My daughter got married a couple weeks ago. It was my first time getting my hair done for a big event so I was a bit nervous. I booked a trial before hand and Tammie completely blew me away. It was stunning. The day oft hairstyle was just as beautiful if not more. If you’re looking for a hair stylist and makeup artist, they are the team! They are punctual, experienced, professional, on time, and create the look you are wanting and more.

Tammie did our hair for my sisters wedding. I had a vision in my head that had a half up half down with baby’s breath. She recreated it perfectly. She made my sisters hair (the bride) hair look stunning. She got so many compliments throughout the day/night. We will be booking Divine Wedding again in the future

I had my hair trial a couple days ago and I was stunned! Not only did Tammie blow me away by how pretty it looked, but she also assisted me in selecting the perfect extensions and hair piece/vine for my hair. You cannot go wrong with her, she knows her skill very well. If you’re looking for someone who is going to blow you away, she is the one! I cannot wait until she recreates the look on my wedding day!

Hiring Tammie for my wedding day was the biggest mistake I could have made. I was an out-of-town bride so I wasn’t able to have my hair trial until 2 weeks before my wedding because that was the earliest I was in town. Tammie’s behavior at the trial was rude, harsh, and inappropriate. I brushed it off as maybe a bad day but she acted identically on the wedding day towards the entire bridal party and family. She comes off as very professional over the phone but her behavior in person is far from this. Some events from my wedding day: -Tammie was traveling to Fredericksburg from Austin so we paid her a travel fee as requested. Less than a week before the wedding day, she informed us that she was tacking on an ADDITIONAL travel fee, almost doubling the price, because the “travel distance is longer than expected.” Tammie had the address for 1.5 months before the wedding date. -She demanded caffeine while getting ready and was annoyed when I offered coffee. When supplied tea she refused to drink it and when asked if it was okay she responded (shouted) to my mother-in-law, “Jesus Christ _____, get off my back.” Had she told me prior at the trial that she required tea, I would have gladly had this available. -When discussing with her that my curls fell an hour after the trial she said how she thought that would happen and that’s just how it would be. She completely ignored and did not address my concern- big surprise, my hair fell. -She started early on my hair and got done 45 minutes earlier than her schedule had intended. My bridesmaids and family were going off her supplied schedule and she was then extremely annoyed and passive-aggressive that the others weren't also ready 45 minutes earlier. -When everyone’s hair and makeup was complete, Tammie and Mayra left without a word said. And honestly, it was a relief for everyone. I hate to leave bad reviews but no bride’s get-ready experience should ever have to experience Tammie. We reached out to Tammie after the wedding to share how we were disappointed with her behavior and wanted to address things with her personally rather than posting a bad review. We never received a response. I wish I trusted my gut at the trial and discontinued hiring Tammie but being from out-of-town, I couldn't cancel.

Tammie and Roxy are AMAZING! I highly recommend them for your makeup and hair. I told them to take the lead and they did not disappoint. They made me feel like a million dollars on one of the greatest days of my life. Well done ladies, well done!!!

Tammie & Myra were AMAZING to work with. During my trial run, I just knew it was the perfect match. Both truly care about their clients & want them to look & feel their best on such an important day. Tammie is a blast! Very funny but also very prompt & precise. She has the timing down to a science & knows just how much time is needed to make each girl look & feel their best. Myra's airbrush makeup technique is beautiful & elegant. I usually don't wear a lot of makeup. Myra helped me find a style & balance I was comfortable with & that looked great in photos. I'll be sending them the video so they can see first hand how my husband's jaw dropped when he saw me walking down the aisle for the first time. Thank you so much ladies for making me & my bridal party look & feel incredible!

Tammie was great she showed up with her team on time and was ready to start the beauty process straight away. Everyone’s hair looked exceptional even despite the bad weather. I highly recommended her for hair!

