He didn’t play my dance music that I had requested and wasn’t following the portal that I had filled out. He even played line dances when I specifically stated that I didn’t want that. WORST. VENDOR. EVER. Never received an apology either.

ic - meanwhile she was down hill and our officiant is 5’ tall- she couldn’t see her at all over the people. Why the DJ didn’t just cut the music when I got to the top of the isle? No clue. Our entrance was messed up. Our first dance song was messed. Someone said our “DJ” was a glorified aux cord unfortunately. It felt like she was just playing a playlist instead of being a DJ. All around a bit unfortunate and then after when I reached out to the company and she scheduled a call to speak about things, they never reached out so just an unfortunate outcome.

During dinner, he played our first dance song (wasn’t supposed to happen). After dinner he began to play music and then the music would just stop of a minute or 2 like he was trying to find a song to go next. For our anniversary dance it was super quick. He started out with being married for less. It would’ve been nice to say “whoever had been married for 2 hours please sit” or something along those lines. Then would skip by 10s and not 5s to help make the dancing last a little longer. The music that he played sucked. It got better towards the end.

s were answered promptly and correctly. They were super fluid the day-of and ensured that my husband and I weren't worried about anything. They stuck perfectly to both our must-play list and our do NOTS. If I ever had another event I would 100% book them again!

oing for (what I called "the most millennial wedding ever") and was so kind, fun, and solicitous throughout the evening. The first three dance songs he played could have been plucked from my brain--absolute perfection that got the party started and kept it going all night. His wife even made me a Taylor Swift friendship bracelet he gave me at the end of the night, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful and special! The pre-planning that DJ Connection helped us do was also amazing. The event timeline helped the night run so smoothly, especially since we did not have a wedding planner. All-in-all, what you get with DJ Connection--the music, the DJ, the timeline, the announcer, the lights, and more--was everything you need, all for a fantastic value. One FYI: They do not do "mash-ups" unless it was pre-recorded one that they could download for you. D.K. did an incredible job flowing one song into another and I honestly didn't miss this, but I was sort of disappointed when I found out, so just wanted to make others aware. But again, that didn't take away from the experience or end up being a problem for me, so if this is a concern for you, don't stress! Whole-heartedly recommend DJ Connection Nashville for your wedding or event!!! THANK YOU!

, there was plenty of power for them to use for their equipment plugging into the outlets outside of the house. Our Dj was Lucas and he was an amazing DJ and emcee. He made sure he was engaging, but not too engaging if you know what i mean. He wasn't on that mic all night for no good reason. It was a hot day and he made sure I had plenty of water throughout the day along with my husband. He was very attendant to our needs that night and set a great pace for the night! We were on time for everything, he was very communicative throughout the night and the agenda. He was perfect. The entire team at DJ connection are amazing! From the consultation call to when they were packing up for the end of the night. Everything was handled and communicated clearly. I would book them again 100x.

DJ we worked with on the day of- his name was DK- this company helped ease my mind and made it a painless process all while staying under my budget and keeping it lighthearted and fun. Dj DK was amazing and really matched the vibe for my event, which I was nervous about because I had a mixed crowd. He made sure to check in on us when needed and helped direct the guests when needed. He brought party lights which really helped set the mood and brought people to the dance floor. Guests were asking my husband and I where we found the DJ because of all the fun and great energy (and amazing dance remixes) he brought to the event. Before the event started, the DJ met with us to discuss/double check on last minute details such as timing and specific songs, which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend DJ Connection to anyone looking for an Emcee/DJ!

regretted booking with them after the second call. They have constant bits and theatrics throughout every call but I asked to have that not included in our wedding which they honored. On our wedding day, our DJ showed up to set up and kept pretty much to himself which was no problem but we had to find him to seek out when our officiant needed to do a sound check to get set up with the mic. He brushed it off like it was no big deal which was weird but we just ignored that and continued. We had a call finalizing details with someone who was not our DJ the week before the wedding and we confirmed all the important songs then on the day of right before our grand entrance into the reception, we confirmed with our DJ which song we were going to enter to and then 2 minutes later when we did our entrance, he played not the song we had confirmed but our first dance song completely ruining a moment we were SO excited about because we had planned something really funny. Then, for our first dance he played the wrong version of the song we had picked even though we had uploaded the correct version to the portal and confirmed it in our final call. His personal energy was low and we had to request songs to keep people on the dance floor as he was missing the mark. Huge disappointment, honestly.
