave me a ton of detail about what they offer. He also emailed me to give me pricing. We had a bit of jumping around to get to our assigned DJ since the original DJ had a family emergency and couldn't make it. We could not have asked for a better DJ. We had DJ Etchasketch (Eliot) and he was great. He sat down with us before the wedding to go over song requests and he played 99% of what we wanted! He also read the guests and played music that flowed, along with taking requests. We did have a bit of a timeline change due to my in-laws needing to leave a little earlier than we had expected and he accommodated it without issues! I highly recommend them!

DJ Rex was awesome! We were looking for a unique, non-cheesy DJ with great taste in music and Rex was it. He followed our suggestions perfectly and was able to add in additional songs based on our tastes. The dance floor was poppin' all night and we had so much fun dancing with all our guests.
