There was never a time where we felt the music was inappropriate for what was happening. There was never a dull moment and we had a LONG party. Barry really took the time to get to know us. My fiance and I had dinner with him during our first meeting and we all got to know each other and before we even spoke about music, I know that Barry had our backs, loves what he does, and we had found our DJ. He then asked us all the right questions about our taste in music, the age range in guests, do we want an all night dance party or did we want it to ebb and flow. MANY of our guests commented on him during the night. "where did you find this DJ?" was a common question, followed by "He's Awesome!" Barry created a playlist for us, matching the music we had to have, with his recommendations, and worked it into our timeline so everything would be seamless. And it worked out amazingly well. I would recommend Barry to anyone for any kind of event that needs a DJ.

Barry was very professional; in our initial meeting, we discussed the style of my reception and my music interest. I gave him a list of songs that I like, but I told him that he's the DJ and he's the professional, so I didn't want to hold him to a strict list. As with any bride, there are so many last minute details, that it's easy to forget something. In my case, I forgot the most important part of the reception - the wedding party entry song. Barry brought it to my attention and immediately put something together. This was very important as I had so many last minute details to take care of and having this fall through the cracks would have set the tone for the evening. On the day of our wedding, Barry showed up to the reception location on time, ready to WOW my guest and WOW them he did! From end of the cocktail hour to finish, my guests didn't sit down. Not only did they NOT sit down, I've never been to a wedding, where the guests were still around until the very end of the evening. Barry has been my Go To DJ from that point on.
