I’ll start by saying - that I found AJ by searching “Best Latin Wedding DJ in South Florida” in CHATGPT. AJ’s name was amongst the top rated which speaks volumes.
AJ was beyond phenomenal and exceeded every expectation we had. From the very beginning, his communication was outstanding. What impressed us most was that he became a genuine part of the wedding planning process far beyond the traditional role of a DJ. Unprompted, he personally reached out to all of our other vendors to introduce himself and coordinate details ahead of time. That level of initiative was honestly refreshing and immediately showed us how seriously he took his role in making the day successful.
A wedding is a major investment, and he approached every responsibility with an exceptional level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail. He was meticulous with names, timelines, pronunciations, transitions, and especially the special requests that were important to us as the bride and groom. Nothing felt overlooked or improvised.
What made our wedding especially challenging was that the entertainment setup was far from standard. His responsibilities were split between coordinating with a live band and a ceremony violinist, which created a much more complex production and timeline than a typical wedding setup. Despite all of those moving parts, everything flowed seamlessly from beginning to end. Every transition felt smooth, coordinated, and intentional.
On the wedding day itself, he created an incredible atmosphere while still making sure every important moment happened exactly the way we envisioned it. You could tell he genuinely cared about the outcome of the event — not just about showing up and playing music.
If you are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, detail-oriented, and truly operates at a high professional level, we strongly recommend AJ. He played a huge role in making our wedding feel polished, smooth, and unforgettable.

During the wedding everything went off without a hitch, and we didn't have to think about a thing has all the music just flowed so naturally. He jumped onto the dance floor to rile up the group, and he has such a natural and fun energy. He's great with multi-cultural groups and appeals to all generations, love his energy, preparedness, and his ability to MC the best wedding!

Cocktail Hour was cool, and reception was a blast! I pride myself on being thorough in the planning leading up to the wedding. Glad my detailed planning system led to this beautiful review, and fun, memorable celebration! Having that natural music flow we all enjoyed is a result of this planning system, combined with sensitivity of being "in the moment", and experience. As an International Marketing major, I'm really fascinated by other cultures, readily embracing them and incorporating them into the festivities. the entire planning process, AJ was extremely professional, genuine and helpful. Our venue required additional sound checks that are typically out of the norm, and AJ was so understanding and accommodating even though he had to drive hours to attend that. His professional guidance while selecting music for our wedding was so spot on, accommodating all of our guests while still making sure I was happy. He went above and beyond to take extra time out of his schedule to go over details thoroughly with not only myself but my wedding coordinator as well. Planning a wedding can be stressful at times and he was extremely patient, personable and had a very positive demeanor throughout the entire way, all while helping to ensure the music process was flawless for our wedding. There aren’t enough wonderful things I can say (and our guests) about DJ AJ, he was one of the biggest gems of our beautiful wedding day!

I think AJ really meant well. And he certainly did his job at our wedding and nothing went wrong. However, I felt like I was constantly questioned about my choices and the way the ...
reception was run. Even after explaining my choices several times, AJ still did not play some of the songs I had on my “must-have” list at the times I requested (if at all).
My husband and I are both musicians, and we had a mix of live music and AJ’s work, and it seemed to confuse him as it deviated from a traditional reception. I agree that the reception’s flow was not typical, but the extent of work we were asking was to balance two microphones and a backing track. It became frustrating to keep explaining the same things over and over again. I’m grateful that he pulled everything off, but it came at the cost of a significant amount of my time and my bridal party’s time on the wedding day. However, AJ was very thorough and professional, and I think his work is well-suited to events with a Gen-X or older majority crowd. He just perhaps wasn’t the best fit for us.

I'm glad you touched on the "produced" part, because a better DJ&MC not only plays music, but helps with production aspects leading up to, and behind the scenes on your wedding day as well as leading up to it. r guests made me feel that special love we all felt there, and I enjoyed seeing you and your guests dance like crazy!! Proper planning of the playlists really translated well to the dancefloor as well as the other segments of your destination wedding. I always strive to arrive extra early for everybody's peace of mind as well as to allow for any unforeseen delays, plus I get to feel the vibe of the venue (in this case beautiful Playa Largo in Key Largo) and even enjoy lunch which I had at Sol Restaurant there. Adaptability/flexibility are also really important. Glad I was able to do that and adjust on the fly. Thoroughness is more important than many realize. There are so many details that are important to the success of weddings like yours. - there’s no receptionist or office manager you speak to to interview and explain your vision. From the initial conversation through all planning and execution, he was on his game! He’s exceptionally organized, very collaborative, and flexible. He did everything we asked, stuck to our do-not-play list, and was just wonderful to work with. He also crushed it with our uplighting and was very accommodating with our venue’s requirements. I can’t recommend him enough!

