DJ Dave was recommended to me by my matron of honor. We went with one of their packages that included lighting and ceremony services. The process of creating our playlists was so easy thanks to the online planning platform that they use. I was able to fill out a coordination form that went over all the songs for major parts of the day from the ceremony to the reception. We were also able to request the same DJ that my matron of honor used for her wedding (He was great for their wedding!). About a month before the wedding, we set up a final phone call to go over all of the selections and playlist for the reception to ensure that everything was correct. On the day of, DJ Dave was great! He was able to read the dance floor well and knew exactly what songs to play to keep everyone on the dance floor all evening. The lighting also turned out beautifully and the colors were even coordinated with our wedding colors. We were so happy with the DJ services and would highly recommend DJ Dave!

DJ Dave was such a pleasure to work with. After our original DJ was no longer available on our wedding night, Dave himself stepped up to the plate. As far as logistics go, Dave arrived plenty early to get his area set up. He mic-ed the officiant, and provided mics for everyone who gave speeches. The reception was a blast. Guests never stopped dancing (never. stopped. dancing.), and he matched the songs with the mood of the guests really well. Would recommend Dave and his company over and over again. 100% 10/10.

We booked DJ Dave for our wedding which was originally scheduled for 4/2020. Because of the lockdown we had to postpone our wedding, and actually ended up postponing it TWICE. DJ Dave was very accommodating and didn't even charge any fees for the postponement. The only change to their services was that instead of DJ Dave we worked with DJ Ish on the actual date of the wedding. DJ Ish is awesome! We had a phone meeting with him the week before the wedding where he went over his usual music strategies, which he ended up having to change completely because our guests do not know line dancing and will not dance to country music - but he did so without missing a beat. The one thing I would say is read your contract carefully. Our service was for 5 hours, which didn't cover the ceremony and reception. We extended the service day-of, for a fee.

DJ Paul was amazing! He was very attentive to what we wants and helped set the perfect vibe. No body sat in their seat the entire night, they were all on the dance floor!

The coordination and communication until the final phone call and event were great. The final planning phone call was hasty and at times I felt unheard. In the end, the details got worked out. However, beware a cover was played for our first dance song instead of the original song we requested. This took my husband and I out of the moment to where we could not fully enjoy our first dance. We also felt at times the delay between songs and late starts to songs felt awkward. However, our last dance was perfect and we were happy our "no play list" was honored!

DJ Dave was absolutely wonderful. He did such a great job at letting me and Collin know we were 5 minutes away from our next scheduled dance or event on our timeline which helped us relax and enjoy the evening. The amount of country vs party music that was played was perfect! He did a great job at keeping the dance floor active and fun and everyone of all ages felt included which I loved. The set up was wonderful and he made sure to check in with me throughout the day if I had any questions. I even had a last minute father daughter dance change because my step dad couldn’t make it and he was flexible and able to make that change for us. We had the shoe game- DJ Dave created all of the questions for us and made the game energetic and fun! We did not have a wedding planner so the fact that our DJ really lead the night made a huge difference for us.

Not to mention, the thorough phone call and planning timeline leading up to our big day helped keep things organized and really made me feel like he wanted to make sure every detail was perfect. Their staff was also super responsive to all of our emails, so all of our questions were always answered. We had DJ Paul for our wedding, from the ceremony to cocktail hour to the reception, and he was great! When we finalized our wedding details with him, he was very cooperative and made a considerable effort to make sure he understood exactly how we wanted our music and when it would be played. On top of being an amazing DJ, he was also a very energetic and enthusiastic emcee. One of our main concerns in regards to the technical aspects of the wedding were the musical performances from our family members, and he had the equipment we needed to make sure everything would run smoothly. On the dance floor, he had no problem getting our guests excited and engaged, and the song choices he had outside of what we specifically requested were on just what we were looking for. Overall, we're glad we got to work with DJ Dave Productions.

DJ Paul was a perfect match for us on our wedding day! He understood the type of music we liked and made our reception an amazing party! I had some rowdy guests and he did a good job trying to keep everyone on tract. We ran a little behind on schedule because everyone wanted to chat and take pictures but Paul did a good job of “rescuing” us so we could start the father/daughter dance etc. The booking process was super smooth and the company is super professional. My sister used them for her wedding and also had a great experience!

