st off of the small inspo one we gave him. He also made sure people of all ages had fun and still allowed us to get rowdy towards the end of the night. This was our second time hearing his work, he also played my sister’s wedding and the experience was just as good. Super affordable, super easy to work with and left everyone talking about how good the music was!

ll night. Multiple people told us they wanted to walk away for something else (a drink, bathroom, etc.) but couldn’t because Alex kept crushing it with music. Thank you!!

Before booking, we wanted to ensure that the vibes would be perfect for our event, and Alex informed us that he DJs at the nightclubs our whole friend group goes to regularly for a fun night out, and even provided video samples of his prior club gigs. We hit him with some pretty ridiculous requests, like playing bluegrass/classic rock during dinner and then an immediate transition to early 2000's and 2010's hip hop and rap. My specific words to him were that I "wanted it to get ratchet" and he absolutely delivered. While his 'party' DJ skills were perfect for us, the bluegrass and country/rock he selected for our dinner service was perfect and genuinely enjoyed by the older crowd of guests. Alex kept our dance floor packed the entire night, which is hard to do for an entire wedding! Our guests still, months later, speak about how our wedding had the most fun music of any they have attended. As an MC, Alex did a great job introducing our bridal party, making announcements, and keeping communication on time for the flow of our events. Additionally, he was kind enough to let us use a microphone for our ceremony at a discounted rate instead of insisting we hire him for our simple ceremony. Alex is truly a good guy and an excellent DJ. We cannot recommend him enough!

He was friendly, professional, and truly understood the vibe we wanted for our wedding. On top of that, the price was amazing for the quality of service we received. dancing. Alex was a big part of setting the mood for the night, and boy…did our friends & family have the best time ever. We’re big music lovers and music was really important for our wedding. DJ Bertie surpassed all expectations and threw in songs that we wouldn’t have thought of, but fit the vibe perfectly. Every single one of our guests (even the ones that hate dancing) were on the dance floor all night. There were multiple people that came up to us complimenting the music and asked where the heck we found him. Some friends asked if anyone recorded his set so they could re-listen.  COULD NOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!! Book him before our friends do.

We had 100 people on the dancefloor the whole time. Almost every guest came up to us and said this was the funnest dancefloor they'd ever been on and that is 100% credit to Alex.

Alex handled all of these challenges like a true professional. He adjusted his plans with little notice and brought additional equipment and an associate to ensure each location had excellent sound. He pivoted with the timeline change and offered suggestions for an alternative that ended up being so fun! Also, Alex really just made our reception so so fun! He was clearly very skilled with mixing music and reading the vibe of the group on the dance floor. He brought a full out dance floor lighting system as well which added so much to the vibe! My new husband and I had a blast partying with our guests and are so thankful to Alex for making that possible!!

floor full of energy. DJ Bertie communicated super clearly and efficiently about needs for the wedding and timeline for speeches, microphone handling. On our big night once the dance started the energy stayed high the entire time until he ended. We approached him zero times with requests, didn't see anyone in our party approach him with any requests. We let DJ Bertie do his thing and he got everyone at the wedding moving. Throughout the night I had multiple people come up to me and say the following items about DJ Bertie and our experience: -"Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a better dance party at a wedding." -"He really takes his job seriously, he's been live mixing this entire time." -"Where did you find him!?!" -"He's been throwing bangers this entire time." (to be clear on this last comment he played everything from oldies to remixed classes to new stuff like Fred again... and due to his live mixing it was seamless. Do yourself a favor and hire DJ Bertie for your wedding or event if you want people to dance. He also helped us with our photo booth process which was a huge hit.

and so there were no mix ups on the day of. He kept the party going once we started dancing and did a great job responding to the crowd. Well done!

Once it was party-time, DJ Bertie did such a great job mixing up the classics with some older tunes to keep both our families out on the floor for the majority of the night and then turned up the energy for our younger friends who were sticking around all night. DJ Bertie is next-level because he doesn't just hit play and let a song go until the conclusion. He is actually mixing the songs, blending them and even creating some really cool and original mashups during the night which we really enjoyed. He was very prepared and professional throughout our experience working with him and gave us all the tools we needed to outline our "must plays" and "do not plays" allowing for a level of customization that is up to the couple. We chose to give him some guidance and then trust his experience and craft and we're so happy we did, he helped make the night unforgettable! Thanks Alex!
