We had an incredible experience with Bill Scheivert Entertainment. He was so responsive and easy to work with. He accommodated all of our requests and made our ceremony flow perfectly. His platform was so easy to use and he had virtually every song we could have wanted. Our speeches, dances, cake cutting, all of it went smoothly because of Bill. He is the best!! AMAZING!!!! He was great from the start, communication was great! If I had a question, he was right there with an answer for me. My main goal was to have people out on the dance floor all night, which he did do that for me! By the end of the night we wanted just 1 more song and he again did that! I also had a request for when we got announced and he made sure that was done for me as well. We added on the photo booth Bill has and that was a huge hit! All of our guests loved it!! wow wow wow, Bill was amazing. He was a referral from a friend and boy did he not disappoint. We booked him from ceremony to end. We received a time line ahead of wedding day, list of songs, link for our guests to request songs (that we had access to deny) and he had every song that we wanted including a special song for our first dance that I only found via video. Everyone was out of their chairs and moving! Just what you want! Fantastic!!!!

Bill Scheivert was AMAZING to work with for our October 20 wedding. My husband and I are not huge dancers and didn’t know where to start with looking for a DJ but we wanted to hire a DJ for our guests to enjoy. We talked to a couple of DJs but loved Bills energy, knowledge, and his experience. He had the majority of our guests, some who also are not dancers, and us on the dance floor all night! He took all of our requests into consideration and made an amazing set of songs that followed the exact vibe we were looking for but also kept people interested and dancing. He was also great at announcing everything on time, has great energy when announcing our introductions, and was very upbeat and energetic the whole night. He makes selecting songs to play, not to play, and preferences very easy and accessible through his online program as well. Working with Bill for our wedding was unbelievably easy. The website he makes each couple for their event was very easy to navigate, and was a helpful tool for us to know which parts throughout the night to plan for and what songs need to be selected in order to make our wedding personal and run smoothly. Having never been married before, it was incredibly helpful to see a drop-down list of events, traditions, people, etc. that we may have to account for and could choose to do/ opt out of for our own wedding, all laid out through the website he created for us. Whenever we emailed Bill with a question, he responded almost immediately and was to the point. He works with our venue, Kings Mills in Media, very often so we easily trusted him to know how to navigate set up and any potential problems that may have come up. On the day of the wedding, he was friendly, professional, had good, high energy, and played all the songs we asked him to. Our venue recommended Bill as a DJ for our wedding and he was fantastic! From the first outreach to the wedding, Bill was incredibly responsive to all our questions (we always received a response within 24 hours) and he did a great job incorporating our music requests while reading the room and keeping guests on the dance floor. Plus, he was flexible and easygoing during the event, even when we changed up the announcements for group photos, cake, etc. a few times. We received tons of compliments from our guests on "our" music selection during cocktail hour, even though the only instructions we gave Bill to work with was "please play Sinatra and Dean Martin type music during cocktail hour." Also, there was even one song that we mentioned in our call that was one of our favorites but was not a dance song, yet he managed to find a time to play it during the event! We had a great day, and Bill's professionalism and great DJing was no small part of that! We highly recommend him!

Bill Scheivert recently DJ'ed my wife and I's wedding on May 21st, 2022. As someone who is very particular about music, hiring a DJ was something I was weary of because I wanted the songs that I wanted played to be played, and only those songs. I definitely did not want some DJ that was going to abandon my requests and go off and do his own thing. Bill played every single song I requested and played them in an order that turned the night into an absolute party. He never once made me feel bad because of how particular I was either, which I also appreciated. From the beginning of our wedding planning, Bill was always our vendor that responded the fastest. Whenever we had a question it was answered within a few hours. On wedding day, he was there early setting up and getting everything in order. He was also an incredible MC. Whenever the crowd's attention needed to be drawn to something, such as cake cutting, he had control. There is just no other way to put it than that Bill is the guy you want DJing your wedding. His motto is "your wedding, your way" and I know now that he absolutely means that. Whatever your vision is, he will make it happen. I would recommend Bill to anyone.

Bill was the best from start to finish. His pre-planning procedure for the day was very easy too. His performance throughout the entire reception was top shelf. He was very organized throughout the entire reception yet was flexible when an unexpected guess appeared and he had to fit them in the day’s plan. My wedding was on Saturday and Bill killed it!! My one request was to have people dancing all night and he did just that. He was friendly, happily answered all my questions while planning (there were many questions lol) and made the night run as smooth as possible. Highly recommend!!!

Full disclosure, it's been 3 years since our wedding - BUT - people still rave about how excellent the music and DJ were. Bill was fun, accommodating (we had a lot of family songs, cultural music, specific "Do not play" requests, etc.), and kept the energy up all night! I did not sit down once. I wish we could hire him for all of our events. I know we wouldn't have had this experience with anyone else. If you are looking for the best, look no further!

