He uses a very convenient app to help plan and put together the vibe for each portion of the day and we met with him multiple times to make sure everything was squared away. All of his equipment is off-the-grid friendly (multiple batteries, back up-systems, water-proof) and his music library stored locally, making him the perfect choice for a remote wedding. Because he has multiple systems, he was also able to set up at various locations and ensure there was also music going as the guests transitioned between different areas of the venue. We had a very windy day, so Logan helped us quickly pivot from lapel mics to back up handheld mics for the ceremony. Logan made the whole process extremely simple so we could let loose and party the night away!

We were also able to designate which songs were 'must plays' and the order in which we would like them to be played. And this wasn't only just for the dance floor portion of the evening, this was including Pre-Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Dinner music playlists. Logan and his app allowed us to curate the perfect day! He suggested the great idea to get all the guests onto the dance floor for a photo and then to get the dancing started right after while everyone was on the floor -- this was something we hadn't seen before at weddings, but we thought it really was well-executed for kicking off the night and giving us a photo of everybody (that we later sent out as part of our thank you cards). He let me jump on to "DJ" as my husband and I were headed out for sunset pics -- a top memory from the night, especially at Palisades where we had our wedding since the DJ booth is above the dance floor and you can see all the folks vibing to the music. When we got back from sunset pics, I changed into my dancing dress, ran to the floor, and proceeded to dance the rest of the night. Because the dance floor was so lit all night, I forgot to try our desserts and still don't know what those cake pops or donuts that we spent a ridiculous amount of time deliberating on flavors/price/amount tasted like! Thank you Logan for a great wedding and a rad party, it was exactly the energy we were hoping for out of the night!

I really liked that there were was an option to upload your personal playlist for the DJ to choose from, and there is a do not play list! We walked through everything that was going to happen and made sure I had chosen songs for all of the important points of the wedding. I hadn't chosen a few songs yet and he was able to make some great suggestions. He even sent me some of his own playlists to look through which was so helpful. Our wedding flowed so smoothly not only because of the previous meeting but also because Logan would ask me if I approved of something throughout the night. Logan also followed the notes and songs in the app so well and he really read the dance floor so he knew when to change songs and which one to play to keep the mood up! I would definitely recommend DJ Brock and Steele because they are attentive, friendly, professional, and very well organized!

He was always one step ahead and kept the energy on the dance floor up the entire wedding. If he noticed even the slightest lack of interest in a song from our guests dancing, he immediately and seamlessly changed the song/genre. After our wedding, we had many of our family members and guests compliment us on how amazing Logan was! We could not have asked for a more perfect DJ to help us celebrate our big day!

When I first met Logan he reassured us he would play and be there in any weather, well the weather came and he still over delivered. Most of the vendors left early because of the blizzard but he kept our party going. The setup was great, everything was smooth and it was so nice to feel like we were in good hands. We cannot say enough good things!

ding day amazing. We first met remotely a few months before our wedding, where we discussed music ideas, details, and requests for the wedding. Beyond music, Logan served as our MC, supported audio for our ceremony, and coordinated with our wedding planner to meet any other sound/mic needs for the event (ex. Speeches). Logan custom edited our first dance song, curated our entire playlist, and handled song requests/ad-hoc changes to match the mood of the party. The dance floor was hot all night. Great mix of music that had everyone engaged and on the floor. Everyone commented how great the DJ and music selections were (which was 100% Logan’s creation). During the lead up and throughout the whole wedding, Logan gave off confidence and experience, which helped ease any concerns we had.

He made us feel really assured that he had many backups for the tech side, but also emphasized he wanted to make sure songs he played reflected us as a couple (instead of a carbon copy wedding). And noticed he chose songs similar to our taste that made it seamless. The ceremony went so smoothly where our officiant didn't have to worry about microphone logistics. He took the extra step to make sure there was music playing at the top of a ski lift where we were having a cocktail hour. MC was on point! He kept the flow of the reception going and had such a great energy with the dance floor - he read the crowd well on when to keep a song going or to transition to another song if it wasn't a banger + he was dancing along making everyone feel the hype! Praises also came from all of our guests commenting Logan was one of the best DJs/MCs they have ever experienced. A quote from a friend, "Dang that guy was SO GOOD! Will be singing his praises for the rest of my life." Long story short. Book DJ Brock & Steele Weddings!
