DJ Bertie is very talented!! His mixes were great, and he was well organized and a great communicator. Multiple of our wedding guests complimented him.

We booked Alex for our wedding at The Surf Hotel in Buena Vista and you absolutely should too! From the day we inquired about his availability until the last song was played Alex was commited to providing an unforgettable experience for us and our guests. The ceremony music was perfectly choreographed, the dance floor was packed, and the vibes were electric when Alex was showing off his skill mixing and transitioning between songs! We also elected to add the photo booth option from Alex which was run by Melina throughout the night - it turned out to be quite popular and she was so sweet and patient to everyone! All the talent and energy Alex brought our wedding made the night, don't pass him up!

DJ Bertie was great for our wedding at Copper Mountain, not only playing songs but mixing throughout the entire night to keep everyone on the dance floor. He was organized and helpful during planning, and worked ours and our guests' song requests into his playlists seamlessly. Thank you for the awesome tunes, Alex!

Alex was extremely easy to work with and we loved the fact that he was equipped to do everything we needed for our wedding. From the ceremony to reception to all our special requests, he was incredibly professional and hit the mark! Alex (DJ Bertie) was one of the best wedding decision and vendors we hired. He absolutely crushed it. My husband and I are both big dancers and were most looking forward to a lit dancefloor. From beginning to end Alex turned it up and kept everyone out there. He actually mixes music and builds transition, so no song is on for too long and every song vibes into the next. We had 100 people on the dancefloor the whole time. Almost every guest came up to us and said this was the funnest dancefloor they'd ever been on and that is 100% credit to Alex.

DJ Alex was superb! Music was amazing, attention to detail was amazing! We didn't have a wedding planner but Alex's experience and professionalism allowed our day to be perfect! (if I ever have to get married again I'd hire him - jk wife) In all honesty I've had experience with multiple DJ's in the past and alex left them all in the dust. AND - lighting was epic. thanks Alex!

WOW. DJ Bertie absolutely crushed it at our wedding in Buena Vista. From the first song to the last, the energy never dipped. He had the dance floor packed the ENTIRE night. The transitions and song choices were amazing and he somehow knew exactly what our crowd wanted before they did. Seriously, felt like a private concert than just a wedding DJ. DJ Bertie was very easy to communicate with, he always replied quickly. I would definitely recommend him, he was so helpful in planning the timeline and was flexible to everything we wanted. DJ Bertie was amazing! We had so many people come up to us during our wedding and tell us that he was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding. He made all of the mash-ups effortless and had a close pulse on the crowd - our dance floor was full the entire night. He also did an incredible job with the ceremony - one of our processional songs wasn't long enough for everyone to get down the aisle in time and he flawlessly looped the song so that you couldn't even tell it was being repeated (myself-the bride-included)! Would 10/10 recommend for your next event!

We gave DJ Bertie a handful of songs and genres between cocktail hour and dancing and he filled in the gaps fantastic-- guests were dancing before dinner ended. Everything from the planning through the end was seamless. 10/10 would recommend!

DJ Bertie SLAYYYYED!! He did such a great job that not a single one of my wedding guest sat down the entire night. My wedding was a week ago and my dad just called me to tell me how awesome and fun the DJ's music was and that everyone had such a good time. DJ Bertie was our DJ for our wedding in Buena Vista on 9/6/24. He was amazing!! Our venue was a challenge for equipment setup with the amount of space inside the rehearsal space, plus an outdoor ceremony location. Additionally, there was inclement weather towards the end of the evening that slightly disrupted our timeline. Alex handled all of these challenges like a true professional. He adjusted his plans with little notice and brought additional equipment and an associate to ensure each location had excellent sound. He pivoted with the timeline change and offered suggestions for an alternative that ended up being so fun! Also, Alex really just made our reception so so fun! He was clearly very skilled with mixing music and reading the vibe of the group on the dance floor. He brought a full out dance floor lighting system as well which added so much to the vibe! My new husband and I had a blast partying with our guests and are so thankful to Alex for making that possible!!

DJ Bertie was fantastic! He played our wedding reception in Silverthorne and I couldn’t imagine a better person for the job. He put in a lot of effort to plan with us and coordinate before the wedding and then made all of the announcements and songs fit perfectly into the reception. Also if you want a DJ who can really MIX, DJ Bertie is the one for you. I got compliments from so many of our guests about the music selection and transitions. He was playing classics and new hit songs, and flips and edits, and had everyone singing along the whole night. The energy in the room was incredible. It was a really great experience, and I can’t imagine a better DJ for our reception.