Tammie and Myra are both such a delight to work with! I have been married twice, and have used Tammie on both occasions to make me feel and look beautiful on my special day. BOTH times, I have NOT been let down. Tammie exceeds the standards in all areas. Both times, she has showed up early, has a timeline that makes things run smoothly, and passionately cares about the end results. I asked Tammie to do a pretty tricky hairstyle on me. She didn't even think twice before seriously knocking it out of the park. I got SO many compliments on my hair. At the end of the night, it still looked as good as it did when she just finished that morning!! Of course, if you're wanting a hairstyle that awesome, you will probably have about 100 bobby pins in your hair, but that's kind of part of it.... My bridesmaids, flower girls and mom's hair was all awesome, too. Tammie coached them on the best hairstyles that would compliment their face and dresses and she was spot on because they all looked SO GOOD. Tammie's communication with me up until the day of the wedding was superb. Even after the wedding, she has checked in on me. She built a relationship with me and I am super grateful for that. It shows she truly cares about her clients and how they feel and what they think. On a day I was already stressed and worried about everything going just right, I knew I did not have to worry about my hair/makeup because Tammie was in the lead. Myra did our make up. She is just a professional as Tammie. All of our make up looked fresh throughout the whole night (even through several tears!!) She was so friendly and fun to talk to during the whole process. If you're looking to feel beautiful for an entire day, please consider Myra as your girl. I will absolutely being using Tammie again in the future for date nights, anniversaries, friend's weddings, etc. She's AMAZING. I promise you will not regret giving her a shot!

Worst experience of my life. Somehow she burned what I can only assume was plastic (she never fessed up to what it actually was) into my hair on the day of my brother’s wedding and did not even apologize for it. Her “fix” to get it out was offering to cut out the front of my hair where she had created a massive knot of bright blue plastic in my hair. I spent 2 hours sobbing in the bathroom working with my mom (mother of the groom) and sister to get it out and we still could not get all of it out and ended up having to rip part of my hair out along with the blue plastic. Not only did she ruin my hair, but she then still made me pay for it and was extremely rude to several other bridesmaids in the party. What should have been a fun day became a nightmare because of her and I highly recommend you stay away and never use her!

Great group of girls! My hair and makeup was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. I often worry about wedding make-up being too much or feeling caked on, but these girls made sure that I got the natural beauty look that I wanted. All I had to do was show them a picture, and they matched it exactly. I am so appreciative of their work! 100% recommend these ladies!!

Tammie did a great job on mine, my bridesmaids and my mother's hair for my wedding. We all got compliments on our hair throughout the whole night and the hair STAYED the whole night as well! I had a soft low bun with braids and I did not have to worry about it the whole night. Tammie's make-up artist, Bernadette did a fantastic job with mine and my mother's make-up. I truly felt like a princess on my day.

Tammie and the girls did an AMAZING job coordinating the day-of schedule and making sure we were all ready on time! The makeup was absolutely perfect and so was our hair! Thanks again for helping make our special day so beautiful!

I’m a wedding photographer and have seen Tammie’s work many times and have always thought she was the BEST of the BEST, creating individual, unique styles for each person she works with. When my daughter got married last weekend, we were fortunate enough to have had Tammie work her magic, and the results were nothing short of spectacular! I’ve honestly never felt so beautiful, nor have I ever seen my 3 daughters look quite so radiant. We did a trial run with Tammie for my daughter’s hair (the bride) a few days before the wedding and it was gorgeous! However, my daughter decided to wear her hair down at the last minute, and Tammie was able to do a perfect job, creating exactly what my daughter wanted. We couldn’t have been happier! The compliments poured in, all night long from friends and family. Tammie was punctual, prepared and professional throughout the day and finished everyone on time. She was an absolute pleasure to work with, and has personally proven that she’s a master at her craft, a true artist. I will continue to refer her to all of my friends, family and future brides that I work with in the future. If you want the BEST of the BEST, call Tammie!

I never felt as pretty as when Bernadette did my makeup. Very friendly and does a great job w/ makeup. I wish I could have her do my makeup every day.

I have used Tammie Garza on several occasions – Bridal portraits, wedding, formal events – over the past 15 years. Tammie is the best in the industry – hands down. She knows hair and what needs to be done to make you look your best. Tammie runs a tight ship and will get you in and out the door on schedule which is important. However, as with all stylists, I would recommend being respectful of her time and making sure you arrive on time or even a few minutes early. Tammie and her team have their trade down to a science. If you show up late you are not only causing them to have to work faster which doesn’t make for a pleasant experience for all involved.

