Our wedding day was incredible thanks to Cory! The team set up lighting and was able to provide music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception (all different locations) seamlessly. Cory was our DJ for the event and was a huge hit. There were times in the night that Cory just acted on instinct to keep the party lively and so many of our guests truly loved interacting with him. He's professional and is so willing to make sure you have the greatest wedding day possible! We actually had a silent disco for the last 60 minutes of our reception and it was the highlight of everyone's night. Our guests are still talking about this and say it was the most fun wedding they've been to all year!

During our planning process we heard glowing reviews about Cory from nearly all our vendors, and after working with him, he absolutely lives up to the hype! We had very specific music preferences and he executed them all perfectly. His communication on the day of the wedding was fantastic, and all the music/announcements throughout the course of the wedding flowed seamlessly. Cory is truly the best, would absolutely recommend him!

Cory was the best! We worked with a couple other vendors with music and the transitions and microphone involvement from Cory was flawless. We gave some direction with dinner music and were blown away by how much we felt like he "understood our vision". The entire night was high energy and every generation at our wedding was dancing. We got compliments on the DJ from every single guest. The lighting that came included in our package was perfect and assisted our videographer. We weren't able to use any of the other fun extras due to venue restrictions but the cold sparklers sounded fun! Extremely professional, on time, plays well with other vendors the list goes on. Went above and beyond at the end of the night after our videographer and photographer had left, He filmed our " exit " which was a balloon drop with his personal phone. I can't thank Cory enough for his attention to detail for such a large part of our event.

Absolutely incredible! DJ Darby Place was so easy to work with and gave us all the time we needed to plan with him! He took all of our ideas and made the most memorable music! Truly a wonderful part of our day that we will never forget! HIGHLY recommend!!!!

DJ Cory Barron is by far the best DJ! He kept the party going throughout the entire reception and all our friends and family had a blast and the dance floor was packed all night long! Dr Cory made our wedding a hit! He was able to pull my vision off for the cocktail hour, draping small twinkle lights to create a canopy on the top of the venue, which was absolutely breathtaking. Cory did a wonderful job keeping the flow of the wedding and everyone on the dance floor. Anyone having a wedding in St Pete/Tampa area you should 100% use their services!

We had the pleasure of working with DJ Andrew for our wedding. Upon the completion of their music survey, he took the time to gauge our tastes and was able to curate the perfect playlist. The transition from song to song was also very seamless. Our guests had a blast dancing to 2000-10s hip hop at the reception. We would highly recommend this vendor for weddings and celebrations!

My husband and I wanted to surprise our wedding guests and add a wow factor to our choreographed first dance and we thought why not have some fireworks?! We used Dj Cory for our Cold Sparklers! Unfortunately, due to rain, we had to move our reception inside and we were only able to have the cold sparklers go off outside the balcony instead of inside the room. Even though the sparklers went off outside, it still made our dance so memorable! Cory was so kind and give us a little more time with the sparklers outside so we could take some photos and videos! It was such a pleasure to work with Cory! He was so professional and responsive. If you are thinking about doing cold sparklers for your big day .. do it! Your photos and videos will look amazing!

DJ Cory Barron was the first person we hired for our wedding. When we met him at a wedding expo we instantly knew we had to have him. He was extremely personable and just had great energy. He was so helpful in so many steps of the wedding. He helped us figure out the timeline, he was ready to help answer questions about other potential vendors, he helped us finalize on our photographer and most importantly of all he made our wedding day totally unforgettable. He knew our vision and he fully brought that to life. Every single person that came to the wedding was raving about how fantastic he was. He just kept the wedding day flowing perfectly. When the reception started and everyone got on the dance floor--people DID NOT leave until the night was over. The music could not have been more on point. He is very good at feeling the crowed and playing the music that fits. He is also very attentive to details...on our wedding day some of the groomsmen kept humming/ singing "Unwritten Natasha Bedingfield" during the reception he played a remix of that song and everyone went CRAZY. There are not enough word to describe how great he is or to thank him for making out wedding the best day of our life. HE made our wedding day the best day of our life.

