I was thoroughly impressed by the service I received from Divine Diva Events. La Shawn's attention to detail was unmatched. She helped us select great vendors . She kept on track with our budget and wedding planning schedule. On the day of my event I had no worries. No detail was left unattended to and the wedding and reception timeline was executed smoothly. I am so grateful for the excellent service from DDE.

If you want a beautiful, tasteful and elegant wedding, DDE is absolutely the must have person to plan your wedding. My husband and I wanted to be creative and do something different for our wedding. We just did not want to be part of a "package" that so many wedding coordinators have to offer. Yet, with two time-consuming jobs, we knew we could not accomplish what we wanted on our own. DDE's exquisite taste and wealth of experience made our wedding so incredibly beautiful that we are still getting calls from friends and family to get DDE's number so they could plan their events with her. However, helping us to have a gorgeous wedding is the least DDE could have done. Her unconditional help and advice, any time of the day and night, her unbelievable connections that helped us get the lowest prices on everything, and her amazing knowledge and love for this business absolutely overwhelmed us. She became a friend for life. Oh she gives Very Wang and Tiffany & Co. to every client---if that doesn’t win you wait to you see the honeymoon suite gift-- THe wedding was held in Hawaii and the destination portion of it didnt matter she still did an awesome job!

I was hestitant about hiring a coordinator. Because one of the venues we orignally contracted told us we didn't need to waste money on the coordinator. We thought we had paid and contracted our venue until we hired a coordinator. I ran into La Shawn at an event and was in awe by her giving personality and so willing to assist me by answering my questions. I had explained to her that I had gotten no where with my planning and I was clueless. Instead of bombarding me with her offerings. she suggested getting some books, reading through publications and using the Knot before hiring a planner. I asked her what she thought of planners and if she could recommend some. She stated she was a coordinator. I was stunned. I immediately hired her on the spot. Upon taking on my case- She called the first day to tell me that the venue had booked us for the wrong date and space. She mentioned to me that the contract negotation must have been wrong. I don't know what she did but we got the date we wanted and the time and the space. We also got a $5000 alcohol credit for our reception. I was amazed at La Shawn's work. I wanted her to negotiate all contracts and handle everything. On our wedding day me and my husband actually felt like guests at our own wedding. i didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. Everything was done and covered. I called myself micromanaging just to make sure nothing was forgotten but as soon as I can ask it was done or taken care of. I know its hard to trust people with your $ and your special day and it takes patience to find the right one. you will find La Shawn to be caring as if this were her own wedding and very patient with you. she is very e-savy so she will text and/or email you back immediately. I too liked that... if you want not to worry hire Divine Diva Events! La Shawn is enthusiastic, full of energy fun, and beyond organized and visionary and helpful. On our wedding day- La Shawn absolutely shined and to this day my family and friends are still asking for refferals to contact her.

Not quite sure what me and Sheryl would have done without La Shawn. Everything from start to finish was handled with care. We live out of state and our wedding was in LA. La Shawn flew here and met with us in person. Within 9 months she was able to get my family there and all of our friends and execute our day. We had our wedding at the Hyatt-Huntington Beach and all i can say was the choices that DDE made in selecting our details was everything Sheryl and i would have chosen.
