We mic-up both the officiant and the groom(bride is picked up by the grooms mic), to ensure that everyone can hear perfectly & we can record the ceremony in digital audio.

DJ Jimmi Bones and his wife Ann are a great combo. They are very knowledgeable in the business. I chose him based on his other reviews. A few mentions that his wife was their "day-...
of -coordinator". This was my first wedding I have no clue what to do, or how it works. I know how to host karaoke, but there is so much involved in wedding planning. I asked if Ann would be my day-of-coordinator. She said she doesn't do it anymore but accepted my offer. I'm hoping she would do more of this because she really worked well with all the vendors and everyone knows how important it is for the DJ to make announcements, she executed everything on schedule and everyone listened when she made suggestions because it made sense. DJ Jimmi Bones executed my Playlist flawlessly and with perfect volume. The officiant, I (the Bride) and Groom were mic'd up during the ceremony. Even recieved a usb recording of it. Gona put recording together with a collage of pics to sent to my dad whom couldn't attend due to health issues. Everyone was impressed by his performance. He had a pleasant attitude ever since I made the initial call. My wedding was more that what I ever imagined it would be, and a big part , was the entertainment. Keep up the great work! Everyone including the other vendors had an awesome time that night! And the most important thing was to leave it to the pros (your vendors) this is what they do and if you allow them to do it you won't be disappointed, you will enjoy YOUR NIGHT. I sure did thanks to DJ Bones.
Jimi and Anne (his wife/our day of coordinator) were so so SO great to have for our wedding day. Anne was a wonderful coordinator and went above and beyond to make our day go flawl...
essly. She was also very catering to our elderly guests which was highly appreciated. Jimi has an incredible set up to provide the most beautiful music and lighting In your venue. He also created our family monogram that was such unique feature to our wedding! They are an excellent addition to your wedding day!

of my guest were blown away, and told me how much they enjoyed the performance. Not only did he keep the music pumping he help fix several of the issues that came up during the wedding. I cannot tell how much he went above and beyond being the DJ. The lighting he provided help really add to the atmosphere, and the mics he placed on the groom and preacher enabled everyone to hear the ceremony. The cloud dance was amazing, and the light monogram gave the room just the right touch. Jimi my wife and I want to thank you for making the wedding a huge success, you are the greatest!!!

r experience of 1000+ weddings, they were able to offer us valuable advice about how to pick vendors, how to best structure the reception, and more. Jimi was readily available through phone, email, and texting. When the reception rolled around, DJ Bones had the dance floor rocking all night! Many of our guests have shared with us that he was the best DJ they have experienced! My husband and I would hire him again in a heartbeat!!

Jimi is awesome, best yet was the memory stick with our wedding recorded and all our songs. Will so go back to him.
DJ Bones was fantastic to work with. He was always available for questions or concerns, including 3 song changes I made the week before the wedding. He had all of his equipment set...
up and ready by the rehearsal the night before the ceremony, and recorded everything for us. We had some live music during the ceremony, and as a precaution DJ Bones suggested having backup songs ready with him too. His attention to details like this left us with no worries the day of the wedding. He did an excellent job directing guests and maintaining the flow during the reception, and everyone enjoyed the Tophats and Tiaras game as well. Initially, I booked with DJ Bones because he came recommended by my venue and planner, and seemed very professional, well equipped, and offered the most fun add ons. After working with him I found he was everything he claimed. The games were fun, the projected monogram looked nice, and our first dance with the fog machine felt absolutely magical. I would highly recommend DJ Bones for any event, and look forward to working with him again in the future.

e day before to finalize the details. He even stayed for the rehearsal on his own time to make us feel more comfortable. I didn’t give the music a second thought on the wedding day. Our reception didn’t last as long as we had planned for for, but Jimi was still mixing the best dance songs for all generations! I’ve had so many of our guests actually message us and tell us, they loved how versatile the music was! Just absolutely amazed with the fluidity of the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! ties. We actually used him for our company Christmas party, which hosted over 60 employees plus their guests. DJ Bones was able to negotiate with our venue contact to be able to set up early, and he had the party going before people arrived. He played a wide array of music types, and this year we had the most people ever on the dance floor. Even his sweet wife helped out by joining in on the dancing and encouraging others to enjoy the fun. There is a reason this DJ is highly rated, and we already know we will be using him again next year. Guests all the way up to our General Manager were impressed.
If you’re getting married, having a birthday bash or any other type of event DJ Bones is the man you want to hire. Very thorough and skilled at what he does. I recently got married...
on 12-8-18 and I had one job and that was to find a DJ. I found DJ bones and so thankful I did. He had everyone up dancing all night long even with all the snow that was coming down in Shelby that night. He’s done over 900+ weddings and you can definitely tell because he knows everything that could possibly go wrong with your special day and makes sure you’re prepared. He has all the latest equipment and an awesome fog machine. If you want to hire a professional DJ at a reasonable cost this is your guy. I know I’ll be hiring him for all my events that I need him for. I had so many compliments from everyone at the wedding on how great DJ Bones was. Thanks for making our day that much more special.

