Our wedding flowers were absolutely stunning thanks to Anne and her team! I booked Anne very early-on in my wedding planning process and we sat down and planned out what I wanted for the floral designs. As I continued on in my planning, I wanted to make changes to our original plan and so we had another meeting and walked through everything again, making all my changes. She was easy to work with and provided her expertise and eye for floral design. Both her and my vision came to life and I could not be happier with all the florals!

We loved working with Anne at Distinct Floral! First off, from the moment we started working with her, she was organized and responsive. She came up with a proposal after our first call and then continuously updated the proposal based on our conversations in the months leading up to the wedding. She was super flexible and incredibly helpful as we created our vision for the wedding. We got the chance to meet Anne about a month and a half before our wedding for an in-person walkthrough. It was great to get to meet her to walk through details and the meeting gave me so much peace of mind on what we expect day of, both from the schedule standpoint and the actual florals themselves. Finally, we were blown away by our florals day of the wedding. My bouquet was absolutely beautiful and my bridesmaids bouquets were slightly smaller (as requested) but equally well crafted and beautiful. We also decided on simple greenery and white flowers for the guest tables and Anne executed the vision perfectly! Anne also provided a flat lay box day-of for detail photos which was unexpected and incredibly kind. We would work with Anne and Distinct Florals again in a heartbeat and would recommend her to anyone who asks!

Anne is THE florist you want on your wedding day! Anne is patient, ORGANIZED, and talented. She guided me through choosing my wedding flowers and even met with me in person to make sure it matched our color scheme. Our floral arrangements came out better than I could’ve ever imagined. Anne is so talented. She is incredibly knowledgeable about florals and arrangements and simply phenomenal at what she does. She worked with a few of my friends for their weddings before mine and I was pretty much sold after seeing one of her detailed and aesthetically pleasing proposals but then I actually chatted with her. She prefers to meet in person which means you get to actually see some flowers she’s thinking of using and it’s an all around amazing experience. She is so communicative leading up to the wedding and willing to work with your budget. Day of, her staff apparent hit a few snags which they handled professionally with my venue coordinator so I didn’t even know about them until after the wedding. Our bouquets and arrangements were stunning. Above and beyond my expectations. Anne is so sweet and you can tell she takes great pride in her work and genuinely cares about the part she plays in your big day. I would hire Distinct Florals again in a second if I had to plan it all again.

Anne is THE florist you want for your special day. From the beginning, Anne was great at communicating with us on what we want and what she can do for us. She was able to include certain flowers we had asked for and knew exactly what other flowers would look good with them. She was also very good at making certain adjustments for us whether that be the number of centerpieces, the color of ribbon around boutonnieres, or the length of roping needed for our sweetheart table. Not only was everything leading up to the day amazing, but Anne and her team worked hard to make sure everything was perfectly set up the day of the wedding. On any normal day, they know what they're doing, but throw an obstacle their way, like a hurricane with very fast gusts of wind, and they still know exactly what to do to set up and protect all the flowers and arrangements. They waited to set things up until closer to the ceremony so the wind wouldn't ruin the flowers, but even with the wind, everything still looked amazing, which really speaks to the quality of their work. They were also very helpful setting up candles we had left on the tables around the roping centerpieces. Unlike the flowers, we were so blown away by how everything turned out and transformed our venue into such a dream come true. I even loved my bouquet so much that I sent it away to get preserved because I want to be able to look at it for years to come. DFD was truly one of our favorite vendors and we would highly recommend them to anyone who wants their day to be just that much more special.

I can't say enough amazing things about Anne and her team at Distinct Floral Designs! She goes above and beyond with communication, organization, and personalization and made me feel so at ease through the planning process. I don't have an eye for design (at all) so I just talked through what I thought I wanted and Anne NAILED it! We had a fantastic experience working with Anne for our floral designs on our wedding day. She helped us design and build our vision and color theme and it was even more beautiful than I expected. Anne was amazing! We found Anne while she was at a wedding expo and fell in love with her work. She was able to squeeze us in a couple months prior to the big day and worked with us to get delivery and set up at the venue. She was quick to respond and created a beautiful arbor piece for us! On the day of the wedding there was a huge storm prior to the ceremony (Literal tree branches were falling down) but the arbor piece held strong!

