Wow, my cake looked and tasted out of this world amazing! We had 3 tiers, but only cut 2 at the wedding - lemon cake with raspberry preserve filling (so good, guest favorite) and t...
he Italian cream cake with cannoli filling (bride/groom favorite, that filling is so so yummy). We chose to downsize the wedding quite a bit due to covid and honestly forgot we had ordered a cake for a much higher guest count. We came home with the top layer (don’t remember the flavor), which we put in the freezer to save for a later date, and half of the bottom and middle layers. We ate cake night and day for over a week and I’m not complaining. It was SO good!
We also got really cute sugar cookies shaped like the state of Georgia (lots of those ended up in my freezer as well) and macrons in a variety of flavors. The guests actually ate all of the macrons before we got to try any, so I guess they were really good!
Jody is the perfect professional and makes the most amazing cakes! She and her husband created all of the desserts for our wedding and they were delicious, gorgeous and affordable!...
I didn't think a trifecta such as that actually existed.
From the moment we met for the cake testing until the delivery of our cakes, Jody answered every question in a loving way and helped make our wedding cake (and pie!) dreams come true. Our three tiered cake and groom pies were exactly what we dreamed of and tasted out of this world!
Our guests LOVED our desserts and even asked for to-go boxes so they could continue enjoying the cake and pie after our wedding.
I will definitely be hiring Dixie Confexions for all of my pastry needs moving forward!
Thank you Jody for making my wedding perfect and delicious!

d a delicious 3-layer cake that turned out beautifully! I am so glad the staff at our venue was able to save us some because it was gone by the end of the night- that's how good it was! Thank you again!
Dixie Confexions did our wedding cake, (as well as 3 dozen cupcakes) and cheesecakes for our rehearsal dinner. Jody and Rick were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout th...
e entire process (we live across the country and they made the planning super easy, and were able to schedule a last minute tasting when I was in town), and, most importantly - the cakes were DELICIOUS (and GORGEOUS). We chose hummingbird with caramel icing for the wedding cake and I still think about it daily.... my husband and I have talked about going back to Blairsville just to be able to have more cake. We could not be happier with Dixie Confexions - definitely recommend!

We're planning for a November wedding in Young Harris and tried to find bakeries in the area to bake our cake. The area is very small so there are only a handful of bakeries. I con...
tacted 2 bakeries and both were unavailable for cake tastings. After the frustration, we just searched Google and found Dixie Confexions. We were not disappointed! Jody was very quick in replying to my inquiries and set up a cake tasting with me right away. They sent us a list of fillings, frostings, and cake we could try. It was the best buttercream and mousse I've ever had! They were reasonably priced and very nice. We can't wait to see and eat our cake at the wedding!
