We had given him an idea of the type of music we wanted to hear during the cocktail hour, dinner, and after dinner (everything ranging from Rat Pack to low-key indie to hip-hop and Top 40), and he really listened to our ideas and put a lot of thought into how to make it work. It was also clear that his priority was to make sure that we and the guests were having a great time. For example, he made sure the music wasn't too loud during dinner or the cocktail hour so that people could carry on conversation across the table easily. He also took on-the-spot music requests from our friends, and watched the dance floor to make sure people were enjoying the music. If a song wasn't inspiring people to dance, he would cut it short and put on something else - which everyone really appreciated. More than a dozen of my guests actually came up to me during and right after the wedding to rave about Cam and the music overall. Cam was professional, easy to work with, affordable, a huge hit with our guests, and helped make our wedding as much fun as it was. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Not only is Cam super easy to work with, he exceeded our expectations in his performance on our big day. a cheesy wedding DJ. So, based on their recommendations, we booked him for our wedding after the band we were going to overpay for fell through. Best decision ever. Cam was probably the easiest of our vendors to work with (and we had some really chill ones). We met him for a quick cocktail to talk about our thoughts on the wedding. first, Cam's a really great guy - Dave took an instant liking to him. We chatted about the music we tend to like, that our friends and family typically like, but ultimately our direction ended up going like this: "this is our first dance song, this is our parents song, this is what we want to walk in to. Besides that, we just want people to dance and have a great time." Let me tell you: this guy delivered. Everyone had a great time - my family, the husband's family, our annoying younger cousins, our older family friends, our actual 20-30 something friends. it was a pretty rockin' party - especially when you consider that most of these people (myself included) would normally never be caught dead on a dance floor. He's really good about reading a crowd and understanding what to play next based on the mood of the floor. That's an incredible skill. Plus, we managed to have a wedding free of the chicken dance / Shout / other cheesy songs you always hear at weddings. Cam was worth every penny (plus a few more...).

on my parent's property, we could enjoy the venue as late as we wanted and Cam was willing and able to accommodate our late reception hours. Cam is friendly, personable, and it was easy communicate our tastes and preferences with him before the event. He is a clear, effective MC and he knows how to respond to guests' tastes and energy levels. It was great to see all my friends and family dancing together!