DJ Ish did a great job and kept people on the dance floor. He played a great list of songs from Motown, Country, to 80s rock music. This DJ has by FAR been the best DJ I have ever seen!! I have been to many weddings in my life, and my husband and I are big dancers at weddings, so we needed a good DJ to represent that. DJ Dave exceeded my husband and I's expectations and made the day so easy and fun for us. He has such a great personality to work with and he really knows how to read the crowd/mood at a wedding. He made choosing songs for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so simple with his forms and followed those with such great detail. He kept the party going the entire night for our guests and we got so many compliments on our DJ for our wedding. I highly recommend him for any event you need a DJ for. He will go above and beyond to make you and your guests happy!

DJ Dave Productions, specifically DJ Ish was the perfect DJ for our wedding! He kept the crowd going and was so fun and wonderful to work with! All of our guests are still talking about how great the DJ was! Overall our experience with DJ Dave Productions was wonderful! Rachel was always very quick to respond to our emails and questions. As a couple who had to reschedule our original date due to COVID-19, DJ Dave Productions was very easy to work with and understanding when we chose a new date. The package we went with included a photo booth, which was through a 3rd party company contracted by DJ Dave productions. The photos from the photo booth were great and the attendant very helpful and accommodating. The only downfall was that leading up to our wedding we never received any information/correspondence from the photo booth company which was Picture Me Houston Photo Booth. A month before our wedding, Rachel with DJ Dave Productions provided me with the contact information for the photo booth and I had to reach out to them in order to select a template etc. Once the template was selected I was told by Picture Me Houston that I would receive a proof in a few days. Over 2 weeks later and we still hadn't received the proof from Picture Me Houston and I had to follow up with that company again. Everything worked out fine, I just wish the 3rd party companies that DJ Dave Productions contracts for things such as photo booths were as quick to respond and follow through with things as the people at DJ Dave Productions are.

DJ Dave was the best!! We had to postpone our April wedding due to COVID to August, and he was there for us every step of the way and made the transition incredibly easy! My husband and I listen to a wide variety of music, and he was able to play a little bit of everything that we wanted. Everyone had a great time on the dance floor!

DJ Dave was phenomenal!! The online song choice platform was easy to use and when we had our pre-wedding check-in, Dave made suggestions and gave guidance to help make things perfect! He also suggested take an entire wedding guest photo as a way to get people on the dance floor. I could not recommend this suggestion more - We have the photo hanging in our living room as a reminder of everyone who came to celebrate with us. Our guests were partying until the end of the reception! Dave also helped with a monogram and colored lighting to match the venue. Excellent choice!

We found this vendor through a search on the Knot, they also were a preferred vendor for our venue. Before deciding on a DJ service, we either talked to the vendor on the phone or in person. The great thing about this process for this company is that you can schedule either an in-person meeting or phone call with them online. We decided to do an in-person meeting with DJ Dave ( owner) and his daughter Rachel (General Manager); in that meeting they went over the services and different packages that they provided and showed the online planning tools that they had to help you choose your music for the day of. We decided to go with 5 hours of DJ coverage & at the time they were doing a deal that you could get 12 uplights added to your package for free. They have a number of DJs that work for them, so when you tell them what day your event is they will tell you which DJs are available to work your event. From those available DJs, you can chose which one that you want. We had initially chosen one DJ, but ended up having to chose a different DJ when the first choice was no longer available. They were very quick to communicate this to their clients, which definitely put us at ease. And to be honest, it probably was a blessing in disguise because Nick was the absolute best from our initial phone call with him a few weeks before the wedding to the day of our wedding. One of the best selling points for us was that we were able to provide an Apple playlist for our cocktail hour to make the event represent us ( it was nice not to just pick a genre that we didn’t have a connection to). Day of, Nick showed up hours in advance to set up all his equipment inside and out. He was very professional and read the crowd quite well, keeping people dancing on the dance floor. Before the last song played, he came over to ask us if there were any songs that we hadn’t heard yet that were an absolute must. Definitely something that showed that he really cared about his clients experience. We would definitely recommend this company to any couple in the area.

DJ Dave was amazing! We had to move our wedding here from Mexico with only 28 days of planning. His company was amazing and helped us out last minute. All of our guests loved the set up and e music! Thank you again for making our wedding the best day ever!

Working with Rachel and Dave for our wedding was a great experience! They were very responsive, helped us create a playlist that incorporated so many songs that we wanted to be sure were played - the dance floor was never empty! We had a call with Dave a couple of weeks before our wedding and he had a list of all the main songs we submitted - intro, father/daughter, mother/son, cake cutting, last song, etc. He assured us that he would be checking the pulse of the room as songs came on. I.e. if a song didn't seem to get people moving, he'd move on, and I really appreciated that! We wanted our guests to really enjoy the reception and party to celebrate our marriage that day and it was really perfect. Definitely recommend DJ Dave!

