songs sounded really high pitched on two of the songs but it wasn’t the DJs fault. I wish I remembered his name but I just know he was absolutely amazing and the perfect match for our wedding day!

booked suddenly couldn't make it. The best part was they felt so personable so I felt very comfortable with knowing I would receive great service. The DJ I had actually had worked with my photographer & videographer before so it all went even. more smoothly for setup & coordination the day of. Highly recommend!

much closer to your wedding day which made us nervous, but we trusted the process! They give you a portal to import your timeline, must play songs, and even don’t play songs. Come the day of, all of our vendors are telling us how helpful the DJ had been throughout the whole process, going above and beyond to help out with the whole thing. DJ Phillip kept the energy going, was a great MC, and was so professional and nice, I would recommend him and DJ Connection to anyone!

all night! Everyone was talking about how great he was as well. Throughout our entire time planning as well, DJ Connection was great with their communication and punctual. We also got a photo booth through the company they use which was a hit as well.

made all the right announcements when needed. we wanted to get introduced like the Chicago Bulls intro song and he announced us like it was a basketball game - it was sosososo amazing! i couldn't recommend them enough. they are very organized and the online portal is pretty easy to navigate.

e needed to ask. DJ Trelvis was just so great , by the end of the night he felt like family to us. Everyone at our wedding kept telling us how great and fun our DJ was. He was very respectful just like the rest of the staff that we spoke to during the planning. Their process is so smooth and easy. Trelvis played all the songs I had suggested on their online portal , he kept us all on the dance floor all night & the games we played were so much fun . He kept us all laughing the whole time as well. They really blessed us by sending the right DJ for our wedding event. His personality fit right in with all of us. I have already been recommending DJ connection to our engaged friends! Thank you all for being part making our dream wedding become a reality!

was incredible and everyone I talked to was so kind, they even tentatively held my date so I could talk to my fiance first. The portal they give you to request certain songs and make a do not playlist was so easy to use. They even went out of their way to call my dad to set up a surprise he wanted to do for me! Our DJ was dressed very professionally and he followed all the cues and played all my requested songs as well as anything people suggested. He even let my father-in-law borrow the mic to give everyone a Star's game update 😂. At the end of the night, when we were staying behind to clean up, I told the DJ he could leave since we were just cleaning up, and he said he had no problem staying and playing music for us while we cleaned up. Overall, it was the best and easiest experience of the whole planning process and I am so happy with our decision to book DJ Connections!

Everything up until the wedding day was great. I even really liked Dj Billy who helped us finalize everything two weeks before the wedding. Unfortunately, the day of the wedding was a complete mess. Dj Brandon in the San Antonio,Tx area was very nice, but messed up so many times throughout the day. He did not cue the grandmothers to go down the aisle when he was asked to, he did not start mine and my dads song to walk down the aisle in the right place so it played the intro of the video. Every time he would announce something, he wouldn’t turn down the music so the guests couldn’t hear and multiple announcements were missed. Some of the major announcements that were missed were the cake cutting and last call for the bar. Multiple people said they didn’t realize the cake cutting was going and why was the music still playing. My mom actually ended up missing the cake cutting. At the end of the night Brandon comes up to us apologizing, saying he received complaints from my mom and wanted to hear our feedback. At this point it was already time for our reflection dance and I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, but when we get to the dance floor he plays the wrong version instead of the wedding version for our reflection song. With all of these major issues throughout the wedding day, we sent in a formal complain to DJ connection and they apologized saying they never had a complaint on him and that they would refund us $200 and suspend him from the next event. Initially, we were totally fine with this until I read on the knot bad reviews and complaints about Brandon just a few weeks before our wedding. Long story short, make sure San Antonio brides that you ask for the name of your DJ in advance because they will not tell you on their own. I wish I would have read these reviews a few weeks before and demanded the name of our DJ because all of this could have been avoided. Brandon is very nice, but he should not be playing at weddings. Couples spend so much money on this event and I don’t want another’s couples day to be a mess like ours was.

t I wanted to hear the day of the wedding, and the general vibe I was going for. We had DJ Columbus and he was AWESOME! Played excellent music all night, kept everyone on the dance floor and really seemed to be having fun himself! We had such a great time with him!