He was a really great guy and very easy to talk with. He was punctual and had all of our requested songs for the ceremony and reception (walking down the aisle, reception entrance, first dances, etc). When we talked on the phone I told him that a lot of our friends are kids of the 90s and we didn't really get that music until the very end of the reception after many people had left. The music was made for a generation a decade or two older than us.

Bill Scheivert Entertainment, LLC was super easy to work with leading up to our wedding on October 10, 2020. They always responded to my questions promptly and once the contract was in place, it was smooth sailing. The pricing is absolutely reasonable—especially compared to some of the other quotes we received. We had Scott as our DJ for our event and he was awesome! Bill checked-in with me the week prior to our wedding day and Scott gave me a call to make sure we were on the same page. He kept the party going the entire reception and made sure he was prepared with our “must-play” songs. My side of the family is Hispanic so I wanted to make sure we had songs they’d appreciate and Scott did not disappoint. Scott was punctual and professional and even shared a funny story after the reception about an interaction he had with some of my family members. He was very friendly and ensured I didn’t have to worry about a thing. He knew exactly what he was doing and the sound quality was perfect. We were extremely happy with his work!

Bill is a super nice guy and extremely easy to work with and provides very reasonable pricing. He is super flexible with payment method (cash, check, PayPal, Venmo), song choices (use of acoustic, covers, instrumentals, etc.) and is more than willing to work with you to make sure he understands what you want (e.g. must play, do not play, etc.). There was one little slip up in the intros to the reception (each of our bridal party entered to their own song), but otherwise our ceremony went perfectly and our dance floor was packed throughout the entire reception.

We hired Bill for our son's December 2019 wedding at Kings Mills, in Media, PA, and he was FANTASTIC! First, he was easy to work with from start to finish. Secondly, he had a very helpful website that my son and daughter-in-law used to review and select reception songs. He was a great announcer as well and kept the party going all night. We would recommend him to anyone and plan to use him again.

Our DJ was Jerry and he did an awesome job getting people dancing. He provided us with some great ideas and different spins on typical wedding classics. We also had some very specific versions of songs we wanted played during important moments and he was able to find and download them and make those moments perfect!

Bill and John were great! I am some what of a music enthusiast and cared a lot about the music played at the wedding. I made a playlist and John played all the music, and even when more music was needed he was able to match the mood I was trying to create with the playlist. Great pick for a wedding in Philly/Delaware/New Jersey area. Bill uses a website that you can coordinate events with songs (i.e. what music should play for father/bride dance), you can also use it to create a general playlist, or you can just let him handle it. Bill kept the dance floor full all night, we got many compliments from guests on how much fun they had. Bill was very flexible with when he needed the information by and didn't require payment until the day of the reception - it helps a lot when coordinating with so many different vendors that one can be as easy to work with as Bill was.

A major part of any wedding ceremony hinges on the work of the DJ. The DJ needs to understand what the bride and groom want, needs to understand an entire room of guests and get a feel for their energy, and most importantly, the DJ is in charge of making the evening a “party.” Bill Scheivert did all of those things and made our party the most exciting evening of our lives to this point. We both judge weddings by how much dancing goes on at the reception and how late the guests stay out on the dance floor. Thanks to Bill’s expertise, the dance floor was never empty, and the dance floor was still packed as the final song played over the speakers. Dealing with Bill was always a pleasure as well. Making payments, selecting our songs, planning entrances, etc. Everything was quick and easy, which is exactly what a couple needs while preparing for the biggest day of their lives. We had enough confidence in Bill that instead of laying out 50 songs we “had to have,” we more or less did the bare minimum and left the playlist up to him, and we have no regrets in that decision. That is what a great DJ is all about. As a bonus, Bill also provided some lighting which showed our named on the wall with some decorative design around it. We picked this from a catalogue that he provided which gave us a number of great options to find that perfect lighting. Almost every single person we spoke with commented on how great this display looked. We agreed completely with them, and are looking forward to seeing them in our pictures. Bill Scheivert helped to make my wedding wonderful. He was easy to contact by email and fast to reply and his planning forms made setting up the music for the ceremony and the reception super easy. He played a variety of music, so people of all ages had something to dance to, and helped make sure that everything went smoothly with his MCing. Bill also allowed me to send him some MP3s of music recorded by friends and family to help my wedding day be extra personal.

First we looked at the larger dj companies and they were not sitting right with us so we found this guy. It is just him and that allows him to be very nice and personable. He was always easy to get in touch with and worked with us to create the music and lighting that we desired. Also, really reasonable price.

