From the moment we first messaged Craig, we knew there was no one else who could match the energy and vibe we wanted for our wedding. We booked him more than two years in advance b...
ecause his reputation spoke for itself, and we knew that if we didn’t secure him, someone else would!
To anyone considering booking Craig, we could not recommend him more highly! We received countless compliments during and after our wedding about his incredible energy, music taste, and overall presence. From the very beginning, Craig made us feel confident in what to expect when working with him. He was responsive, accessible, and always willing to answer questions, which was especially helpful for a bride who appreciated a little extra support and guidance when choosing music. He also offered fantastic suggestions to keep the reception flowing naturally and maintain high energy throughout the entire night.
His planning form was incredibly organized and mapped out the day from the moment he arrived, ensuring we knew where he would be, when he would be there, and what music would be playing at every point. Our final planning call gave us so much confidence that everything would run smoothly on the big day. When Craig reviewed our timeline and noticed a song selection we had left incomplete, he reached out immediately to make sure every detail was accounted for. His attention to detail and proactive communication gave us complete peace of mind, not just about the music, but also about how everything would come together with our other vendors.
Craig knew exactly how to read the room and play music that catered to our guests, no matter their tastes. His transitions were seamless, and our dance floor was never empty! If you’re looking for a DJ who is talented, professional, incredibly responsive, knowledgeable, and knows how to throw an unforgettable party, you’ve found your guy in Craig. From the moment he arrived to the very end of the night, he truly went above and beyond. We would hire him again in a heartbeat!

redibly responsive, accessible, and always willing to answer any questions or address any concerns. His planning form was extremely organized and thorough, which gave us so much confidence that everything would go smoothly on the big day. And not only did it go smoothly, it exceeded our expectations!
Craig worked seamlessly with our wedding planner, Stephanie with WedwithSteph, and they made an amazing team. Even when we needed to make last-minute changes to the ceremony order the day before the wedding, Craig handled everything without hesitation.
Our daughter was very specific about her music choices, right down to the exact minute and second each song needed to start and stop for the ceremony and formal dances. Craig absolutely nailed every single detail! He also offered great suggestions to keep the reception flowing naturally and the energy high all night long.
He played everything we wanted and nothing we didn’t. Honestly, the way Craig blended the music and transitioned from one song to the next was better than anything we’ve experienced at any wedding we’ve attended. The dance floor was NEVER empty! He knew exactly how to read the crowd and keep everyone, of all ages, dancing and having the time of their lives.
As parents of the bride, we couldn’t have asked for a better DJ to help make our daughter’s wedding so special and memorable. Craig truly went above and beyond, and we would hire him again in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for a DJ who is professional, organized, responsive, talented, and knows how to throw an incredible party, look no further than Craig! Highly, highly recommend!

t common comments we got after our wedding was "Your DJ was amazing!" because Craig truly kept the dance floor packed all night. We didn't give him much guidance in terms of music style - we trusted him to take the wheel and he delivered! Additionally, Craig helped us coordinate uplighting for our space, MC-ed throughout the event, and set up all our sound/music needs for our ceremony and cocktail hour in addition to the reception, so he was really a one stop shop. And he's also a wonderful resource in general for tips and tricks to make a wedding day run smoothly, which is quite a bonus!
We truly cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Craig! From our very first conversation, he was organized, attentive, professional, and genuinely kind to work with. He made the ...
entire planning process feel easy and stress-free.
On our wedding day, he absolutely exceeded every expectation. As both DJ and MC, he kept the night flowing seamlessly and created the perfect atmosphere from start to finish. The music was incredible — the dance floor stayed packed all night, and the energy never slowed down. We had so many guests come up to us saying how much they loved the music and how fun the night was!
DJ Craig played such a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable, and without a doubt, he was one of the best vendors we hired. We would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. Truly 5 stars all the way!

