Divine Celebrations

Our Wedding day was 5/28/2022. It was the perfect day. It took us almost 2 years to plan in a pandemic. Erin and her Divine Celebrations team were wonderful. Erin provided us great vendors from our photographer Darla Photography Creative Direction, to our florist All About Reclaimed- By Jeff Double and Nota Bene Fine Paper Boutique (for our wedding invitations). Each vendor made every detail to our wedding wonderful. Erin also coordinated the day well with our DJ and Wedding Singer as well. Our wedding was book themed. We still are overjoyed that Erin, was able to help us with our reception venue at the Omni William Penn Hotel. It was such a blessing to have our reception there. The food was amazing, our guests raved about the dinner at the reception. Erin came up with a dewey decimal library drawer, this was very unique. Our guests found their names and table number in the dewey decimal drawer. We had a book arch which came from All About Reclaimed by Jeff Double, When we look back on our wedding photos we smile and think of all the memories of that day. When we talk to our guests, they always talk about how awesome our wedding day was and mention many details from the book arch, to food and etc. We are thankful for Erin and her Divine Celebrations team and highly recommend this company if you're planning a wedding.

Our wedding was in April of this year but we started working with Erin December of 2020. I was not one of those brides that enjoyed wedding planning, I am super high strung and control freak BUT Erin was my saving grace. She kept me grounded and informed through out the ups and downs of Covid, wedding planning, and budgets. She understood what we wanted before we understood what we wanted! Our wedding was not easy … we had an Indian wedding and a Christian one on the SAME day. Erin and her team made that process so incredibly easy for us and our families. I have never had so many compliments on how well thought out each day and event was - all credit to Erin. We planned this entire week long wedding from NC. Erin accommodated us whether was it was an in person meeting or over zoom! I would recommend her and her team to anyone who is getting married- you will NOT regret it! Erin was so helpful throughout each step in the wedding planning! Although I didn’t do much of the planning she always made sure I was involved and ok with everything! When I did have stuff to add (even at the last minute) she was willing to assist in getting it done! She is wonderful and anyone would be lucky to have her as their wedding planner and coordinator!! She made the process smooth and made me feel comfortable!

Erin and her team are amazing! Due to the pandemic and travel restrictions, our wedding plans changed from a big wedding in India to a smaller, cozier event in Pittsburgh. Wedding planning was extremely stressful but Erin made our lives far easier. From amazing vendor recommendations to coming up with our wedding day timeline, she made wedding planning an enjoyable, seamless process. She consistently communicated with both of us throughout the process and was always available to answer any questions we had. For example, we made some last minute changes to our wedding day timeline but Erin was quick to communicate these changes to our vendors and guests. Though my husband and I initially planned our wedding and reception to be in India(!), with Erin by our side, we managed to plan and execute a great wedding and reception in Pittsburgh in the span of almost 2 months! Erin was wonderful from start to finish with our fusion Jewish-Hindu wedding! She was available and communicative for the year of planning. She came with us to a tasting and was on top of all of our requests. On the day of, our event was completely on time and ran seamlessly. Erin and her team handled the details while giving us the opportunity to experience our wedding without worrying about all the logistics. We’d highly recommend Erin and her team for wedding planning and coordination services!

We used Erin from Devine celebrations for the full wedding package. I would never do anything other than her. We had her full support from day one. Both of us being a bit older getting and married for the second time there were a lot of reservations about how to do this in a elegant and celebratory way. Was not looking for a traditional bride and groom. Erin took us to where we needed to go by listening , giving insights From previous weddings and working beside us the whole way. Her recommendations for other vendors was very helpful in the decision making. Nothing seemed to stress her and she stayed the course keeping both of us calm. It was a year in the planning but Erin’s attention to details and follow up and dates was amazing. Your support on the day of the weddingHer support on the day of the wedding was none other than spot on. We literally showed up.

