District Remix

tely understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors. He didn't just play music, he helped create the energy and memories that made the night unforgettable. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

like the best based on the music we were looking for at our wedding. DJ Don Hood was amazing! Jason made a perfect match. Don was so easy to work with and walks you through the whole process! He was helpful with making a timeline for the evening of and listened to all our music requests. Don was very professional and great with communication during the planning process. He helps put you at ease! Everyone was on the dance floor all night long and were saying how amazing the music was! I can't recommend District Remix enough!!! DJ Don was great!!

le and easy to work with. They are very responsive via email and phone. They went out of their way to accommodate us and asked us what we wanted and needed for our big day. After just one phone call, they then matched us with DJ Michael Ramos and the match could not have been more perfect. DJ Michael Ramos was fantastic. He made the planning process so fun and easy. We honestly didn’t even have to give him that many specific directions. Just from having a few conversations with us, he learned us and our “vibe” and ran with things from there. The night of our wedding was so lively and energetic and everybody had a great time, thanks to DJ Michael Ramos. He read the room incredibly well, all night long. Once the dancing and partying started, it didn’t stop. He also did incredibly well with helping with speeches and intros and transitions, etc. His equipment was top notch as well. We got so many compliments and people asked us to share his info with them so they could use him for their own events. We cannot thank DJ Michael Ramos enough or give him a high enough rating.

makes a huge difference. Everyone keeps commenting on how I, the bride, didn't leave the dance floor and a huge part of that is thanks to him. We highly recommend working with him!

st importantly, had the dance floor packed for the entire night. We received SO many compliments on the music and how he felt the energy of the room and knew just what song to play. He took our vision/playlist/vibe and made it 100X better. It was the most fun night, and he played a major role! He also confidently helped us to create the perfect ceremony (a/v wise) and set the tone for the whole event, acting as MC. Thank you thank you!!

f music and vibe we were looking for. He was so professional and worked with us through venue and other detail changes throughout. On the day of, he did an amazing job mixing in our "must plays" and adding in songs that matched perfectly. He checked in with us throughout to make sure we were enjoying ourselves! Couldn't recommend him and this company enough!

invested in helping us create the best day possible. He was organized, prepared, communicative, and excited to be part of our celebration from start to finish. Throughout the entire wedding day, Don followed all of our notes and instructions carefully and made sure every song and announcement happened exactly when and how we wanted. He announced everything clearly and timely, kept the flow of the evening running smoothly, and was always attentive to the energy of the room. As a DJ, he was incredible. He played all the songs we wanted while also reading the crowd perfectly and keeping the dance floor packed all night long. He really knew how to match the vibe and keep the energy up throughout the evening. We received so many compliments from our guests about the music and atmosphere. His knowledge of music and ability to read a crowd is incredible, and we felt so confident trusting him with such an important part of our day. Throughout the planning process, Ross was always quick to respond to any questions we had and was so easy to work with. One thing we especially appreciated was how he customized our first dance song, he seamlessly edited it so we could include all the parts we loved without it feeling too long. It was perfect. e was and how much fun everyone had. Jacob has a way of mixing in my Daughter's country and my Son-in-Law's Rock while keeping the entire floor dancing. That is truly a gift!!!! The next day after the wedding my Son-in-Law was loading his car and the hotel was telling him about this wedding that happened last night and that the energy on the dance floor and the DJ were the best they had seen. My Son-in-Law said that was my wedding and it was a great time. Thank you, Jacob, for making my Daughter's Wedding an amazing day!

r, and he completely understood the vibes we were going for and ran with it, working in everything from Irish folk songs to KPop Demon Hunters to Bruce Springsteen. So many guests told us the music felt just like “us” and commented on what a great DJ Michael was. As the bride, I even postponed changing into my “late night” dress because I wanted to spend more time on the dance floor! I absolutely recommend hiring District Remix and Michael in particular - you won’t regret it!

!! He read the room and made the ambiance so fun. We didn’t want the night to end. District Remix and Don were so responsive and helpful throughout the whole planning process. Don was so patient and accommodating with last minute changes! We couldn’t recommend Don and District Remix enough.

ration playlist for each part of the day but trusted him to do his thing and I’m so glad we did! During the wedding, he managed the sound and music for our outdoor ceremony perfectly. He checked in a few times to make sure we were happy with cocktail hour and dinner music, working with our photographer to keep us updated on the timeline. He adjusted the volume during dinner when he could tell one table near the speakers was getting a bit too much of the sound. He read the room and kept the dance floor full. Our photographer recommended uplighting for the reception space and District Remix provided that perfectly. It made a really fun vibe for the party. We were thrilled with District Remix and DJ Michael and would recommend him to anyone!

the dance floor!

but let them take the lead on the actual song choices and they did not disappoint. The amount of people who danced until we finally had to shut it down really speaks for itself. Highly recommend and would absolutely use them again!

We could not have asked for better entertainment and District Remix itself was such a pleasure to work with. Incredibly professional and incredibly responsive to any questions we had. If you are on the fence, book them ASAP!!!

our preferences. Between my husband and I, we have a very international family with folks from India, Australia, and Argentina and we wanted to be able to tailor the music to our cultures and we did not want a lot of traditional American wedding songs. Darian definitely understood the ask and our guests loved the music selection and specifically called out how much fun they had dancing. Darian also edited the song for my Father/Daughter dance so we could mash up two songs which ended up working out perfectly and our family loved. Darian, thanks for being such a key part of our magical evening!!

ons, etc. from his experience. And of course, our guests were on the dance floor quite literally from the moment the music turned on until cheering for an encore after the last song. We had such an incredible time and I would choose Don and DJ Remix again without a second thought. We were so blessed to have them part of our day and we are forever indebted to them for such an amazing wedding!

use them at our wedding. After speaking with Jason about our wedding ideas, he matched us up with Darian. It could not have been a better match! Darian was so professional and personable. My fiancé and I wanted our wedding reception to be memorable for all of our guests and we knew the DJ played a huge role in that, and Darian completely exceeded our expectations. From the first phone call until the last song of the night and send off, Darian listened to everything we wanted and kept the party going and was even on the dance floor with all of us at one point. Every song he played was perfect, even the ones we didn’t have on our playlist. He was incredibly accommodating, and even changed one of our ceremony songs the night before the wedding when I decided I wanted to go with something different. If you want your reception vision to be brought to life and have people on your dance floor all night long, definitely go with District Remix. You won’t regret it!
