Not to mention the flowers, oh my goodness were they gorgeous. Lisa took the pictures I sent her and went above and beyond what I could have even dreamed of to make the most beautiful arrangements. re process. I wasn't really sure what I wanted in terms of florals and they provided insight and guidance, and the bouquets turned out BEAUTIFUL! The most special part about working with DIY is the flower party that happens before the wedding. You can invite your bridal party to join you and help make bouquets and arrangements. It was such a great opportunity to connect with a small group in a fun and intimate setting before the big day. It also made it extra special that each bridesmaids were holding bouquets that they had personally made. We also made flower crowns for the flower girls. I 100% would recommend working with DIY for your wedding. It'll be so memorable and you'll save a bunch of money on florals!

The party to put the bouquets together was fun and a great start to my bachelorette party. They also had unique and fun alternatives to the traditional corsages and boutonnieres. per accommodating with me as I not only messed up the day we were suppose to get the bouquets done but also forgot to make a bouquet for one of my bridesmaids that was traveling on that day we created the bouquet. Lisa was super helpful and attentive and helped me through it all. In addition to their amazing attention with us, my bridesmaids loved making their own bouquets and enjoyed doing something different before the wedding.

ing with decor. They loved it. We enjoyed getting the girls together 2 days before the wedding to put our flowers together and enjoy some wine & much needed relaxation. The bridesmaids & moms loved this experience, as did I! Lisa also helped a lot with providing options for both bridal bouquet & bridesmaids. We also had a beautiful large floral piece made for the altar, which turned out great--we used it above the fireplace during the reception. Lisa is a pleasure to work with!!

What I loved about working with DIY is that they help give you florist expertise, but then you get to create the bouquets of your dreams. Lisa was so easy to work with - via email and over the phone. I was able to bombard her with my Pinterest pictures and she was able to tell me what types of blooms would work well. We even managed to get peonies and garden roses - my favorites! All my bridal party and I had to do was show up two days before the wedding to have a girls-get-together and flower making party! It was a great way for my bridesmaids to chat and get to know one another better prior to the wedding festivities. Plus, we got to bring in whatever food and drink we wanted! Being the Type A personality that I am, I like getting to be hands-on and oversee things. I absolutely LOVED getting to make my own bouquet. It was such a fun project, and knowing that I was going to hold that bouquet while marrying the love of my life meant everything! I wish those beautiful flowers could have lasted forever! Good thing they live on in our wedding photography! Thank you, Lisa and Laura, for a fabulous experience. I will be recommending you to anyone I know looking for a great wedding florist in the Denver area!

idesmaids and some close friends and family members, we brought in some brunch platters and stuff for mimosas, and we got to DIY our bouquets! The workspace/storefront and everything inside is just absolutely adorable, and Lisa and Laura were fabulous to work with. Little things like having my name on a big chalkboard wall and on the sign out front made for some adorable pictures and made us feel so welcome and excited to be there. I emailed some pictures of what I had in mind and they made it come to life! Everything was cut and organized when we got there, and they walked us through how to make absolutely gorgeous bouquets - everyone’s was beautiful! Some of the less crafty bridesmaids were worried that they wouldn’t be able to make a nice looking bouquet, but with the friendly guidance of Lisa and Laura everyone’s came out fabulous and everyone had a great time! They suggested which things would be feasible for us to DIY (the bouquets, some of the simple aisle decorations, and the flower girls got to decorate their baskets) and then they took care of the bigger and more intricate pieces such as the centerpiece garlands, ceremony arch arrangement, and boutonnieres/corsages - they were all stunning and exactly as I envisioned them, and the fact that we got to make our own bouquets was such a special and fun touch. If you want to do something that is a little different than the traditional florist but way more fun, look no further than DIY!!!

to be completely involved. I was worried when it came to picking a florist that I would be surprised the day of with flowers that I didn't want. I also had a large wedding party and needed lots of flowers but didn't want to break the bank and wasn't sure how I would be able to do it all on my own with family and friends out of state. At DIY, I was able to save money and get exactly what I wanted. What made it even better is that I had all my bridesmaids, and family and friends come help put all the flowers together the day before the wedding. We were able to bring in mimosas and light snacks and play music while we put the arrangements together. It doubled as my bridal shower since this was the only way everyone would be in town! Everyone involved thought it was such a great idea and had so much fun also learning how to put arrangements together. They also made custom boutonnieres for the groomsmen that had power ranger themed buttons on them for my husband that were just amazing! They delivered and set everything up to perfection and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone for their big day!

I also had Lisa place the flowers on my cake which was so beautiful I almost cried when I saw it. They went above and beyond and really took my unique wedding vision and made it a reality. I would reccommend this vendor to anyone, especially picky brides like me!

art working. You won't be dissapointed! We had a very specific, vintage, dramatic wedding with lots of antiques. Ten minutes into the first consult and with only vague pictures of some things I'd been collecting, she had a million ideas that made me squeal with excitement. She gets it! She singlehandedly created a cohesive feel to everything I wanted the wedding to convey. The things guests spoke about most are the ones she suggested. She is so sweet, vivacious and a total dream to work with, and she will work within even a teensy budget. Hire Lisa, you'll be so pleased!