Erin was ABSOLUTELY amazing to work with! This was the second time my family worked with her as she was the planner for my sister’s wedding a few years back. Erin is organized, reliable, and always there when you need her. She was super helpful with everything, especially with COVID and did her best to make sure I wasn’t stressed out. She makes you feel truly cared for and will always carve out time for you no matter how busy she is. And on the actual wedding day, everything ran so smoothly because of Erin and her team. She was there for anything I needed. I cannot recommend Erin as a planner enough!!

We used Divine Celebrations for the full service package which included planning, budgeting, contacting vendors etc. prior to the day of. The value of these services was necessary for me because I was planning a Indian/Western wedding and had no clue what to do for the Indian side of things. The day/week of coordination was so needed. My mom and I were able to completely enjoy the wedding and the week leading up because we didn't need to worry about all of the small things since they were already taken care of. There were definitely some unplanned hiccups but she took care of them without me even knowing the day of. Thank goodness!! At a minimum I would recommend everyone use day of coordination with Erin's team.

We recently had a small "mini-mony" with a handful of close family members and had Divine Celebrations as our planner. Through it all, they were attentive, detail-oriented, organized and were always in touch. I don't know how we could have done it without them! Our tiny wedding was stunning, and the entire experience, including the day-of, was stress-free and relaxed. This is all due to the amazing work of Divine Celebrations. As soon as we got engaged, I knew we needed to hire Erin. She is so exceptional at her job. When COVID hit, our plans changed from huge wedding to 'minimony' now, reception later and she did not skip a beat. She transformed our back patio into a lux outdoor dinner party for 6 of our closest family members. Along the way, if we requested any changes or needed to scale back something, she didn't bat an eye. She instantly made other options available for us. The day of could not have been more beautiful and she handled everything. Even things we didn't think of! Erin is worth every penny. Hire her and enjoy your day without stress. Due to COVID, our daughters very formal and elegant wedding she was planning at The Club at Nevillewood was cancelled. We moved her wedding to our home, social distanced outside under a tent in our driveway. Our daughters high school graduation party was outside, under a tent in our driveway 11 years ago. I did not want my 30 year old daughters formal wedding to resemble her HS grad party in any way. Enter Erin, owner of Divine Celebrations. Erin LISTENED to my daughters vision of her wedding day and helped her bring it to life under a tent on our blacktop driveway. Erin and Divine Celebrations were just wonderful! I have to say our wedding day was simply the best day of my life! Erin and her team were wonderful from the beginning doing all of the leg work to make sure vendors had our date available before sending us information to review. She helped us stay focused and made sure all the details were handled on time including having a detailed list of deadlines for activities. You still have to do SOME work because it is YOUR wedding but Erin and her team made everything go off without a hitch (at least that I know of). Divine Celebrations did an amazing job helping to plan our wedding. Erin was always available by e-mail, phone, or text anytime I needed her. Our guests were so impressed by how well organized all of the events were, thanks to Erin's team for working behind the scenes to make sure everything ran smoothly! Erin and her team were so helpful on our big day and in the weeks leading up to it. My husband and I honestly cannot imagine having made it through the wedding without her. She confirmed every single detail of what we wanted in advance and on the day of to ensure a magical day. She truly took care of everything and was ten steps ahead. It was such a relief to have her handle all the last-minute stresses and allowed us to really enjoy our day. I would absolutely recommend her to any bride to be!

