Dixie Confexions Bakery & Cafe is a hometown bakery, owned by husband and wife team Jody and Ricky Atkins. At Dixie, decadence is limited only by imagination. We specialize in creating custom wedding cakes that reflect each bride's personality and design style. Our cake recipes are inspired from family traditions and baked with only the finest ingredients. Once you've selected your cake, we'll help you select the perfect frosting and filling pairings that will bring all of the flavors to life. We also offer dessert and candy buffets, as well as cupcake tiers.

he Italian cream cake with cannoli filling (bride/groom favorite, that filling is so so yummy). We chose to downsize the wedding quite a bit due to covid and honestly forgot we had ordered a cake for a much higher guest count. We came home with the top layer (don’t remember the flavor), which we put in the freezer to save for a later date, and half of the bottom and middle layers. We ate cake night and day for over a week and I’m not complaining. It was SO good!
We also got really cute sugar cookies shaped like the state of Georgia (lots of those ended up in my freezer as well) and macrons in a variety of flavors. The guests actually ate all of the macrons before we got to try any, so I guess they were really good!
Jody is the perfect professional and makes the most amazing cakes! She and her husband created all of the desserts for our wedding and they were delicious, gorgeous and affordable!...
I didn't think a trifecta such as that actually existed.
From the moment we met for the cake testing until the delivery of our cakes, Jody answered every question in a loving way and helped make our wedding cake (and pie!) dreams come true. Our three tiered cake and groom pies were exactly what we dreamed of and tasted out of this world!
Our guests LOVED our desserts and even asked for to-go boxes so they could continue enjoying the cake and pie after our wedding.
I will definitely be hiring Dixie Confexions for all of my pastry needs moving forward!

tacted 2 bakeries and both were unavailable for cake tastings. After the frustration, we just searched Google and found Dixie Confexions. We were not disappointed! Jody was very quick in replying to my inquiries and set up a cake tasting with me right away. They sent us a list of fillings, frostings, and cake we could try. It was the best buttercream and mousse I've ever had! They were reasonably priced and very nice. We can't wait to see and eat our cake at the wedding!