We hired Cory for our wedding reception at Armature Works and highly recommend him! He does so much more than just DJ! We had special music for our cocktail hour and dinner service, my husbands family is very Italian so we gave him a bunch of music they use at formal events. He made sure to have each and every one of our special songs in the correct format (think original v. Remasters v. Remixed), that he had the correct pronunciation for all of the introductions, the gorgeous sparkler fountains queued up at the dip in our first dance. He honestly kept everyone on the dance floor the whole time! I highly recommend you share your aesthetic ideas with him, as he can also help to make some of those ideas come to life. I would recommend him 10x over again!

We had heard amazing things about DJ Cory but having never planned an event before, we didn’t fully understand how a DJ could really be such an integral part of our day. We were reluctant to invest so much in something that we thought was easy to DIY ourselves. Maybe some DJ’s just press play on a playlist but Cory delivered above and beyond. He truly captured the energy of the night and engaged our guests, kept us on track, and influenced the entire vibe from start to finish of our intimate reception. He added lighting to set the mood, checked in with us on timelines, provided mics for speeches, caught our dog who was running off during our exit, helped turn the heaters on… I mean, really, he’s so much more than a DJ. My only regret is not trusting his process sooner. Your wedding vendors will make or break your day, and our day was absolutely perfect in large part to Cory’s professionalism, preparedness, and commitment to throw a great party. If you want to leave your wedding shocked at how amazing it was; hire Cory.

Cory DJ’d our wedding and every guest kept telling us how great he was doing. He played all the music we recommended and more. He fed off the crowd and provided lighting we didn’t even think would be necessary. All in all he was more than we could’ve asked for.

Cory was AMAZING! He picked up on our vibe immediately in our consultation and created the perfect environment for our wedding night! He even surprised us with sparkler/firework feature which was incredible! If you want to have a great night then make sure you hire Cory and his team.

Hiring a good DJ was the biggest, most important thing for us. We've been to plenty of weddings where no-one was dancing and that was our biggest fear. Cory did the exact opposite and had our dance floor jam packed all night. He helped us with some specific songs we wanted and played a. lot of my favorite songs all night and I was constantly dancing around. In fact, I barely left the dance floor at all and had the most fun ever. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to.. many saying it was a 15/10! We truly had a blast and randomly decided that karaoke was the best thing for the night and Cory just let it ride, and it was so fun. Cory also did a great job on the lighting and the color lights when the dancing started. As a wedding vendor myself and a bride, I highly recommend! Those that came to our wedding can attest to the fact that the party was on the dance floor. Cory is AMAZING. There are no better words. From Day 1 he was incredibly easy to work with. Their client questionnaire is so thorough and gave us ample opportunity to express our desires for our event. Cory was able to completely translate all of our thoughts, scrambled sentences, and preferences into the most fun day of music. Everything ran so smoothly, and he did an incredible job keeping the event on schedule and moving. I would hire him again and again and again. Absolutely no complaints, he was phenomenal.

On our day, my husband and I already had to fit against the rising pandemic, we didn't plan nor expect anything else to happen on this day. HOWEVER, DJ Cory truly saved our day. When our hired DJ had an unexpected health scare and was no longer able to pump up the party ---- DJ Cory stepped right in. Without having previously met with us he left the wedding he was attending next door to ours to keep our guest on their feet the whole night through. We truly cannot thank DJ Cory more than what he did for us. I HIGHLY recommend him as the only thing our guest remember about that night was how much fun they truly had.

We hired DJ Cory Barron & Co. for our wedding and have no regrets. Throughout the planning process, Cory was very helpful. He answered all of our questions in a timely fashion and provided us with helpful resources for picking our wedding music. They have a great selection of DJ booths and we were able to select one that went with our wedding aesthetic. DJ Andrew was our wedding DJ and he did a great job accommodating some last minute playlist AND timeline changes. He was very personable and a pleasure to work with!

Having Cory Barron at our wedding was one of the best aspects of our day. He asked all the right questions and worked with our planner to make sure things flowed perfectly, and our reception was the party of a lifetime. His company provided super helpful playlists for us to choose from so that we could really customize the experience for our guests. And of course anything we asked him to play he kindly did! Choosing the right DJ and music for your wedding day can make or break the mood at your reception especially, and both my husband and I agree you won't go wrong working with Cory. We are so grateful to have worked with such a professional who also knows how to keep the party going all night long.