We worked with Erin for over a year before our wedding. We hired her as a full time wedding planner. I started out having only a couple vendors, Erin worked very closely with us, and helped us find all of our other vendors, always within our budget. Every step of the way Erin was sending email updates, and keeping all my vendors up to date on timing for everything! My mom was a little overbearing during the process, and Erin helped assure her that her & her team had everything under control, and that (being my wedding) as long as what I wanted happened it would be a "Divine Day". Which it most defiantly was! Throughout the planning Erin was so helpful & friendly, and was so easy to talk to! The day of my wedding Erin's team was there as I was getting ready in the hotel keeping everyone on time (mainly my mom & sister), and making sure I had everything I needed. The ceremony went as planned, and Erin & her team helped my guests out of the church quickly, so that Jim & I could have photos at the altar without people crowding us. Cocktail hour Erin's team made sure we got to enjoy the appetizers I had selected for my guests by bringing my girls & I plates of them in our hotel room, while Jim socialized with our guests. Erin showed us our reception before our guests arrived in the room & it was so much more beautiful than I had ever expected it to turn out! The way Erin & her team put everything together was absolutely beautiful. The reception Erin's team made sure the DJ was on time with announcing everything, and lined us up for our grand entrance. She made sure for the rest of the night everything ran (as smoothly as it could with my family). Erin saved us so much stress (and money). She made it so I could really just relax & enjoy my wedding day. My sister just got engaged & she plans on hiring Erin & her team for the wedding as well. Erin is so worth what I payed, and more! We hired Erin as a full time wedding planner for our event in August, and she “cut out early” during our cocktail hour without warning. I’d spent a year working with Erin on our big day, so I was extremely hurt and confused when she left. After all, she had told us while signing the contract that she doesn’t do two events in a weekend when she takes on an ‘inclusive tier’ wedding. As a result, I became the point person for many things that evening, which is the last thing you want when you hire an experienced professional to do the job. We were planning a wedding remotely from San Francisco, and we wanted to hire a great wedding planner. Erin had good reviews, and we chose Erin because she was timely, sweet, and straight forward—all characteristics I related to. She’s cheerful and opens up every call with “hey sweetie” so it feels like you’re in good hands. We only met twice, and both times she would be unable to make a few meetings due to her involvement with the South Asian Bridal Show. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but we should have known then that she was spread out too thin. I guess we thought that since we requested so little of her time, that she'd really be there, mind and body. I soon realized that although she was great at email and answering any direct questions, she wasn’t going to be the type of wedding planner who’d make sure we had our bases covered. I got my fiancé involved once Erin dropped one too many balls, sent one too many wrong/unupdated docs to vendors. We were concerned that that her lack of ownership was beginning to affect our confidence in her abilities on the wedding day itself so my fiancé subtly suggested a weekly sync up. It would all be OK as long as she cold deliver on the day of the wedding. However she did not. We had a few fiascos at the wedding, but mistakes happen. The only intentional/avoidable incident was Erin ‘cutting out early’ as we were about to enter the reception. Maybe she thought we were in good hands with her assistant Whitney, but it was extremely unprofessional to leave without warning, and leave us with someone who we’d met for a few minutes at the rehearsal. Whitney was lovely, but we hired Erin for her expertise and execution, and we would have vetted out a day-of coordinator if that’s what we wanted. As soon as Erin left, the bridal party did not know the logistics of the grand entrance, and one of the groomsmen changed into a different outfit, and as a result I had to coordinate with the DJ when it came to the shout outs. The DJ referred to me rather than Whitney as the point person. I was sad after the wedding, and Ben and I called her the day after to ask what went wrong. We also let her know that we would be writing a negative review, so she would not be surprised. A few weeks later, Erin sent us a 10 page document that documented everything her team did, all the fires she put out, even aired dirty laundry about vendors she’d blacklisted. While I was not interested in fighting over who’s part of the story was right, there was something missing from that doc on a human level. the part that goes ‘I’m sorry i chose to leave the wedding we planned together to set up for another one’. The commitment to the wedding and overall integrity should be important to anyone who plans a wedding. We are not going to harp on all the things that went wrong, but our wedding was mismanaged by Erin, and then delegated without our consent to someone we’d just met.

A Tortorice Limousine has worked with Erin w/Divine Celebrations on numerous different occasions. Although our contact is limited to her client's transportation needs, we can't say enough about how terrific she is and can only imagine how thrilled they must be having her as their coordinator! She is always very thorough when expressing their needs and provides us with extremely detailed itineraries. Erin is quick to respond when contacted and very pleasant to work with. If you are in need of an event planner, we HIGHLY recommend contacting Erin w/Divine Celebrations. Talk about a stress free necessity when planning a special occasion - leave it up to Erin!

