Pro DJ and live musician at an affordable price
It's simple -- a no frills, no fuss, super experienced DJ AND live musician at an affordable price. No hourly rates and no hidden fees. All I ask is that music ends by 11pm. I used to be able to go super late but now I've got two little ones that wake up early and if I'm working until the wee hours of the morning it makes for a pretty miserable day lol. I provide all the speakers and microphones necessary for a ceremony and reception. I do not offer professional lighting however I do offer a tabletop lighting device which contains two spheres that shoot out colored lights as it spins. For how small it is, it actually creates a pretty large effect. I have DJ'd over 300 weddings (formerly with All Ears DJ and more recently independently) and have not received a single negative review on Wedding Wire and The Knot. I will professionally introduce events and dances on the mic and I will NOT be the cheesy, loud, hype-man DJ. In addition to my DJ skills, I also offer up to an hour of live acoustic covers that can really bring that extra touch to the pre-ceremony arrival of guests or during a cocktail hour. When not working weddings, I'm the primary singer and songwriter for the band The Roseline. You can check us out and decide if my voice and style is your vibe. I can handle the pacing of the evening and I'll make sure we're staying close to the schedule on paper so you don't have to worry about anything other than having the best night of your lives. I'm willing to meet with you remotely or in-person as many times as you feel necessary for you to feel good about everything going into your big day. I've created a Reception Planner form which includes everything I could think of that might be incorporated into a wedding ceremony and reception. All I ask is you fill it out at least one week prior to your event and we'll be good to go. If you want to book me for your event I ask you sign a very simple one-page contract and pay a $500 deposit to hold your date. The remaining balance can be paid any time up until the start of the event. I accept cash, credit, Venmo, PayPal, et al. Colin was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He arrived early, made sure all of our audio was set up correctly, and ran the show seamlessly. We had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception and were worried about the quality of the outdoor audio, but the sound quality was great, both inside and outside. He asked all the right questions to make sure our reception was tailored exactly how we wanted it. Thanks to Colin, our dance floor was never empty, our guests had a great time, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Highly recommend!

We used Colin as our DJ and 10 outta 10 would recommend! He played acoustically before our ceremony as guests arrived and then during our processional down the aisle and sounded amazing for all of it. He even learned a song for our processional since we had a specific song request.
He also made planning for the reception and music very fun and easy. His reception planner document was simple to fill out and we could get as detailed as we wanted to. He kept the music moving and fun all night and did a great job playing the songs we requested while throwing in some surprises that also perfectly fit the vibe.
We also appreciated his very calm and steady vibe and how easy he was to get ahold of throughout the planning process. He was wonderful for our wedding and I bet he'd be wonderful for yours too!

Colin made our wedding go so smoothly!
We had a bit of a nontraditional reception, and he kept everything on time, moving forward, and most of all, he kept the vibes HIGH.
We gave him a wide variety of inspiration music, and he played everything at the right time.
He is super easy to work with, and I highly recommend booking him for your wedding!

We booked Colin for our wedding 9.7.24 about a year ago and paid in full and he messaged me with 6 weeks to go that he had a gig for his band that would make him more money. He did fully refund us, but left us with no suggestions or references. I just hope he doesn't cancel last minute for any other brides.

I do not dispute this. In my decade plus of DJing weddings this was the first and only time I have ever cancelled for any reason. It was a very difficult decision and I deeply apologize.

Colin was a fantastic DJ who was very accommodating through all the chaos of our wedding planning. We gave him some direction as far as what music to play, but with that limited info, he turned out what one of our guests described, "the perfect playlist." Would highly recommend.

Colin was perfect for our wedding! We loved that he was able to do both live music and Djing. We were pretty specific about our pre-dancing dinner time music, which he implemented with no issues. And the dance songs were exactly what we wanted! He is organized, laid back, flexible, and his playing and singing were the perfect vibe for our pre-ceremony and processional songs. 10/10 would recommend.

Colin was absolutely fantastic!! He was professional yet fun and very easy to work with. His reception planning form helped me think of things I wasn't previously considering. His live music provided a unique touch and was so good my guests were talking about it throughout the night. He also really kept the party going with fun dance music everyone enjoyed. I would hire Colin again in a heartbeat!!

We got lots of good reviews from guests who said the dance floor was much more active than other weddings. Colin was able to accommodate our taste in music perfectly while keeping the party going. He was super easy to work with and checked in with us during the event to flex the timeline. Really couldn't have asked for a better DJ.

Hands down the best part of my wedding. Colin performed as a solo guitarist, it was so romantic. It just set the tone and vibe for a really special experience.
