I got married earlier this year and we booked John to DJ our wedding. Him and his wife were super friendly and great at the MCing part. They were also super reasonably priced.
BUT...
, I was very specific and clear with certain songs I wanted to play and at what times. They cut out the beautiful intro of my aisle song and cut the end out of our first dance song. Both big important songs. It wasn’t a huge deal. Obviously our guests would have never known that the songs started and ended at the wrong parts. But it did really take away from our special moments. They also switched between songs sloppily at some points. Like one song would end abruptly and then there would be an awkward pause before the next.
Overall, you’re getting what you pay for I guess.

Even though our event turned out much smaller than planned, and many of our guests did not dance (and left early) they played the whole time and were communicative through the whole event to ensure things moved smoothly. When it was time for the reception they did an awesome job. They had everyone dancing. The were so involved. Her brother did the DJ booth and the lights. It all looked and sounded amazing. The photo booth was a huge hit at our wedding too and it was photos we could keep. They were great putting it on social media too, that way we could all see it.