My daughter was recently married at Succop Nature Park in Butler, PA. The onsite planner, suggested a "day of " co-ordinator, either a professional or a competent family member. We decided to go with a professional, and were given Erin's name with the endorsement that "Every wedding she co-ordinates, seems to go smoothly". Until my anxiety hit peak levels about 6 weeks pre-wedding, I had never considered using a wedding planner. When I contacted Erin, she described the service I was interested in as "month of" , rather than "day of " coordinating and sent me a list of what that entails. I was sold. Hiring Erin was a gift to myself. She was immensely helpful in creating a time line, sharing info with all the vendors, orchestrating the rehearsal, and on the big day - running the show! She told us where to be and when. Her assistants were competent and calming as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the wedding, knowing that if problems arose, they would be addressed by someone other than me. When the shuttle bus got lost on the way to the wedding, I was not the one on the phone with the driver! At the conclusion of the evening, all of our decorations, dishes, and other paraphernalia had been neatly packed up , ready to go.

Signing Erin at Divine celebrations was one of the best things we did for our daughter's wedding. This wedding got rave reviews like "best ever", "unforgettable" and "magical and beautiful" from those who attended! Thanks to Divine Celebrations who really helped us execute our ideas from start to finish. Their support helped us relax and enjoy the wedding festivities. Everything was handled patiently and efficiently, to the last detail.

Erin was outstanding. When we started planning our wedding, we weren't sure we were going to use anyone. I have managed work projects before and figured we could make it happen -- that is until my then-fiance and I started talking about the day of the wedding. We didn't want to do all the thousands of little things it takes to make things work. We wanted to enjoy family and friends who would be coming from distant and near -- you can't do that and run a super-charged, intense project. Then we met Erin from Divine Celebrations, who was friendly, fun, helpful, and flexible enough to match our style and intentions with kindness and joy. Erin pulled off our wedding without a hitch, all with grace and good humor. Family and friends had a point person (other than us!!) to go to who helped them find their seats, know what to do next, and all the little things that someone has to do. Also, she knew many of our vendors and was able to help us navigate the final planning steps that can feel so hectic. She made our event stress free -- (I think she carried the stress, leaving the two of us free to have a great time and simply enjoy our occasion.) I would certainly recommend Erin to anyone planning a big shebang -- she's simply wonderful!

Erin is just wonderful! We could not have such a wonderful wedding without her. I am originally from China. I went to school and met my husband in Pittsburgh. But now I am working in Maryland. Planning a long distance wedding without helps from family is really stressful. I called Erin two months before my wedding and hired her as day-of-coordinator. It's the best ideas ever. I've done some planing myself but she really helped me put everything together and made me believed that I CAN get it done. She also pays great attention to details. My wedding receptions turns out to be even better than I could ever imagine. I received lots of compliments from friends and family. That was truly the best day of my life. This is my first online review of any kind (Sorry for the delay, Erin). But I really want to recommend Erin to other brides. She will make your dream wedding come true!

Erin and her staff were truly wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. All of my favorite vendors came from her recommendation. They handled both my nervous mother and some last minute crises with poise and helpful solutions!

We hired Erin on about two months before the wedding to help coordinate all of our events. She was extremely helpful, giving great ideas about how to give our guests the best experience possible. She responds to emails quickly, and even when she doesn't know an answer to your question she won't stop until she finds one. Her impeccable organization helped the wedding go smoothly especially when inevitably things started to go wrong. The best part was, she gave us a really stress free experience on the day of the wedding. I can't speak on behalf of actual planning services because we had done that all ourselves but we really needed a coordinator to pull things off and were glad that we chose Divine Celebrations to do so.

Erin was a life saver. Wedding Planners are not only for brides but for the mother of bride as well. With my daughter being out of town, it was difficult for me to organize all the details of a large wedding. Erin was the one who made it happen. Her expertise made my daughters wedding perfect. Her contact with vendors is amazing. She is willing to work within your budget and get you the most bang for your buck. She is a master of details. It's the little things that make the day stand out. She was able to meet with us when my daughter was in town, put us in contact with the right vendors and answer every question we had whether it was silly or not, she knew it was important to us. Her professionalism and calm mannerism helped to keep everything in perspective. I would have never thought we would have used a wedding planner, but I would suggest it to anyone who is getting married. Having Erin at the rehersal dinner and the day of the wedding allowed us as parents to truly enjoy the day. My daughter was so greatful we had her as the day went as smooth as could be. It's all about making it special, and that is what Erin did. Thank you for making this the best party we as parents ever planned and for making this my daughter's dream wedding.