We hired Andrew for our wedding in February 2020 at Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk. From the moment we had our initial call to discuss what we desired in a DJ and how the team with DJ Cory Barron operate, we knew we had a perfect match. The process was very simple and they are very detailed in their planning process. We didn't have a complicated playlist, but definitely had a vibe we wanted to set from the beginning. He went so beyond my expectations. He's very intuitive to responding to the crowd, and when I say he kept the dance floor alive for FOUR HOURS.... I think I left the dance floor for 3 songs total that night. It was one of the BEST receptions I've ever been to (maybe I'm biased cause it was my wedding after all....) but he was AMAZING!!! I probably should have paid double what I paid for the kind of service and party they provided. Truly amazing.

First and foremost, Cory is a ROCKSTAR. He is so pleasant, kind, and super responsive. He is very open to however the couple wants their music to be and is extremely flexible. He made time to meet up with us twice before the big day to go over music and day of details. I know it never happens, but EVERYTHING was on time! The entire day Cory worked diligently with the Kapok staff, the photographer, catering company, and videographer to ensure everything went smooth, and it did! We got so many compliments on the music and how fun he was. It was our best decision to hire Cory Barron. He will not disappoint!

From the first time we talked to Cory, we couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else to be the DJ for our wedding reception. He was so easy to talk to and always willing to answer my millions of questions. From the beginning, we were confident that we made the right choice in our entertainment hire for our special day. On our wedding day, Cory helped us create playlists for our reception (dinner, first dances, cake cutting, dancing, etc). After giving him only a few recommendations on our style of music, he put together playlists that were spot on with our taste in music while giving enough variety that every guest would enjoy themselves. Besides being an amazing DJ, Cory is also a wonderful MC and does a great job of keeping things on schedule while keeping the party going all night. Our guests loved the variety of music he played and the uplighting he did made our space look beautiful. We can not recommend Cory enough to make the wedding of your dreams come true!

Cory was our DJ in June and he did such a fantastic job! Communciation with him was great throughout the entire process, and he did an amazing job with our uplighting, introductions and song choices. All of our songs were spot on and played at the right time, and he also was wonderful about using his own judgment for the times we weren't sure what songs we wanted (like cocktail hour). He kept the dance floor full all night long and our guests had a blast. Highly, highly recommend!!

We recently had our wedding at Rooftop 220 next to Armature works and we had the pleasure of having DJ Cory Baron as our DJ for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. I have nothing but great things to say about Cory throughout our entire wedding process. My wife had originally heard DJ Cory at her workplace and was so impressed with his skills that we set up a meeting with him. From the start he was incredibly personable but also very professional and detail oriented. He did a great job at learning about us and all of our musical tastes and created a detailed spreadsheet of every aspect of the wedding. Everything from the song we played after we exchanged our first kiss to the reception music was perfectly designed to fit our specific needs. We were very picky with our music and specifically laid out exactly what we wanted and he was very accommodating to us and executed the music perfectly with his own flairs here and there. During the reception we picked one of his spotify playlists that contained acoustic EDM and it was awesome. My wife's family is latino so we were concerned about how much Spanish music would be played, but he found a perfect balance and got everyone dancing and doing merengue. He also has uplighting for the walls that we rented from him that turned out beautiful and I highly recommend them if they don't come with your venue because they really set the mood. Also, a couple of other really nice things we liked. DJ Cory is incredibly attentive to the bride and groom. He even made several efforts to check in with us at appropriate times and made sure we had everything we needed like drinks or food, etc. A note on our ceremony: we had some fun music choices like the Game of thrones intro and star wars, etc and he absolutely nailed it with timing and volume and everything. A note about our reception: we had a lot of unique characteristics to our wedding like trivia during dinner and a fog machine during the dancing and he managed all of that and did a superb job. So if you have unique things about your wedding that you need a DJ to accommodate, he does a great job. One thing I will say is that we were initially concerned because Cory will meet with you and get all of the pertinent information from you and then will touch base again a month before the wedding and that's really it. So we were concerned that he may not have enough information or he might not execute or whatever. But we could not have been more wrong. He was incredible throughout the entire process and despite us being super picky, he performed perfectly from start to finish. He is a meticulous guy who does not seem to miss any details so he can 100% be trusted to handle even the most complicated weddings. In conclusion, we cannot rave enough about DJ Cory Baron and I promise you if you trust him with your DJ needs, he will be a big part in making your wedding day special. 10/10, would recommend to everyone.
