We booked Charlie for our wedding on 11.22.24 and he was phenomenal! So very kind and accommodating throughout the whole night. We had a set plan laid out before hand but had a few bumps that caused us to have to change things around. Charlie was more than willing to work around us and keep us on a good schedule to do all the things we wanted to do. He was very diligent with timing, announcements, and updating us as the night went on. We would not have been able to pull it all off without his help and cooperation!
If there was a way to give more than five stars I would! DJ Charlie Roberts definitely deserves them!! He DJ’d our wedding and from the get-go he had very clear communication, he was very attentive and extremely helpful. I absolutely 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

He was great at communicating prior to the event, and made sure he catered to our needs throughout the night. He responded very quickly to any questions we had. His price was so great compared to others that we got quotes from. Charlie had spectacular reviews, which is why we went with him. And it was the best decision! He had a seamless process for song requests and payments! He was extremely professional and made things very easy through wedding planning! I was a procrastinator and didn’t get him my final music list until the last day, but he had everything and it all went so smooth! He was wonderful as an MC! Charlie was an amazing DJ at our beautiful beach house wedding!! He was very organized, polite, cheerful, and kept everything on schedule. He worked diligently with us to make sure we had all of the songs that we wanted to be played (on our rather eclectic playlist!), and filled in the gaps with his own good tastes where appropriate! Charlie was an absolute pleasure to work with and helped make our day perfect! From our first email until the wedding day, he was incredibly organized with checklists and asked all the questions I forgot to!! All of my guests loved the music and had a great time. Charlie was amazing, he did a wonderful job managing the atmosphere of our reception. I highly recommend him to anybody looking for a top tier wedding DJ.
Let me start by saying he did what he was hired to do. I did have a few issues that I was made aware of or involved in, which may not seem like a big deal to some. Charlie got to the venue and was setting up, there was a storage closet by him, someone had put something in there that was needed for the cake that had just been delivered. The stepdad of the bride asked if he could get it (I was not standing right there I didn’t hear the conversation). He was able to retrieve what was needed but told me that Charlie was rude and told him if he did it again he was leaving. Charlie “scolded” me, I apologized and explained that we didn’t know the items were in there several times. I was speaking to the bride and she said he was a little “snarky” with her. She asked him to play something and he told her he was playing what was on her list. I would completely understand if it was a guest request but it was the bride.
Again he did his job and is not terrible, I just feel his people skills were lacking that day and it’s not acceptable. He may have been having a bad day-again not acceptable.

dly professionally that access to the stage area after light racks, speaker stands, DJ console and power/speaker cords were set up was not allowed, adding their own smart comments as they continued to do so. The storage closet behind the set up was NOT for use by the wedding party; it stored the event tables and chairs owned by the venue. No one is allowed access to the stage (especially behind it) after set up due to insurance liability and safety reasons. I did not scold anyone. I did tell Francine, in front of the two, that they had to stay off the stage and that I had explained this to her during planning. She acknowledged that and apologized. I told her I wasn't blaming her, but that she, as my booking contact, needed to help me get the point across to her in-laws. No one threatened to leave. Yes, not the most pleasant conversation, but I was not rude. Some people can't handle NO, regardless of how gentle it is expressed. Try walking up on a stage or backstage at any show, night club, concert, festival, etc and see what happens to you.
The bride told me to play "booty music" shortly after dinner and the cake cutting. I told her that I had the booty music that she requested on her song list. I was not snarky and I played all of her requests without any comment; which created its own problem when half the room then emptied in the next 30 minutes due to half the guests being over 50. But that's another story. The bride obviously already had a problem with me after the 'please stay off the stage" moment with her parents. On the bright side, Weddingpro says getting reviews like this makes your review list look "more Real" lol. Here's to looking Real. Now that's snarky :-)

Charlie was absolutely amazing! In the months leading up to the wedding, Charlie was very responsive with any questions I had. He was so easy to work with and made sure our reception was super fun. We are SO SO glad we chose Charlie for our wedding day! I HIGHLY recommend him.
Charlie made our wedding night incredible!! Our wedding in Destin Florida (planned within three months) was a success and I am forever grateful to Charlie R. He was great to work with on the phone before the wedding, answered our emails with questions, provided a catalog of music and on the day of our wedding he was on time, all set up, played every song at the exact moment we wanted it. From the ceremony music (4 different songs), Cocktail hour (1 hr) to the reception (3 hrs dancing) it was a hit!
We and all of our guest had so much fun! I asked Charlie to played specific songs from Colombia, Mexico, Brazil and some American music and honestly the dancefloor was busy. I got so many great comments from my guests about the DJ and about the music in general. Charlie THANK YOU for making our day so special and for everything you did, very professional. I'm truly happy and it was exactly the Latin mix party I was dreaming with. Having Charlie by your side you are good to go! This comes from a happy and grateful bride :)

My MOH talked about a song during her speech and he played the song immediately after without us even prompting him - brilliant! Highly recommend.

