DJ Christie is absolutely awesome. She is responsive, professional, and an all-around awesome DJ. She helped us put on our dream wedding and we are incredibly grateful for her time and expertise. I would recommend her to any couple organizing their wedding.

DJ Christie is the best DJ ever! I knew from the first time I spoke on the phone with her that she was the DJ for us. She is so friendly and warm to begin with and actually listened to what myself and husband wanted from a DJ for our wedding while being so supportive of our decisions and timeline. She is a tiny ball of energy who made our wedding truly spectacular! Our guests were raving about her DJ-skill and loving how she played our requested songs into remixes! I seriously need to plan another party just so DJ Christie could be there! We love her and recommend her a million stars forever!

Although my wife and I aren’t big on dancing - it was important for us to have a DJ that would inspire all our guests to get out on the dance floor and have a great time. It was also important to me to have a vendor that would be genuinely joyful in helping us celebrating our wedding as a lesbian couple. DJ Christie was amazing! We interviewed over zoom and she was thoughtful in her responses, and professional in her demeanor. She went above and beyond coming out for our vendor site walkthrough at a site that had never done a “big” wedding - helping us troubleshoot issues and offering her expertise when needed. She was gracious with her time throughout our walk through and also the day of. She jumped through hoops of miscommunications, spontaneous musical performances from our guests, and an… “eclectic” musical selections from both ourselves and our guests. She was solution oriented, full of energy and got a bunch of us “old, tired people” dancing straight through the end! Above all she was kind and had made a personal connection and impression with both my wife and me. We would not hesitate to do it all over with her again!

DJ Christie is an amazing person was absolutely perfect for our wedding! From the beginning of the planning, she was extremely chill and had great suggestions throughout. We were trying to keep everything as low stress as possible, and she absolutely fit role. On the wedding day, we had an absolute blast, and it more than exceeded our expectations! We had multiple guests afterwards texting us about how great she was! If we need another DJ in the future, we’ll definitely be going back to her.

Christie was amazing! She dedicated time before the wedding to discuss our vision for music, and gave us ideas we wouldn’t have considered. She also came to the venue beforehand (since it was new to her) to get the best idea of her surroundings - a service we couldn’t be more grateful for! Not only did she keep guests on the dance floor, she incorporated all the deep-cut bangers we had on our playlist. She made sure the ceremony and reception formalities went smoothly, and adapted flawlessly to some timeline switch ups. She knew how to release tables for the buffet, and kept everyone in line as the timeline went along. Guests AND vendors said she was *the* best DJ they’ve worked with. Without her spark and incredible energy, our night wouldn’t have been the same. Thank you, Christie, for making our wedding an absolute dream!!!

Christie DJ'd our wedding. From our very first meeting through the end of our reception, she was SO easy to work with and immediately understood the vibe we were looking for and brought her own recommendations (ask her about uplighting! you won't regret it). Even though our wedding was out of state for her, she was set up at the venue ahead of schedule. We were in awe of her command over the dance floor - her ability to read a crowd is almost supernatural, and she kept everyone dancing and happy all night. Our guests loved her high energy in the DJ booth. You'd be hard pressed to find another DJ who so clearly has so much fun with their work. Our only regret is that we can't give her more than 5 stars.

Working with DJ Christie was nothing short of perfect. One of our easiest and stress free vendors to work and plan with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Attentive, professional, responsive, and such great vibes and style! We got married on a HOT July weekend outdoors and after the wedding so many people complimented our DJ and said how even though they wanted to sit down and cool off from the heat and take a break from dancing DJ Christie kept getting them back to the dance floor with all different hits/genres/styles of music! Best DJ ever! DJ Christie made our wedding in Sept. 2022 incredible and everyone still talks about how fun it was. I told her I wanted a more "club, party" vibe and she over-delivered. The energy and vibes were phenomenal and she accommodated our unique song additions like a surprise line dance. DJ Christie was fantastic! She did a great job keeping us on track with our plan of events. She played great music and kept the dance floor full the ENTIRE evening. She was a pleasure to work with and was absolutely professional. I would heartily recommend her to anybody!

My Husband and I hired DJ Christie for our wedding at Society Room on July 3. When we were initially started looking for our DJ we knew we did not want a cheesy DJ that did more talking then music and tried to get our guest to play horrific table games. We were also worried about hiring a big company with multiple DJs and not knowing who we would get. The moment we first met Christie we clicked with her vibe right away. She listen to what we wanted, understood our vison of the evening and was just a spectacular human. She understood our reservations as a gay couple and how we worried about having respectful venders on our big day. She was everything we wanted and more. I created an extensive playlist and told her I wanted her to read the crowd and blend the music like a New Haven club all night. She knocked it out of the park, we loved it our guest loved it we danced all night. Christie also offers a Lighting package which we got, it was an awesome addition to the night and it was fabulous seeing our names and wedding date in lights. Christie takes her job seriously, it was her first wedding at Society Room and she took the time to tour the venue with me, to understand our vision and the room layout to maximize the experience in the space. If I could give her 6 stars I would, I would recommend DJ Christie to all my friends and family!