Erin and her staff are truly amazing. They are very kind and know exactly what they are doing. I was very happy with what they did. I did not see my venue decor until I arrived there for the reception. It was above and beyond what I thought it would be. Please use Divine Celebrations -- You will not be dissapointed.

Erin was professional, quick to reply in all correspondence, and made time to fit in my daily schedule. She had to juggle both the bride and the mother in law, which she did very well. Erin also took my mother in law around town when she came in to help with some coordination to visit vendors. She was extremely helpful the day before and day of the wedding; having her there really put my family at ease because we knew she would take care of all the logistics.

Erin was absolutely incredible!! We had a Pittsburgh-destination wedding (I lived in Texas and my fiance in North Carolina) and we absolutely could not have done it without her. The only thing she didn't do is the weather, but God took care of that :-) I highly recommend her, we actually opted to use all the vendors that she chose and we were very very pleased with ALL of them. She made our wedding and reception into what I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. I really could not have asked for a more perfect day; we still get comments from friends and family about how beautiful and perfect everything was. She worked hard to give us what we wanted and she made us feel like we were her only clients.

My overall experience with Erin and Divine Celebrations was amazing! From the first email,Erin made our lives easy and smooth. You will find some planners that have ideas that they want you to do and push, and push you. Erin was totally opposite! This is your day and she will give you suggestions and ideas, but at the end of the day it is your decision. If you decide to use Erin, one of my suggestions would be to use most (if not all) of her vendors. Every vendor except for my DJ was recommended by her and they did an amazing job as well as some will give you more for your money or she's able to negotiate more to get what you want because of her relationship. She saved us thousands of dollars and gave us the who's who of vendors in Pittsburgh. Even with her schedule, you will feel like you are her only bride. I travel for my job and she would send me pictures on my phone of things she found and if she wanted her to pick it up or tell me where to go. In terms of budget and keeping a timely schedule, she is the best around! She will not only keep you in your budget, but she will help re-adjust your budget if needed. She likes to stay so close to budget that I asked her if I could go up on my cake bill! LOL! However, what's great about that is you know that she's not in anyway trying to get you to spend more than what you projected. My husband loved that because I'd see something that I'd want, but she would show me that we had no money for that within the budget. If it was something I HAD TO HAVE, she would adjust some things. As I said before, I travel for my job and without Erin, I could have never done it. She gives you timelines, emails to keep you on schedule (she likes to keep things a little early in case of errors), phone calls, texts,etc. Our timeline was so flawless on our wedding day that many of our guests said that our wedding was the most seamless they have ever been to. All in all, choosing Erin could be the best thing you do for your sanity! You will NEVER have stress about the planning of the wedding, just maybe the people around you that will drive you crazy. Even then,she helped me deal with that stress as well! Erin turned my vintage hollywood theme into reality for me! I just recently told Erin she is stuck with me forever! Erin won't be just your planner, but a friend. She will be 3 steps ahead of you and know what you're thinking before you think it! I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to Divine Celebrations!

Erin at Divine Celebrations is the best of the best. She is very professional and has been in the wedding planning business for a lot time so she knows a lot of vendors and their price points and can help save you the time and stress of finding them yourself. Plus, she is able to get additional discounts off vendors which also saves you money. The day of the wedding everything ran better then expected. Many friends and family members commented that this was the best coordinated wedding that they ever attended. We had a TON of special request and Erin listened and helped us with all of them. She is one of the best in the industry. Erin is more expensive then others but this is her full-time job and is available when you need her. I would not compare her to Jennifer Lopez in the wedding planner but she was wonderful to work with.
