Erin clearly brought many years of event and wedding planning experience to the table -- she balanced guiding us with best practices while also really listening to what we wanted. And, from our first meeting, we knew we could trust her completely, which allowed us to delegate responsibility to her and take things off of our plate. There were so many details and "event planning magic" tasks that Erin just knew to plan for and executed on. She and her staff also went above and beyond over the course of the weekend itself, handling countless things so that we could enjoy our wedding fully. This was her first wedding at our venue (which she found for us!), and she made it a point to build relationships with venue staff and to look around corners for potential issues that could crop up. She also did an excellent job managing and following up with all of our vendors, designing and iterating on floor plans, providing us with a timeline and checklist of decisions to be made, all while being cheerful and positive throughout. Our wedding was logistically fairly complex, and she was the reason it was all able to happen. Lastly, we were consistently impressed by her deep knowledge of Indian wedding customs and traditions, despite not being of South Asian descent herself. Erin has very clearly made planning weddings her life's work, and she excels at it! We could not recommend her more!

Each vendor made every detail to our wedding wonderful. Erin also coordinated the day well with our DJ and Wedding Singer as well. Our wedding was book themed. We still are overjoyed that Erin, was able to help us with our reception venue at the Omni William Penn Hotel. It was such a blessing to have our reception there. The food was amazing, our guests raved about the dinner at the reception. Erin came up with a dewey decimal library drawer, this was very unique. Our guests found their names and table number in the dewey decimal drawer. We had a book arch which came from All About Reclaimed by Jeff Double, When we look back on our wedding photos we smile and think of all the memories of that day. When we talk to our guests, they always talk about how awesome our wedding day was and mention many details from the book arch, to food and etc. We are thankful for Erin and her Divine Celebrations team and highly recommend this company if you're planning a wedding.

She understood what we wanted before we understood what we wanted! Our wedding was not easy … we had an Indian wedding and a Christian one on the SAME day. Erin and her team made that process so incredibly easy for us and our families. I have never had so many compliments on how well thought out each day and event was - all credit to Erin. for me because I was planning a Indian/Western wedding and had no clue what to do for the Indian side of things. The day/week of coordination was so needed. My mom and I were able to completely enjoy the wedding and the week leading up because we didn't need to worry about all of the small things since they were already taken care of. There were definitely some unplanned hiccups but she took care of them without me even knowing the day of. Thank goodness!! At a minimum I would recommend everyone use day of coordination with Erin's team.

The ceremony went as planned, and Erin & her team helped my guests out of the church quickly, so that Jim & I could have photos at the altar without people crowding us. Cocktail hour Erin's team made sure we got to enjoy the appetizers I had selected for my guests by bringing my girls & I plates of them in our hotel room, while Jim socialized with our guests. Erin showed us our reception before our guests arrived in the room & it was so much more beautiful than I had ever expected it to turn out! The way Erin & her team put everything together was absolutely beautiful. The reception Erin's team made sure the DJ was on time with announcing everything, and lined us up for our grand entrance. She made sure for the rest of the night everything ran (as smoothly as it could with my family). Erin saved us so much stress (and money). She made it so I could really just relax & enjoy my wedding day. My sister just got engaged & she plans on hiring Erin & her team for the wedding as well. Erin is so worth what I payed, and more! g day, so I was extremely hurt and confused when she left. After all, she had told us while signing the contract that she doesn’t do two events in a weekend when she takes on an ‘inclusive tier’ wedding. As a result, I became the point person for many things that evening, which is the last thing you want when you hire an experienced professional to do the job. We were planning a wedding remotely from San Francisco, and we wanted to hire a great wedding planner. Erin had good reviews, and we chose Erin because she was timely, sweet, and straight forward—all characteristics I related to. She’s cheerful and opens up every call with “hey sweetie” so it feels like you’re in good hands. We only met twice, and both times she would be unable to make a few meetings due to her involvement with the South Asian Bridal Show. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but we should have known then that she was spread out too thin. I guess we thought that since we requested so little of her time, that she'd really be there, mind and body. I soon realized that although she was great at email and answering any direct questions, she wasn’t going to be the type of wedding planner who’d make sure we had our bases covered. I got my fiancé involved once Erin dropped one too many balls, sent one too many wrong/unupdated docs to vendors. We were concerned that that her lack of ownership was beginning to affect our confidence in her abilities on the wedding day itself so my fiancé subtly suggested a weekly sync up. It would all be OK as long as she cold deliver on the day of the wedding. However she did not. We had a few fiascos at the wedding, but mistakes happen. The only intentional/avoidable incident was Erin ‘cutting out early’ as we were about to enter the reception. Maybe she thought we were in good hands with her assistant Whitney, but it was extremely unprofessional to leave without warning, and leave us with someone who we’d met for a few minutes at the rehearsal. Whitney was lovely, but we hired Erin for her expertise and execution, and we would have vetted out a day-of coordinator if that’s what we wanted. As soon as Erin left, the bridal party did not know the logistics of the grand entrance, and one of the groomsmen changed into a different outfit, and as a result I had to coordinate with the DJ when it came to the shout outs. The DJ referred to me rather than Whitney as the point person. I was sad after the wedding, and Ben and I called her the day after to ask what went wrong. We also let her know that we would be writing a negative review, so she would not be surprised. A few weeks later, Erin sent us a 10 page document that documented everything her team did, all the fires she put out, even aired dirty laundry about vendors she’d blacklisted. While I was not interested in fighting over who’s part of the story was right, there was something missing from that doc on a human level. the part that goes ‘I’m sorry i chose to leave the wedding we planned together to set up for another one’. The commitment to the wedding and overall integrity should be important to anyone who plans a wedding. We are not going to harp on all the things that went wrong, but our wedding was mismanaged by Erin, and then delegated without our consent to someone we’d just met.

