Hello! My hometown of Decatur, GA inspired my DJ name (pronounced: cater). I grew up in the Atlanta area and have been in Los Angeles since 2016. My favorite music genres are Hip Hop + R&B. Although I hail from the South and will always have an affinity to snap and crunk hip hop, I love West coast music, too.
I'm fluent in Spanish and know how to spice up a party with some of the more popular Spanish genres, including reggaeton, cumbia, salsa, and Latin pop.
By day, I work as a school leader in South LA. Over the years, I tended to be the school staff member who would curate a playlist or be on the aux for events and dances. I decided to get into DJing after getting my doctorate degree in education because I finally had more time on my hands to pursue a hobby. I love music, and it brings me great joy to contribute to celebrations and special moments.
