DJ Bootz was the best! Having been to 11 weddings this year I am reminded how important a good DJ is. Not only did he play all the right music to keep everyone on the dance floor he also kept our night moving according to our timeline, had a great "stage presence", ensured all our speeches could be heard and was over all just a great vibe on our day! He was also very responsive and easy to coordinate with in the planning process. Book DJ Bootz for your wedding!

DJ Bootz flat out rocket it at our wedding. JR was organized, responsive, and detail-oriented leading up to our wedding. Because of bad weather we had to move our planned outside dinner inside, and within 24 hours of the wedding JR kindly agreed to play some background music while our guests ate. When the dancing portion of the evening rolled around it was an all-out dance party – EVERYONE was on the dance floor! He played our requests and incorporated a good mix of new songs. Guests are still commenting on how fun the dancing was. Thank you, JR, for making our night so special!

This is an artist who is critically unprofessional & disrespectful. False reassurance & no true care for this industry. J-R is not one of those people who I ever wish to book or see again after he ruined my wife's dream wedding. He is somebody who cares not about your time or the money you are paying because he will not even show up to your ceremony until it's already over. This means that due to his error, we had a silent wedding & no music for the aisle walk. His service was beyond bad as he then attempted to coerce me & my wife with both separate stories as to how he got the mountains confused. (He is supposedly a local) We did not believe either of his two different stories. This isn't even the worst part about all of this; when he finally showed up to the reception he not only listened to people at OUR wedding about what music to play, he even had the audacity to play the WRONG entrance song. This is just completely unacceptable. He ruined my wife & I's wedding and we wholeheartedly hope that you do NOT book with this utter clown. We will never forget how hurtful this man was to my family.

He literally didn’t show up for our ceremony. Thank god our wedding planner had a speaker for the music but our wedding party couldn’t hear their cues & our officiant didn’t have a microphone so it was hard for our guests to hear him. Then he played the wrong entrance song when we got to the reception. We specified several times that we were not doing any first dances. Unbeknownst to my husband & I, my MIL approached him during the reception about clearing the dance floor for a private dance with her and my husband & he did as she asked even though she was not the one paying him, we were & it was against our wishes. He approached both my husband & I separately at the reception to explain away him showing up at the wrong mountain for the ceremony but he didn’t actually apologize for it to either of us. Just basically said it is what it is. Nice guy but we wouldn’t recommend hiring him for your big day. I’ve never left a bad review in my life but this is something couples deserve to know. The special songs we had chosen years ago for our ceremony are mildly tainted for me now because I just get upset when hearing them / thinking about it. Spend your money elsewhere.

We hired DJ Bootz for our wedding in June, based on the stellar reviews. Unfortunately, we did not have the same experience that others did. JR is a very nice guy, and we felt we were in the right hands after speaking with him on the phone. On the day of, however, almost nothing went according to plan. Even before the wedding, we got a text that J.R. had gone to the wrong address in a different town. He arrived 45 minutes late, but was able to set up just in time. During the procession, he for some reason faded the music out so that the bride walked down the aisle in an awkward silence. For the wedding party entrance to dinner, we asked him to play "Feeling Good," and time the intros so that the bride and groom entered on the chorus. Instead, he played the first ten seconds of the song, over and over again, stopping and starting each time. We were supposed to cut our wedding cake to a specific song, but he didn't play it. Same thing with pouring of the champagne. He announced the first dances out of order twice, and then didn't announce the last one at all, so the bride had to do it herself. The dancing music was mostly what we asked for, however we specified no country except for one particular song. He didn't play that song, but he did play country. Frankly, every task he was charged with did not go as planned. Again, he is a very nice guy, but we cannot in good conscious recommend him as a DJ.

DJ Bootz was fantastic! He was so prepared and lovely to work with. We filled out a questionnaire with our music selections and preferences and he took it and created the perfect ambiance all night. His lighting setup was a bonus and enhanced the whole experience. We had such a great time and would definitely work with Bootz again!

DJ Bootz was fantastic! He was extremely professional leading up to and during our wedding, and his "DJ sense" kept people on the dance floor the entire night! He knew exactly what music to play to keep the party going. We would highly recommend him to anyone in search of a DJ!

Ontime, professional, great MC for my wedding. I gave him a list of songs I knew my family would love to hear and he mixed them in throughout the evening at appropriate times. Played great music that packed the dance floor. Our toasts went longer then expected and he handle it beautiful adjusting the timeline of the even so everything went off with out a hitch. no regrets in hiring him. my wedding guest were very impressed.

DJ Bootz is the best! Very professional in helping plan our wedding day and dressed so nicely I almost thought he was a wedding guest! Everything with DJ Bootz went very smoothly, he did a great job helping us narrow down all our music selections and once I finally made it to the dance floor I didn't want to leave. Coordinating with him was the easiest part of the wedding and he did a fantastic job, highly recommend working with him!

DJ Bootz was phenomenal!!! My husband and I can't believe how much fun we had at our wedding. Both of our families and friends danced so much at the reception! We truly appreciate all the detailed work DJ Bootz put into our special day. Very professional starting from the day I booked to our wedding day. If I ever need a DJ again I know who to call.

DJ BOOTZ is awesome!! He was on time and he set up really quick. He brought a friend to help make the experience flow nicely. He made it so fun to go out onto the dance floor and dance away. He interacted with us and he is such a nice person! I definitely would recommend DJ BOOTZ for your wedding! You will not regret it. He also is reasonably priced which I loved!

WOW! We got so lucky finding DJ BOOTZ. J.R. has a wealth of experience and listens to what you want. Our wedding was supposed to happen in April 2020, but Covid. We postponed to August 2020 and J.R. was able to accomodate us. Even with restrictions on dancing, he kept the reception lively and read the crowd perfectly. He also did our ceremony music and never missed a beat. Everything went off without a hitch and I could not be more pleased about everything! Stop your search for a DJ and book DJ BOOTZ!

We loved working with James! He helped us navigate our COVID compliant wedding seamlessly. He gave great suggestions and has a great voice to announce you! We have recommended him to a couple of friends who just got engaged so we will hopefully see him again!

James was the perfect DJ for our event! He has a great, friendly personality and had a lot of good questions at the pre-wedding meeting. His questionnaire is very comprehensive and helped us to think about things we hadn't considered prior to filling it out. On the day of, he was flexible in that there was no WiFi at the location, and we barely noticed some changes he had to make because of that. He was also very responsive/professional with crowd song requests while also sticking to our preferences and songs that would keep people on the dance floor. Overall would definitely recommend him!