Bill was great at my Kings Mills wedding this winter. He had every song I wanted and kept my wedding fun with everyone dancing! I would highly recommend working with Bill for your party or wedding!

I think the two most important things at a wedding, the two things that everyone who attends the wedding remembers most, are the food and the music. Bill helped to make our wedding memorable and amazing for all who atteneded. We were able to customize our songs, from the songs that HAD to be played, to the ones that we didn't want to hear. Bill added his own custom touches and everything was perfect! Just about everyone in the place was out on the dance floor. Bill's website was easy to use, and linked to the songs so we knew we were picking the song we wanted. We even threw in a few curve balls, selecting versions of songs that were hard to find and Bill came though. The day was perfect!

Bill is so easy to work with. He is always there to answer any questions and also to help in any other way he can. He did such a great job at our wedding. Kept the dancing floor moving. I highly recommend Bill to anyone!!

We used Bill Scheivert for our New Year's eve wedding, and were overall very happy with his services. His pricing was extremely reasonable, and unlike most everyone else, he did not jack up his prices because it was a holiday. He has a great website with a selection of his music on it (though he has much more than what's on the website), and was very open to any suggestions we might have. Our only complaints are that he didn't play all the songs on our must-play list and that he had to be reminded to make a few of the announcements we wanted him to make. These problems probably could have been solved with more/better communication beforehand, which is partly our fault-- we didn't know what we were doing since we'd never hired a DJ before, but some more guidance/questions from him about how we wanted things to be run would have been useful. He's very laid-back, but maybe a bit too much for us! He did have a great lead-up to new year's, though, and people were on the dance floor all night long, so he made it a great party and we were really happy overall!

Played everything we asked, directed us when we needed direction & so personable. Would def reccommend him!!!!

Bill was a good dj. He adapted to the rain on our wedding day even though our wedding ceremony was outside.

Bill was super easy to work with and was a good quality DJ. He did everything that we wanted him to and made helpful suggestions along the way. All in all he was a perfect fit for us on our wedding day! Highly recommended

Bill did a great job at our wedding. He played exactly what we wanted when we wanted. He listened to us and sought us out if anything was in question. He coordinated well with a singer, music in several rooms, and our schedule. Everyone had a GREAT time dancing - overall a perfect experience! Great value, great service!

Bill Scheivert did an amazing job at my reception! He was so professional and played everything that I asked him to. He did a great job at getting people on the dance floor and getting the party started without getting in the way. We made it clear that we wanted all of our music appropriate for children and he did a great job of keeping everything clean and edited. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

Bill was reasonably priced, nice to work with and accomplished the only goal I gave him which was to play music that would get people dancing. He also did a nice job making the announcements etc at the reception

Bill was extremely affordable and such a great value for his rates! My husband and I were extremely happy with the music and we received so many compliments afterward regarding it! I'd recommend Bill for any event!

Having been a DJ in a previous life, I know a good one when I see one, and Bill convinced me from my first meeting with him that he was a good one. I had every confidence in him when I hired him, and he certainly came through on everything that was asked of him! His prices are more than reasonable, and he's not a typical predatory wedding vendor that throws in hidden charges at the last minute. The bill was what the contract said it would be! As far as the music selection is concerned, he was extremely receptive to what we wanted, he played what we asked him to play, and he observed the do not play list. His own DJing and musical instincts helped him keep the dance floor packed. He made great musical choices beyond what was asked of him, and we received many compliments on how eclectic the selection was, from rap to pop to Jewish hora music (which my family was thrilled to hear!). I danced my behind off, as did the rest of my guests! I would recommend Bill's services any day anytime to anybody. He was a pleasure to work with, and I hope to do so again when the opportunity presents itself!

Bill provided his services for our July 4th wedding this summer, and we couldn't have been happier. We worked with Bill over the phone from day 1, him being in Pennsylania and my husband and I living in Virginia. Some thought we were crazy by not getting the chance to make the 3 hour trip to meet with him, but we were confident after our first conversation with him. Not only was Bill extremely reliable, returned every phone call, every email and answered a gazillion questions, but he also was sure to put in his professional expertise. My husband and I had a long list of songs that we both wanted to hear, but were a bit skeptical on how some of them would keep the dance floor full. After several conversations with Bill we had a perfect list. He was sure to let us know his experiences with certain songs and those in which he felt would keep the dance floor packed. Bill provided the ceremony music which was wonderful, and once the reception started to come to an end we couldn't get folks off of the dance floor! He was sure to do everything we could to keep our night nothing but full on entertainment and we couldnt have asked for anything more. I would like to highely recommend Bill Scheivert for any occasion in which you want to hear great music and be fully entertained!
