walkthrough at our venue, uplighting was missing from our reception, which we contracted and paid for (thankfully, she did issue a refund for this). Additionally, we used our own backdrop stand, floral and curtain panels for our guest photo area. Her staff disassembled and packed our things with their decor. After spending days trying to get in touch with her, she had a member of her team drop off the backdrop stand and floral panels, but the curtain panels were absent. She claimed she didn’t have it, but if the staff was in possession of the backdrop stand and floral panels, how could they not have the curtain panels that were also attached? Her staff member tried to give us curtain panels that looked nothing like ours and he even mentioned they looked different. We would’ve appreciated an exact replacement or refund for the panels in a timely fashion, but have received nothing. Overall, we were extremely disappointed, especially given we spent our hard earned money for her services. Her lack of communication is troubling. Ignoring our calls, emails and text messages is unacceptable. We expected the same level of energy as when being sold on her services. We do not recommend Divine Designs & Events.

The stage was amazing and my brooch bouquet was so special and unique. Any vision you have she will execute flawlessly! Best of the best :)

Maha is super fun to work with and incredibly talented at creating an aesthetic that will match your vision for your wedding day. The bouquets, centerpieces, candles, drapery, and lighting left us and our guests speechless!! Most importantly, we did not have to worry about a single design-related thing the day of our wedding – she completely took care of the décor, allowing us to enjoy and not stress! Everything was perfect. We had the best experience working with Divine Design and Events and cannot thank or recommend Maha enough :)

She was willing to experiment with different colors, concepts, and designs that weren't necessarily in her comfort zone and executed it perfectly. Besides her elegant work, she was a warm person and that went a long way after having a bad experience with other designers. There is a reason she is now a master wedding planner- she puts a lot of love and care into what she does and the finished product is exquisite!!we love you Maha! So – trust me when I say that I compared some very high profile and well recommended event designers for my daughter’s wedding at the Drake Hotel in Chicago in June, 2018. When I met Maha, I immediately felt a sincere warmth from her, along with her genuine desire to create an amazing vision for our event. She showed me a variety of options from her inventory of décor which included some beautiful pieces that were unique from the other designers that I had met. In addition, she was so excited to be challenged by some new ideas and had great enthusiasm and desire to do a job that was above and beyond what I had ever dreamed of. I am not exaggerating when I say that when my husband and I walked into the room, it felt as though we were walking into a beautiful dream. The flowers, candles, draping, and many extras that Maha included for our event just looked like something out of a romantic fairytale. The words used to describe our event from our guests have been “jaw-dropping beautiful”, “magnificent”, “exquisite”, “the most gorgeous wedding they have ever been to and will probably EVER attend”!!! From a professional point of view, Maha was very attentive and quick to respond to my phone calls and emails. In addition, she met with me several times at both her business location, as well as, the church and hotel to go over the plans. She made me feel very comfortable and I felt that she was treating our event as personally as if it was an event for her own family. It is rare these days to meet people who are so interested and proud of doing a “job well done” – Maha is one of those people!!