r wedding in Charlotte, NC. As expected, he was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process! Our wedding was actually postponed in September due to a hurricane, and Jimi was so accommodating with helping us get everything rescheduled. The music at the ceremony & reception were perfect & Jimi kept the party rocking the entire night. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!!
Jimi and Anne were both super helpful through our entire planning of the wedding and also on our wedding day. We hired Jimi for the DJ and his wife Anne for the day of coordinator,...
she was very organized and even made me a day of timeline that helped us keep on schedule. They were great to work with and again super helpful! A week before the wedding they both met me for dinner to go over the details which I was very appreciative for because they drove to me as well as set me at ease for my big day! Jimi took down and helped me by giving me song suggestions for the ceremony and the reception and we ended up choosing a lot of his suggestion. I recommend hiring them both, they made my big day run smoothly and worry free! Anne made sure to take care of everything for me and I as the bride had nobody coming up to me with issues so I had a great day in all that again was worry free thanks to Anne!

DJ Bones absolutely crushed our wedding. He mic'd up the officiant and myself for the ceremony, which everyone loved so they could actually hear what was being said during the cere...
mony. The music at the reception was great; he knew exactly what to play to get guests on the dance floor.
Also, he had told me after the wedding that his computer froze during the reception because he had let a staff member charge their phone via his computer. With that said, nobody nor myself had any idea he was having technical problems. The music continued to play, and he was still able to take requests.
Jimi is the type of DJ who wants the best for the bride and groom. He'll certainly give you some advice and tell you a few stories about his past weddings, but you can tell he's very passionate about what he does.
His price is competitive and the service you get from him is worth every penny. I highly recommend DJ Bones.
Jimi and Anne made my wedding day exactly like I had planned! They were extremely coordinated and were able improvise on the spot when needed. Very professional but also down to ea...
rth when we had moments to relax in between. They were able to show my husband and I different view points of how things could go without us knowing that's actually how we wanted it instead of the way we thought we wanted it. Very knowledgeable on all genre's of music, nobody was in their seats when they were playing. Definitely would recommend to anyone for any occasion!

ing what all needed to be done with our wedding, Jimi and his wife were quick to jump in with suggestions/recommendations based on their clearly extensive experience with weddings and other events. Not to mention his signature spins, scratches, and mash-ups on songs we all know and love; DJ Bones didn't just queue up a few tracks on a playlist, he created an experience.
With Bones turning the tables and his wife helping coordinate, I really can't see how our event could have been any better!
Jimi was so easy to work with, very responsive, and did a great job for our wedding! The audio at our outdoor ceremony was clear and all our guests commented that they were able to...
actually hear what was going on! He set up an awesome show at our indoor reception too. Lights around the room, and even lit up the fireplace. He has so many ideas about ways to entertain your guests during the reception with games and dances. There was not one moment the dance floor was empty! Very happy we hired DJ Bones!

wife! They provide beyond quality service. We had two different venues for our ceremony and reception and DJ Bones provided music/sound for both venues. There was a scheduling error with my reception venue and he took care of the issue and made sure he was ready for the reception even with the unexpected setback. DJ Bones is someone you can trust, he's an honest business owner, he will go above and beyond for your event, he will provide quality service and affordable pricing. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about him. Thank you so much for your work! You've made a lifelong client with us.

s, the games, the music, and the announcing all layered together on our special day. It went so well because DJ Bones put in the time and effort before the wedding to learn about my wife and I, what music we liked, and how we saw this special day coming together. He provided significant insight into what to do and what not to do in planning the evening without pressuring us into a decision. Brilliant job Jimi and Anne! Thank you for helping make our special day perfect!