Anne made the process of getting flowers for my wedding one of the least stressful and enjoyable parts of the planning process. Her process is clear and makes every aspect of what needs to be considered accessible. Not only that, but she heard our likes and dislikes for appearance and colors and was clear about what flowers would work and what wouldn't. Not to be totally cliché but I can't recommend her enough.

When planning for my wedding (July 2023) I wanted a florist that could bring my vision to life, without “breaking the bank”. After lots of research, I discovered Distinct Floral Designs by Anne Marshall. I loved all of her work featured on her instagram. Anne was extremely helpful when I initially inquired. I sent her a “vision board”. We also had an hour long consultation, in which she spent a lot of time discussing which flowers I liked or didn’t like. She drafted a proposal which was extremely detailed and thorough. This helped me to make sure we were on the same visual track. The proposal also helped me (and my now husband), decide which florals were “important” to us, and which ones we decided to forego. We discussed our budget with Anne and she was extremely conscious and respectful of that. We never once felt pressured to add extras and spend more money. I knew that we would want an arbor, and Anne suggested repurposing one of the floral cages from the arbor as the florals for our sweetheart table. Each time I spoke to Anne, I could tell how passionate she was about her job. On the day of our wedding, we were absolutely blown away with how BEAUTIFUL all of our flowers were. From bouquets, to center pieces, to the arbor, everything was PERFECT. The team and Anne at Distinct Floral Designs are incredible, we cannot thank them enough for helping make our day amazing!

I absolutely loved the flowers Anne made for my wedding and even more I loved working with Anne! Anne is super kind and patient beyond being incredibly talented and knowledgeable which makes her the perfect partner to carry out your wedding flower vision. I personally don't know a lot of flower names or terms but Anne asked me all the right questions and gave really helpful suggestions to help me describe exactly what I wanted. Anne is so talented! I LOVED my bouquet and all of my florals. I got so many compliments on all of the bouquets. Anne was the first florist we met and after meeting her, we knew we could stop looking. She looked at my inspiration photos and made suggestions based on her decades of experience. I loved her proposal format which documented each item (bouquet, ceremony, reception, bouts, etc.) and what florals made up each of them. Our venue didn't need much in terms of design/decor so we went with minimal florals - greenery with some flowers and candles for centerpieces. We didn't want to spend too much on flowers and Anne's prices were extremely reasonable.

Anne is AMAZING. While we do not know a lot about flowers, she managed to take our thoughts and create the absolute perfect arrangements. From the entryway, to the bouquets, to the centerpieces, everything actually exceeded our expectations. It was top shelf elegance and beauty. I can't even express how perfect the room looked and the bouquets were. We were totally blown away. From the first time I talked to Anne, she was warm and attentive. I can’t say enough good things about the job Anne and her team did with the flowers at our wedding. She took our budget into consideration and created a plan that fit perfectly within our venue. Out of all of the quotes we received, hers was the most detailed by far, telling us exactly what we were going to get on the wedding day. We had a few difficult arrangements to set up, but she didn’t hesitate to be in contact with the venue in coordination for getting things set up. Anne was so easy to work with and obviously very knowledgeable about flowers and arrangements. Our consultation was really helpful as she showed us different options and determined a color palette, but the portal she put together was incredibly helpful. She listed all of the flowers, greenery, ribbons, vases, etc for each piece, as well as the cost. It was very easy to envision how everything would come together. Anne graciously included a lay-flat box for our photographer to use for photos of our invitation, and everything looked absolutely stunning. We received so many compliments on our flowers, especially our table centerpieces, including from guests who specifically stated that they don’t ordinarily notice or care about flowers, so that to us was a sign of really exceptional work. Anne made the whole process super easy, and we’re really grateful to have found her as our florist. You really cannot go wrong if you hire her for your event.