We hired Charlie for our wedding ceremony and reception. We were cautious and concerned when looking for a DJ due to some of our music. The first thing Charlie told me "It's your day, I will play whatever you ask". He did, and it was awesome! We had very specific music we wanted for our ceremony, including our recessional to "Still D.R.,E" but only played on piano and he nailed it! It was such a hit! We also wanted our reception to feel like a club, not a typical wedding reception. We were jamming out! Even down to the last song I remember, Limp Bizkit. Who else could find a DJ to end the night light that! He followed every single request we had. Even before the big day, he was so easy to work with. His website makes it super easy to add songs and everything was doable for him. There was no skipping in the music, it flowed, there was no odd mixes, his announcements were perfect and he worked great with my wedding planner. I cannot recommend him enough! We partied hard! Booked Dj Charlie for a destination wedding reception in the midst of a pandemic, wedding was cancelled due to Covid restrictions. I paid a deposit and let him know my wedding was cancelled and I planned to reshedule, but he never responded. This review is misleading & untrue. I received a booking fee from Nashville TN bride Teonica Sanders in January 2021 for a June 2021 Florida wedding. I paid to have her online planning account services set up (which is covered by the booking fe...
e). Teonica never signed my contract. She then cancelled Feb 18, 2021: "My wedding has been cancelled due to Covid restrictions, I will no longer need your services. Sorry for the inconvenience." Booking fees are date/venue specific & non-refundable; however I have cheerfully moved dozens of dates for brides since the pandemic started where Covid was actually the issue. This, however, was not a postponement. It was a cancellation 5 months before the wedding for a date I was never able to re-book, costing me plenty. There were NEVER any covid restrictions in place February 2021 thru June 2021 for TN or FL. I performed several dozen weddings during that time, with several clients coming in from Nashville. Months later, the story changes yet again. Now it was never a cancellation, but a year postponement for a date in 2022 I'm already booked for. I will bend over backwards for my brides, but I expect them to deal with me honestly when scheduling problems arise.

We had Charlie DJ our wedding ceremony and reception. Charlie was very nice & super easy to work with. His site made it easy to keep in touch from far away on our destination wedding. He kept everyone on the dance floor, just like we wanted. He also kept us on timeline and made the night run smoothly. The only thing I may have done different is asked for mics for the ceremony officiant!

Charlie was incredible to work with! He was so easy to communicate with and had a super easy and streamlined way for us to pick songs. He also was an awesome MC! He did a great job of making the entire night flow. We also loved that we gave him examples of type of music we liked to be played in the background of the cocktail hour, dinner and speeches, and they could not have been more perfect! He was absolutely so fun to work with, and I know that we only used such a small amount of what he is capable of doing! We are so grateful that he was part of our favorite day!
We loved having Charlie do our wedding. Once hired he provides a website that allows you to provide a timeline for the day, song requests, songs for special dances and entrances, introduction names and orders, etc. I was really impressed with how professional and organized he was for such a great price. Charlie was great to work with! He met with us and answered all our questions and got to know us, he was clearly passionate about what he does. He responded well to emails and has things set up online for his clients to make it easy to organize songs. He was prompt with responding to emails. He did our music on the beach and for the reception, I thought it went off flawlessly. We had the plan for the day made in advance and he followed it to a T, he keep the reception running well and played great songs when it was time to party! He really knows what he is doing and worked well with our other vendors such as the photographer. He was calm and collected and I never had to worry about anything the whole night, in fact I don't even recall talking to him at the wedding cause he already knew what to do!

Charlie did not show up to DJ at my sister's wedding. He did not call or answer the phone on the day of the wedding. It has been almost one month since the wedding and she still has not received a refund. He has not been polite since the wedding about giving a refund and not showing up to the wedding. We had to play our own music for the wedding ceremony and reception. His lack of professionalism definitely put a damper on what was supposed to be a special day for our family.