etween professional and fun, completely understood the vibe we wanted, and helped guide our music selections while fully respecting our “do not play” list. Thanks to DJ Craig the dance floor was packed all night long with guests of all ages. He kept the energy up and truly played a huge role in making our wedding unforgettable!!
Craig made sure our wedding was an absolute BLAST! From communication and thoroughness in the planning stages, to making sure everything progressed smoothly during the wedding, to ...
keeping the dancefloor rolling with bop after bop, he made sure everything went perfectly!
Craig was super professional/experienced, with the good vibes and energy needed to make our wedding the party of our dreams. We received many comments from our guests echoing this praise, and with good reason!
We'd highly recommend him to anyone, but ESPECIALLY if you want to incorporate some gaming or anime music into the event. Craig knows his stuff!
We are so happy that we chose Craig to DJ our wedding! He came highly recommended and he certainly lived up to the hype. From the beginning he was easy to communicate with via emai...
l and phone. Our initial meeting was informative and efficient! Going forward we appreciated that Craig communicated about all the important details in a flexible manner (i.e., Google Docs) and did not require excessive meetings or repeated communication. We had all our questions and concerns answered and addressed throughout the process! On the day of the wedding, Craig was professional and self sufficient, working along side our planner/coordinator seamlessly. The music choices were perfect for cocktail hour and dinner with the focus on the music and vibes (no unneeded comments or talking over the mic which I've seen from DJs at other weddings). We had a smaller wedding with only 40 guests, but the dance floor was insanely fun the whole night. Craig respected our music requests, matched the vibes of the dance floor, and played sick mash ups. We had an amazing time and our guests made so many comments about how great our DJ was. We cannot thank Craig enough for cultivating the dance floor of our micro-wedding dreams and for being so easy to work with throughout the whole process!
We hired Craig after he was recommended by our wedding planner and he was a joy to work with. Very communicative. Very focused on how he could make our wedding the day of our dream...
s. He played great music and was really flexible about us changing some songs last minute. He was a great vibe and our guests loved him. The dance floor was absolutely packed. The best part was that he timed everything perfectly with no mistakes. Thank you, Craig!!
We absolutely recommend DJ Craig Wood. We knew from hearing him at our friends wedding 2 years ago he was going to be our choice! He is extremely responsive in the planning for the...
event, and curated a playlist that was completely our vibes! As soon as he arrived (2 hours before wedding) he had everything setup and ready to go. We had a unique back-yard wedding, and he was able to accommodate all the nuance of this location. He made sure the acoustics in the tents was good, and without bothering all of our neighbors. He was also on top of unique timing requests, like walkout song after we tied the knot. Everyone had a blast on the dancefloor because he kept the hits coming. He was also great to improvise if vibes were changing or people were trying to leave the dancefloor, he'd wrangle them back up with a new song, which was amazing!
We couldn't have had the same great wedding experience that we did without his DJ'ing!
Highly Recommend!!!
The best thing you can do for your wedding is hire DJ Craig.
We got married in March 2025 and conducted a thorough search for a DJ in the D.C. area. After several interviews wit...
h multiple vendors, my partner and I immediately knew that we would hire DJ Craig once we spoke with him on the phone.
Throughout the planning process— DJ Craig was fast and clear communicator, had transparent pricing, and provided a ton of insights that helped us coordinate the audio/DJ flow for our wedding day. And, he's a DELIGHTFUL person to talk to!
Most importantly here— DJ Craig *ROCKS.* I am telling you, ALL of our guests had RAVE reviews about this man!!!! His music selection was incredible and his mixing between songs felt seamless (meaning— absolutely no awkward gaps/silences between songs)! He included all of our must-plays and somehow magically read our minds to figure out all the other songs we’d want to hear on our wedding day to fill out the rest of the playlist. The dance floor was absolutely *on fire.* I can't stress enough how much we all danced and how much our guests loved his set!
From the start of our day to the very end, Craig was extremely reliable. He showed up on time to help set up the audio production for our ceremony, which was flawless, and then transitioned to DJ-mode for the second half of the night. He also provided and set up incredible party lighting that really set the tone for our dance floor.
Reader: I **cannot recommend this man enough** do yourself a favor and hire DJ Craig!!!!
One of the most important things to us on our wedding day was making sure everyone danced, so we knew choosing the right DJ was extremely important.

