azing job of organizing and coordinating my wedding day. We met periodically throughout my planning period (4 months) and Crystal lended vendor recommendations for design, venue, hair, and makeup. Crystal was extremely professional, transparent, and her 10+ years in the business was very apparent as she calmed me down during the last 2 weeks of crunch time before my wedding. She navigated venue changes 2 weeks before my wedding, managed all of my vendors with grace and professionalism. She ensured my entire wedding party was prepared, rehearsal went swimmingly. All aspects of her responsibilities were met 100%.
Ultimately, I didn’t have to think about ANYTHING but my handsome groom and enjoying myself on the day of my wedding. The Distinction team made it all possible!

I had been working with Crystal for over 2 years due to postponements, so we saw it all together (COVID, venues shutdown, babies, you name it & we went through it together!) Crystal, Felia, and Lacie were all there for me and my husband the day of our wedding, and Crystal especially took good care of us that day and the days prior. planning my wedding for about 2 years (postponed due to COVID). Chronic tardiness to EVERYTHING, in person and virtual. Forgetting about zoom meetings when she failed to show up in person to meetings like ALL of my dress fittings. TERRIBLE communication! Once, I mentioned to her communication was an issue she told me she can take up to 48 hours to respond and she is “off” Fri-Mon. If you have a complaint she will pacify for the time being and immediately go back to how it was. There is no adapting to the needs of the client! I knew I wanted a great DJ, the one I had booked for 2 years, double booked and I found out 2 days before the wedding. I assume there was no follow up with the DJ to ensure what I wanted played would be played and that the “vibe” was right. The day of my wedding I was no happy with the DJ. As my planner, she should have been my advocate, I relay to her what I want and she makes sure my vendors deliver that but that DID NOT HAPPEN! Things she was supposed to work on and provide she tried to pawn off on another vendor thus, increasing the price I would have to pay them. I asked for things repeatedly like, a meeting with the DJ to discuss music genres and what we wanted in general she will say okay and then NEVER deliver. She went on maternity leave sooner than expected and for months prior I asked to meet the replacement so that I knew our styles meshed she said okay every meeting and it NEVER happened. Then BAM! Surprise email that she was on leave and here is my new planner—who never returned or answered my emails or texts to the point I had to email Crystal and tell her I refuse to continue to work with him! There truly is so much I cant even put it all in a review!
On the day of the wedding I barely saw her. She stated they would be there for whatever Jarett and I needed, NOT TRUE! We shouldn’t have been waiting in lines for drinks or going to look for hair brushes during the reception etc, but WE WERE instead of enjoying our day because our planner was no where to be found! My husband who is virtually silent on these types of things said she is so lazy and was even disappointed. A vendor working the wedding even noticed she was hardly present! It really was disappointing! PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT choose this place.