y enough about how terrific she is and can only imagine how thrilled they must be having her as their coordinator! She is always very thorough when expressing their needs and provides us with extremely detailed itineraries. Erin is quick to respond when contacted and very pleasant to work with. If you are in need of an event planner, we HIGHLY recommend contacting Erin w/Divine Celebrations. Talk about a stress free necessity when planning a special occasion - leave it up to Erin!

mber. We decided to go with a professional, and were given Erin's name with the endorsement that "Every wedding she co-ordinates, seems to go smoothly". Until my anxiety hit peak levels about 6 weeks pre-wedding, I had never considered using a wedding planner. When I contacted Erin, she described the service I was interested in as "month of" , rather than "day of " coordinating and sent me a list of what that entails. I was sold. Hiring Erin was a gift to myself. She was immensely helpful in creating a time line, sharing info with all the vendors, orchestrating the rehearsal, and on the big day - running the show! She told us where to be and when. Her assistants were competent and calming as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the wedding, knowing that if problems arose, they would be addressed by someone other than me. When the shuttle bus got lost on the way to the wedding, I was not the one on the phone with the driver! At the conclusion of the evening, all of our decorations, dishes, and other paraphernalia had been neatly packed up , ready to go.

Erin pulled off our wedding without a hitch, all with grace and good humor. Family and friends had a point person (other than us!!) to go to who helped them find their seats, know what to do next, and all the little things that someone has to do. Also, she knew many of our vendors and was able to help us navigate the final planning steps that can feel so hectic. She made our event stress free -- (I think she carried the stress, leaving the two of us free to have a great time and simply enjoy our occasion.) I would certainly recommend Erin to anyone planning a big shebang -- she's simply wonderful!

in Maryland. Planning a long distance wedding without helps from family is really stressful. I called Erin two months before my wedding and hired her as day-of-coordinator. It's the best ideas ever. I've done some planing myself but she really helped me put everything together and made me believed that I CAN get it done. She also pays great attention to details. My wedding receptions turns out to be even better than I could ever imagine. I received lots of compliments from friends and family. That was truly the best day of my life. She is willing to work within your budget and get you the most bang for your buck. She is a master of details. It's the little things that make the day stand out. She was able to meet with us when my daughter was in town, put us in contact with the right vendors and answer every question we had whether it was silly or not, she knew it was important to us. Her professionalism and calm mannerism helped to keep everything in perspective. well. Erin also took my mother in law around town when she came in to help with some coordination to visit vendors. She was extremely helpful the day before and day of the wedding; having her there really put my family at ease because we knew she would take care of all the logistics.

The only thing she didn't do is the weather, but God took care of that :-) I highly recommend her, we actually opted to use all the vendors that she chose and we were very very pleased with ALL of them. She made our wedding and reception into what I had dreamed about since I was a little girl. I really could not have asked for a more perfect day; we still get comments from friends and family about how beautiful and perfect everything was. She worked hard to give us what we wanted and she made us feel like we were her only clients.

want you to do and push, and push you. Erin was totally opposite! This is your day and she will give you suggestions and ideas, but at the end of the day it is your decision. If you decide to use Erin, one of my suggestions would be to use most (if not all) of her vendors. Every vendor except for my DJ was recommended by her and they did an amazing job as well as some will give you more for your money or she's able to negotiate more to get what you want because of her relationship. She saved us thousands of dollars and gave us the who's who of vendors in Pittsburgh. Even with her schedule, you will feel like you are her only bride. I travel for my job and she would send me pictures on my phone of things she found and if she wanted her to pick it up or tell me where to go. In terms of budget and keeping a timely schedule, she is the best around! She will not only keep you in your budget, but she will help re-adjust your budget if needed. She likes to stay so close to budget that I asked her if I could go up on my cake bill! LOL! However, what's great about that is you know that she's not in anyway trying to get you to spend more than what you projected. My husband loved that because I'd see something that I'd want, but she would show me that we had no money for that within the budget. If it was something I HAD TO HAVE, she would adjust some things. As I said before, I travel for my job and without Erin, I could have never done it. She gives you timelines, emails to keep you on schedule (she likes to keep things a little early in case of errors), phone calls, texts,etc. Our timeline was so flawless on our wedding day that many of our guests said that our wedding was the most seamless they have ever been to. All in all, choosing Erin could be the best thing you do for your sanity! You will NEVER have stress about the planning of the wedding, just maybe the people around you that will drive you crazy. Even then,she helped me deal with that stress as well! Erin turned my vintage hollywood theme into reality for me! I just recently told Erin she is stuck with me forever! Erin won't be just your planner, but a friend. She will be 3 steps ahead of you and know what you're thinking before you think it! I had the wedding of my dreams thanks to Divine Celebrations!

The day of the wedding everything ran better then expected. Many friends and family members commented that this was the best coordinated wedding that they ever attended. We had a TON of special request and Erin listened and helped us with all of them. She is one of the best in the industry. Erin is more expensive then others but this is her full-time job and is available when you need her. I would not compare her to Jennifer Lopez in the wedding planner but she was wonderful to work with.
