and what kind of party we were trying to host. Bill is extremely personable. Our phone call before hand with him was so fun and we knew we hired the right DJ just off that call. The wedding ceremony music, the dinner music and the partying music was exactly what we wanted. Bill definitely got the people up and dancing. EVERYBODY at the wedding was commenting on how awesome the DJ was during the wedding and for the weeks following. We can't recommend Bill enough. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

He also noticed our cake was melting and came to find us to let us know we should move the cake cutting up on our schedule. During dinner he came to check in on us and I asked him to help us move our guest book that had not been seen by guests and he found the perfect spot for us! The music at cocktail hour and dinner were fantastic and the music for dancing was a blast! Thank you Bill for going way above and beyond at our wedding! I would highly recommend him!

Bill also scheduled a phone call with us the week leading up to our wedding, at the end of which we were confident he understood our vision for the night. On the day of, the music was what we hoped for and mixed in a way that engaged our guests and kept people on the dance floor. He also did a great job of running point throughout the night, and keeping us and the wedding party aware of next steps. We certainly recommend Bill and his company to anyone considering them.

his LED mask were all a hit. O and you can not forget his DJing - the music and how he transitioned and MCed the event was ultimate perfection and nothing less. I would hire Bill over and over again if I could. Nobody wanted to leave the dance floor and I don't think I have ever been to a wedding where more people were dancing and not leaving the dance floor area. Bill was so adaptable and made the planning leading up to the event so stress free as well. The sound quality and lighting were top notch. His online web portal was easy to use and update with song selections/itinerary for the day of. I would give Bill a 10/5 stars.

He noticed they weren't around and personally came to me and asked if he should replay when they come back. It wasn't a major ordeal, so the fact that he was so attentive and noticed (there were many other little touches that he made absolutely perfect as well) is so special to have in a vendor. You can tell he loves what he does and he truly connects with you as a client and really strives to make everything perfect for you... from the timeline, to special songs, requested songs, to name pronunciations (we had some difficult ones and he NAILED IT!). So many guests asked who he was so they could recommend. Hey, I don't dance (ever...) and he had me on the dance floor all night with his mixing! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Bill!!

On the day of the wedding he showed up on site a couple hours before the ceremony to get everything prepared (which was kind of a big task as he had to set up equipment outside, in the reception hall, and also in the separate space where the cocktail hour was held). His skills as both a DJ and an MC are unmatched. Honestly, having someone at the wedding with his level of professionalism and experience was a HUGE weight off of our shoulders. We didn't have a planner or a day-of coordinator, so we were a bit worried about keeping track of the timeline and making sure everyone knew where they needed to be, but we really never even needed to worry about it because Bill was totally on it every step of the way. He went out of his way to rally the necessary folks before each of the major events (ceremony/introductions/toasts/etc). I cannot possibly recommend Bill strongly enough to anyone out there looking for an awesome DJ.

DJ at Matrix Nightclub. To have a DJ at your wedding that used to pack clubs makes perfect sense. DJ Bill Bara is unlike any other wedding DJ you've ever seen. Bill is great to work with because he is very organized and listens carefully to your vision. He was able to easily understand what we wanted for our day and execute it for the wedding. All of my guests asked me who he was and commented on the awesome job he did. At the last minute, I realized I needed mics for my outdoor ceremony at another venue. Without hesitation, Bill took on this task. He also provided lighting for my wedding that looked great. If you want your dance floor packed all night, book DJ Bill today!

He was very professional, courteous, and personable. He kept the flow of the wedding moving and made sure we were on task for certain things (bouquet toss, garter, etc.) without being pushy or rude. The planning process with him was great. Bill has a webpage that you sign into as a customer and are able to enter the songs you would like to be played and more importantly, the songs you do NOT want to be played at your wedding. About a month before the wedding, there is a final meeting in which you confirm your music choices as well as the order of everything in the reception. Bill was very helpful with this and knowing which order would keep things flowing. I feel like I sent a ton of e-mails, especially closer to the wedding, and he was great about promptly returning my e-mails. Bill always made me feel very secure in the planning process. Hire him! He’s awesome!

DJing and looked like he was sincerely enjoying DJing our wedding. He exceeded all of our expectations and our friends stayed and danced until 1:30AM!!! And STILL wanted to keep going. We got countless compliments on how well Bill did and are so grateful for him sharing his talent with us. Working with Bill was incredibly easy because he supplies you with your own website to list all the songs you want played at your wedding and you also meet with Bill to finalize everything. Bill met with us just before the wedding and we finalized all of the details and our requests. When we didn't know a good song for a specific part of the night, he had tons of suggestions. I by far had the best wedding ever and it wouldn't have been possible without DJ Bill Bara!

ced anyone sit down from the dance floor, and he somehow spun right out of that song so quickly and smoothly that everyone was right back on the dance floor. He put together a speaker loaded with music for our cocktail hour, which was in a separate room. Then he stayed a full hour late and no one left the dance floor! The reception was supposed to end at 11PM, but the captain of our venue staff told us the DJ could continue to play because everyone was still dancing. At 11:45PM the captain told me he never expected us to continue to party for so long, and he was going to have to ask the DJ to stop so they'd have enough time to prepare the room for the 8am brunch event they had the next morning! (and there was no alcohol being served after 11pm!) On top of that, Bill is so easy and fun to work with. He's so excited to work with his couples and really enjoys what he does. He's responsive and professional. He only played 1 song from my "do not play" list, but that was because my Maid-of-Honor requested it to make fun of me! Bill even accommodated last-second changes to our bridal party introductions because they wanted to surprise us! Choosing Bill Bara as our DJ was hands down the best decision we made in our entire planning process.
