This decorator did our stage decorations for a religious festival in Aucland last year. It was gorgeous. Finished the job as per our requirements. We hired this decorator to do the decoration for this year festival as well. Venue: Ram Mandir in Auckland on 16/03/2024 On Saturday evenning, starting by 6 pm. Each and everyone are welcome. There are enough adequate words to describe our satisfaction with DJ Dave for our wedding entertainment. From the moment we reached out to request his services all the way through the big day, Dave was nothing short of professional, accommodating, and helpful with our requests. He worked with us on our playlist and special requests and had the wedding guests involved the entire evening. Everyone loved him and his eagerness to add as much fun to the celebration as possible. We want to have another event just so we can hire DJ Dave again! He's the best!

DJ Dave was great to work with for our November wedding. He spoke on the phone to us a few times throughout the process and worked hard to get a good understanding of who we were as a couple and the kinds of music we liked. My husband collaborated with him on a musical surprise (my mom wrote a song for us that she wanted played at the wedding), which went very well. During the wedding, Dave was communicative and thoughtful; he went out of his way to check in with us about a few songs our guests requested (“I can’t remember, are you two anti-Love Shack?” got asked) and was the perfect announcer, keeping the reception on track. He even sent a few guests to make sure that my husband and I got to eat our dinner! He went above and beyond to make our experience a great success and we are both very appreciative!

I chose DJ Dave for our wedding since I always enjoy hearing him at a local establishment. He was one of the easiest vendors to work with - so accommodating and did everything we wanted without complaints. We even altered the reception timeline a few days before and this wasn't a problem for him! The dancing at our wedding was so much fun thanks to Dave! Highly recommend!

DJ Dave was amazing. One of the top things we wanted at our wedding was a lot of dancing and DJ Dave kept our dance floor packed all night long. The wedding planner he has you fill out was incredibly helpful. He is very attentive and responsive. He pays attention to all the details. Helps keep you calm when there are little hiccups with your wedding. Follows the timeline and helps to make sure things flow smoothly. We had so many people raving about how much fun our reception was and we can thank DJ Dave for that. Dave was outstanding from start to finish. He responds quickly which was very much appreciated! He emailed a simple planner for the us to fill out, and also met in person with us so we could solidify our details. Dave was on point and ready to go on our wedding day. He was already familiar with our venue which was very helpful. He can read the room and the vibe of your guests to pick the best songs and keep the saying rolling smoothly. And his equipment sounds great! 10/10 recommend!

Dave was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, he helped make our wedding the wedding of our dreams! I forgot to decide on a song for the bridesmaids to walk down to, and he selected the most perfect song at the last second. I could not recommend DJ Dave enough! Easily, hands down, the BEST DJ! DJ Dave was everything we could have asked for & more. He communicated well leading up to the wedding and during the wedding. He kept everything moving smoothly and on time. DJ Dave Entertainment recently dj's my sisters' reception this past weekend. Dave and team were efficient and professional. Allen was our dj and he went above and beyond. For example, it came to our attention, the cocktail hour may not be able to have music. Without hesitation, Allen quickly came up with a solution and taped an longer speaker wire to the ground so he can feed music into the cocktail hour. Prior to the event, I provided a set list which Allen used as a baseline for the music to be played throughout the evening. This was a long event that started at 6pm and went to 11pm. We always had good music playing troughout the night along with a great set of lights. It was a pleasure working with DJ Dave Entertainment and I do look forward to hiring them again for future events.

DJ Dave is the BEST!!! I’ve known him for years and he’s always professional and fun in every setting from restaurants and bars, to private anniversary/birthday parties, and most recently my WEDDING! George was our DJ and did a wonderful job. We supplied him with an eclectic spotify playlist and he picked additional songs that fit right in and played them in wonderful groupings. He was kind and incredibly flexible day of, making announcements and playing specific songs when we wanted them. Additionally, he worked with us to play some Greek songs for dancing, despite not being familiar with the music. We had an absolute blast dancing the night away to his soundtrack and would strongly recommend DJ Dave and his partners to anyone looking for music services in the area.

Dave was amazing! He ran our entire wedding. I had no idea what to do, where to go, where to walk.... He came to the rehearsal dinner (for hours - in the heat) and we planned everything! He showed me how everyone is supposed to go down the aisle, what order, where to walk, how long to wait in between songs, etc. Things I was worrying about so much! He literally ran the reception! We did dances, games, speeches. He planned everything perfectly, he let me know what to do and where to be! The music was amazing of course, but he did so much more than just our music! The party lights he sets up are amazing. The dancefloor was full all night long and I wish we could have kept going! I'd highly recommend Dave for any event, especially a wedding. He's the bomb!!!

DJ Dave went above and beyond for our wedding day! Our wedding was on a friend’s farm; no official venue, coordinator, etc. so DJ Dave took the role of getting the day/evening moving smoothly, which he did great! He’s got an awesome personality and kept the entire crowd dancing the whole night! Unfortunately our wedding was cut short by an hour due to terrible lightning storms, and come to find out Dave stayed and helped my two sisters clean up the whole farm and get everything straight before leaving, since everyone left frantically. Everything was great! They made song selection easy and helped us plan our reception timeline. We had a hiccup where the venue’s AC was dripping condensation right where his equipment was supposed to be and he handled it flawlessly! Polite, professional, responsive, and affordable!

DJ Dave was everything we hoped for! Professional, personable, and catered to all of our requests (and then some). He nailed it.