He truly listened to all of our thoughts and preferences and played the best music all night long—the dance floor wasn’t empty for a single moment. At one point it even started raining, and DJ Craig played the PERFECT song that had all of us running outside and dancing in the rain (I still dream about this moment). It was such an unforgettable moment. He helped make our day beyond perfect, and we cannot recommend him highly enough.

thday! He’s a gem, laid back and easy to work with. He’s here for YOU and to make your event talked about for years to come. So much that 3 years after getting married it’s all my husband talks about is the good vibes, energy and bringing people together. Can’t wait for his party and have him recreate an amazing night and have another event knocked out of the park.

then day-of he absolutely crushed it. All our guests were on the dance floor all night and everyone still to this day talks about how great he was. Wish I could have Craig at every event I go to!!
Craig was AMAZING! We gave him the difficult task of keeping us on the dance floor for almost 3 1/2 hours and boy did he deliver.
He made sending him music that we liked such an e...
asy process and he filled in all of the time perfectly matching exactly the vibes and feelings we wanted.
He even heard, during our vows, that we liked anime and then proceeded to play some anime music during dinner that my now husband and I recognized and got so excited about!
We got MULTIPLE compliments all night long about just how good he was -- both in how fun the music was but how funny they thought he was when he was on the mic as well.
He also worked brilliantly with our other vendors - he already knew our coordinator (and she was the one who recommended him) and he was able to get everything connected for our videography team as well so we'd have great sound there too.
All in all Craig was just fabulous and we can't recommend him enough!
Craig is amazing! From his quick response time to the incredible vibes he brings, he has it all. Prior to the wedding, Craig was very responsive and detail-oriented. He asked speci...
fic questions to ensure our expectations as a couple were met—and even exceeded. Craig is exceptionally gifted at reading the room and matching the music vibe to the crowd. He kept our dance floor packed all night with guests of all ages. Everyone has been telling us how amazing the music at our wedding was, and several of our friends have already inquired about having him DJ theirs! Every couple would be lucky to have him.
We could not have asked for a better DJ than DJ Craig! From start to finish, he absolutely nailed the music and kept the dance floor packed all night long. He brought so much energ...
y and fun to our reception, and everyone was raving about how great the music was.
What really stood out was how personal he made everything. He took the time to get to know us and truly listened to what we wanted, even adding special “theme music” moments throughout the night, like the JMU fight song, Baldur’s Gate music, and Star Wars! Those touches were such a hit and made the night feel so uniquely us.
Craig also filmed our ceremony, first dances, and speeches, then edited and sent us a beautiful video we will treasure forever. It was so thoughtful and professional, and we loved being able to relive those moments.
He was professional, organized, and so easy to work with leading up to the big day. He kept the evening flowing seamlessly and made sure every moment felt special. We can’t thank him enough for making our reception and memories absolutely unforgettable and helping make our wedding day the best day ever. He really is the best!

ng. He knows the ins and outs of the business and is able to give feedback and suggestions that made the day run perfectly. Not to mention he played the absolute BEST mash-up of songs. Craig is reads the room and the dance floor like no other. We received texts for days after the wedding raving about how amazing our DJ was. If you want to wedding that guests are going to rave about - book Craig! He was hands down one of our favorite vendors and we will continue to recommend him to all our friends!

. He was always available for phone calls, took the time to listen to all of our thoughts and requests, and offered helpful suggestions that truly elevated the experience. He even provided some professionally cut music for our dances.
Craig put together a detailed timeline that helped everything run smoothly, and he handled both our ceremony sound and reception uplighting flawlessly. When it came time for the party, the transitions were seamless, and the dance floor was absolutely amazing—no one wanted to leave!
We gave him a few “must-plays” and “like-to-hears,” and he filled in the rest with the perfect music to match the vibe. His ability to read the room and keep the energy high was incredible. Craig truly set the tone for an unforgettable night, and we’re so grateful to have had him as part of our celebration. Highly, highly recommend!

ime. He Dj’d our friends wedding and I also know him in the wedding industry and have always heard great things. He was interactive just the right amount with guests when he needed to announce things, and played great songs all night even though I felt I mainly just gave a general vibe and general artists. I was overwhelmed trying to choose music, but he understood the style we were going for. He also had lights so we didn’t have to hire a separate vendor for those. Highly recommend! Craig will keep your party rockin!
I have 3500 characters here to extoll the virtues of DJ Craig and I'm gonna use as many as I can. He was the perfect choice for our wedding and did a stellar job from start to fin...
ish! In the time before the big day, Craig worked with us to make sure he nailed our music tastes. He was communicative, attentive to details, and open to having a few curveballs thrown in. Craig made some great recommendations, and went the extra mile to provide us with some additional audio/video coverage for our ceremony. We had a multi-cultural wedding so he was given a big ol' list of Latin dance songs to mix in which he did so seamlessly! We were a bit non-traditional in some ways and wanted things upbeat from the jump - we both feel Craig nailed the atmosphere we were hoping for; people were bopping in their seats from the ceremony through to the reception, and when the real dancing kicked off it never died down! We received great compliments and feedback from attendees and every one of them included the music in their comments. If you want a droll event with sleepy people and no fun, I'm afraid you'll need to look elsewhere. But if you're a normal human and want to have a great time, DJ Craig will bring it and then some! Stop reading this and book Perpetual Sound!! Seriously, stop reading, it's over anyway. THANKS CRAIG!! (and for anyone counting, this is 1459 characters. It could have been more but you should have stopped when I said so.)