My husband went up to him to let him know the songs we had requested and we were surprised he had a print out of the list yet didn't play them. I honestly think DJ Brandon has not played before at weddings because he was not able to mix and cue music. He would play the entire song even though nobody was on the dance floor. When we shared our experience with DJ Connection customer service they were at best indifferent and did not care to listen to us. Out of all our vendors this one (DJ connection) is the one we truly regret hiring. Brides beware!

s terrible. I (the bride) and my groom and the groomsmen went up multiple times a night to ask him to put more country on, and more popular country, not the crap he was playing. So the DJ gave him a paper list and asked them to pick songs!!! He couldn't read the crowd at all. The first song to get "the party started" was Bohemian RHAPSODY! Like REALLY?!?! That's a song you play at the end of the night when everyone is drunk! Then everyone was on the crowd for Boot Scootin Boogie, and then the DJ played Who Let The Dogs OUT?! SERIOUSLY?!! JUST BEWARE, To be honest, I was nervous about them DJing because they don't let you speak to your DJ before your event! And they gave me such a great deal (booked for 8 hours of service for $895 with monogram) and I was sold on the fact that they said "They DJ'ed Garth Brooks daughters wedding" which they like to mention a ton! Well the DJ that "DJ'ed Garth Brooks daughter" does not DJ, he trains the other DJ's. Then when I told him I regret telling a friend that booked them recently, the trainer said please don't tell them to not book us, I will DJ their wedding personally.. Like if you are so great and such a selling point for this company, why DON'T YOU DJ ALREADY?! They must be really good somewhere else, but not in San Antonio. I PLEADED, called multiple times a week before my wedding and asked please make sure this DJ knows tejano and country. I heard lots of country and one tejano. The DJ was the worst part of my wedding and it makes me so sad because I'll never get that day back. When I told DJ connection about my experience, they offered to give me $200 of the DJ's cut to me. That is SOOO MEAN and wrong!! The DJ was terrible but to take his money out of his check, that's just WRONG!!

as great! Day of the wedding, everything went smoothly for the reception. They provided our officiant with his own mic. Very cooperative DJ. When it came to our reception, It seemed like our DJ and our wedding coordinator weren't on the same page. He didn't announce our cake cutting. He had the schedule so I don't know what happened but that really stinked. He played all of our "must plays" at the beginning of our wedding so that also was a bummer. We thought he would space them out through the course of the night. However, he had high energy like we wanted him too. He was still great. There were just small things that I wish were better (hence our star rating). All in all I would still recommend DJ connection because their customer service is just AWESOME!! (5/5)!!

ick all of your songs. They are calling you to catch up with you and to see if you have any questions for them. They will get ahold of you the week of to make sure that you have EVERY song that you can on the list. The DJ was a blast at the wedding and keep you on schedule as well. I had DJ Rey and he was AMAZING! Very high energy and kept everyone dancing. Had a bunch of complements on not only the DJ but the company as well.

I was able to log on to the portal at my convenience until a week before the wedding when we had our 2nd and final planning call to confirm our music choices. We received the name of our DJ ten days before the wedding, although they do not allow you to contact that person beforehand. The planners at DJ connection ensure that all important information is relayed for the day-of though, and everything went very smoothly. We absolutely loved our DJ and we were very impressed with his professionalism and attentiveness to us throughout the wedding. He helped to keep things moving on the schedule we provided and made sure that we were having fun in the process. Highly recommend working with DJ connection!

my DJ prior to the wedding day. Let me tell you...THEY BLEW ME AWAY!!! They give you a portal to use to make selections for every moment of your big day. I was able to request songs that we were not even sure were going to be able to be played, and they were able to get every single one of them. On top of that they also have an area for songs you DO NOT want to play and they stick to it. He was a great MC and was able to keep the party going. I could not have been happier with the service I received over the phone either. I wasn't a highly needy bride but anytime I had question I was able to get answers. I didn't always talk to the same people but the staff her is so fun and energetic. I HIGHLY recommend using DJ Connections.