I highly recommend hiring Charlie as your wedding DJ. He maintained the highest level of professionalism from the moment we contacted him, during the months of planning, throughout our wedding ceremony, to the end of our reception. He told me from the start, "your wedding is your vision and should be done exactly as you wish." He came fully prepared the day of the wedding, did everything exactly as I had requested during our ceremony and reception and even informed me if we were under, or ahead of schedule based on the event timeline we completed online. He definitely kept things running smoothly.
The music was very important to me and Charlie understood that from the very beginning. He has an online portal that makes it so easy (and fun!) to select the songs you want to hear, or absolutely don't want to hear. I even picked the order I wanted each song played and was able to tell him precisely when to start and stop a song, if we didn't desire the entire song be played. I loved it!
He said all the things I had asked him to say to each of my guests at exactly the right moments and even threw in a few of his own interesting statements (after running it by us first, of course). Charlie is a class act and I would definitely hire him again for any of my future events. He deserves 10 stars!

Charlie Roberts did an amazing job! He was easy to work with from the beginning and helped answer any questions or doubts I had along the way. His online system made selecting songs hassle free. He played acoustic guitar during our ceremony, which sounded beautiful) and cranked up the music at the reception. My friends and family complimented me on our DJ choice all night long. This guy gets booked a year + in advance, and we understand why. He was responsive, friendly, played everything we asked-good guy. Very personable and kept our low key guests happy. We had him sing and he did amazing. Loved Charlie!

We had a destination wedding, so we had to do all of the planning by email and phone. Charlie was excellent!! He was the DJ for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. The music was perfect for all of it!! Great quality equipment. If you are looking for a DJ in this area, he is the one!

Charlie was so experienced and knowledgeable right from the start I never had to stress out or worry about the entertainment part of our celebration.
We had him play the acoustic guitar for our ceremony which I was told was really beautiful (I was so nervous I don't remember much sadly) and he timed everything perfectly during the reception.
He knew when to play a slow song and when to play a fast one and there were people on the floor all night!
He also had the task of melding country music (50 Texans present) with dance and classic music and did it wonderfully. He even made sure I got some time to dance it out and have fun with my guests. I could not recommend him more highly.
Book quickly, he gets booked up about 10 months in advance, I lucked into him being my DJ and boy was it worth it!

Charlie was absolutely wonderful to work with. He was there for us from the very beginning stages of choosing our vendors. His website made planning so simple! Charlie was very helpful leading up to the wedding and his website planning tool made it easy to organize what songs I wanted played (and which ones I didn't). He was very polite and professional and did a great job reading the crowd to decide what songs to play. We also had him play his guitar and sing during cocktail hour which was great! Charlie was great! My fiancé and I loved his easy to use online song database. He was very prompt in returning all my phone calls and emails and really put us at ease. At first his low price made us nervous compared to all the other quotes we were getting, but in the end we took a chance on him and never had one regret! I would definitely recommend his services!

I loved that I could do all of my planning online. I had several songs that I requested that were not on his playlists and he had no problem getting them for my big day.
My favorite part is the variety he brings- he did my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception mixing guitar, singing, and DJ music throughout the day.
My guests had a blast and danced the night away!!!

I loved the website used to help pick music it was easy to use and made looking for music much easier especially since I was making plans for my wedding from Kansas for in Florida. Charlie was amazing at the wedding and got everyone on the dance floor. He through in some music I did not personally pick out but it worked with the music we did pick. He even did well with the schedule due to the bride (me) not realizing we did not have as much time in the venue as I had originally thought. Charlie was quick on his feet and just made my day amazing. Thank you.
Mr. Charlie was outstanding. I provided a playlist for the reception and he made sure he played every song we highly favored to be played. He had everyone dancing the whole time. The dance floor stayed packed. He was very professional with his services. He was on time and communicated well with me via email. I would highly recommend his services!