Alex was absolutely fantastic for our 6/20/24 wedding! Music was one of the more important elements of our day and Alex exceeded our expectations. Alex is a skilled DJ who was able to read the room of our friends and family, and perfectly mix one song to the next. From the moment we started planning our wedding we wanted a specific mix of two songs for our grand entrance to the reception and Alex perfectly executed that. We can’t recommend him enough!!

We had DJ Bertie at our recent wedding in Frisco Colorado, and by the number of people who said they were sore the next day from dancing so much-- shows just how fun it was. He listened to our music requests, as we were wanting more 80s and 90;s music, as well as our kinda original requests for songs In the ceremony and first dance etc, Our only regret, not booking more time for the music to have played longer.

Alex was fantastic. Really happy we were able to use a local guy, and he definitely exceeded expectations! Would certainly recommend him to anyone in the future. He was communicative on letting us customize just how we wanted.

My WIFE did a phenomenal job researching all of the vendors for our wedding. She and I are regular music goers (40-60 concerts a year, music festivals, etc.) and we wanted a dance floor full of energy. DJ Bertie communicated super clearly and efficiently about needs for the wedding and timeline for speeches, microphone handling. On our big night once the dance started the energy stayed high the entire time until he ended. We approached him zero times with requests, didn't see anyone in our party approach him with any requests. We let DJ Bertie do his thing and he got everyone at the wedding moving. Throughout the night I had multiple people come up to me and say the following items about DJ Bertie and our experience: -"Wow, I don't think I've ever seen a better dance party at a wedding." -"He really takes his job seriously, he's been live mixing this entire time." -"Where did you find him!?!" -"He's been throwing bangers this entire time." (to be clear on this last comment he played everything from oldies to remixed classes to new stuff like Fred again... and due to his live mixing it was seamless. Do yourself a favor and hire DJ Bertie for your wedding or event if you want people to dance. He also helped us with our photo booth process which was a huge hit.

Alex was awesome! He was able to roll with last minute changes to our ceremony and went above and beyond for our reception! He made sure to ask all the important questions before hand so there were no mix ups on the day of. He kept the party going once we started dancing and did a great job responding to the crowd. Alex absolutely crushed it for our wedding in August 2023 - couldn't recommend him more if you're looking throw an unforgettable event. From the pre-event meetings getting on the same page to all of the A/V setup on the big day. He was a pleasure to work with and is an incredibly skilled DJ! We wanted to have a big-time dance party at our wedding and Alex made sure it was a night we will never forget. I would give him 10 stars if I could 😂.

We booked Alex for a wedding in Leadville this fall. He was great to work with and make the entire process nearly painless, even when we pivoted in the final month and requested additional help with providing A/V services at our remote ceremony site. He was patient with our delays and last-minute changes, and did a fantastic job of reading the crowd, accommodating requests, and keeping the energy of the room moving. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat.

Alex was fantastic as our wedding DJ this past June. First off, I have to commend his flexibility. Unbeknownst to us, he and our wedding planner faced day-of challenges head on and he ensured our music was perfect in both volume and quality for our dinner and speeches. He was in great communication with our planner which made for seamless transitions. Once it was party-time, DJ Bertie did such a great job mixing up the classics with some older tunes to keep both our families out on the floor for the majority of the night and then turned up the energy for our younger friends who were sticking around all night. DJ Bertie is next-level because he doesn't just hit play and let a song go until the conclusion. He is actually mixing the songs, blending them and even creating some really cool and original mashups during the night which we really enjoyed. He was very prepared and professional throughout our experience working with him and gave us all the tools we needed to outline our "must plays" and "do not plays" allowing for a level of customization that is up to the couple. We chose to give him some guidance and then trust his experience and craft and we're so happy we did, he helped make the night unforgettable! Thanks Alex!

Best DJ in the Valley! Alex is extremely organized and professional. He made sure all boxes were checked from announcing the wedding party in, to the couples dance, bouquet toss, cake cutting, and dance floor music. Friends and family at the wedding raved about how good the music was, and this was in part to Alex taking the time and asking about music request and overall wedding theme. The BEST time!! We wavered forever about whether to book a band or a DJ and ultimately after talking to Bertie, decided that he was the best fit for us. And, hands down, the best decision. People were on the dance floor from the moment the reception began. We still have people talking about how much fun DJ Bertie was and how great it was to not have your typical, boring, wedding DJ. We loved DJ Bertie! He was so incredibly helpful for our wedding, from the moment we initially reached out to discuss thoughts, to the night of. He was on top of all of the coordination and communication and really listened to what we wanted. He had never been to our venue before but that didn't matter!
