asy thanks to the online planning platform that they use. I was able to fill out a coordination form that went over all the songs for major parts of the day from the ceremony to the reception. We were also able to request the same DJ that my matron of honor used for her wedding (He was great for their wedding!). About a month before the wedding, we set up a final phone call to go over all of the selections and playlist for the reception to ensure that everything was correct. On the day of, DJ Dave was great! He was able to read the dance floor well and knew exactly what songs to play to keep everyone on the dance floor all evening. The lighting also turned out beautifully and the colors were even coordinated with our wedding colors. We were so happy with the DJ services and would highly recommend DJ Dave!

ave was very accommodating and didn't even charge any fees for the postponement. The only change to their services was that instead of DJ Dave we worked with DJ Ish on the actual date of the wedding. DJ Ish is awesome! We had a phone meeting with him the week before the wedding where he went over his usual music strategies, which he ended up having to change completely because our guests do not know line dancing and will not dance to country music - but he did so without missing a beat. The one thing I would say is read your contract carefully. Our service was for 5 hours, which didn't cover the ceremony and reception. We extended the service day-of, for a fee.

The set up was wonderful and he made sure to check in with me throughout the day if I had any questions. I even had a last minute father daughter dance change because my step dad couldn’t make it and he was flexible and able to make that change for us. We had the shoe game- DJ Dave created all of the questions for us and made the game energetic and fun! We did not have a wedding planner so the fact that our DJ really lead the night made a huge difference for us.

On the dance floor, he had no problem getting our guests excited and engaged, and the song choices he had outside of what we specifically requested were on just what we were looking for. Overall, we're glad we got to work with DJ Dave Productions.

about how great the DJ was! Overall our experience with DJ Dave Productions was wonderful! Rachel was always very quick to respond to our emails and questions. As a couple who had to reschedule our original date due to COVID-19, DJ Dave Productions was very easy to work with and understanding when we chose a new date. The package we went with included a photo booth, which was through a 3rd party company contracted by DJ Dave productions. The photos from the photo booth were great and the attendant very helpful and accommodating. The only downfall was that leading up to our wedding we never received any information/correspondence from the photo booth company which was Picture Me Houston Photo Booth. A month before our wedding, Rachel with DJ Dave Productions provided me with the contact information for the photo booth and I had to reach out to them in order to select a template etc. Once the template was selected I was told by Picture Me Houston that I would receive a proof in a few days. Over 2 weeks later and we still hadn't received the proof from Picture Me Houston and I had to follow up with that company again. Everything worked out fine, I just wish the 3rd party companies that DJ Dave Productions contracts for things such as photo booths were as quick to respond and follow through with things as the people at DJ Dave Productions are.

I could not recommend this suggestion more - We have the photo hanging in our living room as a reminder of everyone who came to celebrate with us. Our guests were partying until the end of the reception! Dave also helped with a monogram and colored lighting to match the venue. Excellent choice!

in person. The great thing about this process for this company is that you can schedule either an in-person meeting or phone call with them online. We decided to do an in-person meeting with DJ Dave ( owner) and his daughter Rachel (General Manager); in that meeting they went over the services and different packages that they provided and showed the online planning tools that they had to help you choose your music for the day of. We decided to go with 5 hours of DJ coverage & at the time they were doing a deal that you could get 12 uplights added to your package for free. They have a number of DJs that work for them, so when you tell them what day your event is they will tell you which DJs are available to work your event. From those available DJs, you can chose which one that you want. We had initially chosen one DJ, but ended up having to chose a different DJ when the first choice was no longer available. They were very quick to communicate this to their clients, which definitely put us at ease. And to be honest, it probably was a blessing in disguise because Nick was the absolute best from our initial phone call with him a few weeks before the wedding to the day of our wedding. One of the best selling points for us was that we were able to provide an Apple playlist for our cocktail hour to make the event represent us ( it was nice not to just pick a genre that we didn’t have a connection to). Day of, Nick showed up hours in advance to set up all his equipment inside and out. He was very professional and read the crowd quite well, keeping people dancing on the dance floor. Before the last song played, he came over to ask us if there were any songs that we hadn’t heard yet that were an absolute must. Definitely something that showed that he really cared about his clients experience. We would definitely recommend this company to any couple in the area.

We had a call with Dave a couple of weeks before our wedding and he had a list of all the main songs we submitted - intro, father/daughter, mother/son, cake cutting, last song, etc. He assured us that he would be checking the pulse of the room as songs came on. I.e. if a song didn't seem to get people moving, he'd move on, and I really appreciated that! We wanted our guests to really enjoy the reception and party to celebrate our marriage that day and it was really perfect. Definitely recommend DJ Dave!

He took requests and merged them effortlessly into the playlist and he was able to mix the very diverse group of songs we put on our "love" list and get them all played. The only announcement hiccup was in the beginning when we were trying to get a group photo of all the guests, Nick told everyone to face one way and the photographers were saying the opposite so everyone was confused. If I could do it again I would tell the photographers to just let Nick direct the night, he was so professional and on top of it. I would recommend him to any and everyone!

Everything was perfect, the playlist was great, and I have nothing but positive things to say about working with this company.
