DJ Casey Kay was such an amazing wedding DJ and Emcee for our August 2026 celebration at Rocky Hill Events. We loved every minute of working with him. He’s professional, kind, and ...
cool as can be. The planning process leading up to the wedding was so thoughtfully designed and well organized. He used an app called Vibo that allowed us to curate a playlist and share song choices, notes, and must plays with him. We met with him probably 3-4 times over Zoom leading up to our wedding, and every time, he was on time, friendly, clear, and fun to talk to. You can tell he truly loves what he does and has a lot of talent. There are a lot of corny DJs out there, but Casey brings the cool factor to your big day. His announcer voice is professional, warm, and friendly. He’s truly just the best at what he does, and we highly recommend him to other couples or businesses in search of your DJ!
Casey was our wedding DJ in summer of 2025. My wife and I are both veteran ravers from the 90s, so we have pretty high expectations for how a DJ commands a dance floor, and Casey ...
delivered in spades.
His communication from the very first contact was absolutely top notch. He listened to us, to our needs, got to know our personality, and really focused on how he could show up for us best. His organization was super on point, he shared web-based tools for us to use for song choice coordination, and other detail based tasks as well, and it was extremely easy to use and made these tasks a breeze.
On the day, his presence from start to finish was the perfect balance of not trying to pull focus and make the day about him, while still being one of the main backbones of the event, making sure announcements, song cues, and overall flow were spot on the money. His personality is warm and fun, and it shone through every time he took the mic to help direct the event in the right direction.
His setup is also sleek and elegant. The DJ booth is simple and clean, the up-lights were a fantastic and brought a lot of life to the party, and his photobooth setup was an absolute blast and got tons of interaction, both really solid additions!
Finally (and most importantly to us music lovers), let's talk about his music. As a musician and DJ myself, I can say without hesitation, Casey has some incredible chops, and *really* knows music. He executed every single song request we had made flawlessly (and some were weird and obscure), and when it came to the dance floor, he made sure all of our wants and needs were met again, while injecting his own keenly instinctive vibe into the set. He knows dance energy and how to harness it, how to bring people out to the floor, and how to make the party glow and shimmer. His charisma as a DJ was just spectacular! We had a few guests who can be extremely critical about music and DJs, and they all had nothing but glowing reviews.
If you're thinking about having Casey as your DJ, I urge you to consider your search complete, because you've found the right person for the job.

him join our vendor team. Having a DJ is so much more than just music for the dance floor. Casey helped with timeline, transitions, and kept the evening flowing super smoothly. I cannot recommend DJ Casey Kay highly enough! I am still over the moon about our wedding this past weekend. Having been to several weddings where the music selection was mediocre ...
at best, I had very strong feelings about what it would take to get people on the dance floor. Our planner immediately recommended Casey, and even I was blown away by exactly how well he matched my expectations. We literally forgot to do our bouquet toss because everyone was having so much fun, including my 90 year old grandmother. He read the vibe so well, and I know we were all disappointed when the night was over. I also had multiple people come up to me throughout the evening to tell me how good our DJ was. As an MC, he was kind, professional, and full of the right kind of energy. And, though we were unsure about his photo booth due to our budget, we were SO thrilled to get all of the pics at the end of the night, and our guests loved it. Equally as importantly, leading up to the wedding, Casey was prompt, organized, and incredibly friendly and helpful. He made our lives much easier and our wedding was a dream. This is the DJ you want at your wedding! 10/10 for DJ Casey Kay for sure.

He nailed the MC transitions from the ceremony/ cocktail hour/ grand entrances/speeches/ first dances/ and open dancing. We highly recommend him to anyone needing a DJ and would book him again in a heartbeat!
