A total people person, I started entertaining crowds for my mother's family entertainment company when I was just 7 years old! My passion for DJing was discovered in late 2015 and I started Divergence Entertainment immediately out of high school in 2016!
I am the first person you meet, as well as your main point of contact. My goal is make your vision a reality!

Quinn is the best! From the moment we started talking about my wedding I knew he was the perfect DJ. Not only is he passionate about the music being played/the vibe of the event, he also was SO excited about my venue and getting to be part of our wedding day. We worked together on a specific playlist and he made sure everything flowed just right. He handled all of our announcements, dances, timing, etc. flawlessly and had so many ideas/suggestions to incorporate into the night. Definitely the easiest vendor to work with, so flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to make you happy. You won’t regret hiring him!

We had Divergence Entertainment dj our wedding in September 2024. Our dj was Quinn and he was amazing! He was very professional and adapted easily to the chaos that comes with a wedding. He was really good at reading the room and delivered with music that matched with the vibe on the dance floor. The dance floor was full the whole time. We also really appreciate that he respected our requests like no line dance music and have some salsa music for my side of family. Many of my friends and family want to have him as a dj for their special day. Some even asked me if he does out of state weddings 😊

Where do I even begin with Quinn? He went SO above and beyond just "making a playlist". Are a couple planning for a wedding, thinking - like we were - that we could just make a playlist and rent a speaker system and it would do the same thing as a DJ? You're wrong. Quinn did SO much more. He did a phone consultation with us a week before the wedding and made recommendations for things we didn't even think of. A song to play in the background while cutting cake? He had three off the top of his head. He was diligent of the timeline but flexible. He brought a sense of calm to the entire day by getting to the venue early, double checking the sound system, making sure that he was on the same page as the officiant, and keeping the wedding party on track. After the whole wedding party walked down the aisle, Quinn came and checked on me and my dad and - since we didn't have a planner/coordinator - he even did me the favor of fluffing my train before walking down the aisle. Quinn perfectly timed our grand entrance / first dance song. He read the room during the entire evening and - while we gave him a playlist of songs to help him understand the vibe we were going for - he played stuff outside the playlist when the reception called for it. He made announcements in a charming and welcoming way about the bar closing during dinner, toasts as they were coming up, and the private last dance. He even went around to each table to send them up for the buffet instead of announcing it over the mic. Quinn was the perfect DJ for us, but he was also so much more - he was an integral part of our day that I am so grateful to have found. Cannot recommend him enough.

We chose to do a video game/nerdy wedding and we could not have picked a better choice in DJ. Quinn was amazing and hard working! He made the extra effort to show up to the venue to get an idea of how to set up. He even showed up at the rehearsal just to make sure that the music queued perfectly for the ceremony. Quinn really knows his music, we created our own list of songs and he filled the gaps of the reception with music that really fit our style at moments when we did not have the music. He can read the room really well and change up the music if the audience is not vibing.

Quinn is an amazing DJ and wonderful to work with! He is so knowledgeable and did a fantastic job meeting our expectations and needs! I have now officially been to several events that he has DJ'd at two of which were mine (all were amazing) and I would most definitely use him again in the future! Highly recommend for anyone in need of a great DJ :)

Quinn was absolutely great to work with from first meeting to the end of the reception for our wedding in May! Starting with our first talk, he not only answered all of our questions, but also asked us some good ones for what we would be looking for on the day itself. He kept in contact before the wedding and helped iron out last minute details and responded to us in an appropriate time. Then on the day itself, Quinn and his assistant Jacob did a great job following up every detail the we discussed and worked with us in changing some things on the fly. Our audience where able to clearly hear the ceremony with the speaker set-up outside. The volume of the music was lower during dinner and cocktail hour so guests could mingle and talk with ease.
And very important, he was able to read the room and keep people on the dance floor when dancing started after dinner. One of the many things we discussed was taste in music, which he was bale to adjust to easily. We went for more oldies and 80s to start with, but started to add more 2000’s to early 2010s as the night went on. He was such a great person to work with, couldn’t have asked for a better DJ on such an important day! Thank you Quinn and Jacob!

We were recently married this June and had Quinn as our DJ. He was so easy to work with! In a time where my husband and I were both being pulled in a million directions, it was nice to not have to worry to make sure we had everything complete as Quinn followed up with us and kept in touch throughout our engagement. Quinn provided a thorough list or questions to make sure we were on the same page with the music, dances, schedule, announcements, ceremony, etc. We had a call the week of to solidify any changes we had (like our first dance song) and Quinn was easy going and happy to accommodate so we had no worries going into our wedding. We gave him a general idea of the music we wanted and provided him a Spotify playlist (although not required) and he ran with that and hit the nail that on the head. We would recommend him to anyone. We had the most amazing time at our wedding reception with Jake as our DJ/ MC! He helped make the whole reception so fun and really took our music taste into account. He also communicated with us throughout the night and helped make the day so special! As a bonus Quinn stopped by before the reception to check in on everything and that was so special to us! We highly recommend Divergence entertainment!!

When Quinn quickly responded by to my inquiry for a DJ for an Upper Peninsula Wedding, I can not tell you how quickly my stress level went down. He was not only super kind but also very organized and had every detail needed to decide which package worked best for our wedding event. He was very timely with his communication and was able to answer any questions that might have come up during the planning process.
Quinn didn't miss a beat; from the ceremony to the reception. He made our wedding perfect and everyone had a blast on the dance floor.

Quinn was the best to work with! He loved my ideas and did everything that he could to make them happen . Once it got closer to the wedding he was extremely communicative. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long, even the wedding next door came over to dance with us because they loved Quinn. He rocked!

If you are looking for an honest, easy, and affordable DJ look no further! DJ Divergence worked with us to make sure we had a customized playlist that suited our tastes while balancing the needs of our guests. He also worked very well with the timeline, working with our venue, and fitting in alongside our live jazz band. BOOK THEM!

By far the best DJ we could’ve asked for, Quinn was attentive, organized, and simply great to work with throughout the planning process. We had Jacob as our DJ/MC for our wedding and everyone loved him! He made the entire day 10x more fun. I am not usually a dancer but Jacob kept me on the dance floor the whole night with the best music! Highly recommend Divergence Entertainment!

If you are looking for a DJ look no further! Quinn is your guy! Quinn did such an amazing job at our wedding from the ceremony to the reception. He knew exactly what to do and had given us a great worksheet we were able to fill out to help him know what songs we wanted and how to introduce us and our bridal party. We have used Quinn in the past many other times for graduations parties so he can do anything! We are so impressed with how quickly our guests got out onto the dance floor! Everything went smoothly during the outdoors ceremony with microphones, speakers, and the playlist. The reception to follow was inside and he set up quickly and smoothly. The reception was so much fun, we had so much fun dancing the night away! We could not have asked for a better night or a better DJ! He was wonderful about traveling to the venue, he will work with you on your budget, and you will have such a great time! We had so many guests coming up to us during and even after the wedding complimenting how he had done such a fantastic and wonderful job! Thank you so much Quinn!!

Everything from the planning and preparation calls, to the day of event went perfectly with DJ Divergence. The playlist they brought was exactly what we asked for and they stuck a phenomenal balance of working with our guests to take request that would fit the mood we were hoping to create. Hands down would recommend these guys to make your wedding day exactly what you were hoping for.
