Brett was our DJ for our 11/2020 wedding and we cannot say enough kind things about him. He worked with us throughout the many twists and turns of covid to provide a safe and comfo...
rtable experience for our guests. He works so hard to curate music that fits your vibe and aesthetic. He is definitely is the DJ for you if you're an audiophile, have selective music taste, or just want something a little bit different. He will be sure to get your guests dancing.
Brett was awesome- such a blast to work with and crushed it the day of. He is not your "cookie-cutter" (ha!) wedding DJ by any means- he made our night the fun, cool party we wante...
d it to be. No cheesy gimmicks or putting on a show, just good music. He graciously coordinated with a band we also had to ensure smooth transitions. Above all else, he helped my family pull off an epic surprise that was the hit of the night. Thanks, Brett!
Brett was an absolutely incredible DJ from start to finish. We worked with him for our 75 person wedding reception in July 2019 at Easton's Beach Rotunda in Newport RI.

very first phone call Brett felt like a friend. He was very easy to talk to and schedule. We weren't exactly quick to get him our event outline and song choices, yet he had no problem pulling it off seamlessly. We also put in some late requests for extra mics and lights that he accommodated with ease.
As for the day of the event, Brett was great at navigating our unusual order of events, and helpful in keeping things running on schedule. And then there was dancing. Our dance party was epic, and that was largely due to Brett. He did a masterful job weaving songs we had selected, songs he intuited we'd like, and guest requests. Also, he admirably dealt with the guests who were requesting songs on our do not play list, neither playing the song nor upsetting the guest.
Tldr; Brett is a champion. Hire Brett.
DJ Cookie Policy went above and beyond on our wedding day. He was careful to understand our tastes in music and capture the correct mood for our reception. He was also extremely ac...
commodating and patient with our last minute scheduling of meetings and song changes. I was genuinely worried that no one was going to dance at our wedding. This thought could not be farther from the truth. In fact, the majority of our guests were asked to leave the dance floor at the end of the night because the reception hall was closing. He did a great job at keeping the party going!
Book Brett now! Don't even waste time looking for a DJ!
We had an intimate 45 person wedding in Providence, RI in a private restaurant setting. Music was one of the most important...
parts of our day, as we wanted a killer dance party after an intimate dinner. 3 weeks later, our guests are still talking about what a great time they had- and how great of a job he did!
Cocktail hour music and music during dinner was PERFECT--His song choices made us feel like we somehow knew Brett all of our lives; it was as if he tapped into our brains and played exactly what we would have played. After dinner he had the task of moving his equipment from the bar area to the dining room after dinner to create a dance floor. Along with the restaurant staff, this was done seamlessly. It was like they did this every weekend. There was suddenly a disco ball and an epic build up, and then Bowie's "let's dance". People danced all night.
You can tell Brett has a lot of experience, and he is great at what he does. He was friendly and engaging with guests. Brett was very responsive, always in a timely manner. I want to get married again/repeat the day, just to relive that dance party. thank you thank you thank you!
will start by saying my mother actually danced at my wedding and I don't think I have ever seen her dance in my life. The music was perfect, the lighting was perfect. I gave Brett ...
a list of songs I liked which he incorporated throughout the night and also kept to the style I requested- I specifically didn't want to only hear top 40's or over-played party music (ie no cha cha slide). He was really able to read the crowd and choose songs to keep everyone going. He kept on schedule, introduced the various speakers, and even accommodated my last minute request to have a few of my friends perform live, making sure the sound system was equipped for that. He also went above and beyond and was able to play both the ceremony and reception music (at two different locations) and set up/broke down twice, without skipping a beat. People actually came up to me later and said that this was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding, that they couldn't remember the last time they danced so much....Anyway, I couldn't have been happier and would recommend Brett a million times over.
Brett was GREAT! He tailored the play list to my husband's favorites as requested. He was such a pleasure to work with to set up the arrangement and a joy to finally meet in per...
son. We would ABSOLUTELY use Brett's services again in a heartbeat. He was perfect for the Surprise 40th Birthday Party but I'm sure he'd be fantastic for any event. You can't go wrong with Brett! THANK YOU Brett!
My fiancée and I recently got married and held a reception in Boston over the Memorial Day weekend. In planning, it was important to my wife and I that we be able to host an exciti...
ng and active dance party and Brett (DJ Cookie Policy) did an exceptional job in making that a reality!
In preparation for the event, Brett asked us to fill out a template ‘Roadmap’ which served as a guideline for him to tailor the event to our musical preferences. We provided information on the schedule of events (ie: announcements, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) as well as the many songs we wanted to hear over those periods of the reception. Days prior to the event, Brett held a phone conversation to resolve outstanding questions and ensure that he was comfortable with the plan.
Brett’s professionalism in handling/managing the event is commendable which allowed my wife and I to thoroughly enjoy the company of our guests and the party without being concerned about logistics. He arrived early enough to set up his equipment and additional uplights for the reception, allowing the event to start on time. He served as a Master of Ceremonies and maintained the energy of the room (and the dance floor) throughout the ~6 hour event. This was particularly impressive given the relatively small event size (65 people).
Brett is a master of his craft and was a pleasure to work with! …The man also has an exceptional sense of fashion 😊

Our music was one of the most important components of our wedding. Brett was the first vendor we booked and we cannot recommend him enough. His music choices were great, he blended genres seamlessly, and most importantly, he kept everyone dancing all night.
We seriously want to hire him again and again just so we can throw kick-ass dance parties all the time.