It's similar skills sets needed for both types of celebrations, and corporate events can be even MORE challenging in the planning process as the demographics of the guest mix tends to be more diverse, there are multiple point persons, and the formalities are definitely different. It feels like I've known you much longer than I have, which is how I like it! The social aspects of this Labor of Love are soooo important.
It takes professionalism and organization to find out the details necessary to bring the good times,
find out about your vision, and then it's very gratifying to know we did that.
Glad the photo booth was a hit!! It's often another "fun center" since you and guests get to feel that happy emotion of taking pics then sharing them with loved ones and/or on social media. Nice to hear you got such great feedback from them. Warms my heart. I sensed from when we first started chatting, then when I arrived to setup and met your cool, upbeat guests that your wedding was gonna be fun and memorable, and that I was right! Lol I'm so happy you and they enjoyed everything.
Many couples/clients don't realize that 60-80% of the success of a wedding is in the pre planning of music, formalities, timeline, guest demographics & more, then taking all that info and creating your dream wedding. You gave me great info in advance, then I was able to put it all together.
Being "in the moment" and adjusting quickly on the fly is really important. I pride myself on my sensitivity in this area and glad I was able to do this at your wedding.

put our minds at ease. Even from the beginning, the communication was great. He was very detail oriented and thorough. We could tell by the questions on the questionnaire, that he really cares about customizing each wedding to the couples specific preferences, making it all the more special! We flew into town about 4 months ahead of time, to meet with vendors and do a food/cake tasting. AJ made time in his schedule to meet with us and “get to know us”. He was warm, friendly and approachable. This put our minds at ease even more. He was down to earth, but we could tell by the questions he asked and the conversations we had, that he was a true professional and takes his job very seriously. This wasn’t his first rodeo! The one comment he made that really stuck in our heads was that he doesn’t just make a playlist and stick to that. He likes to read the crowd and adjust his list accordingly. This is very important because as a DJ, if the dance floor starts to get sparse, you need to draw the guests back out. Well, DJ Falcon never had a problem with that. He kept the dance floor packed the entire night! I would confidently recommend this DJ to anyone who wants a worry free fun evening! He was on top of things and we had zero issues!

Good communication with my couples is very important, as is being detail oriented and thorough. I like to get to know my couples, and it was a pleasure getting to know you guys. I really do care about making your wedding day as memorable and fun as possible, so my planning system allows me to find out about you and your guests, and customize everything to your liking. It's a #laboroflove.
Finally, and importantly, yes, I try to stick to playlists given as much as I can (to please you and your guests), put the songs in the best order to achieve maximum fun, and am constantly evaluating the guest's reactions to the playlist "in the moment" and making adjustments on the fly as needed. This is a super important skill which has been honed by my experience in both events and clubs. Glad you mentioned and appreciate that, and that you and your guests enjoyed!

Indeed, I DO have a passion for music and the joy/emotion it brings especially when getting loved ones together to celebrate the good times like Lauren and Pablo's Wedding. I very much enjoy the social aspects
(including getting to know the couple)of this Labor of Love. Glad I could be a part of their celebration! A site inspection in advance of the wedding is often a very good idea to make the day of the wedding flow more smoothly and problem free. This is included complimentary with my services. There are many less pleasant "back of the house" load in logistics that also are addressed by such an inspection. Glad I could keep you and all your guests dancing all night. The right planning in advance considering ALL the guests demographics, tastes, etc makes this a fun and effective method of ensuring a great time for all. I've heard the saying "your vibe attracts your tribe". Both you and your new husband Pablo were really cool, sweet, and down to earth, which made it easier to make that emotional connection with you and your guests which is sooo very important to me.