Then DJ Callen for our ceremony and reception was out of this world! 🤩 He was so professional, yet so much fun, without taking over the show. He truly was exactly what we asked for in a DJ! We have had so many of our guests comment on how good our DJ was and ask where and how did we find him. DJ Connection spends so much time asking questions about what you want you reception to be like or what is your ideal DJ. Then they take all those answers and pick one of their DJs to match you. We are proof that it works and they are very good at their job!

Sammy was the producer who worked with us and she did an amazing job putting together our songs and accommodating our requests for some instrumental songs for the ceremony. The online portal wasn't the most friendly, but Sammy helped us out big time! So thankful for DJ Connection. I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends!

It ended up we requested to talk to our DJ the week of the wedding to get a feel for them and to kind of get to know him and for him to know our expectations. This DJ ended up not being able to come the day of the wedding, so DJ Paul covered for him, and he was simply AMAZING. Everyone had the best time dancing all night. I would definitely recommend!

paperwork taken care of and they told me not to worry if I don't hear from them for a while because they would be in touch to make sure they got all final details closer to the date. They have a very well planned out timeline that helps make sure you are on track, even if your event isn't for months. They weren't lying about getting back to you either. They reached out to me a few weeks before our picnic to talk through the schedule I had submitted to them on our online portal (that was another cool feature- you have your own online portal that allows you to lay out a timeline of when you want announcements made, certain songs played, etc.) to make sure our event ran as smoothly as possible. The day of our event, our DJ Chris, made everything so easy for me. Not only was he very easy-going and helped reassure me that he had everything under control, he also was very flexible to any last minute changes. He had all the equipment he needed with him including wireless microphones, which were super helpful when making announcements around the different park locations. He also got along great with our employees. If we have the ability to request a DJ again, we will definitely be requesting him. Thanks to both Chris and DJ Connection for making our company picnic one of the best to date!

used them about a year prior, so they were my first point of contact. From the beginning, it was a great experience working with everyone! There were a couple of minor communication mixups when it came to getting the contract written up, but they were very helpful in getting things cleared up and on the way. All the planning was easily taken care of in the online client portal. That system is a bit clunky especially in organizing the event timeline, but it's still nice to be able to know exactly what's going where and have things tailored to exactly what we needed. For our wedding, I have nothing but praise for the way things went. Timing was perfect, the DJ even was able to loop a few pieces of music seamlessly when we took longer than planned on the processional. Just a couple days before the wedding, we had some last-minute changes, and they were more than accommodating and happy to help! Everything went so smoothly for ceremony and reception, and I can't recommend DJ Connection highly enough!

was it! Their process is different then anything I had ever seen and was so streamlined and organized. I got several calls to make sure that every detail was perfect and customized to perfection. From the coordinators to the DJ himself, everyone at DJ connection was so courteous and professional, making the process not only easy but enjoyable! Not every vendor was so understanding when speaking to the maid of honor instead of the bride, but DJ connection never treated me wrong. They were very modern and cooperative above all else. As for the music on the day of, it was perfect! The DJ followed instructions to the t, but also had his own DJ flair that was perfect for the mood of the reception. The ceremony music was great as well. His set up was quick and easy and he knew exactly what he was doing, he even brought a whole set up for a surprise performance by some of the junior members of the wedding party. Needless to say if we had the chance to do it over again we would definitely make the same choice. DJ connection was the way to go, professional, affordable, and the overall right choice. The perfect backtrack to the perfect day!
