nical Garden in Belmont, NC. It was beautiful there & our pictures turned out amazing! Not only did they capture the most amazing pictures of us, but they also captured the beauty & charm of this place in those pictures! Our engagement photos were taken the beginning of February, so everything wasn't in full bloom at the garden, but it was still very pretty! We were so happy with how our engagement photos turned out that we couldn't wait to see what they were going to capture at our wedding! On our wedding day DLS and their team were everywhere capturing all the things... things we didn't even realize until we got the pictures & highlight video! DLS attention to detail went above & beyond our expectations! Their personalities were great & they made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera (the whole wedding party)! Funny story: I (the bride) had an issue with my dress the day of the wedding! My dress got snagged on the inner fabric of my dress when it was being zipped up about 30 minutes before the wedding was supposed to start. I was trying my best to stay calm & not panic, but I was struggling! All I knew was, there is pretty much a back-up plan for everything..... EXCEPT THE DRESS! One way or another we just had to get this dress zipped up & we only had 30 minutes! Amanda (1 of the photographers with DLS) & my coordinator literally stayed in the bridal suite helping me through this situation! They took turns trying to get my dress issue solved! Finally, after about 15 minutes (what seemed like forever to me) they got the dress unstuck & zipped up! Afterwards, to make me laugh & lighten the situation, they grabbed the camera to get a quick shot of the "situation"! It will be something I never forget, & now I have a funny story to tell about the one thing that went wrong that day AND a cute/funny picture to go along with it! I know it may sound weird, but it was nice having a team that was so down to earth that they helped even in a department that wasn't theirs! AND... documented the moment to lighten the mood & make everyone in the bridal suite laugh! I, as the bride, definitely appreciated more than I think Amanda knew! Brittany, Clint, & their team are amazing at what they do! I knew from the beginning I wanted to make sure we hired a great photographer and videographer! Why... the only thing you have left from your wedding day after it is over are the memories & these memories are best remembered through photographs & videos! I will say hiring a husband & wife team, well it has it's perks! They were able to show us poses instead of explain what they wanted us to do. They are not only a team at work, but also when they clock out of work... so they know each other like no one else! They communicated so well & complimented each others work like no ones business LOL I am beyond happy that we chose Brittany & Clint to capture our engagement session & our wedding day! I will hire them again the next time we need a photographer or videographer! I recommend DLS to anyone looking to hire a photographer and/or videographer! They know what they are doing & they are very responsive to email, text, and phone calls and always on time! Mark & I can't thank you enough for capturing our special moments! It truly was a pleasure working with you & your team!

r wedding turned out to produce very disappointing images from our sneak peeks. As someone that was a photographer for many years, I knew that I wanted to have something from our wedding to remember that was positive. I wanted a wall portrait and to be able to share images with my family and friends that I was proud of. That is where Brittany comes in. I was recommended to Brittany from a fellow photographer that had only wonderful things to say about her and said I would get what I wanted for photos. After looking over her work, I agreed. It was beautiful, professional and the exact look I had been wanting for photos. I contacted her and from the very first email exchange, I knew that I wanted Brittany to be my photographer. We hit it off and she was very quick to respond, and straight forward to what she offered and had many choices to choose from to fit your needs. We worked together to find a time that was great for us both as I wanted to do sunflower photos which we had a tight window of opportunity before they go to seed but she was very flexible to help make this work. She was on time for the session after driving a great distance, ready to shoot and shot until she felt like she got THE shot. I loved her creativity and was at such ease with her. It felt natural. The photos I received were breath taking and it was so hard to choose from. As a past photographer, I was used to being behind the camera and usually didn't like photos of myself. Not these, I loved them all so much that it was hard to choose just a set number of images and we are probably going to buy a few more! These photos made up for the terrible job my previous photographer did and I can't wait to get my wall portrait printed! Choose Brittany, she is kind, professional, takes her work seriously, loves what she does, is creative, personable and just an amazingly wonderful person. You can trust her with your big moments. I wished I knew about her for my wedding day, but she had redeemed our faith in finding a professional photographer. Thank you Brittany!
