tting to meet our DJ until day of but the communication prior was so fantastic and then our DJ took time to meet each of us while he was setting up and check in with all key contacts. He was personable, friendly and adjusted to the vibe of the evening. We did have one small hiccup with a ceremony song being the wrong version but it was barely noticeable and the DJ pivoted quickly.

ackage despite what was outlined in our contract. While they claim you can speak with your DJ three weeks in advance, they are referring to the “DJ Production Team” NOT the actual DJ. The first time I met the DJ was the day of our wedding. Lastly, we spent hours putting together songs we would like to hear during the dancing portion of the wedding, and maybe 1-2 were actually played. Instead the FIRST TWO SONGS were directly from our do not play list. Additionally, the DJ was not mixing songs, they were played all the way through so there were awkward lulls. I would steer away from DJ Connection for a more personable and reliable experience for your wedding. It will take a lot of stress off your plate and give you a more enjoyable experience.

l the special songs and reception songs we wanted played in their online portal. Our DJ on our wedding day was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great night. There was a nice mix of upbeat songs and slow songs that kept people on the dance floor all night long.

the week of our wedding to review each song and it's placement--along with our notes. For example, for the MOB entrance, we played the first few beats of "The Imperial March" and then switched back to earlier instrumental tracks. The DJ was very flexible and the joke was perfectly timed (and well received). The DJ got on the floor to help lead some line dances and let us end early when we felt we'd done everything. Since my husband I met at a dancehall, music is a big part of our relationship and they captured it so well.

e all your songs up until 2 weeks before your wedding date. You can add song requests, dedications, songs not to play etc, so you have control over what is played during your wedding. They communicated well with us throughout the entire process. I did not have a wedding planner or day of coordinator, but my DJ followed my schedule perfectly without bothering us. I was so worried our DJ wouldn't read the room and see what people liked/did not like and our guy nailed it! I was also asked what level of hype I wanted at my wedding and they delivered! Highly recommend this company and we had a blast!

sted DJ and even up until our 2 week meet up call confirmed it. Then a different DJ showed up and it was a mess. He kept accidently unplugging the music so it would go silent. The mics were in and out the entire time during speeches. He couldn’t accept any song requests and wasn’t playing any of the songs that I suggested on my must play list. I was just overall extremely disappointed and feel like it really ruined the reception for me and all the guests. Humiliating to say the least.

client portal was so easy to use! We were able to make a thorough playlist and choose all of our special songs (first dance, entrance, private last dance, etc.). They had so many songs to choose from and it was easy to add in the songs not in their inventory. Our DJ was a great MC and kept the party going with both our playlist and songs that we didn't even think to add.

he right song was not playing. My coordinator ran over to ask what was going on and he just didn’t have the song. The song that I had picked out MONTHS in advance. I had to walk down the aisle to the same some my bridesmaids did which so embarrassing. At the reception, we were introduced wrong after talking to him 5 minutes before to confirm! Again, very embarrassing. Many of my “must play” songs were not played, but other random songs played instead. The general atmosphere for dancing was okay and nothing else went too wrong so I appreciate that at least. I spent a year planning this wedding and everything else turned out so great but I was beyond disappointed and embarrassed by these mistakes. I was also not offered any sort of compensation, no matter how small, after I emailed them saying what happened. Not worth the money, unfortunately.

ou can input your schedule for the day and song requests. It was super helpful to have it all in one place, and it stays open only until a couple of weeks prior, so we had several times to go back in and readjust things as needed without much hassle. The day of the DJ had the schedule printed and made a special point to reconfirm some details just in case! So fun! They did such a great job with keeping guests dancing and entertained on the dance floor! As soon as the guests got on the dance floor they didn't get off until the very end, they did such a great job at reading the room and choosing songs accordingly. Highly recommend this group!

Unfortunately, his name escapes me at this time and I believe it was Scott but he was professional, kind, and helpful. I also spoke with Caleb and Scott (I believe from the sales team). They were also so extremely energetic, helpful, professional, and kind. Honestly because of these telephonic interactions, I knew how wonderful this company truly. And this was further proven with the DJ at our wedding. Unfortunately, their name escapes me but is from Louisiana! I mean our DJ so energetic, lovely to talk with, extremely flexible with our timelines, respectful/professional, and sweet. The DJ was one of the highlights of our wedding. I cannot recommend this company enough! They listen to your wants/needs and you can tell they love with that do. Thank you DJ connection and your team!

y but told the bride and groom they weren't going to do it after all and to remove the speech from the timeline, which they did. At the wedding i told the DJ they were in fact going to give the speech to surprise their brother, but the dj would not allow the change. So the sisters were not allowed to give a speech. The worst decision we made for our wedding, With DJ connection, you don't hire a particular dj you hire a company. You never get to talk to your dj beforehand . You are randomly assigned a dj the day of . They Lock down your schedule weeks in advance and you can't change anything. Definately don't hire them. Hire someone who cares and wants to actually do what you want at your wedding. We were robbed of One of the most important things at the wedding, and we will forever be sad. Now 2 weeks after the wedding...This company has blocked other reviews from my husband and my daughters. The manager, Tandy, reached out to me a couple times. We rehashed the events and agreed to disagree, he was reasonable to talk to, we agreed we weren't going to see each others side, he also told me they would refund me if i would remove the review, i told him, a refund would not correct it or bring that moment back to us , but i told him i would consider it. He was going to do work on his end, i spoke with my husband about the situation, he didn't want to remove the review, it was never about the money. Then,a higher up manager, Jason, called me and chewed me out. Called me a manipulative liar. He accused me of writing a false review... I have never been treated so poorly by a professional. I'm appalled at this point. They called me, i was done with the entire situation, but they didn't like my review and wanted it gone. This should be illegal.

We are still getting compliments from friends and family telling us how fun our reception was, even some have said our DJ is the first to ever make them want to dance at a wedding! They also do awesome deals on their packages throughout the year. 100000/10 recommend them!

for your event. Everyone I spoke with was polite and sincere anytime we had a question, and the price is very reasonable! Our actual DJ on the day was Jonah, and his service was EXCEPTIONAL. He stayed in communication with me to clear up any confusion and ensure things were going according to plan. Having a communicative DJ who helped host the day and keep people on the dance floor was SO instrumental in helping our day run smoothly. I strongly recommend any future brides or event planners use DJ Connection!