I hate giving bad reviews but I feel like it's necessary in this case. For the price I paid ($200) my hair shouldn't have fallen within an hour and it did! Thankfully I was able to pull off the messy bride hairdo. I pulled my dress on from the bottom, I never touched my hair and it wasn't a windy day, but for whatever reason most of the bobby pins came loose. I chose Tammie because I had read a review that she's experienced with all hair types and wonderful but it seemed like maybe that day in particular she wasn't happy to be working on my hair or with my bridesmaids. I was also disappointed that we had talked about what to do with my hair at length via phone and email but when I got there she seemed like she couldn't pull it off even though it was the hairstyle she had recommended would be best for her when I met with her two weeks before the wedding. I never colored my hair or got it cut before my wedding to so I really don't understand how it became an issue. She complimented me a lot as she did my hair and she even said she loved my hair, she also asked questions to keep conversation going which was nice but she didn't really seem to be paying attention to our responses. My makeup was ok and Bernadette was really sweet but for the price you would think that you would get some touch up lipstick to use during the day too. Payment was also very confusing and inconvenient too. I was able to make the deposit with a credit card but the day of she wanted cash and her math was incredibly confusing for me and my girls. I would recommend her if her prices were lower but you can find better service for cheaper. I'm really sorry to have had such a bad experience but sometimes it's necessary to share.

One of my bridesmaids found Tammie on this website and I'm so grateful she did! From the moment I met Tammie, she was so much fun to work with! She did my hair for my bridal portrait and wedding and I loved it! Bernadette did my makeup and I loved it as well! They did exactly my hair and makeup just how I wanted it. My mom, sister, bridesmaids, and wedding party looked amazing. I looked and felt so beautiful at my wedding. I recommend Tammie and her team!

Tammie and Bernadette are a phenomenal team!!! They are both extremely professional and warmhearted from the moment they walked in. Also, they felt like family helping me get ready for the big day :) Bernadette did an amazing job on my bridesmaids and mother-in-law's makeup. We were all in love with the work she did. Bernadette took her time and gave them a look that was stunning and lasted the entire night. Tammie's work on all of my bridesmaids, my mother-in-law, my mom, and my grandma was simply beautiful and a work of art. She was able to add my grandmother in at the last minute and did not complain when I asked if she could make that happen. When it came to my hair, I was rendered speechless. Tammie transformed my hair into a masterpiece. Her finished work made me and everyone else around me cry tears of joy. Thank goodness for airbrush makeup!! To truly understand my gratitude for Tammie's work, you first must understand the horrendous hair trials I went through before divine intervention took place and allowed me to find Tammie. It was so bad that I had almost lost hope in finding someone that could give me the breathtaking hairstyle I had dreamed about since I started the planning process. I was already down to the wire and had about a month left before I found her. Tammie heard hesitation in my voice when I scheduled my trial and placed down a deposit which was refundable if I was not satisfied with her work. From the moment she started working with my hair, I knew this was going to be different. She put in some hair extensions to give me an idea of what it would look like on the day, and I teared up when I saw her finished product. I showed her pictures of the horrible hair trials I had before coming to her, and she completely understood my hesitation and apologized for trauma I endured at the hand of others. I am blessed to have met Tammie and Bernadette. Anyone who wants to look breathtaking on their special day, look no further. Tammie is the best hairstylist I have ever met!!!

Tammie and Bernadette did an incredible job! They listened to what I wanted, and did a better job than I could have imagined! They were both very flexible, fun to work with, and were reasonably priced!

My hair looked beautiful on my wedding day! I contacted Tammie for a trial and right away I knew she was the perfect person to do my hair for my wedding. Tammie is an expert and you feel that when she is doing your hair. Throughout the whole planning process, I was in contact with Tammie via-email and via-phone. She is professional and makes you feel that you are her priority. The day of the wedding she arrived early, prepared the room we would be getting ready and started right on time. I was so grateful to have found someone like Tammie as my hairstylist for my wedding! She was amazing to work with and her innate knowledge of hair types and styles helped make my wedding (and bridal photos) amazing! I am an individual with many hair problems, specifically alopecia, and Tammie did an amazing job at making my hair look full and natural. I was in tears for my bridal photos because I had never felt so beautiful. I cannot thank her enough for her expertise and for making my whole wedding experience unforgettable.