Anne Marshall is the best. We didn't have a very detailed vision for wedding florals, all we knew was we liked the late fall vibe and something a little boho. We knew we only wanted personals for florals, and Anne was so nice about helping us coordinate colors with the bridesmaids and groomsmen, creating a beautiful nosegay bouquet for my mother in law, and only a month before the wedding she was able to add corsages for grandmothers to the order. On our wedding day the florals arrived early and were STUNNING. Anne's creations were beyond perfect and I am so thrilled she was part of our wedding day. When starting the process to find the right florist for my daughter's wedding, I asked a friend who is a wedding & events planner, who her favorite florist is to work with. Upon meeting Anne, we immediately knew we had the perfect florist for my daughter's wedding. Anne's warm, kind and calm nature along with her attentiveness to my daughter's wedding vision was evident as she took time to listen and then show us a variety of floral options for both color and texture. We had a set floral budget and Anne and her incredible team were able to "repurpose" some of the floral arrangements from the ceremony site outside to the reception site inside; keeping us within our budget. Anne literally brought my floral dreams to life! The florals were hands-down one of my absolute favorite things from the wedding. Anne was also great to work with and was able to help me create my vision, which ultimately turned out even better than I could imagine! Anne also put together a special box specifically for the details/flat lay shoot, which was SO nice because my photographer said she's never seen a florist do this before.

You need to work with Anne Marshall and Distinct Floral Designs. It's only been a month since our wedding, but I’m already dreaming of a planning a vow renewal so I can work with Anne again. She is a master of her craft, and she and her team will create the most beautiful, perfect, elegant floral arrangements you could dream of. I had a loose vision of what I wanted, and Anne brought it to life. During my first meeting with her at her beautiful studio, she was able to provide real examples of what different flowers look like, provided suggestions, and was flexible with changes to the flowers. We incorporated flowers I had never heard of before, but now can’t imagine not having. Throughout planning, she was quick with responses, and had an online portal that was immediately updated with any changes. The one thing I knew I wanted was a wooden hexagon arbor, but I had started to resign myself that I would have to forego it unless I built it. When I mentioned it to Anne, she responded with a casual “Oh, I have that!” Incredible. From the decorated hexagon arbor as the centerpiece to our ceremony, to my perfect cascade bouquet to mimic the waterfall next to our ceremony site, to the wedding party’s bouquets and boutonnieres, the personal flowers could not have been more beautiful. The centerpieces were amazing – I had a unique style of vase and figured each could only accommodate one or two stems. Each vase had its own unique arrangement, and it was only after the wedding when I saw them all together, just how individually special each was. Anne enlisted the help of her husband, an arborist, to find tree branches to wrap with fairy lights for the venue’s tent poles. This added component was so magical, and brought such a beautiful aspect of the outdoors “in”. Anne is such a warm, inviting person, is so lovely to work with, and transformed my vision into reality. Thank you, Anne, for adding so much beauty to our day – we were so lucky and fortunate to have been able to work with you!

Wow! I don't even know where to begin! Anne absolutely took my vision and made every part of it come true with my florals for my recent wedding on 8.18! The flowers were exactly what I was hoping for and more! They were my absolute favorite part of my wedding. She nailed my bouquet - it was GORGEOUS! From my daughter’s exquisite bridal bouquet to lovely aisle markers, to flowers on the birch arbor, to the “show stopping” table arrangements, Anne selected just the right flowers and greenery and candles for table lighting, that made the wedding reception breathtaking. During the process of working with Anne, she was always available by email and phone, responded quickly, provided answers and feedback, and guided me with the many floral decisions that needed to be made. After our initial meeting in person, Anne provided a “wedding proposal” and an online portal that was updated each time we added or changed any aspect of the flowers. This helped with keeping within our flower budget and allowed us to visualize the flowers before the actual wedding. On the wedding day itself, Anne and her team worked tirelessly and every single flower arrangement, bouquet, boutonniere, corsage, etc. was magnificent. My husband and I were awed by the beauty that Anne brought to my daughter’s wedding day. If you want “worry free” floral designs for your special occasion, I highly, highly recommend Anne. She made my daughter’s wedding day perfect with her knowledge and skills!