Charlie was amazing. He played guitar during our ceremony and was the DJ for our reception. He was very helpful and his online website made requesting songs and planing the timeline super easy. He had a huge selection of songs to choose from and what he didn't have he got for us. He really helped to keep the party going. He was incredibly flexible, a week before the wedding I realized I had completely forgotten about ceremony music. He asked what kind we wanted and played the guitar for the ceremony. I was really impressed by all the services provided.
Charlie is such an amazing entertainer!! Always quick to respond and his website is so easy to use and keep everything together! Everything went so amazingly well and the sound was incredible! For a small wedding, outside people said it sounded like there was a 1oo people in the ballroom! Charlie kept the music flowing and people dancing! We used Charlie for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception. Everything was flawless and Charlie was just as amazing in person as everyone said!!
We had an amazing time and Charlie and his band were awesome and very reasonable priced. COuldnt have asked for a better experience. Charlie took care of my Ceremony music and Reception. Everyone said it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
Charlie has a great website set up that makes it easy to pick out songs and label what you want used for certain occasions. Everything ran smoothly. Only downside, Charlie is kind of a jerk. He was rude to my MOH, who is one of the sweetest people I know, and he was rude to me about some of the songs on my playlist that he argued with me that I did not put them on my list and ended up having to download them on the spot from my dad's iphone. Besides that, it was a great value, and he was easy to get ahold of. He played guitar at our ceremony and was very talented and professional.

Our bride, Ashley Best Romine, doesn't have a clue about my great website or how easy my client tools were. She NEVER completed any of them. Things did not run smoothly, either. Ceremony live playlist was incomplete, Bridal party introduction l...
ist left blank, and special dance songs not listed. All of my attempts to secure this info in advance were ignored.
The highlight of the evening's end was the bride blaming me for not having her last dance song, which she never listed on the planning form. Amazingly, this is the only song I didn't have, despite her claims to the contrary. I did not argue with her; I asked if anyone had the song and her dad gave me THE ONE song from his I-phone. This all occurred while the second to last song was playing, witnessed by both the venue coordinator and photographer. I mixed it right in and all was well.
If I was rude to her MOH, I sincerely apologize. Other than having to ask her to delay her toast at the cake station for 10 minutes while the bride suddenly decided to disappear crying, I had no other dealings with her that I recall. The crying delay was because the bride found out the marriage license had been left at home.
After reading the poor reviews she left the venue, venue staff and photographer here, it's clear that Ashley has a problem taking responsibility for not caring enough to give the wedding professionals she hired the assistance and info they needed to give her their best.
Charlie played at our rehearsal dinner and our wedding ceremony and reception and was absolutely perfect!! I would totally recommend him to anyone! He was a very talented musician and such a nice guy! He also follows your play and do not play lists that you make prior to the wedding :), which is amazing, considering I have been to several weddings where the DJ plays anything and ignores the bride and groom's requests. Charlie did an amazing job and I would hire him in a heart beat for another event!
Our music choices for our wedding were all over the place, luckily Charlie was able to play all of our requests and keep the guests dancing. He played accoustic guitar during our ceremony and it set a beautiful tone. During the reception he was able to see what music people were dancing to and keep it going. When we were ready to leave he knew just how to wrap up the night. Charlie's online client tools are super helpful and his music library has every song you can think of.
Charlie did an amazing job playing the guitar during the wedding ceremony. He made our day even more memorable. He also did a great job DJ/ MC our reception. Everyone was dancing and having an amazing time (including my husband and me).

Charlie was the BEST wedding DJ! He played guitar for our ceremony, then DJ'd and even did some one-man-band performances during our reception (WONDERFUL!). He was very pleasant to work with and made sure that everything went smoothly during the reception. His price can't be beat and the online tools he has to help during the planning process are really great. I highly recommend him for any wedding.
Charlie did an amazing job as our D.J. He was laid-back and easy going that fit so well with our personalities and style of our wedding. He let me make all the decisions and paid attention to all the small details that were important. I did not have a wedding planner, and knew that I didn't need one once I booked Charlie as my DJ. Charlie Roberts was fantastic. He played an outside ceremony with his acoustic guitar then started DJ'ing at the reception inside! He was great, he kept my guests on the dance floor and having a good time. He travels to a lot of the southern region and the price was the best I found! I didn't have to worry about hiring anyone separate for my outside cermony which was a big relief!
Charlie entertained our guests by playing piano during the cocktail hour. Later he provided the perfect combination of music satisfying to young and old alike. He was charming and pleasant as he announced each wedding activity. He was well received by all the guests. I would highly recommend him for any event and certainly use him again.

Charlie was very down to earth and easy to work with. He took care of all of our requests. What he couldn't sing and perform himself he would DJ and it was a blast. He also set up all his equipment to play ceremony music at the beach for us. And he played at our rehearsal dinner. He's excellent!