DJ Christie was the most fun wedding DJ ever, and she understood right off the bat exactly what we wanted! We have been to so many weddings, and we always say that the DJ really makes or breaks the entire event. We were SO glad we hired DJ Christie super early in the game and booked her right away to lock down our date because she is getting increasingly in demand. She was the one and only DJ we spoke to and we knew after the very first time we talked to her that we had no doubts that she was 100% the right DJ for us. She listened to what we wanted and the vibe that we were going for and just "got it" immediately. DJ Christie is a true professional who really knows what she is doing and knows how to read the crowd! She also has a really chill and low key vibe, though, and knows how to handle anything. She is not overbearing at ALL like some wedding DJs are. We were SO impressed with how on point she was in introducing everyone and making sure the entire night went seamlessly. And once the real party got started, she really killed it. Her mixing skills are incredible and she did an awesome job at keeping the energy going. She also listened to all of our requests and recommendations! If you want your wedding to be truly the best night of your life, do not hesitate in hiring DJ Christie!

HIRE THIS WOMAN! DJ Christie is wonderful, fun, and crazy professional (but like, cool professional). She was such a breeze to work with - she listened to us, brought ideas to the table, and created an incredible playlist based off our requested music. Neither me, nor my now husband, were really sure what to expect when we started this journey of meeting w/ vendors but Christie was everthing we hoped for and more. DJ Christie was AMAZING! We used her for our wedding/vow renewal in June, and she made it feel like a breeze ~ listening to our questions/concerns, providing suggestions (we never felt pushed), making sure that our party had a blast with the music, keeping things on track with the events throughout the night (sparkler exit, dancing, cake cutting, grand entrance, etc). Her sheet was also incredibly helpful with getting us focused on what we wanted / didnt want and other important details throughout the night. I cannot say enough good things about her. DJ Christie did excellent work putting on the night of our lives on May 27, 2023. Our friends and family had a fantastic time, and the music was a fabulous, perfectly executed, part of the experience. She read the room like a champ, provided brilliant entertainment, our dance and the longtime partners' dance were perfectly timed, and the line dancing songs she chose fit the crowd awesomely. It's truly been a pleasure working with her.

DJ Christie was a great host for our 10-year wedding anniversary. They went above and beyond hauling a photo booth and DJ equipment to the venue during pouring rain. Everything went without a hitch and we had a great time - including a costume party catwalk. Would recommend DJ Christie for any party!

There's a very clear difference between a DJ and someone who just plays music. Christie is a passionate artist and that passion infuses into the energy of the room. Her and her staff were attentive, adaptable, and extremely kind. When choosing a DJ, it was important to us that they ask the right questions to get to know us as a couple to personalize the vibe of the evening and Christie wasted no time doing just that. She played everything we wanted her to play and then read the room to fill in the gaps. Our guests unanimously commented on how wonderful she was and how the DJ made the party as epic as it was. Her prices were super affordable, her set-up and collaboration with the venue was professional, concise, and clear, and her MC skills were on point. We cannot say enough good things. I was recently married on 11.26.22 and couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire DJ Christie. She is absolutely FABULOUS! Right from the jump, her calm, cool and collected attitude is what drew us to her. She was so professional and easy to talk to. Her and her team listened to the vibe we were going for and they nailed it. Any time I had any questions or concerns, Christie was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased. When we were concerned about lighting, she offered more lights. When we needed ideas for a guest book, she took care of it for us. My guests were also very impressed at her ability to transition between songs and all the jams she played. DJ Christie and her team are the best! Alicia DJ'd our rock-music wedding reception and it was absolute PERFECTION! Do not hesitate to book her for your wedding! My husband and I did not want the traditional pop music that you hear at most weddings; we listen to mostly rock and metal and have no idea how to dance to hip hop. I specifically hired DJ Christie for her experience DJ-ing rock music at Coyote Ugly in NYC. She was extremely responsive and professional from the first email and even followed up with us after the wedding to make sure that everything went well. She not only drove up to walk through the venue with me before the big day, she also brought lighting with her so that she could make sure the space was lit the way we wanted. Two weeks before our wedding, one of Christie's other DJ's became unavailable for his event on our wedding date, and she had to cover his commitment. My husband and I were very concerned about switching DJs at the last minute, but Christie immediately arranged for us to meet Alicia and talk to her about our music tastes and wedding vision. Alicia totally understood what we wanted, and on the big day she could not have done a more amazing job. From the moment the dance floor opened, it stayed full until the reception ended. That's saying something given that our reception was in an airplane hangar and attended by a large population of engineers and plane nerds who had plenty of things competing for their attention. We had so many guests tell us that our wedding had the best music they'd ever heard at a reception, and I personally had trouble tearing myself away from the dance floor long enough to even get a drink. Alicia is the best, and I am so glad we had her as part of our wedding day!