COVID SUCKS, we all know it and it has impacted everyone’s lives. We not big fans for we had to change our wedding date (May 30 to August 1st) and just when we thought we were in the clear our venue, that took us over a year to plan, was cancelled less than 3 weeks from our wedding date. We decided to move and redo the entire venue, because why not. Our 1st contact with DJ Dave was an hour-long conversation of us explaining our changing the wedding 3 weeks out, our needs and hopefully not coming across crazy in the process. Dave took all the information in, asked clarifying questions and offered suggestions. He was not pushy or trying to take advantage of our situation, he showed compassion and generally wanted to help and build a relationship with the folks he was working with. Our lives became very stress filled and hectic, between working, kids and meeting with vendors and the ever changing COVID restrictions we dropped balls. Dave made sure we were covered from his end. Dave ensured we stayed on track. Dave worked through his agenda for our wedding and the playlist, he even offered some great suggestions on the songs I had forgotten about (like bridal party march, last song). I have heard the horror stories of DJs that played on the boat we were using that should up in weird attire or had playlist that did not fit the crowd. Dave asked what he should wear, a TUX or suit, He asked questions to get to know us and understand what we wanted the guest to experience. He literally got the father daughter dance song 2 hours before the wedding and did a few on the fly changes because of our criteria changed without even a blip of concern. COVID added a new realm to dancing and Dave did an awesome job ensuring the guidelines where followed without overstepping. He read the crowd to understand the music and tempo, he was friendly and respectful to everyone. I had family and friends tell me the how DJ made the expertise feel normal for them and didn’t worry about the world for the 1st time in months. Looking back, the change of venue was crazy for us to do, but it was people like DJ Dave that made this wedding exactly like we had hoped for, masks and all.

DJ Dave was AWESOME!!! From the beginning of planning, he was easy to work with, helped us with picking our song choices, setting up the ceremony details with regards to music and kept us dancing all night long!! He spoke great when it came to making announcements and working well with all our other vendors to help things go smoothly. My fiance and I were so excited to have DJ Dave Entertainment at our wedding reception. Dave did such a fabulous job, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. From meeting with us at the beginning, to all the follow up emails and meetings, he made sure our day was filled with music loved by both of us. Dave did a fantastic job making sure the wedding ceremony went smoothly, and later getting the party started!!! He was amenable to all of our song requests—including songs from Trinidad and Tobago—and made sure all our special touches were perfectly integrated throughout the evening. We had DJ Joe from DJ Dave Entertainment at our wedding at Jefferson Patterson Park and we cannot say enough good things about him. First, DJ Dave did an AMAZING job communicating with us. He was very responsive to all our inquires and questions. Second, we had a sit down meeting with Joe where we got to go over the things we were expecting and he was expecting. Since, DJ Dave Entertainment has worked at JPP many times we didn't need to go over logistics, which was great. His energy was enthusiastic and very organized. Finally on our wedding day, DJ Joe wanted to check in with both me and my husband to be before hand. He did a great job keeping us on time during the reception!! We made the 100% right choice with our DJ for our wedding.

When we originally looked for a DJ, we wanted to meet with them. Get to know their personality and see if it matched with us! When we first met with Dave, we ended up talking for two hours. From then on, we knew any DJ with him would be perfect. We didn’t meet with Mark until the wedding but he was very professional, kept us on schedule and kept the dance floor busy! Couldn’t ask for anything better!

We can't thank Dave enough for playing a big role in making our wedding and reception unforgettable. We have two big loud polish families and he stepped in without being rude and took charge of it all. He clearly knows what he is doing. Would recommend to friends and family. Thanks again Dave!

Great communication! I know I took forever to respond and get stuff back to him due to complications and he was back with a response immediately and was understanding. The actual DJ we had, Mark, was great, he had everything playing at the right moment and when the reception happened played all the music we had and made the party lively trying to get people up and dance around. DJ Dave was through and through wonderful. He was responsive from the start of our DJ search, and he remained quickly accessible throughout the entirety of the planning. He was open about services available and was super accommodating for any of our needs. He arranged for beautiful instrumentals for the ceremony, fun upbeat songs for the grand entrance, and kept the party going as we transitioned from dinner jazz to modern pop and party music. He casually checked in with us throughout the night on song recommendations and the event schedule and was able to stay flexible and move our timeline back on track whenever we veered. He came out and danced with us a bit and made sure we had everything at the end of the night. He's a total pro and pleasure to be around. We fully recommend him to anyone having a wedding or social event in the area!

From the very early stages he's always been on top of responding to emails, accommodating to meet at various locations and times to meet my schedule and provided great handouts and schedules to put together to give us exactly what we wanted! He did a stellar job coordinating everything with me ahead of time and pulled the night off without a hitch ;) He was prompt, professional, personable, and all-around fantastic. Highly recommended!!!!

DJ Dave is a PROFESSIONAL! My wife and I were extremely fortunate to have him work our Wedding this past September. From early on in the process, it becomes very clear how much experience he has. His attention to detail and organization is a huge asset and made the whole process the least stressful element of planning our wedding. His easy going demeanor was also appreciated, and our planning discussions were always fun as well as productive. We also ended up using all his suggestions regarding song order, reception timelines (when to do the hora, cake cutting, etc). At the event, he handled the Ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception perfectly. His song selections were totally on point as he had a great feel for his audience the whole time. Everyone had a blast. Furthermore, he is a great MC and announcements/cues for the audience were well delivered. Overall A+ service.

As hectic as the wedding day had felt, DJ Dave was with my husband and I every step of the way and took off a load of stress! He was professional, easy to work with, and really listened to what we wanted from our day. We would definitely recommend him for anyone!
