vibe for our wedding that simply blew us away. We STRONGLY recommend him. Half of your work is done -- you've made it to DJ David's page so please do yourself a favor and hire him for your wedding!
1) The Music: DJ David mixes and transitions EXPERTLY. We needed a DJ who had experience with K-Pop and Soca/Dancehall (we’re Korean 🇰🇷 and Guyanese 🇬🇾) and would blend these genres well with our other musical preferences (Pop, Rock, R&B, Hip-hop, Afrobeats, Reggaeton). He made sure that songs were well-timed for key moments of the night, and the volume was always just right. The dance floor was never empty. We’ve gotten NUMEROUS comments since the wedding from our family and friends (at all ages) about how good the music and DJ were throughout the evening.
2) Organization and Communication: In the weeks and months before the wedding DJ David kept us organized with his music planning Google doc. We had fun planning calls to review the wedding timeline and setup, and he was in contact with our wedding venue for technical details. He kept us in the loop, and we were able to easily clarify the few mix-ups that we had through email.
3) Thoughtfulness: DJ David was about to play one of my wife’s “must play” songs (“Golden” from KPop Demon Hunters) but noticed that she wasn’t on the dance floor. He went out of his way to flag down the maid-of-honor to find her before playing it. DJ David’s gesture provided one of my wife’s favorite and most memorable moments of the night and we will both always associate this song with his professionalism and friendliness.

He made sure to understand our wedding day timeline so that he coordinated music appropriately for all the moments/formalities during our reception. We unexpectedly lost my husband's sister two weeks before our wedding, and due to that - we had several last-minute changes: song swaps and additions, timing adjustments, and even a couple of moments our families and friends surprised us with the day of. David took these changes with a can-do attitude and genuine enthusiasm. Nothing ever felt like a hassle for him, and that level of adaptability made a world of difference during a time that could’ve easily been stressful.
The actual event went flawlessly. The transitions between songs were smooth, the energy on the dance floor was electric all night, and he read the crowd perfectly. Guests of all ages were dancing, smiling, and telling us afterward how much they loved the music.

We had 3 check ins where we discussed timeline, logistics and song choices. Admittedly I had particular genres and artists I wanted to hear and on the day of, David played every song on my list. I was so stressed about everyone having a good time at my wedding and didn’t realize how much music has to do with that enjoyment.