the perfect atmosphere for our wedding day. Craig provided music and sound services for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as well as lighting for our reception. All of our music selections were blended perfectly and Craig was extremely helpful in creating our reception entrance (which we had a very particular vision for). But the best part of Craig’s services was his ability to read the crowd. We gave very little direction (a few must-plays) and Craig nailed it. The dance floor was packed, and many of our guests commented on Craig’s song selections and how great the music was. Craig truly created an amazing wedding atmosphere and it was such a pleasure working with Craig. Craig made our wedding day stress-free and allowed us to truly celebrate and enjoy the day with our family and friends. We highly recommend Craig!!!

order of events for the reception. When we met with him to go through the line up before the wedding, he was super friendly and made a real effort to get to know us. During the wedding day, DJ Craig managed everything without any flaws or hiccups. He managed the mic and speakers for our ceremony, on top of the music. He played music throughout the cocktail reception while setting up for the reception itself. We gave him a few suggestions of what to play during dinner and the cocktail reception, and he went with it and knocked it out of the park with fantastic song choices! For the dance party, he made sure to play a few of our favorites and was super responsive to the crowd and what songs they were feeling. For the vast majority of the evening, there were at least 15-20 people on the dance floor because he kept the party going so well! We could not have been more pleased with his work and how the wedding went! Also, DJ Craig has very reasonable prices, especially considering the quality we received!

The execution of our wedding was flawless, thanks in large part to Craig's incredible talent as a DJ. His music choices were spot-on, and he had a knack for keeping everyone on the dance floor until the very last song. Multiple guests commented that he was the best DJ they've ever experienced at a wedding, and several even asked for his contact information for their own events.
If you're looking for someone who not only delivers amazing music but also brings professionalism and a true passion for making your event memorable, Craig Wood is your guy. Thank you, Craig, for making our wedding day absolutely unforgettable!

Fast forward...
to a few weeks before the wedding, we had trouble narrowing down our songs but Craig patiently listened to our needs and wants. A day or two before the wedding (I’m sorry, Craig! But you’re amazing), my indecisive self made an impromptu decision to say a few thank-you words during the reception to our wonderful vendors and the wedding planner whose birthday happened to be on our wedding day. Craig and I discussed options, and he was happy to adjust and make it happen. On the day of our big day, Craig executed without any hesitation and everything worked out perfectly. Thanks to Craig and his fun personality, all of our guests also had a great time. There was no time for awkward downtime or silence throughout. It was a great array of emotions and we loved every moment. Craig even added in our inside joke Burger King theme song! It was so awesome. We HIGHLY recommend Craig! If we have special events, we would totally ask for Craig again.

o know us so we had absolute trust in him on our wedding day to play a curated playlist for our reception. He dropped beats that catered to every guest, and a few extra that he knew we would love. He kept us dancing hours beyond the planned time. Our guests had a blast! Beyond his musical genius, Craig is professional and organized - which gave us great comfort. He managed audio during our outdoor ceremony and it was crystal clear. He also was consultative in helping us plan our reception timeline so that toasts and first dance were thoughtfully time. I have zero criticisms. Craig is FIRE!

e many weddings they have been to. He went above and beyond for our wedding - for our first dance, he combined different parts of the song and made it flow perfectly. He was very technology-savvy and ran different wires discretely so that we could make sure all of our guests could hear the speeches from inside and outside. He is so lovely to work with and I would choose him over and over again!!!!

After we left, my husband looked at me and said "I love that guy and he is going to keep the dance floor lit!". And that is exactly what DJ Craig did! Our guests never left the dance floor and we had so many people texting us the next day saying how awesome he was, and some people even asked for his business card at the wedding! I'm telling you he is the best of the best. You need him to be your DJ. You won't regret it!