She definitely knows her hair! She can do almost anything and makes sure that you are happy with the results. Quality is of utmost importance to her. She walked me through the trial run and went over the pros and cons of my ideas and what would work piratically. She is very experienced and was able to get my hair and 2 bridesmaids done in a crunch. She has an intense personality, is a little overwhelming, and slightly closed minded. But if you are okay with that and want to look great then go for it!

I spent hours looking for a wedding day hairstylist. It was extremely difficult to make a decision since I lived out of state and could not do the trial first. I ended up finding Divine Weddings Hair & Makeup by Tammie Garza and immediately booked her. I am so glad I did and I highly recommend Tammie. She was extremely professional, very personable, and passionate about her craft. My hair was exactly have I envisioned it for my wedding day and everyone commented on how beautiful it looked. My bridesmaids and mothers also looked gorgeous and they each were styled by Tammie. I really do not like writing negative reviews but I am writing this in an effort to let other brides know what to expect and also to help Tammie figure out what goes wrong with her brides and why she isn't getting contracted as much as she would like. My wedding coordinator set up a hair trial for me with Tammie, from Divine Weddings. I live in Chicago and this was my final trial, I felt a bit pressured so I decided to book her. The hair trial went ok, she seemed a bit outspoken and insisted on extensions for my hair although my hair is very long, below my waist. She seemed somewhat nice and personable, so I agreed to her ideas. I am not very demanding so I decided to settle for what she suggested. Come wedding day her attitude upon arriving to the venue completely shifted. She was upset with us (my bridesmaids, my mother and a few other family members that got our hair done). The reason is because all of the ladies that were supposed to have their hair done were not able to make it to my wedding. There was an incident in the midwest where all airports were shut down. The first thing Tammie said upon walking in was that I better get replacements for those missing bridesmaids. I told her not to worry that I was going to pay the total due regardless of how many ladies were present. She calmed down. Then my maid of honor requested an updo which Tammie was not able to replicate, or come close to. When my MOH was not satisfied Tammie was not willing to change it until I requested it. I began to get nervous because I wasn't sure she would get my hair the way I wished. She seemed very bothered that I kept asking her to make changes to my updo. At the end my hair was ok, not at all like what I expected or requested her to do but it worked. If her attitude would not have been so awful Im sure the experience would not have been a negative one.

I usually do not like getting my hair professionally done bc it always seems too stiff and never seems to be what I originally wanted. This all changed with Tammie! I asked for a loose bohemian style for my wedding and that is Exactly what she did. I received compliments all day and have since had other brides use pictures of my hair to give to their stylist. Highly recommended!

Wow!! My hair was beautiful!!! Tammie did such an amazing job on not just my hair, but all six of my bridesmaids and the two moms hair. She worked so hard to make everyone beautiful, and I think I had the most beautiful moms and bridesmaids ever!! Tammie did my hair with extensions, and it looked so beautiful!! The most beautiful I have every felt. Thank you Tammie!! Highly Recommend!

So Tammie shows up at 6:00 in the morning when it's pitch black out in the middle of nowhere in the Hill Country and gets to work. From the minute she walked in (right on time) she had a vision. Tammie did my bridesmaid's hair exactly how they wanted, all while being very professional and sweet. Tammie did my hair for my wedding, and we did not do a run through (because of my work schedule). We had one phone call and then met for the first time face-to-face the morning of my wedding. And let me just say, she is a total pro. I gave her a fairly complicated braided, curly, low updo hairstyle that I had found on Pinterest. She replicated it perfectly for my own hair (I have long, thick hair that I have always found incredibly difficult to work with). And it was gorgeous. If I could rank my hair on a scale from 1-10 I would give it an 11. It was everything I wanted and more. And my hair stayed up throughout the entire wedding. I would go with Tammie again in a heartbeat. She helped make me feel the most beautiful a bride could feel.

Tammie did my hair for my bridal portraits and my wedding. She also did the MOG and MOB's hair and all the bridesmaids. I could not say enough good things about her. She is very professional and talented. She was able to take my ideas and work them into a great look for my dress, the venue and the theme of my wedding. She also did the same for everyone else's hair so there was a continuity and good overall effect. She was able to see what would look good on each individual person as well given their dress, face structure, hair type etc. She works fast too and had us done before scheduled. She was very clear with pricing and good at getting back to me whenever I had questions. Overall her schedule is generally flexible (she was able to do my hair at 6:00 am for my bridals that day) but she does book up fast so I would book as early as possible to make sure you can have her on your wedding day. And she is just a really nice person to spend time with.