There’s no doubt that the DJ is a key ingredient in the recipe for a great party and DJ Dave did not disappoint! We were so lucky to have DJ David Petry himself to bring our ceremony and reception to life. We worked with David to make sure that all of our favorite songs were incorporated throughout the night and he helped to keep everything on schedule. Most importantly he got everyone on the dance floor and kept them there all night! He brough some party lights with him too that just took the fun to another level. Our DJ was Nick, and he was AMAZING! He was great at following our directions on genres we wanted played and didn’t want played. Although guest tried to pressure him into playing something, he ALWAYS went with what the bride wanted. It was a perfect day and I recommend DJ Dave productions for any event!!

DJ Dave Productions was absolutely perfect for our wedding day. Nick was our DJ and he was amazing. Played all the right songs, we gave him our song list but told him he could play with it to fit the vibe, for example play more of the classic songs the older guests would know if it seemed to be a hit and they only way to keep the dance floor full. He took requests and merged them effortlessly into the playlist and he was able to mix the very diverse group of songs we put on our "love" list and get them all played. The only announcement hiccup was in the beginning when we were trying to get a group photo of all the guests, Nick told everyone to face one way and the photographers were saying the opposite so everyone was confused. If I could do it again I would tell the photographers to just let Nick direct the night, he was so professional and on top of it. I would recommend him to any and everyone!

I found DJ Dave at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza and everything I read about them was ON POINT. I met DJ Ish who was super charismatic and professional, just about booked him on the spot. He was on time, communicative, and even threw in some extra uplights for our event! On top of all that, he kept the party going ALL NIGHT LONG without a hitch. Everything was perfect, the playlist was great, and I have nothing but positive things to say about working with this company. They were flexible with a payment plan, the online portal made planning the evening super simple, and all the communications were timely and thorough. 10/10!!!

Our wedding venue, The Carriage House in Conroe, recommended DJ Dave and we are so happy we chose them! We had the pleasure of working with DJ Nick. The whole process was very easy and smooth. They utilize an online event planning website where you have the ability to go in and choose songs you love, like, and hate. It also allows you to build your timeline and add in all special songs such as first dance, cake cutting song, and more. Rachel was our main point of contact and she was incredibly helpful and kind. She was always quick with responses and very informative. We had a phone call talk through with our DJ roughly two weeks before the wedding which allowed us to review the details and also allowed him to get to know us a little more before our big day. On the day of, DJ Nick was energetic and on top of the timeline. He worked very well with my coordinator and other vendors on the day of as well and was incredibly professional. He took day of requests through an app and also by me talking with him and requesting songs I remembered that I wanted played at the last minute. Our dance floor was packed the entire night and he really paid attention to the crowd. Our guests haven’t stopped taking about the DJ yet! We are very happy we booked DJ Dave Productions!

DJ Dave was amazing!!! He kept the party rolling and never hesitated to help us when we needed him. All our guest continued to comment on what an amazing DJ we had for how he presented himself. We also used his photo booth which made the night more magical. The pictures were of excellent quality and he made sure we received them in a very timely matter. He made sure everything went smooth and allowed us to contact him even for the minor issues and continued to strive to ensure that we were always accommodated for the our wedding. I highly recommend him for any event and I will definitely be using him in any event we have in the future!

They did our music for both the ceremony and the reception afterwards. Really loved that we could have a list of our favorite songs, as well ones we did it want played at all. The meeting a couple says before the wedding really helped out me at ease. Couldn’t have been happier!

We recently were married in Conroe and Ish was our DJ. Everything about planning a wedding is stressful, but I promise you, if you use DJ Dave, music is the one thing on your checklist that you'll never have to worry about! From my initial phone call with David to our final phone call with Ish, these folks could not have been more attentive, courteous and reassuring that they were going to make our reception special -- and they delivered! Ish kept the reception moving on-time, kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night, and made every single one of our guests who came up to him feel special. Ish didn't treat our reception as just a "gig" - he treated it like he was facilitating a special experience for the two of us, our family, and friends! If you want to guarantee a good time on the dance floor - just book someone from DJ Dave (although i recommend Ish). You'll never have to worry and you won't be disappointed.

One of the most stressful parts of wedding planning for me was choosing the right music and the right DJ. With music and dancing being so important to my husband and me, it was something I feared getting wrong. Talking to Dave about my fears and what I wanted out of our music instantly made it clear that DJ Dave Productions was the way to go.