Wow! If I could give ten stars I absolutely would! My husband and I got married in Las Vegas this past weekend and Christie was the icing on the (wedding) cake to a perfect evening. She is professional, attentive, and an all around amazing DJ. Her ability to read the crowd kept the party going at the perfect pace throughout the night. I can't tell you the amount of compliments I got from our guests about how great she was. I think more people complimented her DJ skills than my wedding dress (lol)! There really aren't enough words to describe how important it is to have an awesome DJ at your wedding and DJ Christie MORE than delivered! She never skipped a beat - from wedding party announcements, special songs we requested, or playing the right types of songs at the right times - she knew exactly how to keep everyone dancing and entertained. You can't make a better choice than DJ Christie! My husband and I wanted to reflect our queer identity by hiring LGBTQ-owned vendors. From our first phone call to our last planning meeting, we felt totally supported by Christie. She truly is a thoughtful professional and is especially sensitive to the unique needs of queer couples. We appreciated how mindful she was of how we wanted to be introduced and how we wanted our guests to be addressed. Christie and her assistant Alicia were both present for our wedding day. On top of being super fun and sweet, they just did an amazing job all around. Christie doesn't just press buttons...she is mixing and having a blast doing it! Our guests danced the entire reception, which is the most important measure of success in my opinion. We were so happy with Christie and would recommend her to all!

I can’t tell you how many people came up to me during our wedding saying how good the music was! She included a bit of everything on our playlist. Additionally, she was so easy to work with. DJ Christie did such an amazing job on our wedding! We were able to chat multiple times via phone/video call in order to walk through the plan for the day. We weren’t overly picky about our music selection, and she was great at offering suggestions for various portions of our night. As a lesbian couple, finding the perfect fit for our wedding celebration was difficult. DJ Christie to the rescue! She was easy to work with from the first contact to the final details. She guided us to create our perfect vision. Comparable to other mainstream music companies, producers, and DJs, DJ Christie was knowledgeable, professional, and had everything that was needed, considering the ceremony and reception were on opposite sides of the outdoor space. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Honestly, if she is not considered, it will be a disservice to your experience as she will be the perfect fit no matter the occasion. DJ Christie was incredible to work with. She was super communicative, open, friendly, and a calm presence from early planning meetings all the way to our wedding day. She offers a variety of packages and clearly adapts to the needs of her clients—no easy task for our wedding, in which we had some crazy live music configurations with complicated sound setups on top of lots of specific music requests. The party was an absolute blast, and Christie played as many of our requested songs as possible while also reading the room and keeping (to our surprise), the majority of our guests on the dance floor all night long. For me, having listened to my song over and over again, to have the doors open and hear it being sung in such an angelic voice acoustically was such a heartwarming moment for me and made the walk down the aisle all the more sweeter. Dj Christie is so amazing!! She is a really great DJ as well as a really great person. She makes sure that everything runs smoothly and she double checks with you about everything. I am so happy with the work DJ Christie provided. I would definitely hire again for another party :) She had everyone up on the dance floor at our engagement party. She always answered emails and texts right away. She was always there for us whenever we needed and listened to us very well. If I were you I would hire DJ Christie because she provides excellent service. She also was really great at being diverse between Indian music and American music since my family is from India. She did really well with the choice of Indian songs as well as American songs. She ran my whole event very smoothly and I am just so thankful for her!!!

Christie was not only a great DJ, but also a great MC during the event! No offense to my family, but during the typical wedding synchronized songs, I've never seen a group of people so out of sync in my life haha. She caught on fast and literally went onto the dance floor to lead people and keep people on beat. Our wedding was during the day where people aren't usually dancing as much until it gets dark, but she did a good job keeping people out on the dance floor dancing. During the process of planning she was also very thorough making sure we had every important song covered and also loved that she makes a custom playlist for each wedding so yours is truly how you want it. Would definitely recommend!

DJ Christie was the DJ at my Summer 2018 wedding. The ceremony was on the beach, and electricity reliability was an issue minutes prior to the ceremony (we had 150 guests!). We needed to be wired for sound because with no walls, even a speaker with a booming voice couldn't have been heard by all the guests. DJ Christie found a solution and implemented it quickly, not even delaying the ceremony. When one of our speakers decided to not use the microphone, DJ Christie again worked her magic and got his voice amplified, even with the stand microphone five feet away. DJ Christie played amazing music for our cocktail hour and for the folk dance, as well as for our rocking dance party. She had professional equipment, lights, appearance, and attitude. DJ Christie is young, hip, and full of energy. She was instrumental in helping us put together a song list more than a month in advance. This helped reduce our stress load and let us focus on the other details as our event date neared. My wife and I wholeheartedly recommend DJ Christie for weddings, parties, corporate events, and at conferences. She knows the latest trends in salsa and top 40, and also recommended classic songs. We danced to Elvis as our first dance. My wife and I are in our thirties and dancing to Elvis was just so special and magical.