Tammie did my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding and did an awesome job! I brought in a few pictures to my consultation and she was able to describe to me what would look best with my dress and then created it quickly and beautifully. She is so fun to work with which especially helped with jitters on the wedding day! My bridesmaids didn't know what they wanted to have done with their hair and she immediately came up with perfect updos for all of them, each unique but pretty and she had no problem with working with their variety of hair (short hair, curly hair, etc.) They all had a blast working with her too. She really has a gift for wedding hair and it's obvious that she is very experienced - she was able to create all of our beautiful hairstyles and even finish an hour before schedule! All of hair held the whole night even with a LOT of dancing at the reception and a very humid Texas evening. She is the wedding hair queen!

Not only does Tammy do a great job on your hair, she's so fun and pleasant to be with while you sit in her chair. Tammy was open to my ideas, allowed me to make changes, and patient with me throughout the process. Every time I went to get my hair done (Trial, Bridals, and finally Wedding) we did something different, and by the wedding day everything was perfect! The place was hard to find, so hair and makeup got there a little late, but Tammy was still able to finish on schedule! Love her!

Tammie was the perfect pick for my wedding extravaganza. With so many ladies to attend to, she was prompt, organized, and super creative! She had me do two trial runs, so I got exactly what I wanted on the day of. Everyone said my hair was "divine" and said I was a true princess bride. All of my bridesmaids LOVED the creativity and but also how they were all slightly similar. We couldn't have been happier with the finished product. Professional and experienced and a GREAT value for the price, Tammie is the one to call. Thanks again!

I picked Tammie because she was cheaper than a lot of other wedding hair stylists I found but her portfolio was still great! She can be kind of sassy and bossy. At first I did not think I was going to like her but after talking to her she is actually pretty nice! She did a great job on my hair, my bridal parties hair and the MOG, MOB and flower girls hair. It was all so pretty! The only mishap we had with her was the morning of the wedding. Originally when I contacted her I put my home address as the place where we would be getting ready before the wedding. We changed our minds and when I met her for my bridal portraits I gave her the new information--that we would be getting ready at the venue. She showed up at my house the morning of the wedding. Luckily my sister's boyfriend was there to answer and call us. She was so mad and apparently cussing at him. When we talked to her on the phone she was kind of sassy about it. Thankfully, by the time she got to the venue she had calmed down and it was all fine from there. The hair got done in time and looked stunning!

I have rather short hair, and Tammie did wonders with it (and clip in extensions). She works fast and keeps right on schedule! My sisters' hairdos were beautiful as well! My hair stayed put the whole night, minus one small wispy which was an easy fix with a bobby pin! I couldn't has asked for a better hair do. :) I would recommend Tammie to everyone- she's experienced, keeps on track, and definitely produces a great hairstyle!

Tammie did a fantastic job. She was easy to work with and was willing to work with whatever came along. I had no idea what I wanted done with my hair, but she was able to come up with something amazing for me as well as my bridal party. The day of my wedding was pretty humid and muggy but my hairstyle lasted really well!

Tammie was very professional and courteous in her correspondence (email and on the phone). I did a trial run with her and she made my vision for my hair a reality! She showed up on-site on time and ready to work! She and her assistant set up their workstations and got going right away with hair prep on me and my bridal party. The timeline worked out great (awesome planning) and we left for the ceremony right on time! Her prices are very fair and very competitive with Austin companies. I definitely recommend her! Tammie is a strong spirit and such a fun person to do hair on your wedding day! She's professional and listens to your requests for hair style(s). She has years of experience and delivers a flawless result. She lightened the mood for my bridesmaids and me while doing an incredible job on all of our hair for the wedding. I was so pleased with her work and recommend her! (I didn't have to adjust a thing after she was finished - the hair looked perfect and stayed hair-sprayed throughout the dance party too!)

Tammie did such an INCREDIBLE job on my daughter's hair. It looked absoutely gorgeous! On the wedding day, she had to do 7 other people's hair, in addition to the bride's...and everybody looked so beautiful. She even touched up some closer to the wedding time, and even did hair for two unplanned family members. Her prices are very competitive, and she is very professional.

Not overly friendly, but absolutely GORGEOUS hair!
