Joe is a phenomenal DJ! Our meetings with him leading up to our wedding were comprehensive, focused, and he was incredibly personable from our first phone call to the end of our wedding night. We had a few changes the week of the wedding, and he handled them expertly. My (now) husband took on the task of picking out songs for the day, and everything we chose was played, he even threw in some extras that were perfectly placed. I've been to my fair share of weddings, and I can truly say I've never seen a dance floor packed all night like it was at our wedding. From the moment he opened up the dance floor to the last song, the majority of our guests were dancing all night long. He did a fabulous job reading the room, and we are truly so appreciative of his professionalism and ability to keep a party going! We had so many guests of all ages come up to us and complement the music. We cannot thank Joe enough for making our day all the better and we cannot recommend him enough!

I want to start off by saying DJ Jon was very nice, great at communicating and professional. After booking DJ Butters, we met with Jon on Zoom to go over details. He emailed us examples of music outlines for how we should organize songs we wanted played at our wedding. I am very organized and detail oriented, and spent several hours with my husband putting together our outline. Looking for and deciding on specific songs that we wanted played at our wedding. Having said that, DJ Jon played all of our ceremony songs, first dance song, etc., perfectly. He also did a great job with introductions, getting the crowd excited, etc. However, for our reception, none of the songs we put on the outline were played. On our outline, we were so specific that we outlined songs we wanted played by decade so he could involve all age groups on the dance floor, with many options of songs chosen for each decade. We even included a “late night” section to play once the older crowd left. Now I do have to say, Jon did check in with us multiple times throughout the night asking if everything was going ok, which I appreciated, and of course, looking back, I probably should have spoken up at the time, but I was living in the moment and enjoying my wedding night. After reflecting on it, it just feels as though a “basic wedding playlist” of songs was played during our reception. It was fine, all our guests were dancing and having and good time and I’m sure DJ Jon was just “reading the room” and going with it, but they still were not the songs my husband and I spent a lot of time choosing together. I just feel like why did we waste so much time and energy creating an outline if the songs we wanted weren’t going to be played throughout the night? Maybe the outline is just used for suggestions but I didn’t see it that way. Again, we really liked DJ Jon, but just were not exactly satisfied with that part of it.

DJ Butters did an incredible job as our wedding DJ & Emcee. We highly recommend him. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, and we had several meetings with him before. At the wedding, he kept the dance floor going all night, and chose great songs that our guests loved. Great experience!

DJ Butters was so efficient before the wedding setting up multiple meetings with us and reviewing all the music to make sure it was exactly what we wanted. Our wedding day went so smoothly. We also opted for the 360 camera which was a hit, everyone got a video and they were all sent to me the next day.

Dj Joe was great! He was very personable and he kept the party going all night! I would highly recommend him for any event! He looked out for our best interest all night! I also recommend renting the Photo Booth as well! His son ran it and my guests can’t stop raving about it! The Photo Booth was an absolute hit!

DJ Jon was so great to work with! We met virtually to go through the music selection process. He even reached out to me the morning of to see if I needed anything. Jon was so accommodating and so fun! His announcements and music threw a great party! Everyone had a blast!

Joe and his team made our day so special. He was very accommodating to our requests for unique songs as well as classic wedding dance music. Joe is responsive, personable, and fun. We were so lucky to have such a flexible DJ who listened to our specific wants and requests. So many of our guests raved about the music choices and were able to hear the music that got them on the dance floor.

Joe is the best DJ! I could not believe how many people were dancing at my wedding. He did a phenomenal job as an emcee and played the best dance songs. He was super responsive throughout the entire process and I highly recommend working with him. He also makes awesome vodka sauce!!

John was amazing at our wedding. He did a great mix of music to keep both the older crowd and younger crowd engaged at our wedding. Super easy to talk to and made about wedding go so smoothly. Highly recommend him for your big day!!

Joe did SUCH an amazon job at our wedding June of 2022 at Lake of Isles. He kept the day running smoothly and was very attentive. He kept people on the dance floor right until the very last song which was just what we wanted!

