I have worked with Lucretia for years and her professionalism and love for weddings shines through in every event that she plans. She is able to plan not only beautiful events, bu...
t well executed events that go off without a hitch. And if there would ever happen to be a hitch, she is able to think on her feet and handle any unforeseen issues. I always look forward to working with Team DEP and I am excited about many more events to come!
Distinct Event Planning was a great way to go for our wedding. Lucretia and her team helped us prepare for our special day with just roughly 6 months to plan. The day was absolutel...

In the midst of starting a new job, my husband starting a new job, buying a home AND planning a wedding...I would've lost my marbles if I didn't hire Distinct Event Planning. We se...
lected the full package that included design & decor, planning & execution. I had a vision, but Lucretia and her team brought it to life. There were times where I was stressed in other areas, but my wedding was one area that was extremely STRESS FREE from planning to the moment I left the venue. She was professional, prompt, creative, responsive, flexible and HILARIOUS. She knew just the right vendors to reach out to that fit my style, & budget~~and I received top notch service from ALL. Because I work in the event management field of a major hotel chain, I have an eye for detail, and I'll admit my standards are high, but Distinct Event Planning exceeded my expectations.
Some of my favorite responses from my guests were:
"I had so much fun! The wedding was well executed and classy"
"The food selections were the best I ever had at a wedding"
"Who did the design work?! It was GOREGEOUS"
For future brides who are on the fence of hiring a planner...DO IT...or at least schedule a free consultation! You will save yourself time, energy and MONEY. There are a lot of details that could've been forgotten, but weren't. Months after the wedding, I look back on my special day and have no regrets because it was perfect & worth the money spent.

Before hiring Lucretia Williams to plan our wedding, I was overwhelmed because there were so many decisions to make, and so many wedding vendors to choose to make our day special. ...
From the day I hired her, I received a piece of mind. I was able to enjoy the planning process more knowing that I had Lucretia to handle all of the details. As a result, I saved a lot of time and money. My friends and family were able to enjoy the wedding without acting as hosts, especially my mom. Lucretia and her team basically set everything up and all James and I had to do was show up to the wedding. My advice for those thinking of hiring Lucretia would be to HIRE HER, she’s absolutely amazing! She is passionate about her work, and takes pride in making sure your day will turn out perfect. The year and a half I worked with her she was always there when I needed her even with a personal issue that had nothing to do with wedding planning. I Love Lucretia and her DEP team! You won’t regret letting them help you plan your day. :-)
Lucretia and her team were absolutely phenomenal to work with! From the first day we met her, we knew that our vision would be fully executed. Not only our vision, but Lucretia has...
a wealth of knowledge regarding decor and has a vast list of extremely talented vendors to work with. She is extremely professional, courteous, friendly, and has dynamic time management skills. Not only would I refer Lucretia to other friends and family, I would use her services again for my next big event. Just absolutely wonderful!

our magical day happen. I wasn't one to give up control but as the time grew closer and a million things still needing to be done, Lucretia just stepped in, she was the reminder, the mediator and the executer of all. Our wedding day was more than we could have imagined thanks to her and her team. The day of the wedding we were able to sit back enjoy and be thankful she was on the job!
Before hiring Lucretia Williams to plan our wedding, I was completely clueless! My mother and I were trying to convince ourselves that we could plan a wedding. Slowly but surely we...
came to the realization that planning a wedding on our own wasn’t going to work. I felt relief from the services I received. With our personal lives we didn’t have the time to cater to the specific details that a wedding entailed. During a stressful time in my life Lucretia was truly a blessing! As a result of her services, I saved my time, money and energy. Everybody enjoyed themselves and were able to relax. Also, she referred me to AMAZING vendors that are great at what they do. The day of the wedding, Lucretia and her team came prepared to help with any malfunctions that we had. My advice for those thinking of hiring Lucretia and her team...There is not much advice to give, be prepared to enjoy being a bride without the stress. She made preparing for a wedding an enjoyable experience!

as PERFECTLY ‘EASY’ :) Lucretia was very attentive to our wants & needs to ensure a PERFECT day. She made sure we didn’t lose sight of our personalities & what we wanted leave as a wedding day memory to our guest. If there was a desire of our hearts that didn’t fit the budget, Lucretia found a way to make it fit; due to Lucretia’s plethora of knowledge and resources, it not only helped us save money but precious time as well. There was no time wasted in getting what we wanted at a price that was right for our budget. Her proven relationships with some of the best vendors in town was like the cherry on top to planning our wedding. Lucretia has a good read, not only on the bride but the groom as well (so ladies be sure to take him to at least 2 of the meetings). Lucretia goes the extra mile to ease the uneasiness that comes with planning a wedding.
We love that Lucretia and Team DEP are making a good name for themselves. You are guaranteed to have a timely ceremony and reception as well as a stress free day. All we thought about were each other, Lucretia and her team did the rest! The day was so perfect I would do it all over again. Dreams do come true with Distinct Event Planning :)

re extremely friendly, professional, detail-oriented and very knowledgeable about the best local vendors for our budget. Not only that, Lucretia helped communicate our wedding vision to each of our key vendors and she even helped us win a $2,150 credit toward our reception and cake! She also helped us stay on budget and re-examine it when we needed to. Plus, Lucretia was excellent when it came to coordinating our rehearsal and actual wedding day! We were able to relax and not worry about the details, knowing how committed she was to making our day perfect! For anyone thinking of hiring the Distinct Event Planning team, we say go for it!