From the moment my mom and I met Anne, we knew she was the right choice for my wedding. She listened to what I wanted and was excited in what I explaining to her. Anne Marshall and her team are absolutely amazing. We switched venues once due to COVID-19, and had to change a bunch of our florals. Throughout the entire planning process, Anne was so quick to respond to our questions and concerns. She even let us come see the flowers in person during the planning process to help us decide what direction we wanted to go in for our greenery! Anne was wonderful to work with! I ended up only needing bouquets and flower girl petals from Distinct Floral Designs because much of my venue was already decorated. She called me initially and asked great questions about what type of flowers/greenery I envisioned for the bouquets -- I don't know a lot about flowers and she was very helpful with explaining the different types and giving her suggestions. Anne was absolutely amazing! She was on the preferred list of vendors at our venue in Berwick, Maine so I went to meet with her and it the easiest decision to make to go with her! She is so friendly, professional and easy to work with. We had postponed our wedding once and she was there every step of the way. She showed me multiple examples of different types of flowers and showed me different picture ideas from weddings she has done before. She is very knowledgeable. Everything she does is absolutely beautiful and breath taking so you really never go wrong! I was so in love with my bouquet and the bridesmaid bouquets when she came to to the hotel with them- it was exactly what I envisioned! Anne is amazing!! Everyone commented on how beautiful our flowers were. She was so patient with all my questions and changes. She responded to me quickly and was a pleasure to talk to. Before the wedding we were in constant communication and then we we met she showed me all of my options as well as some of the flowers in person so I could get a good idea of what they would look like all together. She worked with me with design changes, helped me stay on my budget, was fine with a date change , and even did extra things for me just to make my life less stressful and for that I SO appreciate her. Everyone was talking about them and there was lots of talk about what the flowers were called (especially the ones that look like a coral reef), but they were all just lovely. Beautiful color combinations and arrangements. The corsages were also lovely, special flowers in each, so very pretty. Ann was very kind and so easy to work with. We worked with Anne for our wedding and she was gracious enough to take us on super last minute ahead of our big day. I was blown away by Anne's work! She is a joy to work with and was by far our favorite vendor. It's not every day you get to work with a person who is just pleasure to work with! She made our visions come true. After getting so man emails from vendors saying they could not work with our budget or saying our budget could only cover hydrangeas and roses, Anne somehow fit EVERY flower type we wanted into our budget and had even more ideas for additional types. Her creativity is evident in her work and you can tell she loves what she does. If I could do our wedding over, there is not a single thing I would change about our florals!

Anne and her team are all you need for your wedding flower needs. Anne is the sweetest person you will ever meet and a brilliant florist. Going into my wedding I was not really sure what exactly I wanted, I had a wide range of photos that did not really have any similarities I sent to her as a reference. She worked her magic and the end results were breath taking. She made bouquets for myself and my 6 bridesmaids, small pieces for my mother and mother-in-law, as well as grandparents. The groom and other men's boutonniere's were stunning. The giant piece she made for our arbor was out of this world. Our center pieces were brilliant and all anyone could talk about. Look no further for the best florist around! I dont even know where to being! We booked with Anne for our wedding on 9/19/21 and she far exceeded my expectations! To start, Anne was friendly, professional, and responsive throughout the whole planning process. She was always willing to make any changes to our floral designs, even at the very last minute when I wanted to add some extra flowers to our arrangements. Anne was so nice and patient with every interaction we had. As for actual work on the wedding day - WOW! Having beautiful floral arrangements for our wedding was one of the most important things to me, and Anne made that a reality for us! My jaw literally dropped when I saw the breathtaking bouquet she made for me!! It was one of the highlights of the day for me. Anne was a pleasure to work with, she took my inspiration photos and ideas and brought them to life and more! She exceeded my expectations as she brought expert recommendations to the table just based off of my wedding colors and personality. She was very responsive each time I reached out with a question or change which was great as I pulled my wedding together in just 6 weeks time! On the day of the delivery was seamless, nothing was missing, everything was in water to keep them fresh and she even delivered them with a towel to dry off the stems when it was time to head to my ceremony.

Anne was super sweet and her studio is so cute! I told Anne what I wanted for a look and she definitely delivered on my vision! Everything was exactly as we talked about and it looked amazing. Anne is absolutely incredible at what she does! I was originally a 2020 bride, but covid changed that. We had a small wedding with immediate family in 2020 and Anne went above and beyond to make sure we had flowers for that ceremony (they were exactly what I wanted and it was a “sneak peak” into the flowers for our big wedding). Our big wedding was 9/17/21 and Anne did not disappoint. Everything we had talked about in the pre wedding meeting was brought to life the day of the wedding.