We had an amazing wedding with John. He was wonderful to work with in choosing our songs and helped the day run smoothly. Our guests were dancing all night and he added a lot of extra fun. I highly recommend him for any event!

Joe was fabulous to work with and was answering all of our questions since day 1. He was super patient with us due to covid delaying us for a year but once everything was officially set he was right there with us. He called us a couple days before the wedding to go over the important songs and make sure he had the exact ones that we wanted. He read the crowd well and there was always people on the dance floor. Best thing I liked is he played the songs through just how it is…didn’t try to remix it into another song. We also used their Photobooth services. We provided them with a book and they glued all the stripes to the pages for us. Thank you for everything Joe!!

Joe was very prompt to respond to us and answer our questions from day one! The one thing I wanted was to make sure people were constantly dancing at our wedding, and he delivered! They provided sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and everything in between! We also chose to add on uplighting which made our reception even more fun and kept people dancing. Highly recommend!

Joseph was amazing with the music for the ceremony and reception! He kept the crowd moving and dancing all night and knew exactly how to read the crowd. We also used the photo booth that he offered as an additional service and I was so impressed! He sent us a flash drive with all of the photos from the photo booth and it was the best investment we made!

We had such a good time at our reception with DJ Butters running the show. Everything went smoothly and the music was so good! You could tell that he was watching the room to see what kind of music was energizing people and adjusting to match that. We were worried since we downsized our wedding that people wouldn’t dance but the dance floor was never empty. I definitely recommend hiring DJ Butters.

I was a bridesmaid in my friends wedding this past weekend and the DJ was great. He played the music the couple requested and was really nice and friendly. He encouraged people to get out on the dance floor. 10/10 recommend

DJ Jon Tessman did a fantastic job with our wedding! Before the wedding, he was very helpful in planning out the stages of the day/night and making sure we had every event and song in the right place. He showed up very well-dressed, and arrived early which was a great stress-reliever. Jon handled all of the audio for our beach ceremony at Lighthouse Point Park. Before the ceremony he had light instrumental music playing for the guests via hidden speakers. During the ceremony he played our chosen processional/recessional music right on time, and made sure there was a mic at the front for the officiant. During the reception, he made sure the music was appropriate for each moment and mood. He read the room well and kept so many people on the dance floor the entire night. We had a carousel at our venue, and whenever we would ride it he would have another horse-themed song up his sleeve - hilarious! He was so friendly we would have wanted him at our wedding even if he wasn’t providing the tunes. Jon had the kind of personality you want in a DJ: fun, energetic, and approachable. We cannot recommend him more highly.

I would recommend DJ Butters Entertainment to EVERYONE! Joe was our DJ and MC. He was very professional and thorough. He makes sure to have all the right versions of your songs before the wedding and goes over all the details. He was able to keep up with all the different things we did for our wedding without hesitation. We had an anniversary dance, and shoe game, no garter/bouquet toss and changed up the parent dances. He didn't miss a beat! He was even great with our venue who was... less cooperative (to put it nicely). He also provided laser lights for the dance floor. Our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was if we had anyone else! He and our other kickass vendors made the night! His company does SO MUCH MORE so definitely check it out!

Joe (DJ Butters) was a pleasure to work with and have to DJ our wedding. He was professional, polite and thorough. He paid attention to little details and thought of things I hadn't considered. All the music he played was exactly what we wanted and he kept the dance floor lively until the end of the night. His prices are extremely reasonable. Sound system and some lighting were included. I would highly recommend Joe to anyone getting married or having a big party. Extra special shoutout to Joe for having us be his first Jewish wedding and picking everything up quickly and easily. Just shows how wonderful and adaptable he is.

DJ Butters was great! We booked him many months before our wedding. He offered the best pricing around and included an MC and uplighting into the package without an extra charge. He worked with us to build our entire playlist for our wedding reception because we are metalheads and wanted some more nontraditional music. His MC was fantastic with the games and other events that took place throughout the night. Prior to the reception, we met with Joseph twice and he was the most down to earth, easy to talk to guy. We were super impressed and satisfied with the services we received and would recommend him to others in the future! Thanks Joseph!
